The installation crew was laser focused on their job to replace 12 old single pane windows with new energy efficient double pane windows. Very Good experience from the beginning process meeting with the representative to the end of the installation of the windows. They didn't try to sell me any other product, only what I was interested in, which was windows. We purchased 22 new windows for our old farmhouse home. I would recommend this company. They work with you to make the process easy and work within your budget. They assign you a customer care representative to keep you informed about the preparation of your windows and answer any questions you may have. Once our windows were ready to be installed, I was notified by my customer care rep and provided a date for the installation. The installation mechanics arrived as scheduled and completed the the install by nightfall. The customer service was excellent. The windows were installed a week before Dec 25th. That was a great treat. Now that the windows are installed, we can tell a big difference in the temperature of the house and we can lower use of electricity to stay warm. The windows look no nice from the road especially when you drive down the driveway toward the house. I say 🙌🏾 high five to Window Nation😊. The installation mechanics made sure to clean up behind themselves.

I felt like I was working with a used car salesman. Talked a good game and left us wondering if everything that was told to use was true. NOPE! Not everything was true. The rep took 66% off the initial price to get the sale. The installers were contractors and the tech measured the windows once, not 30 times like we was told. We was also told there is special on doors in the winter. Customer service said there was no such deal. Which is true? I also wonder if the rep uses the same line of getting a discount if 100 windows are sold in a day. On a good note, the windows were installed about 45 days sooner then quoted. The installers were a good team and installed 16 windows in 5hrs. Definitely do your research into picking the right company.

The group of guys that came were very professional and courteous. Just a great group of guys that worked well together. they were very knowledgeable in their work. They removed and replaced 14 windows and went out for lumber to build out our one window sill and still had everything finished and even cleaned up in less than 7 hours. I'd definitely recommend Window Nation to anyone looking for window replacements. We already see the difference in keeping our home cool and blocks out a lot of the traffic sound. We used this company twice in 5 years to replace all our old windows and couldn’t be happier! From start to finish (3months total for custom order, delivery and installation) they were great to work with and did all window replacements in one day. The main installer even cleaned up all the trash and materials that we did not have to do anything afterwards. They weren’t the cheapest but the total experience was worth it. The house is warmer, looks great and I’m happy with my purchase from window nation.

I asked for extra foam insulation to be added to the interior of the windows. Technician assured me that it would be taken care of. However, with me sitting there watching, the windows were completed with no additional foam applied. My main concern with our old windows was that fact that they were extremely drafty being they were 26 years old. With the $$ invested in the new windows I wanted to ensure that we wouldn't have the the same issues. In addition, one of the installers requested to use our bathroom which of course I said "absolutely". However, he urinated all over the seat and didn't flush the toilet. The windows look great and we do notice a difference in both the astetics and comfort factors. I just wish that my request for additional foam insulation was heard and completed and even more importantly that my home was treated more respectful with regards to my bathroom. Preceding all of this, when I first contacted Window Nation and completed the necessary photos for sizing I waited for approximately four weeks without hearing a word from anyone despite repeated calls and messages. It wasn't until I physically went to a Window Nation office, near my office, that I was able to actually get the ball rolling. Looking back, I should have gone with another company. A lot more disappointed than I originally thought.

We were expecting a very long install time, but instead the job was done in about 8 hours, which included clean-up and hauling away our old windows. The salesperson who came home for the first time was very kind, but it took too much time to work next. I signed a contract in August, and the window replacement was made in December, and they didn’t tell me when the window replacement would be after did the window measurement, so I had to call the company first and ask. That's why I was very worried that it might be a scam. In this comment, one of them said they received an email that was updated every week, and I only received two emails about whether to update the window from August to December. But on the day the window was replaced, I saw their professional work and my worried mind disappeared. They were so kind, they cleaned up their surroundings, and they kept the windows clean. The sliding door is hard to open and close, so I'll call it again soon, but I want to tell you that the whole process of running the window was great.

They caulked, sealed, sprayed the windows, cleaned them. The team was very efficient, quick and there was minimal clean up. Good experience with very knowledgeable Blaine. Will provide incentives (and willing to negotiate) to move forward with project at the time of providing a quote, so have your ducks in a row with your budget and cost landscape of mid to high range products. Edit 1: After a quick process for starting our order and measurements about a week later, a change order for hardware was needed after 6 weeks despite asking about this during our original meeting. No big deal, but was notified after reaching out that installation won't be for another month (or 3 months after signing). I totally get COVID-19 is affecting all steps in the process (increased orders due to promotion, slower everything), but communication about resetting expectations is lacking. Hoping installation goes smoothly. Edit 2: Installation was moved up earlier than expected based on the above note. Crew of 3 arrived at 930 and left after 500p. Work was excellent on an early 70s house and work areas were left in great shape. Auditor/inspector arrived early afternoon to ensure things were progressing smoothly. Overall good experience on install day.

