MAE did our master bathroom remodel, and we can’t be happier!! The professionalism, while being personable, was demonstrated daily. From the planning and designing to the final polishing of the shower doors, we felt our home was respected. They listened not only to our concerns in designing the room, they also listen daily and kept us informed. It is amazing how great our bathroom works and functions for our needs. We would not hesitate to use them again for future remodeling; their bid was not necessarily the cheapest, but it was a fair price for quality materials and excellent workmanship! Their willingness to make sure everything was perfect was demonstrated when they found a small crack in one of the panels. We couldn’t see it, and they could have just “let it go,” but they didn’t. Replacing that panel meant Joey Schurtz driving 8 hours (4 one way) in snow and cold to get a new panel. They felt that the cold may have caused the small crack, so they brought in heaters to our garage to keep the panel warm while cutting it. This is just one example of their integrity. I say panel, because they used onyx for our remodel. I had originally thought I wanted tile until I decided I didn’t want to scrub grout! I now have the sleekest shower in town. The onyx is so easy to clean! I tried to post pictures, but I couldn’t get them to attach! We love our bathroom now and our MAE guys!!

Had old tub removed and walk-in shower installed and it turned out beautifully! Seth Lewis our salesman was very professional and helpful through all the steps. Chad and Eva were the team that did the install and as you can see they did amazing work! Highly recommend this company!

Have you ever gotten the feeling that customer service as we used to know it has gone extinct, and the customer is treated more as some sort of inconvenience? I have. Then you work with companies like MAE and have to change your tune, at least for awhile. I’ve never had any major home repairs through contractors and was somewhat clueless on several minor details, leading to endless questions from early morning to late evening for a week on my siding repairs. Responsiveness is an understatement. Fair, straightforward, knew what needed to be done without aggressively trying to oversell what didn’t and most recently did not want to be called out individually in a customer’s review because a successful job is a team effort. Not surprising from this type of work ethic. After inspecting my house, I had an initial estimate the following morning. And worth mentioning that I’d requested three contractor estimates on the same day. The other two followed up with me to schedule a visit a week after I had signed with MAE. Overall team effort: very satisfied. Sales: still can’t believe this happened in 2022. Thanks, everyone! Get in, get out, get it done, make a profit, gain a new loyal customer.

This was an excellent experience from start to finish. We had our entire bathroom remodeled and the counter in a second bathroom replaced. The products, service, and superior honesty was excellent. They were courteous, clean, and did excellent work. It was as if they were personal "friends" during the entire job. They truly cared about my home and my satisfaction. I felt very comfortable with them in my home and was impressed with how they continuously asked me my opinion and allowed me to inspect the job at every step in the process. Jeff Moses is friendly, informative, not overly pushy to sell windows and is definitely confident in what he has to offer. They windows are custom which took a while to be processed, created, delivered and finally installed. That said, I definitely got what I paid for. They are NOT cheap but oh my gosh are they beautiful. The installer they had come out was definitely detail oriented and I felt 100% taken care of. Thank you team MAE. You are all amazing (from the office staff to the final installation). P.S. Look at some of the detail put into the window installation (see pictures). This is only 1 of 7 installed windows. This one, however, was an installation where a window hadn't existed at all.

Needed my ceiling hole patched. Jim Hodges of Mid America Exteriors came out to give me a quote I like. Good workmanship and trustworthy employee keeping me informed on the work he was doing. Repairing and updating the Soffit and Fascia around the house. MAE employees did a good job bring new life to and old home. I'll call on MAE again when I need exterior work done.

