Dr. Kang brought me back to life! I have been suffering of long Covid for over 6 months. Everyday a different pain and symptom manifested, while each specialist ordered every test in the book, and prescribed more meds. My immune system kept rejecting them, and within 3 months I spent $4k out of pocket on insurance copayments. My BP was like a Rollercoaster, under 3 Rx it was at 150s/100s with palpitations, chest pain, dizziness... I had all indicators prompting a stroke. My focus, and short memory gone. My anxiety and depression thru the roof. No energy, insomnia and whole body aches. After the first visit, I suddenly felt my blood circulating thru my body. No more purple feet and cold skin. I slept like a baby and continued doing so until now. The next day, I woke up full of energy and almost didn't want to stop doing chores. One of the bests acupuncturists in town. Ignore the 1 star review, not sure what that guy was on about. Usually for other acupuncturists I would have to go to more than 1 session to feel anything noticeable/tangible. But after only one session it blew me away. I mentioned that anxiety was one of the issues I had and after the session, I immediately felt relaxed and calmer and the effect carried out throughout the whole day and to the next. Suffering from hair loss from covid and stress related. I am send in this review on behalf of my Family. My Wife has been struggling with hair loss for roughly a year. It is odd to me and is because she has never experienced anything like this in her life nothing genetic it just started. I went to Dr Kang with a nerve issue. I had pins and needles running down my arm, with what started as once and a while became frequent and then started to loose feeling in 2 fingers. I did PT and had an MRI and it just wasn't getting better. Fast forward 5 months later, I started massage and coupled that with treatment from Dr Kang. I immediately saw some results after one session with him. After about 6 sessions I completed the treatment and still (3 weeks later) have no pins and needles. I highly recommend his treatment!!

When I first met Dr. Kang, I had already been sick for a month with an upper respiratory infection but most painfully, migraines that kept cycling for a month straight all day and night. The pain was so excruciating that I had double vision, sensitive to light, touch, sounds, weather. I could not control my movements without shaking, vertigo, dizziness, excessive sweating but cold hands and feet, I could barely walk, stand or sit. I had eye infections from all the tears from the migraines, loss of memory, inability to speak or hear coherently. I had been to the doctor numerous times with no lasting relief, I had been to the hospital for the headache cocktail with the same result. I had tried all of the over the counter medication, and prescription meds available until I could get into to see a neurologist. Dr. Kang was informative, compassionate and very knowledgeable and professional about his work. The first visit, I found relief. By the third visit, I walked out of the office with no pain that day! Instead of taking around 10-12 pain pills every 4 hours to get minor relief, I have been able to take them twice a day. Although the pain is at its worst in the middle of the night and into the morning, it has been decreasing in intensity since I have been seeing Dr. Kang. I still have a ways to go, but I am genuinely hopeful and optimistic that I can and will be healed completely from the inside out. I have genuinely thanked Jehovah for Dr. Kang! Many blessings!

