I took my first Vinyasa class here and it was amazing, a perfect start to my weekend. Thank you Chelsi for such a great class, I will definitely be coming back!

This studio has a great range of classes and instructors. I highly recommend any class led by Natalia and/or Emily’s 90-minute hot yoga class. Don’t forget your water and towels.

SweatBox Yoga is the first yoga place I encountered in Seattle and it is the only one I needed (until I moved away again!). Immediately I felt at home, with a wonderful and vibrant community. The instructors are all incredible and super knowledgeable. Definitely a place to sweat, grow yourself, connect with like-minded people.

This is an excellent studio and an example of a small business owner working hard to maintain a solid yoga community in tough times.
Different teachers offer a variety of styles and some unique flows in addition to more traditional Bikram. All of them are focused on cultivating a yoga practice that goes beyond a physical workout - perhaps that’s a turn off for some, but I’d argue it’s a major virtue here.
But honestly what I find most impressive is the commitment to community health - at the start of the pandemic, the owner installed a fancy new air circulation and disinfection system (its UV I think). Plus they’re really clear and communicative about vaccine requirements, contact tracing, and masking - it’s also why teachers are working from the back of the room and avoiding physical contact at the moment. Im as frustrated as anyone that we’re still stuck in a pandemic, but here we are. I’m just grateful that this studio is actively working to provide a safe community environment because I honestly don’t think I would feel comfortable returning to in-person otherwise.

Love the Sweatbox! Such a welcoming and authentic space. The instructors and owner are all amazing. They make everyone feel welcome and safe while practicing. My favorite yoga studio in Seattle!

So I almost didn’t go after reading reviews here. I’m not sure if things changed but the studio was fine. The instructor was friendly and his class was challenging (heat and masks make it exceptionally tough). None of the negative reviews I read was evidenced in my visit. Parking is a challenge but that’s everywhere on Capital Hill. I would come back.

Best yoga studio in town that cares so much about building community. I have only ever had wonderful, engaged and positive experiences with teachers. The experience follows me for the rest of my day and week and energizes me, keeps me focused, and definitely improves my mood. Sometimes if I have been gone for a couple weeks or months and drop back in, I always feel welcomed back with open arms.

The teachers are wonderful. Parvana and Frani are clear and thoughtful in their instructions and advice. The room stays hot.
If you’re new:
Arrive early - as the class fills up quickly.

I don't have a lot of other yoga experience for comparison, but I really like this place. The environment is very friendly and welcoming, and most classes have people of all abilities. The instructors are all very clear and helpful as well. I started taking classes because I bought a deal voucher, and they were totally gracious about honoring it, which has not always been my experience with those.

I think Parvanah keeps the class moving at a good pace and is really positive about each person's practice. Also, she is always good at helping the class move together and support each other even if we are at a distance. I always enjoy her classes, both in person and at a distance. She's just one of the excellent teachers at the SweatBox. Every single one has a different way of teaching, but all of them bring something that I appreciate and take with me after class. Anne H

I went to the Sweatbox for my first hot yoga class in years. The place is really clean, very toasty, the happy community feel was obvious and Frani is an amazing instructor. There was a point where she assured the class it was fine if we felt dizzy, nauseous, angry, etc.... I started laughing to myself because I felt all of them. Despite counting the minutes to the end of class I have felt energized and fantastic ever since I left class this morning.
What is really enticing are the upcoming workshops- a masters Bikram class Frani is teaching, an Inversion class and a Partners Thai Massage class taught by the lead therapist at Drift Mobile Massage, I hear he's a great LMT :)
I'm really interested in getting a pass, especially during these winter months, even though I already have a gym membership.

We stopped by here on our recent trip to Seattle. It is a beautiful Zen-like studio with great energy from both students and the teacher. The studio is equipped with bamboo-like floor. Due to our travel schedule, we rushed in without enough cash. The teacher of the time welcomed us and provided mats and towels. Highly recommended. Namaste🙏

This studio is the only bikram studio I've been to that has escaped the tendency towards a competitive vibe and harsh teachers! If you've tried bikram before and had a bad experience with a teacher who was demeaning or pressuring, try the sweatbox. There's a real community vibe and most teachers are relaxed and accommodating! You feel like pushing yourself without being pressured.

Get ready to sweat. This place place is so wonderful for getting your body stretched out and strong. The teachers are excellent at their craft and it's fun to chat before and after class. All fingers, toes, and thumbs up.

Fantastic teachers and very open, comfortable setting. Always encouraging, friendly and helpful in getting your poses just right. They also have specials for new students.

I already like doing Bikram yoga at Sweatbox, but Frani's steaming class yesterday was especially good under the circumstances. I will be back for more streaming classes.

I've been going here for almost 2 decades. The consistency as well as the the evolution of place keeps me coming back, sweat after sweat, thankful to have a place to recharge and connect inside myself and a dear community of kind, dedicated, diverse practitioners and teachers.

Love this studio! Adequate heat, clean facilities, great instructors.

The best part of this studio is the chakra portraits and terrific heat quality.

Taking a class with Reva at the Sweatbox is on top of my can't-wait-to-be-there list when I visit Seattle. Wonderful.
