How do I do something so simple as leave a review for someone who changed my life for the better? Dr. Lisa Grant is nothing short of a miracle worker! After experience unexplained recurring pregnancy loss (5 miscarriages and every test known to mankind came back negative) my husband begged me to give fertility acupuncture one last shot with the help of Dr. Lisa. I was resistant because I've never done acupuncture and have very little knowledge of Eastern medicine, but after digging my heels in for months, I agreed to give it one last try. Dr. Lisa was honest with me from the very beginning. I was experiencing a high risk pregnancy during a pandemic and she did everything in her power to help me have a successful pregnancy. I am now a very proud 2nd time Mom of a healthy baby boy and I owe it to Dr. Lisa. I listened to everything she said and put all my trust in her. She is very intelligent, kind, bold, knowledgeable, honest and real. I felt so safe with her and very well taken care of. Her guidance and care during my pregnancy was beyond anything I could have imagined. She will always be dear to me and my family. She gave us a miracle! She gave me my son. I’m 32 years old and I was diagnosed with PCOS a few years ago and I knew that it could be a little more difficult for me to get pregnant. I decided to go to the fertility clinic after being with my husband for 10years and no pregnancy. I did 3 IUIs at the fertility clinic and they all failed and I was devastated. The next step I was considering was IVF. Before making an appointment for this invasive procedure, I decided to try accupunture to help my body prepare for an IVF treatment. This is how I found Dr. Grant and I’m so grateful I did. From the moment I started her course I felt so much positivity and determination to have a baby. Completing all the lessons is very crucial. I completed the lessons in about 2 weeks and followed all her instructions. I never did the accupunture treatment. I only completed her online course because to my surprise a month later I tested positive for pregnancy. I couldn’t believe it because I was able to conceive naturally! Even if I didn’t get the outcome I hoped for, I have gained so much knowledge from Dr. Grant’s online course that I will use for the rest of my life. I highly recommend anyone dealing with fertility issues to reach out to Dr. Grant.

I have been seeing Dr. Lisa since March of 2021. I got married at 42 and we wanted to have children right when my husband and I got married. I've never had kids and had no idea how hard it would be to get pregnant after 40. After a real conversation with her, we agreed to go straight into IVF because we wanted to try for 2 children. I started acupuncture three months before IVF stimulation meds in conjunction with changing my diet. I went through two rounds of IVF, due to my first round having no normal embryos. She did tell me beforehand I would most likely need more than one round at 42. My second round we got our normal embryo and I am now almost 7 months pregnant with our baby boy. Our first transfer worked! I am 43 years old. We continued with acupuncture, before and after the embryo transfer, and now once monthly. Fertility is such a hard thing to go through, but Dr. Lisa is very supportive and realistic with everything. I wanted to work with someone who is down to earth, but also can give it to me straight, and that is how she works. I am very grateful to her for helping us get to this point and for helping this 43 year old get pregnant.

