Just wanted to say I had a incredible experience with you guys. From sales to delivery. The two guys you sent John and Jim were amazing and extremely helpful with my elderly mother. They did the delivery fast and efficient I couldn't believe it. Was worried at first because the fridge was big and my door ways are pretty narrow. John took it apart down to the last screw on a 100 degree day I felt so bad but he got it in and I was very impressed. I'll never shop at big box stores again. They even helped my mother who is 86 sweep and clean behind the fridge after they pulled the old one out. Thank you new england appliance!!!! We will definitely be back and I'll be telling my family and friends about the wonderful experience I had with you guys. Hard to find stores that take their job serious these days. These people are pros and care about the customer which is a HUGE plus! Keep up the good work and Thank you again!! 5 stars!!!!! 😊

The New England Appliance staff exceeded my expectations. I walked in at 7:30 am a few days before Christmas and a nice woman greeted me and assisted me until Tom the salesman arrived he assisted me with my purchase promptly as I had a short amount of time to get to work that morning. And Then I got the call that I will get my Refrigerator before Christmas. Thank you all so much for a great experience buying experience. From the sale to the delivery you did not disappoint.

This review was five stars until my most recent purchase from NEA. So far we've purchased two washing machines, a dryer, and a refrigerator here, and our experience with the first three were great. I felt like the salespeople we've spoken to have always been very knowledgeable and have never tried to upsell us for a bigger commission. Until our most recent purchase, I felt that the follow-up customer care was also great. When our washer purchased in 2019 wasn't leveled correctly, NEA found someone to come fix it. When our dryer stopped working, the salesperson helped me diagnose a blocked vent duct over the phone. Recently, I purchased a top freezer, bottom refrigerator after my fancier side-by-side (purchased at Lowes, long story there) burnt its compressor after three years. The salesperson I worked with really helped us find a refrigerator that maximized our space and even had a water line...BUT he failed to mention that all refrigerators of its kind ship with their doors opening a certain way AND that the doors must be swapped before delivery. This being the second refrigerator I've purchased in my lifetime, and the first that didn't have the teeny side-by-side doors, I didn't think to ask about swapping the hinges. When delivery day came, the deliverymen didn't even level the fridge, leaving it sitting at an angle from side-to-side. Once they left, I discovered that I couldn't open the door all the way because it hit the kitchen island. Because of this I can't even open one of the produce drawers all the way or move the shelves. Apparently I trusted the salesperson a little too much, because this is now my problem to fix at my expense. NEA wants $160 to have this fixed, even though the salesperson admitted over the phone that he should have checked at the point of sale about the door hinge. I'm moderately handy, but I simply don't have time to do this somewhat involved project and the instructions from the manufacturer are terrible. Not to mention, I need the $160 to pay for the food to fill this fridge, with food prices being what they are. New England Appliance should change their tagline to "Our mistakes are your problem."

Jim and John our delivery and installers exceeded our expectations. Carried a fridge up 3 flights, took off two doors , removed the “ old oversized “ refrigerator and you would not ever know they were there. 5 Stars everyday. Don’t forget Dave , best salesman we have dealt w in a long time.

Can not express enough how amazing John and Jim were that delivered our fridge to the second floor today. I live in a 100 yr old house in Dorchester which didn’t make it easy to manuveur around corners and doorways. They made it happen and were so efficient! Worth every penny for the delivery fee! I had nothing but problems with Lowes And still had no fridge after three attempted deliveries only for them to ring bell and drive off.

I went in there and purchased Fridge, Stove, Microwave, Dishwasher, Dryer, and Washer. Justin S. helped me purchase all of the kitchen appliances and George C. helped me purchase the washer and dryer. Both of these gentlemen were great from start to finish. Their customer service was A1. Whether you're buying one appliance or a lot, absolutely no one has better prices than New England Appliance . I did heavy research. They literally beat everyones else's prices. Eric W. was also super helpful and patient when I came in like very week because my items were on back order to check when they were coming. Excellent place with excellent people. Can't go wrong. Highly Recommend.