Our first experience was with the salesperson who explained and demonstrated the windows. We were then kept updated on the progress of our order. The installation took a day and a half for 14 windows. The crew arrived early and worked all day and returned the next day to finish the caulking and cleanup. They explained the operation of the windows. We are so far pleased with them and Window Nation. After 2 years we are still happy with the windows, but customer support on the screens is poor. They will call back and take care of it, don't count on it. Just go to Walmart and get a screen to slide in the window. It works and is a lot less costly than paying for a new screen that is poorly made.

Very happy with Window Nation and our new replacement windows. Our sales rep Terry was great. He spent time explaining things, answering our questions, and helping us get a better understanding of what to expect from start to finish. The communication here was really very good, and it continued throughout the entire process after signing the contract. While we waited for the windows to be manufactured, Window Nation continually sent emails/messages with updates, keeping us up to speed on the status of our order, and projected install date(s). As our install date approached, we were reminded to remove all window curtains and shades so as to allow the installers to have unobstructed access to the windows. Our installers were Ted and Joseph. They showed up on time, and knocked out all of our windows in one day. They did a phenomenal job on the install! Each window was trimmed, foamed and caulked. It was fun to watch these professionals do their work because they make it look simple. The home was cleaned up (inside and out) before they left. To allow the caulk to dry, we delayed installing our window shades for 2 days. So would we recommend Window Nation? ABSOLUTELY!!!

Window Replacements: I could honestly not have asked for anything more than Window Nation delivered! From the initial sales meeting with Terry, who provided a very comprehensive (yet not not overly long) overview of their windows and service, all the way through installation, every step was 5 star. We had to replace all 28 original 50+ year old wooden Anderson windows in our house. Based on my research, I was expecting a $28K - $40K investment, but the price was less than I expected, plus getting a far superior window to the big box stores off-the-shelf ones. We signed up that night. Custom measurements were done within 2-3 days of that and just over 4 weeks later they were being installed, even though they advised me it would be about 6-8 weeks for the windows to be custom produced. Was also advised installation would likely take 2 days for that many windows, but their crew of 4 guys finished in one day. They started at 8:30am and finished by just after 6pm. Not only was the window installation excellent (I found absolutely no flaws in my very thorough inspection both inside and out), but they cleaned up so well behind themselves that you would never know they had even been in the house, let alone replaced every window in the house! I was expecting, as with most contractors it seems, that we would be cleaning up dirt and dust inside and picking up wood splinters and old caulk and paint chips from outside every window, but there was literally nothing left behind! Love the windows and their very easy to remove and reinstall Flex-Screen. I could not have been happier with the entire experience.

Window Nation installed 6 double hung windows. The service team arrived promptly at 8am, (as scheduled). The 1st thing they did was to lay covers over our carpet and hard wood floors. Within 10 minutes they began installing the windows. One individual did the demo work and the other did the install work. It was apparent, from my observation, that they were experienced mechanics. By 11am, the installation was complete and all debris had been removed and a cleanup of the work area was completed. The windows were exactly as ordered and we tested each one and could not find anything out of order. It was a thorough and well orchestrated job. I found that the cost of the windows including demo and installation was very competitive and felt that this window was superior to the others that we had reviewed. When buying windows, you must do your homework first before talking to sales people. My wife and I were well prepared with our questions concerning installation, material, warranties, etc as well as competitive cost data. Our experienced sales person had the right answers. Windows is a very competitive field and it pays to shop and compare. We found Window Nation came out on top.

I’m giving 4 starts because it only has passed one week since the windows were installed in our home and have not experienced yet or tested them for the winter or summer. Also, the people who installed them they did an amazing job they were very clean, efficient and professional, but honestly it bothered me the fact that they hit my ceiling and some parts of my walls as they were bringing the windows upstairs. I knew this can happened but they need to be more careful about the way they handle the windows. I know there is always room for improvement and certain things could have been avoided. The person who installed them mentioned that the windows should be fine and if there is an issue like if we experience any drafts or feel that they were not perfectly sealed we should contact the company immediately. They tested them and seemed fine. We are hopping that the windows will improve energy savings for our house. Our old windows were very very old and the condensation was terrible having this beautiful windows definitely made a day and night change. Now we can enjoy the fresh air. The only little detail is that the screen outside of the window does not close all the way on one side of the window. On one side it’s okay but as soon as I slide it to the other side to open the other window it doesn’t not connect with the window frame. I feel the screen was imperfectly done. I will be reaching out to windows nation for this. I will also add photos later.

