Reviews of Tula Yoga & Wellness

Tula is a fantastic studio! My first class I took was actually at Linwood Park where they offer classes in the warmer months. (So excited for them to start up again!) The teachers are all so kind and offer something for people of all levels. I try to bring my family and friends as often as possible! Thanks, Tula!

I signed up for a 7 week, online course (Mondays at 6:30), called "The Men's Series". As you might have figured out; it was for guys only. I signed up because I wanted to get more into yoga, but had been intimidated by co-ed yoga in the past and the "men's only" aspect was appealing.
Our instructor was Dan and he was exceptional. Not only because of his knowledge and calm demeanor, but because he encouraged and accepted wherever we were in our yoga journey. We had some beginners and some that were more advanced; but I think it worked for all of us. I know it worked for me. I especially enjoyed our check-in at the beginning of our session. We would each talk about how we were doing and Dan would usually discuss a topic around the positive thinking and meditation aspects of yoga. Yoga apparently, is not only about the movements; it's about the mind as well. The class exceeded my expectations.

I am so glad that I decided to try Yoga. Especially with this new Zoom Class in home format. And, with Tula Soma as my starting point. I started with zero background and in just a few short weeks I am seeing a difference in movement and pain management. Dan has a quiet calm assurance and knowledge that helps lead the class and discussion. I was also happy to share a space with only men while we talked about issues that we all face safely. There could be a bit of improvement with the Zoom class Technology limiting the uses of Audio and Visual and I'm sure that will come. I look forward to continuing my learning and practice with Tula.

I started going to Tula almost two years ago! What brought me there was the welcoming studios and a wide variety of classes, but what kept me there is the amazing community. I got laid off from my corporate job in March, so I was able to go a lot more than I had before. Lucky for me I received so much support from the community not just with my yoga practice but also with my life!

Tula Yoga and Wellness is an excellent studio sure to bring you peace and balance. The instructors are top notch, knowledgeable and friendly. I have been practicing with them for a year and have never had a bad experience, or left feeling less than completely satisfied! Ann, the owner offers a wide variety of yoga styles with one that is sure to meet your practice needs today, try Tula, Soma, Slow Flow, Vinyassa, Yin, or even a boot camp work out! You are sure to find the class that meets your needs! So, round up your friends and head on over for a practice today, I am sure you will not be disappointed!

Tula is such a delightful studio, very welcoming. I love that they offer donation based classes which really seems to make this studio accessible for college students and allows me to do more classes in a week than I could if I were paying $15 or $16 per class.
They have an enormous beautiful room with a skylight for aerial classes and Ann is an especially great teacher. Anyone who is interested in pilates and body work should also be adding aerial to their repertoire, it's great core work and a super stretch for parts of your body you can't get to otherwise, not to mention helping you grown in your yoga practice by giving you the chance to do difficult poses with the assistance of the aerial sling. And there's just nothing better than Savasana in the sling. Delight.
Finally, they have such a huge variety of classes and so many times that there seems to be something for everyone!

By far One of the best yoga establishments in town. Super awesome environment to learn and practice. They have some amazing art hanging on the walls as well. If you’re not located near this place it’s definitely worth the trip over for a class.

A great studio that makes health and wellness accessible for everyone. Love the studio spaces and have had some great instructors. Love the wide variety of classes. Classes are donation based admission and worth every penny you can give.

Very welcoming staff, very spacious, excellent instruction. A very loving kind community. Being donation based is great. I always give as much as I can afford and don't feel guilty even if it's just 5$, which is the minimum.
This studio has me back into my practice again.