We just purchased our first home! Our main concern is our existing kitchen. Choosing to remodel has been a process. Today we were out all day looking at cabinets, tiles, flooring, and fixtures. This was an exhausting process with not much luck. We decided to make our last stop New England Appliance— and we are glad we did. We browsed for a bit until we were approached by a very enthusiastic staff member tossing out dad jokes, Larry. He brought my husband and I through every make and model we requested. While he was a fan of the Fridgeaire appliances, he always gave us his honest option about our preferences. Larry is great at what he does. He makes jokes, shares his personal stories, and makes this big purchase seem not so scary. On top of this, he also shared with us the best ways to save money, which is important to a newly married couple. While we had eyes bigger than our wallets, he showed us the best alternative to our ideas. If you are visiting New England appliance ask for Larry ! He turned our whole day around and made us excited about our kitchen again!

After trying for 3 days (including many attempts to reach Frigidaire) I was looking for a new wall air unit for my mother in another state. I was finally able to speak with Terri and not only did she help me figure out the newer model number but was able to order it to come in a couple of days!! quality customer service and much appreciated!!!

The prices are competitive. The aftermarket 5 year warranty company consumer priority service is a total sham. Save your money and get a manufacturer direct extended warranty. The warranty company actually told me to call the manufacturer once the 1 year was up. They told me the $499. dishwasher at 17 months old was not financially sensible to repair. They offered me $230. to settle the repair claim. They based the offer on the current market value of the machine, minus the $135. service call. The original extended warranty cost us $130. Total scam. New England Appliance should find a more reputable company for extended warranties. UPDATE. To NE Appliances ' credit, they were able to negotiate a reasonable settlement with the warranty company. They sent a comparable replacement new machine (from their scratch and dent collection which changes constantly and can be a source for great bargains). The only catch was we had to pay for the installation for a second time in less than 24 months. The other thing that seems to have happened in the last 24 months is they switched 3rd party warranty companies for some reason.

So sad that I waited till I had a VERY BAD experience before rating, but I have used them in the past and LOVED the place. ALWAYS recommended it to everyone. Well now not so good. purchased a 3 year warranty and 2 years in refrigerator is leaking so I called and now going on 3 weeks no one is able to help because my warranty was registered to NO ONE!!! so who took the $90 I paid for it??? UPDATE: So they made good and sent someone out to fix it. Finally Larry was able to help and even offered a loaner till it was fixed. I forget the women who called me but she donated her husband to come out after a long day of working. He came around 8 and missed time with his children to fix my problem. For them I am very grateful. I'm still a little iffy and purchased a new washing machine some place else. Might give it a try if I need anything later down the road.

Went there to find a scratch and dent fridge for the basement. Prices really do not reflect scratch and dent. Found a fridge in the range I was willing to spend with the front of the door caved in for $600 ended up finding a slightly bigger fridge at Lowes for $400 with no major damage done to it

I was desperate for a freezer as mine was on the fritz and failing fast, of course, close to Fourth of July. I could not get a brand new freezer from anyone (Sears, Best Buy, etc.) because all the trucks were full so it would be 4-5 days. I couldn't wait. I needed it ASAP. I was able to go into NE Appliance at 7:30 in the evening and purchase a dent and scratch. I have purchased here before and it had no marks; this one had more than a few dents on the side, but the one on the door bothered me most. They sold it to me at their cost, which I am grateful for, as I needed it ASAP. I would recommend this company highly. I have had several purchases here and have always been satisfied. Thank you.

My biggest issue is that I needed a fridge delivered by Monday evening. I purchased it on Saturday and the lady there said she would put in a rush on the delivery and that I would be called for delivery Monday morning. Well, its Monday after lunch and I still haven't been called. I called earlier and was told they would call me back. My tenants do not have a working fridge right now (since Sunday it has not been working) so I am in wait mood...

This is a VERY good place to purchase all kinds of appliances: stoves, refrigerators, washing machines & dryers. They may have a small bump/ding on them but nothing that would stop their working ability. The prices are quite reasonable. I have enjoyed the appliances I have purchased here over the years.
