Benson’s is the absolute best company to buy all your appliances from. Not only do they have good brands to choose from, but their service department is excellent!! No waiting on 2-3 weeks to get repair. We have owned a condo in Orange Beach, AL since 1997. We have bought every appliance we’ve needed from Benson’s. We are long distance owners, and can always depend on Benson’s to keep our appliances humming along….especially during heavy rental summer months.

Well first of all let me start with the manager Sean. This is the second time we have worked with him and each time he is what customer service used to be like years ago. Then we had the guys that delivered our appliances today. Both nice. Glen was fantastic. Very patient and genuinely friendly with our little boy. A good sense of humor and we just had a great experience overall. We’ve felt in the past and this time included that Bensons appliances gives you more of the feel of the family owned businesses that used to be around years ago. Very refreshing and thank you! Update: I returned the ice maker door dispenser flap and received a full refund. I had changed my mind about doing this job myself because the front was not like in the utube demonstration. The front could not be popped off. Also, the flap looked used and was in an old plastic bag with a cut showing it was not new in a sealed bag. She said all of them looked like that. But refunded the $18.20. I need to hire someone who knows how to replace this flap on a GE Profile refrigerator with ice maker. I stopped in Benson's for an ice dispenser flap. The unit I purchased has the correct item number. However, the bag is old, dirty, and cut. This makes me think that I am buying a used flap or and old dried out flap. The question is: why would she select the worse packaged item? At the time, I did not look at all that, the cut, the oldest of the package. It was good to just see the item. Now I want to return it for an exchange of a new part in cleaned uncut untampered package. I wonder if she will say that was the last ice maker dispenser flap on the shelf. Does not hurt to try. Why not? She would not want someone selling a part to her that looks like that.

Wow. So until last week - I've lived in apartments my entire life. We _just_ moved into a house we've been having built. This was the first major appliance purchase I've made, and I can assure you I will never make a future appliance purchase from Home Depot. My Home Depot experience: In June, I placed an order for a Samsung washer + dryer. It was delayed and delayed and delayed. Eventually until September, I had to cancel the order & walked into Benson's to see if I could get a similar set delivered to Gulf Shores sooner. I was able to pick from a hah-YOOGE selection, and got NEXT DAY delivery & installation. I've been so impressed with the quality of EVERY member of their staff - from the sales people to delivery drivers/installers. Also worth calling out: the people who made the delivery handled the equipment carefully, and respected my house. (I was terrified there was going to be banging and clanging against the walls - there was none of that.) It's also clear Benson's values service & quality - they have invested heavily into technology & software. I was able to track my delivery like an Uber, they have a modern website & the customer service team had very sharp looking double monitor setups. You guys have a new customer for life. This was an 11/10 A++ experience.

Not only did Steve at the main store point us to Benson’s Scratch and Dent in Robertsdale, but Sean Senior helped us collaborate via FaceTime with our business manager, took care of changing out the doors on the refrigerator, set up the delivery and Bodie and David delivered in a very timely and professional manner. Neither Home Depot or Lowes can light a candle to local vendors like Benson Appliance. Shop local!

The dryer at our beach house died late on a Friday with a house full of people and towels. I researched what dryers Bensons had in stock in their website which was great. Then we went on Saturday when they opened and bought the new dryer and out of there in 15 minutes. Dryer I wanted as in stock and on sale! Dryer delivered by mid afternoon on Monday. Had all the towels and sheets dried in time to head home on Tuesday. Awesome service!

We had ordered a washer from home depot,upon delivery I noticed the washer was damaged. I sent it back for three weeks they gave us the run around telling us we'd get a replacement washer, it never happened. We went to Benson's work with a really friendly woman at the front,who was able to help us right away they delivered the washer on Monday with no issues and no problems thank you Benson oh and the delivery fellows,( Brandon and Zander). I needed a replacement dishwasher in Gulf Shores at our condo and needed quick delivery for our limited visit. They came through with delivery the next day. It was a pleasure working with them. The only problem was a slightly different model was delivered and installed. It wasn't my preferred model as I couldn't place the silverware basket in my preferred place. When I had an issue with my dryer - “Use one of ours as a loaner until your new one can be delivered” they said. Their showroom floor is large and well lit. Sean listened to my specifics and immediately took me to great choices, even "dented" and "scratched". It was a no Brainer and I got my hearts desire at a good good price. My old refrigerator was gone, and they were able to work a fast delivery which saved my food. Installation was efficient and tricky and successful. I had 10 ladies coming over that morning, they were in and out by the time my guest arrived. So ... We needed a refrigerator but it had to be a specific width height and depth because we'd built a surround around the old one 15 years ago. We couldn't find anything online in our price range. While eating lunch we noticed Benson's Outlet in Robertsdale - what luck! With the help of excellent salespersons we found a "never been used" at the right price. They delivered by noon the next day. The delivery and setup was fast, courteous, and respectful of our home. YOU NEED TO CHECK THEM OUT!