I chose MAE because they are a local company and we are practically neighbors. Due to the age of my house, I liked the "all inclusive" nature of their bid - they were going to take care of any wood framing that needed to be replaced, as well as the decorative crown moulding above the door. I don't think I'll be using them again. It took 2 months and 26 days from the time I signed the contract, until a single door was installed. Estimated delivery dates were pushed back 3 times. If I hadn't been persistent in calling, I would probably still be waiting - the door had been delivered but they hadn't bothered reaching out to schedule an install. On the day of the install, I called to confirm schedule and was told the estimated time had moved from 9-10 to 10:30. I moved around my work meetings to accommodate this and opted to go into the office for a couple hours, only to have the coordinator call at 9:45 saying they were at my house. Well thanks, I guess we should have stuck to the original 9-10 and I would have stayed home. I suspect that the job was probably smaller than most that they do (I had originally been considering doing all 3 doors), and I feel like I was not a high priority as a result. From a business perspective, I can understand not wanting to spend a lot of time and resources on a (relatively) unprofitable customer, but if that's the case, just tell me and I will take my business elsewhere. The bidders and installers were very friendly and knowledgeable. I think the install looks very clean, except that the frame was shimmed significantly (100 year old house, nothing is perfectly even) and then not filled in at the bottom under the door frame. As a result, there is a half inch gap on one side, between the bottom of the door frame and the foundation, through which I can look straight outside. I guess I'll be figuring out how to fill that gap now. In summary, use Mid America Exteriors if you enjoy having to check on the status of your order every time they miss their delivery date estimate, and want to do the finishing work yourself. If you'd prefer that someone else manage all that, pay less and go elsewhere.

MAE replaced our kitchen, and all bedroom windows and installed a new shower remodel. The bathroom remodel came with many delays and obstacles, because of wrong measurements. Joey came out, took care of all the frustrations, headaches, heard our side and handled the situation well. He was very professional and took care of the issues to our satisfaction. He got the project back on track and we are happy with the outcome. Joey is a credit to MAE. The crews were nice and cleaned up well afterwards. Very happy and pleased with the finished project. We had 3 different bids for our new walk-in shower. We chose Mid America Exteriors, because Troy made us feel comfortable during his visit, he really knows the process of how it would be done and that the materials they use are outstanding. The construction crew were on time each day they worked nonstop and in a polite and professional way. We have a very small bathroom and let’s just say it was very difficult to work in such a confined area this crew did it gracefully and with out any complaints. The flooring guys had to remove old carpet and underneath that was linoleum that had been nailed down by previous owners, the crew worked hard to get floors cleaned before installing new flooring and all with out complaining. So our experience was wonderful we are so happy we Chose Mid America Exteriors, to do our walk-in shower and flooring.

MAE treated us so well! We needed a few storm windows replaced in our older house, plus an attic window that needed to be rebuilt. Not a huge job but they treated us like it was just as important as a major installation. The attic window needed special attention, and they took the time to do it just right. The sales rep offered us valuable direction in replacing a broken window pane, and that tiny bit of advice saved us time and money.

I approached Seth in a Quik Trip parking lot asking if he was the salesman for Mid America. I explained to him that we were having difficulty getting a contractor to a single window at my daughter's house. He gave me his card and told me to call the office to schedule an appointment. He said he could not guarantee they would do it but he would surely look at it. The scheduled appointment time arrived and and Seth was right on time. When finished at my daughter's house, my wife and I invited Seth to our own home to quote windows for us as well. Our bid was received quickly and we agreed to have the job done. Now we just have to wait 3 to 4 months lol. All in all our experience with Mid America has been great.

Very professional, exceptional quality, excellent workmanship, reasonable prices. The sales representative, Kyle, was patient, honest, and explained the product and installation process well. We replaced all our windows and interior trim, including a large custom window that others could not replicate or were extremely expensive. MAE provides quality products and installation at a competitive price. It won't be the cheapest, but the value is exceptional. We returned to them recently for siding installation for our soffits and gutters. Again, excellent! Their installers are skilled and take care for your property as though it were their own.

So far we have had windows, a sliding glass door, and siding replaced by MAE. We have had nothing but great results working with them on our home improvement projects. Their sales rep is friendly, and not pushy, he doesn't try to up sale you into things you did not ask for or need. He showed up on time and gave great support after each installation. On our first job hidden damage was found. The additional cost to fix this unexpected damage was minimal. Their workman are nothing short of craftsman and I am very satisfied with the results. We have referred MAE to relatives and friends and they have also been very happy with their work they had performed. I can also say their window and door products are of high quality with a number of options available we could not find with other contractors. They also did a fantastic job matching our real oak trim in our home, something I also think you would not find with many contractors. In summation the are not the cheapest or the most expensive, but the value for the work performed is perfect.

