Jeff is a trained Isha Hatha yoga teacher. He spend 5+ months training in India which is amazing. So far I have been able learn yogasanas, surya kriya, and bhuta shuddhi with Jeff. He is very passionate and involved when transmitting this knowledge. Jeff is always willing to help and checks in frequently to make sure I have everything I need. I highly recommend talking to Jeff and he will suggest the best practices according to your current needs.

I wasn't sure what to expect going into the experience having never done yoga. I was open and excited to learn something new. After 3 days in a row things started to come together. I never realized how beneficial this practice would be to my overall health and wellness. It's helped me with mobility and flexibility but also helped me to practice mindfulness and still my thoughts. Jeff is an expert and absolutely elite in his training ability. I learnt Surya Kriya about a month ago from Jeff. The flexibility and balance it has brought to me is tremendous. Jeff made sure he provided me the right ambience and instructions. He corrected each and every posture with care. Also, Jeff was always in touch after the program to check my progress and was very happy to answer questions if any . I have been doing hatha yoga for about 5 years now. I had not had a correction session in over three years. I found out that Jeff was the Isha Teacher for the Minneapolis area in July 2022. I reached out to Jeff and he responded very promptly and told me he would be available whenever I needed. I live about two hours away from the cities and dont go there very often, unless when I have meetings. This past wk I found out I had to go there for meetings and I reached out to Jeff in a very short notice. He was so amazing and was able to work around my schedule to make sure I got the corrections I needed. We planed for a two hour session, but his guidance was so insightful that the correction session went over three hours. It has been a few days now after this session and I already feel how much deeper the practice has become. I am amazed at how Jeff was able to patiently sit there and watch and check for all minute details of what I was doing wrong and then inform me for how to make the changes needed. I think Minnesota is very blessed to have Jeff as an Isha Teacher and I very strongly recommend Jeff for any one who is thinking about starting their journey for inner discovery!

I found Jeff on Google and decided to work with him based on numerous glowing reviews. I'm so glad I did. The reviews were right on point. I knew nothing of Isha Hatha or Surya Kriya prior to meeting Jeff. I was a little hesitant because I am 51 years old and the extent of my physical activity for the past 5 years has been daily walks. Jeff's approach is to "meet you where you are at" physically. He was patient, kind and able to offer modifications when needed. The daily practice of Surya Kriya has become something I look forwad to. I feel at once more calm and energized. I cannot thank Jeff enough for sharing his knowledge and the gift of Isha Hatha yoga.

The two-day intensive yoga seminar I was able to take under Jeff's guidance was an excellent experience! His direction was effective, professional, realistic, and compassionate. The classes and choreography are well-designed and achievable...even for a relative beginner like myself. The flow, poses, and exercises taught have become a regular part of my morning, and I'm grateful to have this practice accessible independently of a class setting...I just clear some space in my living room (or hotel if I'm on the road) and rock it out! Jeff is a fantastic teacher that any aspiring yoga practitioner would be fortunate to have. He's my former boss, and when he invited to sign up for one of his yoga classes I knew it would be a worthwhile experience. As both a teacher and a boss, he takes the time to learn each individual's needs and preferences, and he explains things in a friendly and informative manner. His knowledge of yoga is extensive, as he spent a number of months learning and practicing at an intensive program in India. I would highly recommend anyone to take his class!

Jeff is a fantastic Yoga teacher. He taught my 9 year old daughter beginner yoga practises and me and my wife advanced yoga practise. The best part was that he taught them both really well. Our daughter thoroughly enjoyed learning yoga. His knowledge of yoga practises is commendable and the best part is he knows how to relate to all age groups. Jeff is a wonderful yoga instructor! He is very detail oriented and meticulous when it comes to you getting the right positions and postures, in a good way. He is punctual and prices are fair. I can't recommend the Isha Hatha Yoga program enough. It has transformed my life in so many ways. If you live in the twin cities, learn an Isha program or two from Jeff and you can transform your life as well! But don't expect overnight results. Be consistent with the practice and it will happen!