I needed a washing machine. I stopped at Lowes and after trying to locate a salesperson with no success, I left and went to Bensons. A sales lady greeted me immediately. I told her what I wanted and she showed me a few machines. I found exactly what I was looking for within minutes. We completed the transaction and I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. It was delivered in less than 24 hours by two cheerful delivery men. This isn’t my first purchase from Bensons. I’m always satisfied with their service.

Highly recommend Bensons! Recently purchased a new washer and dryer from them and the washer was accidentally damaged during delivery. No questions asked, they replaced it with another identical new one and didn’t even suggest repairing the damaged one. Love their honesty and commitment to the customer, will definitely buy all future appliances from them!!!

Good selection of refrigerators. I would have liked better if I didn't have to pay extra for a ice maker, delivery charges(extra $100) because of 2nd floor delivery. I would have liked my refrigerator door to open from the other side but was unwilling to pay for another $150 in extra charges!

This is the third repairman, who seemed more knowledgeable than the previous ones. And promised to follow through until the problem is fixed. Thanks Jimmy. We previously paid for parts and service that didn’t fix the problem. Made numerous phone calls. COVID may have been to blame as we waited on parts but still those parts were not what we needed anyway? And to be sent 3 different repairmen when it should have been one guy to follow through with the whole process. Each visit was like starting from scratch all over again. We’ll see next week when Jimmy comes back with what I hope is the final solution.

buying experience was perfect. The delivery was frustrating but ultimately very good. the delivery was suppose to take place at 830 am and finished up round 5pm. There was a miscommunication on a few levels (we are human mistakes happen) My issue was the deliveryman was rude and should have handled the situation differently. Ultimately the owner stepped in, came personally and finished the delivery install. People have bad days and mistakes happen. But at the end of the day the own committed to making it right and that's what he did. I would strongly recommend Benson's.

Bensons saved thanksgiving! I dropped a pan and cracked my entire cooktop on my oven 1 week before thanksgiving! Went to several big box stores and none were able to deliver an electric double oven for at least 6 weeks Was about to call all my guests and cancel but heard about Bensons from a salesman at the last store we tried. We went in and to my delight they had just what I needed in stock! It was delivered to my home within 24 hours AMAZING!!! Apparently my washer was offended when I said I didn't want to do laundry for Mother's Day because it threw a fit, fell apart AND fried the motherboard in the process. That being said, Benson's down in Foley just made the entire process so easy!! The girls in there are sweet, knowledgeable and so helpful. Great family AND dog friendly business. Our repair guy recommend the Speed Queen brand and Benson's thankfully had this brand in stock, we even decided to get the dryer and apureClean system They have a great selection and I highly recommend going to see them for all of your appliance needs, they will take great care of you!!

My wife and went to the store last Saturday, told them our budget we wanted to spend for a dryer. Found one at a great price. Needed it delivered told them I get off at 11 am on Wednesday could they deliver them. Purchasing of a refrigerator was a simple and pleasant experience. Delivery was scheduled for 8am-10am. It's now 11:37 glad I took a half day off work to be here for the delivery. Oh, delivery driver just called, might have it by the end of the day! Thanks! Update: it arrived at 2:05pm. Delivery driver calls from a 251 number and leaves an out of state number as a call back.

We bought a complete appliance package from Benson's and we truly cannot say enough good things about how great Chuck; the owner, Sean Sr., Sean Jr. and Kelly have been to us throughout this whole process. They have honestly gone above and beyond what any other company would do. Of course, they will work with you on pricing, but I guarantee that you will NEVER get the outstanding customer service that Benson's will give you...especially, not from a big box store. Once the sale is done, they will be done with you. Not so with Benson's! We had previously purchased a dryer from them and recently had an electrical problem at our condo that burned the plug. With one phone call, they were right there to deliver and install us a new one! What other store would do that?! If you want a great buying experience, care about service AFTER the sale, and want to meet some of the nicest people you'll ever meet, then Benson's is the ONLY place to go!

After paying someone good money to look at my dryer and telling me they would be expensive repairs and to get a new dryer I decided to fix it myself. Thanks to the wonderful ladies at the parts counter for helping me figure out what was really the problem. What my service guy said was totally wrong! Cost me less than 1/4 the price to fix myself. Very happy with the customer service I received from Bensons. We discovered after hurricane Sally that we lost our dishwasher! 😢 We thought for sure no one would have stock, as we needed it to match our other appliances. I called and Nichole was VERY helpful. Nichole guided me to the ones she had in stock on their website.... these fit my requirements.... I made my selection and drove to Foley and picked it up. Now, as many many places do... if you use a credit card their credit card company will charge you a surcharge, THEY DON’T charge this. Nichole informed me of this prior to letting me just “swipe.” I’m very thankful that she told me, I asked her if she could hold my dishwasher until I could run home and get cash! She said “of course “ The “swipe fee” wouldn’t have been that much BUT, the fact that she told me is another reason we will be back.