It’s hard to find the words to say, when I met Dr. Grant, I had 2 early miscarriages, a thyroid disease, no relief in symptoms and a cycle that was all over the place. She was able to figure out a perfect diet plan for me, do acupuncture, and get me on the right supplements. She is a WHOLE HEALTH doctor through and through. If you see her you can guarantee you will be cared for, listened to, and treated with the best whole Health plan. After just 3 months with her, my thyroid was already half way to remission and I was able to conceive a sweet baby boy. Dr. Lisa is a fertility genius! I started visiting Dr. Lisa last August after a friend recommended her practice when I shared we were struggling to conceive for three years. After trying to conceive for a year, my husband and I decided we wanted to try some alternative methods before beginning medical infertility treatment. I found Lisa online and once I read her website I knew she was the right person for us. During our very first phone call, she spent nearly 30 minutes on the phone with me providing suggestions to start trying before we came in for our first visit a few weeks later. I was so impressed that she took time out of her day to speak with me in detail before I ever stepped foot in her office, met her in person or paid her a dime. During our very first visit, she spent over two hours with us combing through all of our medical history and previous infertility tests. Lisa encouraged us to think of our treatment as "starting over" from month one. Although this was extremely difficult to conceptualize at first, I am sure glad we listened to her. Originally we only planned on doing 3 months of treatment but I was starting to feel so much better emotionally that we kept pushing back our deadline to start treatments with a reproductive endocrinologist. I came in to see Lisa 3 times a month for about 5 months and took the Chinese herbs she recommended in combination with the acupuncture treatments. Literally, a few weeks after our final acupuncture treatment, I received a positive pregnancy test much to my shock! I couldn't believe it and I have no doubt that my treatment with Lisa was a major contributing factor! Lisa truly cares about her clients and it was always a pleasure to go in to see her. She made me feel like I was a friend and not just a client and we are forever grateful for the beautiful gift she has helped us create. Lisa is an amazing acupuncturist! I started seeing Lisa after deciding to try IVF to get pregnant. She was very thorough in evaluating my background and had a good understanding of what treatment would work best for me. I saw he for 6 months prior to my first transfer and got pregnant the first time. I continued to see Lisa through my entire pregnancy and she was able to treat my symptoms before they became bothersome. I’ve seen many other acupuncturists for various reasons in the past 10 years. I am so beyond thankful I found Dr. Grant. I was frustrated after going to multiple OBGYN offices to find out why my cycle was non-existent all of a sudden, right when my husband and I wanted to conceive. All the doctors wanted to do was give me a prescription to jump-start my period and then another to help me ovulate. While this may work for some women I just felt it was not the right path for me because my body is showing me a sign that something is not right and I wanted to get down to the root cause of the issue. I came across Dr. Grant through a Google search and she was the exact type of provider I was looking for. She is very knowledgeable about whole body health, nutrition, fertility, thyroid issues, etc. She did blood work to truly look at what was going on with my body including a full thyroid panel which I have never had before ever since being diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2013. We found out I had Hashimoto’s, right away we had a nutrition plan to get my thyroid antibodies under control and to help get me into optimal health in order to get my cycles regulated and conceive. After seeing Dr. Grant for 3 months, incorporating the nutrition, supplements and doing acupuncture 2-3x/month I finally got pregnant after almost a year of trying! I’m currently 29 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby boy and I continue to see Dr. Grant to ensure a smooth pregnancy. She was so helpful with managing nausea, fatigue and stress in my first trimester and helping me find a chiropractor later on in the pregnancy to help with rib pain I was experiencing daily. It was such a relief finding Dr. Grant and feeling like you have a provider who truly cares about your health and individualizes care to your specific needs.

We are so grateful to have found Lisa and Spring Mountains Acupuncture! We were having trouble conceiving a second time. My initial phone consultation with Lisa was very impressive - she listened and gave personal advice immediately. I attended her fertility workshop which was very helpful and reassuring. After that, I was being seen for acupuncture treatments. Lisa is gentle, kind, caring and attentive. We ended up conceiving after a couple of months with a super low AMH. I believe the treatments, Chinese herbs supplements helped!! I continued to see her throughout my pregnancy and only had to stop because we are moving out of state :(. BUT wait....theres MORE....she went out of her way to recommend an acupuncturist in our new state!! She is a GEM. If you're having second thoughts, please give Lisa a chance. I had heard from a friend that acupuncture can help with fertility so I found Spring Mountains Acupuncture through Google search and I'm so glad I found Lisa. I couldn't have been any happier with my experience, Lisa is very kind and provides her patients with great care. For the first few sessions we went over my diet and talked about how I needed to change it because I was lacking in energy and of course having a good diet helps with fertility. Once we started acupuncture Lisa explained everything she did and why she was doing it. I found the information very interesting and educational. Not long after seeing Lisa I fell pregnant and I can not thank her enough for the help and advise she gave me through a very tough pregnancy due to morning sickness. Not only does Lisa do acupuncture for fertility but also for morning sickness, I tried everything to help with the sickness and acupuncture worked the best. I now have a beautiful baby girl and Lisa still sends messages asking how things are going and giving great advise for me and the baby. I went to Lisa for acupuncture after trying to conceive for over a year. She was very detailed and empathetic each time I met her and is genuinely concerned about the wellbeing of her patients. Lisa Grant, OMD helped me achieve pregnancy naturally in a little over 3 months. I am a heart patient who suffered cardiac arrest in my early 20s and doctors thought the lack of blood flow essentially left my right ovary useless. Prior to seeing Lisa, my husband and I spent a year after getting married trying to get pregnant. We finally did, only to find out the embryo implanted near my only working left ovary. We were devastated not only for the loss but the fear my chances of conceiving were over. Luckily my left tube and ovary were saved but we endured another year of infertility and failed fertility treatments. I know that anyone woman out there suffering from infertility knows, you have point where you feel like you can’t do it anymore, I was there. Don’t give up, step back and listen to what your body needs. I took a break from fertility for me. My body was riddled with hormones, emotionally drained and I needed to get healthy. I reached out to Lisa and from the first phone call, I knew she was a perfect fit. We set up a plan to give Accupuncture and lifestyle changes at least 90 days. I wasn’t expecting to get pregnant naturally, we figured after 90 days my body would be ready and my egg quality improved for one last shot at IVF. We planned to start IVF in March and I got pregnant naturally on Valentine’s Day. My husband and I both know I wouldn’t be pregnant right now without the help of Lisa! We are forever grateful for our chance to have a child and are expecting a healthy baby boy!