i came to see Dr. Kang for knee pain that had been ongoing for more than 6 months. Since i have severe arthritis, bone spurs, effusion & thinning of knee cap in that knee and i'd already been to several doctors, had injections, physical therapy, massage therapy, etc. without any relief, my expectations were low. I have been seeing Dr Kang for the last 2-3 months, for a variety of ailments, but primarily for stress/anxiety. Having never experienced acupuncture I was somewhat nervous and not knowing what to expect...or whether it would work. Dr Kang is very methodical and explained everything from the beginning...and I have to say I am a fan. My anxiety is low, I feel better overall and very relaxed after each treatment. An all natural! I have been Dr. Kang's patient for less than two months. I can definitely say at this point, that I feel much improvement in my right knee which has been a real problem to me for some years. In addition to my knee being much better, my overall energy level has also improved. Dr. Kang's great knowledge and skill in administering acupuncture as well as the herbal mixture that he provided seem to be just what I needed to improve my health. Not to be dramatic, but Dr. Kang pretty much saved my life. I am 24 years old and was diagnosed with sudden idiopathic hearing loss. I saw 3 ENT specialists who ordered multiple tests for me including hearing test, MRI's and autoimmune disease testing. I had been on 3 different kinds of steroid medications for 3 months, nothing had helped and my quality of life had significantly decreased. After months of feeling scared, hopeless and anxious, I found Dr. Kang on Google and was so desperate for help I decided to give acupuncture a shot. After several treatments, my quality of life is not quite back to 100%, but it is almost there and I am confident it will return to 100% with continued sessions. If you are in a situation like myself, and Dr's have given you no answers and nothing but tests and uncertainty, I highly recommend that you give Dr. Kang a shot. I was in chronic shoulder pain when I arrived at Mr.K’s. I didn’t believe that traditional pain management would be a solution to treat the cause, so I sought out a local acupuncturist. I’m at awe how effectively this has worked! I’ve been to two sessions so far and have take 1 ibuprofen through out the past three weeks. It’s absolutely unbelievable how much relief I’ve received! I was struck with a very sudden nasty bout of vertigo. I was extremely dizzy, nauseated and sick. I could barely stand with low energy as I was unable to eat. After 5 days of feeling miserable I decided to seek out treatment and as I don’t live in Florida I had no way of knowing whether Dr. Kang could help me however I took a chance and went to see him. After my second treatment I could not believe how much better I felt and in awe with how quickly his treatment accelerated my recovery. I had tried acupuncture on my Alaskan cruise 5 years ago when I was suffering from a "frozen shoulder". Steroid shots had only given me temporary relief. Physical therapy helped with some range of motion but I was still in pain. After 3 sessions of acupuncture, my pain completely went away. So i quickly became a "believer" in Acupuncture for certain conditions. Now 5 years later, I had been suffering from tendonitis in my right arm which I believe was a result of going to a local zip-lining, rope course place over a year ago. I mentioned this tendonitis pain to my primary care physician. She referred me to an orthopedic surgeon for a diagnosis and she said, he'll probably just give you a steroid shot to relieve the pain. Knowing this would only be temporary, i decided to try acupuncture again and found Dr. Kang. After just 4 sessions with Dr. Kang, I am almost completely pain free in my arm and have my range of motion back. Dr. Kang only books one appointment per hour so you have his dedicated attention during that entire time as he works on the site of your pain. He is very patient and kind and tells you where his emphasis will be during that session. I am very glad to have found such a caring doctor and will recommend him to my friends. Dr. Kang has a very good website which lists the conditions he can treat.

The closest thing I've experienced to a miracle worker! For the better part of a year I had what seemed like recurring episodes of low grade sinus headaches. These never became full blown. I'd suffer for awhile, the symptoms would go away, but return over and over again. Over the counter meds didn't make a difference. I tried to shrug it off. But the frequency and intensity increased. I saw my GP who ordered a CT scan. No sinus inflammation. By the time I went to an allergist I was now also experiencing vertigo, pain in my neck and right shoulder. He checked me out but couldn't correlate any symptoms with allergies. I was referred to a neurologist who wanted to do balance tests and put me on a drug to deaden the headaches. I even saw my dentist, thinking maybe I was suffering TMJ. I was tired, constantly uncomfortable and assumed I'd just have to live with the signs of aging, but I'm only in my mid 60s. On a cruise I was introduced to the idea of acupuncture. The shipboard cost was outrageous so I didn't do it, but I was intrigued. Before the cruise was over I had researched practitioners in Tampa. How do you decide which person to try when you've had no first hand experience with a practice that I'd always considered strange and "iffy"? I read reviews, studied websites, said a prayer and decided to try Dr. Kang. Wow, one of the best decisions of my life. I've completed 10 one-hour sessions with him and ALL my symptoms are GONE! I fondly refer to him as Dr.Needles. He is schooled in both western medicine and the more than 2000 year old practice of eastern medicine which includes acupunture. He is more thorough in asking about my health than anyone I've ever been to. He has consistently taken time to listen and assess my situation at every visit. He is respectful, informative and incredibly humble. Yes, I allowed a complete stranger to stick tiny needles in me to unleash a natural flow of energy, or at least that's what he tells me is happening. I can't explain how this works any more than I can explain how a pill I take from a traditional doctor works, but Dr Needles (I mean Kang's) expert touch has left me feeling 100% symptom free. Vertigo, gone. Neck pain, gone. Tingling in hands and feet, gone. Shoulder pain, gone. Headaches and sinus like pressure, gone - all in about 4 weeks! Sure this is a long review because Dr. Needles did what four other specialists could not identify, and more importantly, could not treat. I highly recommend that you consult him to see if acupuncture can relieve your nagging symptoms that have defied other attempted remedies. I went to Dr. Kang with severe pain between my shoulder blades and subsequent anxiety. 180 degree difference in 4 sessions. Dr Kang takes time to understand your issue. Great alternative to traditional treatment and meds. Highly recommend.