Mid America Exteriors installed windows and patio door January 2018. On a rating of 1 to 5, I give them a 6. Ask for Kyle. His knowledge, fair pricing, and integrity convinced me to proceed. He also has a good eye for color/design. You want to do it right the first time! (His touch of humor is free.) As planned and on schedule, Mike and Dave did the work. These guys are expert craftsmen and have been with MAE for many years. I felt quite comfortable with them in and around the house. The final outcome was beyond my expectation! The dramatic change took less than 4 days for 15 windows and patio door. I couldn't be happier!

The guys that came to my house were the nicest guys. My windows were not easy to get out. My house was built in 1966 so the windows were metal frames. The men knew just what to do. They did not tear things up. It took them one day to put them in. Since my windows were hard to get out they came the next day and finished up. I am very happy with my windows. The installation was not stressful for me. I have an elderly father in the house and they worked real well with him. I am very happy with the experience. I will use them again most definitely. James is my go to for anything that arises with our 1960’s home. So far, we’ve had help with our gutters and siding with plans to extend on the work as we can afford. James has been the best at helping us first time homeowners prioritize projects as we build a realistic plan in maintaining our home. We will keep working with him and MAE as we get through our current five year plan on updating all exterior work. Totally recommend!

From beginning to end or project was easy and enjoyable. Some situations came up however it was beyond MAE's control. When addressed they were very easy and accommodating to work with. Could not ask for a better experience. Beside windows they also did our siding. Everyone that touched our job was professional and customer user friendly. The different levels of management that showed an interest in our satisfaction restored my faith that there is still companies that believe in customer service. We will differently hire MAE for any future jobs.

I expected the siding to take awhile to install. Not with Travis. He was done with everything in 6 days. The quality of the install is great. The final product looks awesome. Sales mislead us on installation with losing inside window sill. Also one window had 1" gap around it that had to be cover with foam and vinyl strip on inside and several windows, the latch screws from manufacture had the heads rounded out. Also had extra $1300 tacked on to bill that was later removed. Windows themselves seem to be fine but don't match Pella or RBA in my opinion. Thought highly of installation crew.

It is a shame we can only give five stars. MAE installed our windows years ago and we saw a big difference in our utility charges, they dropped, substantially. Since the installation (again, years ago) we have had a couple of windows "fog" up for varying reasons; sure enough, MAE came out and replaced them at no charge. We were so thrilled with MAE, we had our home resided last year. The product, quality and service were second to none. The transformation of our home was such that neighbors walking by commented on how nice our home looks. It also added about 25K in value to the home. I have no bothers of scraping, chipping and painting the house ever again. The soffits look beautiful and the replacement windows in the basement was the finishing touch. There are many companies to choose from; from some guy who is in need of new dentures who wants you to call "nowwwww" to a couple who tell you their windows are the best. You wnat cheap then by all means go with them, you want quality product and service, MAE is the only place to shop.

We are very pleased with MAE. Last fall they did some work for us because of water leaking in to our daughter's room through outlet and our builder grade windows. Drywall and windows were replaced. 6+ months later, our windows are great, but water was again leaking in through wall/outlet. I was so upset. We called MAE and they came out the next day. A faulty board on the outside of house was causing the leak that should have been replaced previously. Not only did they cover it under the warranty, they replaced the board and a section of drywall THAT DAY. Couldn't be more pleased with Kyle and the team at MAE. Thank you for making a huge source of stress a lot more manageable.

Judd was a nice enough guy. He was straight forward and to the point with the estimate that we asked for. We felt that some of our requests weren't heard or were just overlooked. He seemed to want to sell us the most expensive items. Which in our situation that's not what we need or want. We also told him that certain areas we weren't ready to address. He went ahead and added thos to our quote. Just little things that would have given that extra star.

I have windows by them and was pleased with the transaction and installiation. I am very dissapointed with the follow up, I ahve a window the track broke and a screen that need to be replaced, I ahve been calling and keep getting the run around. I have been trying since July of 2013, in October of 2014 I called and mentioned I would like two more windows and the ongoing issue, finely someone came out took the bad track and also measurements. It is now January of 2015 and still no resolve. Im quite disgusted.