We met Dr. Grant after 2 years of trying to conceive; one on our own and a year with a local reproductive endocrinologist (RE). After 8 intense months of injections, ultrasounds, countless lab draws, and 3 failed IUIs, we were desperate for a break. IVF was the next step and we were not ready for that. Not a week after the third failed IUI, my mom forwarded me Dr. Grant’s information. We were able to meet her within the month due to a cancellation and started her recommended changes. At that point, we were tired but willing to make the lifestyle changes she recommended as well as let go of the stress of the past 2 years. After speaking with Dr. Grant we were reassured. She was able to explain exactly what was happening with my cycle and how certain changes can get us back on track. I was glad to meet her at that point in our journey as the stress level was beyond what I would ever imagine and she was willing to tackle it. I felt I handed over all my worries and allowed her treatments to manage our stress. (I was willing to do anything to lessen our stress level and if we could just do that, even without getting pregnant, I would’ve been happy.) I also felt she tailored our treatment plan especially for us – it does not feel like you’re cattle in a factory just being pushed along like at the RE specialist. From the get go, we set goals together – we wanted to do everything as naturally as possible and it finally felt like someone was on our side. We wanted a game plan and she asked us to give her 3 months. If, with all the changes, we could not get pregnant on our own, she had 2 other fertility specialists she recommended, and suggested we try IUI one more time before IVF. I liked that we had a plan A as well as a plan B. Dr. Grant is really passionate about acupuncture and a holistic approach which we appreciated so much after al my body had been through. We loved that she was able to combine Eastern and Western medicine. We felt we had the best of both worlds with her. About 6 weeks after our first treatment, we got a big fat positive. Now, we’ve been down this road before and I nervously texted Dr. Grant when we saw the test. True to form, she had a plan. Because my OB would not do a pregnancy confirmation visit until 8-10 weeks, Dr. Grant would monitor me every 2 weeks until we had a confirmed heartbeat. She was also able to order a couple of HCGs to confirm doubling time and ensure our little baby was growing appropriately. While our PRE-pregnancy journey with her was short, it was her presence during those first 8 weeks when our secret was shared by only 3 people that made all the difference. With each visit, she reassured me the baby was doing well, helped me manage the awful first trimester symptoms like nausea and fatigue, and was an endless resource for food suggestions and symptoms management. I wish everyone would have Dr. Grant available to them during that long wait. Once we got a confirmed heartbeat, I continued to see Dr. Grant every month. She’s also continuing to help manage my gestational diabetes and has been such a support during this time. I would 1000% recommend Dr. Grant to anyone struggling with infertility. She pulled us out of a dark hole and cannot thank her enough for helping us.