The Isha Hatha yoga teachers are an extension of the organisation that work towards spreading Sadhguru's work outside the center, while maintaining the sancitity of the processes being offered. Jeff is definitely a prime example. Learning Surya Kriya from Jeff did not feel any different from learning a program at the Isha center. Jeff took immaculate care in making sure the ambiance was set for us to receive the process in the best possible way.

I feel so blessed that I was able to go through the experience of a complete Isha Hatha Yoga program series with Jeff. These practices are so powerful and with Jeff's knowledge, support, and commitment to yoga and his clients, I was able to surpass my conditioned limits with much more grace then had I been on my own. Jeff prepares himself with his own practice each morning so he can be at his best to transmit the practices to you. I can't help but feel that Jeff is doing so much more for us under the surface of what we may initially perceive. Classes are smooth, organized, and set up so they are easily followed and retained. When I was looking for a Isha hata yoga teacher, I was so excited to find Jeff close to my place. Due to COVID situation, I was hesitant to take up a group class at his yoga studio. But he was so humble and passionate about teaching yoga that he agreed to take one on one class that too at my place. I was really moved by his gesture. I took Surya Kriya course and the experience was amazing. It was meditative and felt so much beyond just physical exercise. It made such a big impact on me that I rarely missed the practice till date. I highly recommend his service if you are interested in learning yoga in its purest and classical form.

I highly recommend Jeff's hatha yoga teachings. He is a serious, experienced, conscientious, and astute instructor with a wealth of training and teaching know-how. The yoga practices offered by Jeff are different from common North American studio offerings in that they are serious take-home, DIY classical Hatha practices that one must stick to on a daily basis for real understanding and maximum benefit. In this, they're different from ongoing/week instructor-led studio-type classes. The practices are offered by Isha Foundation, the nonprofit of yogi and mystic Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev. (Definitely check him out on YouTube before you take any classes with Jeff, in case you're not familiar). The practices are exacting and detail-rich -- all Isha Yoga teachers undergo 5 months of intensive (and I mean intensive) training in order to teach the practices they offer, and they are entirely upon the student to continue them once one has learned them! Don't take one of these classes lightly. That being said, the benefits are tremendous. I learned Angamardana from Jeff and it's had an incredible effect on my strength, flexibility, and energy levels, and I even have fun doing it. Check out Isha's site to learn about the various hatha practices offered before you pick one. My only qualm with Jeff is that he lives 4 hours away from me! Take advantage of him if you're lucky enough to be close to his yoga offerings.

Jeff helped my daughter learn Angamardana a few weeks before she started high school. The first month of high school has been physically and emotionally challenging for her. The workshop that I participated in recently completely changed my life. As a young person struggling with scoliosis and unrelenting chronic tension and pain in my back and neck and consistent inflammation throughout my entire body now for about a decade, I have felt existentially hopeless and drained from the constant and unforgiving battle on a daily basis to just feel “OK.” When I signed up for the workshop, I had high hopes but realistic expectations. I have spent thousands of dollars on body work, stretch therapy, physical therapy, and conventional yoga classes to find some relief, however, always met with very temporary or no relief. After the first day of the workshop, I felt tangible relief to the degree that I was speechless. I honestly couldn’t possibly fathom that I would ever have a single day again in my life, feeling so light, pain and tension free, energized and physically and emotionally cohesive. After the second day, I left feeling like I had a completely different body.. the body I always dreamed of having again—one that felt good and pain and tension free. Several days later—the best days of my life—I still can’t believe what a different human and life I now am able to lead. Transformed in so many profound ways, I have continued the practice daily and use the tools shared by Jeff to now live a whole life again, pain and tension free. Unbelievable. I cannot speak highly enough for the gift that Jeff has shared. This is extremely personal for me and completely changed my life in ways I never imagined were possible.
