My husband and I had a great experience with Spichers Appliances. The sales people were professional and helpful, without being pushy. They all are very knowledgeable about each brand. Their prices are also very competitive. They were honest about shortages and delays due to supply chain backups. We were able to get our refrigerator, oven, microwave and dishwasher in a timely manor though. The delivery guys were great as well! Professional and friendly and knew what they were doing! We will definitely return to Spichers for future purchases!

If you are looking for a no haggle and professional company go no further. I stopped in to browse and was immediately assisted but not pressured to make a purchase or decision. After a few weeks I returned as my appliances were in need of being replaced. My awesome salesman Garrett was great about confirming I didn’t want to look further and reviewed the items with me again. He made both my intersections extremely seamless and I was quickly set with delivery dates. When delivery time came I was contacted multiple times to confirm and the installers were great and efficient. They again went over my product and made sure I didn’t have any issues. Highly recommend them for your next appliance needs.

My wife and I purchased a microwave and we were in the store 30-45 minutes total. We purchased and set up a delivery/installation date all in that short time. I received texts from the automated system letting me know our time window. I received a call from the crew 15 minutes before they got here that they where on their way. I received another text when they actually arrived at the house that they were there. My purchase was small but I felt as though it was big and important to everyone involved. Thank you for the terrific service all around. Everyone was very pleasant to deal with. What a Great experience.

Great experience working with Rob Smith! Dryer kicked the bucket three days before Christmas. Called up Rob to see what options we had in replacing the washer and dryer. He was able to make a few recommendations on units. I was afraid with the holidays and backlog of supply, that we would be several weeks before we would see the new unit. Spicher's delivered the units yesterday and installed everything. It was easy, fast, and communication was great. Better prices then the big box stores, and superior service.

In the past week, I placed an order online with Spicher's for a "garage-ready" refrigerator. It was on sale - an easy way to order; a salesman called me almost immediately (Mark R.) and was very helpful and accommodating. He informed me that the black would take a few weeks to get in and delivered but they had white in stock which still suited my needs since it didn't have to match anything in my garage. It was delivered today; an old fridge was removed from my basement and all was handled expeditiously and no muss or fuss. Thank you....would not buy an appliance from anyone else. They have the best service!

The two young men that delivered our washer and dryer were right on time. They were very caring with removing the old washer and dryer. We never had one issue as to how things were handled. We’ve never felt pressure to buy, but have always felt informed. Our most recent purchase was a new upright freezer, since our 8 year old Sears brand’s compressor went out, it was just delivered by a courteous and professional team. End to end a great experience. Went to Spichers store looking for a new over the range microwave. Kevin approached us to ask if he could help. He asked about our uses with a microwave and suggested the one we ended up purchasing. We decided to let Spichers install the new one. We chose a day and two installers came the exact time they said they would be there. They removed the old microwave and installed the new one in a very reasonable time and did a professional job and they took the old one with them to recycle. The two installers were very courteous and professional, asking if I had any questions before they left and left the kitchen as it was before. I buy all my appliances at Spichers for this reason

Just had my first experience with Spicher's here in Hagerstown. I can't begin to say how nice our experience was! We woke to our current upright freezer not working, we were already losing food. Looked on their website for options, called to inquire what was in stock, paid for new freezer over the phone & it was literally delivered within an hour!! Now that is what I call service! We had heard great things about Spichers but we got to experience their great reputation first-hand this week! We found ourselves unexpectedly in need of a refrigerator (our LG broke after only 6 years and the repair was so expensive that purchasing a new refrigerator made more sense). Due to a flat tire on the way to Spichers we arrived 20 minutes before closing time. Our salesperson, John Steinla, could not have been more gracious. He patiently guided us through what was available given our "wish list" and was totally transparent with stock situations and lead times (2021 is not a great time to need a major appliance). We walked the Spichers floor more than once while John helped us weigh our options. We left that evening with three models we were considering and all of the paperwork we needed to make a fully informed decision. The next day we decided to move ahead with purchasing a floor model (so refreshing to find companies who are willing to sell their floor models) and the 5 year warranty. The make things even better Spichers was able to deliver and install the refrigerator 2 days later. The installers were friendly, professional, and competent and reassured us that if we should experience any issues Spichers would immediately send somebody out. From start to finish we could not have wished for better service. We have a new refrigerator but more than that we have a trusted source for future purchases.

Took exactly 3 months to receive our refrigerator once ordered. Not Spichers fault, it was a supply chain issue. The delivery team bent over backward to accomplish the delivery and installation. It had snowed the night before and they had to deal with an ice covered sidewalk and steps leading up to our house. They were very professional and respectful of our house and furnishings.

"Great brands at Great prices" I was able to buy it over the phone without needing to go into the store. "Convenient" The sales person was able to answer all my questions. Our refrigerator died on Tuesday afternoon. Called Curt Spicher at 2 p.m. He had a serviceman here by 3 p.m. Compressor and condenser shot. Estimate of $1000 for parts and repair. Decided to buy new one. Met Curt the next morning at the store at 8:15. Selected a new refrigerator which matches the rest of our appliances. It was delivered and installed by 9:30 that same morning and the old one was hauled away. NOW THAT'S SERVICE!

Sales staff on top of latest and greatest technologies and were super friendly and meet our every need, without trying to up sell. Spicher’s delivery is were they get the A+++ rating . They gave us a delivery day and confirmed by text. The day before they gave us a 2 hour window for delivery and 15 mins within that window they texted “on the way”. Our experience of replacing fridge, stove and microwave went so smoothly and without problems, I couldn't believe it. Our salesman (Old John) was knowledgeable and went out of his way to help us find what we needed. We knew in advance that retailers are having a hard time getting inventory in appliances, so we expected that it might be a million years from now that we would have our stuff. As it turned out, everything we wanted was in stock and in less than two weeks, new appliances! The guys who delivered and installed the appliances were likewise knowledgeable and helpful. The previous owner of this house must have had someone with little know-how install the appliances. The Spichers guys had to do a lot of electrical work to get our things installed, but they did it and the work was well done. They were courteous and helpful and we appreciated their comments and observations. A first rate experience for us!

