This is a fantastic place to rent videos! I can't say enough good things about it. I've been a customer now for about three years and never had a bad experience. There have only been a few times they didn't have what I was looking for and those were pretty niche searches. I love renting movies there knowing that my money is directly supporting true and honest Alaskan locals and not Amazon or Google. Absolutely worth the drive if I know what I'm watching that night.

First time to visit this place today. I had no idea this was in town. I've been bummed since blockbuster closed down because redbox just doesn't have the selection of a real video rental place. And, now that we've upgraded to 4k I've discovered that 4k movies are super expensive to buy ($30+, no, really!) and there is nowhere else to get them in town other than buying them. Enter, Rainbow Video. They actually have a pretty good selection of 4k movies (our family likes kids movies as well as action movies). Probably had about 150 4k movies, as well as a whole bunch of dvd's and blue ray discs. Good selection of new releases. Prices are not bad at all, $3 for two nights for 4k discs. Also, they rent video games, including switch games, for $2.50 for two nights. So glad to have found this place, our family will be regulars for sure.

The only reputable video rental store left up here, this place has a huge selection and super good prices. They have a lot of Asian movies, all the American stuff, most modern video games, and a pretty big selection of anime. The employees are affable and cool.

It's so rare to find a video store these days. With Blockbuster on its last legs it's good to see a local business still providing a needed service. They have the largest selection of hard to find anime and lots of international films. You should really stop by and check it out. Blu-rays are 3$ and I'm not sure what the other movies are.

Great selection of blue-ray and dvd's, cant beat the price either 2 nights for 1.50, cheaper than redbox, brought back memories of renting movies at blockbuster on friday nights.

The best place to rent blue ray and dvd movies. They have all the new releases. I think it's the last place to rent movies in Anchorage.

Great customer service. Plenty of snacks to choose from and easier then managing a rental list for Netflix. Just show up, get it and go home.

Even though most people stream now including myself. I always come here to rent the more niche hard to videos. Anime and assorted asian videos, korean, Taiwanese, Hong kong, Japanese and Filipino. They also have a small asian market connected. Great service family owned. Highly recommended.