I am amazed at how well accupuncture works! I have had the need to see doctor Kang on several occasions. The first time I visited him was for tennis/golfers elbow. Originally I went to a well know surgeon who told me there was not much he could do, i had to just wait it out. He said it could take 6 months to two years. After 4 visits with doctor Kang my tennis/golphers elbow was gone!! A couple months later i hurt my back playing golf. So, I went to see a chiropractor who told me I had a pinched nerve hitting my disk. After 10 - 12 visits my back was not improving. I decided to see doctor Kang once agian. It took one session and I was playing golf the next week! What else can I say but "I'm a believer"! It's unbelievable how this works!! Give it a try!! I almost forgot my wife also went to him for headaches, guess what.... headaches are gone!!

After over a year of shoulder pain due to a yoga injury I came to Dr. Kang. At yoga on Monday my shoulder hurt so badley that I couldn’t do a side plank on my right side. I came to Dr. Kang on Tuesday and after one treatment I felt 85% better. On Wednesday at yoga, I could do side angel plank with no pain!!! After a total of three treatments I was completely healed. I only wish I would have come sooner!

I had severe migraines. I even went though a procedure called Radio frequency ablation where they burned my nerves which interrupts pain signals. This procedure works for about 6 months-2 years but you have to go back and do it again when the nerves regenerate. I was just about to go back to repeat this procedure again because my migraines came back. I take different kinds off migraine medicine everyday but nothing helps much. I decided to try Acupuncture before going back for another painful procedure. I’m so glad I did. IT WORKED!! Like magic. After 4 sessions of acupuncture, my headache is better. I no longer have headaches everyday like before and if I do have a migraine, I only have to take excedrine migraine (over the counter) and it’s GONE. In those 4 sessions, he also treated me for allergies that I have been suffering from for at least 19 years now . Normally I have to take allergy meds around the clock, including nose spray and eye drops. It’s been a week and I’m not taking anything!! So far Dr. Kang and his acupuncture has worked for me. I recommend him to anyone who suffers from severe migraines before going to RFA

My wife had severe tinnitus on right ear and severe de quervain tenosynovitis on here right wrist for a month. She tried ear drop relief for 3 weeks and also taking ibuprofen respectively but no relief. We made an appointment with Dr Kang and treatment plan was put in place. After the 1st session there was a 40% relief, 60% on second session, after 3rd session ringing of her right ear completely gone and he right wrist has significant improvement. I was sooo skeptical when it came to acupuncture!! I was actually online looking for a pain management doctor for my daughter and thankfully came across Tampa Top Acupuncture! I was desperate to get relief for my daughters pain. The emergency room was no help AT ALL! We were told to give her Advil for her severe chest wall, shoulder & back nerve pain. She was already taking the highest dosage of Advil and Tylenol she could for the past 4 days with zero relief. Thank God I found Dr. DK ! He got us right in! He sat there and listened to everything going on with her and listed all her issues. Wrote down every place she has pain and duration, frequency etc. He REALLY tries to get to the root of your pain to fix it. She’s been dealing with chronic widespread pain for years. He said he could eventually get rid of all her pain. I’m thinking yeah....months or years from now maybe lol. My daughter came in his office that 1st day holding ice packs on herself to relieve her pain and left without ANY pain! It was unbelievable! She went from crying to smiling in just an hour! She felt so much better she went to a concert then next day. She has also had arthritis in her knees since she was 9 years old and she’s is 15 now and he has greatly reduced her pain after only 2 treatments!