I was looking for a new stove and decided on the make and model that I wanted. Looked at a big box home goods store. When I went to see if they had the model, it was more than what was on the internet site and I would have had to wait until March to get it. Looked at Spichers internet site and they had the same make & model at a reduced price, chatted on line and then called the store. They had it in stock and delivered it within a week. Very satisfied with the whole process.

Our freezer stopped working and I called them the next morning as soon as they opened. We had a service technician out that same day. Our freezer was not repairable so we purchased a new freezer over the phone that same day. Less than a week later the new freezer was delivered. I have purchased all my appliances from Spichers for the last 30 years. They have always provided excellent and quick service, if anything ever goes wrong. I ordered a GE dishwasher and it was delivered about 5 days after ordering and for an extra $15 they hauled off my old unit. Spichers does not install dishwashers but they do have plumbers they recommend to help you out. The website is a little frustrating to sort through but the text to help service was great, for example I couldn't add an installation kit to my cart on the website but the text help recommended I include that I need one in the comments. After placing the order they called me back and squared up the installation kit and added it to my order. The delivery went well but they couldn't schedule a time block so I had to wait until the day of at 8:30am and call them for the delivery schedule to get a better idea of when they would show up.

Within the last few months I purchased the following appliances from Spichers: portable dishwasher, washing machine, and refrigerator. Dealt with a number of the salesmen from Spichers for these purchases and they are all Friendly, outstanding and knowledgeable about their products. Good luck with finding a knowledgeable salesman at the box stores. Unfortunately the refrigerator we initially received from Spichers would not seal properly when we had the door switched to the other side to open to the left. Spichers came, picked up the refrigerator at no charge, no questions asked and promptly delivered another refrigerator to us. I read a number of reviews from the big box stores where the Box Store would not pick up the defective appliance, it was the customer's responsibility to return it. I compared prices with Spichers and other stores and they all are pretty much set prices on all appliances. Here is another reason I chose Spichers over other stores - Spichers will repair/service all appliance they sell. Trying to find someone to repair appliances these days is difficult not to mention expensive.

Spichers is the place to go if you want an excellent service even when you bought appliances there 15 years ago. Can we say the same thing from big box or online retailers? Absolutely not. I recently had an issue with the oven door. This is the oven we bought from Spichers in 2005. I called their service department. The service manager Mike quickly figured out the issue. I took the door over, they fixed the issue free of charge. This I call true service. I highly recommend Spichers for their competitive pricing but more importantly their top notch service personnel.

We were in the process of filling out the paperwork and I ask Jim if we could get a discount since we were purchasing 3 major appliances?? He’s response was “we are not Kmart”!! He then good very rude. He then went on to tell me that they charge 15$ for each appliance that is hauled away. I ask him after he said that if they could wavier that 15$ per appliance fee he very rudely said NO. I said to him ok then I will walk away. He then rudely got up with my papers and walked away from me mumbling. I looked at him and told him you are very rude and I wanted my papers back and would go somewhere else. He tried to not give me my papers back but I grabbed them out of his hand and took them. They had my information on them and he had know right to try and keep them. We did go back and spoke with John another salesman which was an awesome salesman. The moral of the story is. If you go to Spichers do not deal with JIM. Then yesterday 2 of my appliances were delivered and he called me and said I had to pay for the 2 removals which I already paid that to John. He said you never turned in the application I said yes I did. I went through John and not you!

My final visit was with Jim in the Hagerstown Maryland store. He was very helpful and we ended up buying a GE stove. WE LOVE SPICHER'S. They have very helpful and polite salesmen that will show you appliances that are in your budget and have the features that you are looking for. They do not pressure you and they don't try to upsell to items that are higher than what you told them. We bought our fridge there about a year ago, and we were just in again today to replace our range and microwave. In fact when my wife and I decided that we wanted a more expensive microwave to pair with our new slide in range, the salesman asked "are you sure? That one costs more than we discussed," but he was happy to change sale to accommodate it even after we had already purchased the less expensive one. Furthermore, the appliances that they get are built better than the same models that are available in the big box stores, but they often have the same price and free delivery so why not support a local business!

Clothes dryer quit heating up for my wife while I was stuck at work for 48 hours. Once I got home I found that everything else was working fine other than that. She had already ordered another one by the time I got home which would have been about $600 if not more meaning I pretty much worked the last 2 days to pay for a dryer. However I asked her if I fixed it would that work and she said that would be fine. We called Spichers Appliances to see if they had a heating element for our particular dryer which they did and said they would have it waiting on the counter for us when we got there and would also test our current one. I took ours out which only took a few minutes. When we arrived at the store and went to the parts counter we were greeted by a friendly lady behind a desk asking if she could help us and once we told her she went to get someone to help us. Another employee an older gentleman then came out of the office and took the time to show us what was wrong with our element and then put the fuse from ours which was still good on the new one. I then informed him I needed a new dryer vent hose and he asked how long. I let him know it was just a short piece and he gave me piece off of his van free of charge. Thanks Spichers and employees for saving me $600 BIG ONES. Highly recommend this business.

She insisted we wait till the repair guy came back he never called. But we bypassed her and drove over an found a pleasant sales guy. He figured it out and got us on our way just before they closed. I can't get mad but if we would have waited our washer would have been dead all weekend. She got the stink eye when we seen her lol.
