I have practiced yoga for 12 years in multiple countries around the world and this is one of the best studios I have found! I took classes with Lauren and Bianca and they were both fantastic instructors. The classes were challenging yet fluid, and the transitions felt smooth and thoughtful. The studio is beautiful, spacious and with high ceilings. More importantly, Bala stays true to the yogi philosophy that yoga should be accessible. I found the cost to be reasonable and Bala also has alternative plans for those who may not be able to afford lessons.

I’m very happy to be in Bala yoga. As a new yoga student, I really enjoyed doing yoga. Having different yoga classes appeals to all yoga lovers. All the instructors I have met so far are very good and take good care of the students. Everyone is smiling, nice and peaceful environment. Definitely recommend, you won't regret it!

This is a wonderful place to practice yoga. The studio is very nice. The instructors are incredible. Each one has been world class. Everyone here has been so welcoming and friendly. The website is great and so easy to use. The only downside is that classes are always very full and sometimes overly crowded. But it’s also a testament to how good this place is.

Love the vibe and atmosphere in Bala. I really enjoy practicing the yoga with the instructor here. Before the pandemic, I purchased the annual membership and it worked out really well with me. Now I am switching to the Kirkland branch and hope I will get back to my routine again!

My boyfriend gifted me a 4 class subscription for a month. I have had a great experience so far, and have left each class feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I am a huge fan of the restorative yoga classes they offer here, especially as someone who has been out of practice for awhile. Fantastic instructors. I experienced my most challenging class here and felt revived and proud of myself afterwards. Love the spacious studio, the warm incense aroma and restroom facilities are clean and offers showers, bath products and changing rooms. This is a great place for both beginners and pros.

I was first introduced to Bala when I attended a sound bath at the Kirkland location. It was a phenomenal experience and I wanted to learn more about the bala community afterwards. I took advantage of the new student trial in Fremont and was immediately impressed by the studio, front desk staff and the instructors. It always smells lovely, is clean and folks are so friendly. There are class offerings for every level. Overall, I have really enjoyed my experience as a member so far.

I truly enjoy this studio. I’ve been to many in seattle and much prefer the community and classes at Bala Fremont. I have only taken the slow flow which is enough for me because it is in a heated room. Plus, this studio has a great selection of natural wines for sale and do monthly wine tastings! Can’t go wrong.