I've been seeing Dr. Lisa Mathews of Spring Mountains Acupuncture for about 2 months and she has changed my life! I first called her in the spring of 2014 when I was suffering from ulcerative colitis... and I mean SUFFERING. Never have I experienced such pain, shock, and trauma. I didn't know where to turn. I had been in and out of doctors offices, both eastern and western, and was struggling to find my treatment. Dr. Mathews was, unfortunately, booked solid for a few months and couldn't see me. However, she spent close to an hour on the phone with me, treating me with care and attention that no other doctor had given me. I just knew that she was brought into my life for a reason. I happily joined her waiting list. I continued to see other doctors and an acupuncturist, until my number was called. My first session was miraculous. I don't mean to sound overly dramatic, but you know when you just connect with someone? This connection came at the right time. I was in so much pain physically, and it completely drained me mentally as well. I felt like I was diving down a mysterious, dark whole, and no one knew how to help. Moments into that first session with Dr. Mathews, I knew I was in the right hands. She was genuinely attentive and really cared about my well being. I felt like her only patient, she was fully in the moment with me. I've seen her several times since that first meeting (and so has my wife) and have immeasurably improved my health, strength, and vitality! My lady Bonnie hurt her back a few weeks ago and had a history of sciatic nerve issues. We read all the great reviews here on Google and gave Lisa a try. Lisa provided instant relief to Bonnie's pain in the following two weeks. What's even more incredible about Lisa is that she recommended us a chiropractor that is not a "pop & crack" type to help relieve Bonnie's back pain even more. Lisa is honest, straight forward, HELPFUL, and kind. We highly recommend her if you are in pain because if she can't relieve the source of your pain, she will point you in the right direction even if it means she "loses" a patient. That's what a real doctor should do: Heal the cause, not treat the symptoms. Lisa is a real doctor and we are very thankful for what she has done for us. We would give her 10 stars if we could. Lisa Grant is an angel. She has helped me so much during my fertility journey. I'm so grateful I have had the chance to be her patient. After an unsuccessful egg freezing cycle, I contacted her and she spent an hour with me on the phone discussing the specific things I needed to do to improve my fertility, like for example, foods to eat, supplements to take, and what not to do (like hot yoga). Since I have recently moved to LA I have been looking for an acupuncturist. And to be honest, I haven't found an acupuncturist better than Lisa. I'm seriously considering driving out to Vegas to see her. She's that good. Las Vegas is very lucky to have her. Lisa is the best. First of all, she is an excellent communicator and she is very knowledgeable. She speaks clearly. She explains things well. Secondly, she does a whole fertility seminar where she explains the principles of acupuncture and things that can be done to nourish the body for fertility. She has like this book she's written going over her 90-day program. And then, she does the custom herb formulas. She has four different formulas depending on what part of my cycle I'm on. I haven't found another acupuncturist that does that. Somehow those Chinese herbs are helping a lot. She also is very knowledgeable about thyroid hormone and how that effects fertility, AMH, FSH, estrogen, and testosterone. She checked my bloodwork to make sure that my hormones aren't totally out of whack, which they were when I first came to see her. Since then, she put me on a liver cleanse. I’d say she’s amazing, but that’s an understatement. She really is an angel. I feel very lucky that I met her. As I said before, I haven't been able to find an acupuncturist in LA that is comparable to her. I feel blessed to have worked with her. Thank you Lisa! You are the best!

I have many complicated immune issues that make me difficult to treat; including MCAS, autoimmune disorders, and multiple food allergies.. most practitioners don't know what to do with me, but Lisa actually has some experience with this, and has been very helpful over the past 3 or so years I've been seeing her. I've found her to be honest and caring beyond what I normally expect from even the best medical practioners (all kinds) I've been to, and there have been many over the years. I highly recommend.

Well first off I've been suffering for over half my life... 17 years to be exact. I suffered those 17 years from debilitating migraines, they would last 2 days some times and always accompanied by vomiting. I also suffered from horrible, "take me to the er" type cramps every month. I've been going to Dr. Mathews for about a month now and have to say I'm an idiot. A total idiot for letting my nerves about acupuncture keep me from truly healing my issues for soooooooo long. I've successfully had a cycle without any anti inflamitory meds (I used to go above max daily dose just to function) and feel so amazing when I am getting worked on and so zenned out for the rest of the day! So if your asking me if you should try acupuncture? My answer is $&@* yes! And if your asking about Dr. Mathews... There's just no question she is the one. She takes so much care and learns so much about you, your being, and what you need to accomplish and heal. Anyways I couldn't say enough kind things about her and her practices. Ahmazing.