I got what I think was a great price on the installation of ten windows; however, it took a very long time. That may be industry standard, this is the first tine I've had this done. From order to installation about 15 weeks. Once they called to say my product was in, they were out to install the next day. When inside they put down plastic to cover my floors removed the old windows and set the new windows. I recently had all windows in my home replaced by Window Nation. I have to say that the experience was truly fabulous from start to finish. First, the sales rep took a great deal of time explaining the options and was quite honest about what should be replaced and what it did not make sense to replace, which in my case were glass doors and door side windows. Second, Window Nation financed the improvement with a no interest payment plan. Third, the window replacement team arrived on time, clearly knew their job and quickly progressed from window to window, finishing the project ahead of time. Indeed, I had a carpenter in my home at the time of installation. He was working on my attic and could easily observe their work. The carpenter had begun his career in the window installation business and told me that he was very impressed … that they clearly knew exactly what they were doing and were doing it extremely well. The window nation team finished the work quickly and efficiently; cleaned up after themselves, were very polite and quite pleasant to have in the house. Shortly after the installation I received a visit by Window Nation to ensure I had no problems or complaints. I did not. The windows have kept the house far cooler in the hot summer heat and I'm certain it will keep the upstairs warmer in winter as well. I highly recommend this company for you window needs.

I did find a small problem with caulking over my outdoor shutters but followed up with them to see how to remove it without damaging the paint on the shutters. They followed up promptly. Just had my sunroom windows redone. I had 11 smaller windows that they were able to easily turn into 6 LARGE windows. Very easy initial measurements and even easier install. Only took 5 weeks from first meeting to install date!!!! Workers showed up on time, professional and worked quickly yet efficiently. The windows are BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I bought 10 windows from Window Nation. Window Nation is just a store front. Window Nation does not make or install the windows as they say in the advertisements. Vytex windows makes and installs the windows. Communicating with Vytex windows is aggravating, as the workers do not speak English. Actually one of the workers did speak English after I pressed him to answer my questions. The screens for the model window I ordered were not correct. I have been waiting 4 - weeks now for a call back from the Window Nation Salesman. I would give five stars to Vytex for the quality of the windows if I was just reviewing the windows. However I have a problem with the finishing of the install, mainly the sloppy caulk job that was done on the inside of the window. Vytex window rep said the caulking is good. Yes the caulk filled the cracks BUT it is sloppy and I have to look at every time I look out of my window.

Your salesman, Novell Kern, arrived on time for our 6:30 p. m. appointment at our residence. Novell was very courteous, and we felt comfortable with him. He was clearly very well versed in Window Nation's products. Initially, we were asking him for a quote on double pane windows with tinting. We need 12 windows. He measured some of our windows that are to be replaced He also demonstrated the window sample that will be what is installed in our home. He had other things that he demonstrated about the windows to make sure we understood clearly what product we will receive. He explained the warranty in its entirety including any exceptions. The pricing was the next item. He explained the individual window pricing, as well as the credits (buy 2 get 2)/discounts we will be receiving. Additionally, we asked Novell to give us a separate price for a replacement for our picture window and a separate price for replacement of our entrance door. He explained that the prices on these 2 items is good for a year. It was a very pleasant experience with Novell.

Lastly, the windows are not custom they are made by larger companies for WN and the installers are subcontractors and not WN employees. We ordered our windows before COVID-19 shut down everything and we kept postponing the install. We finally went for it a few weeks ago after assurances that all the installers would follow protocol and be masked and gloved. We had a large crew come in, as we had 30 windows, and Edwin and the team were absolutely fantastic and lightening fast. They arrived right on time at 9:00am, and were done with the entire project by around 4:30pm. All the cleanup were done, and the team members were extremely efficient and professional. I would recommend Window Nation anytime! We feel the difference immediately on how the temperature stays constant in the house. Earlier, our AC or heating would run continuously, as our windows were original to the house and NOT energy efficient. WN windows are of high quality and you will notice an immediate difference.

Starting with the good. I am happy with the overall quality of the windows and door that were installed. They have dramatically reduced our heating bill and it keeps my son's room a lot warmer this winter. The installation guys were great, and worked quickly and I don't have any complaints about the work quality. I had problems with my original sales rep being unresponsive and leading to rounds of multiple calls trying to get information. Unfortunately, during my door installation, they found a defect in the frame due to travel damage, so they needed to schedule another appointment. I was very upset, but I was contacted by the owner of Soft Lite and I finally felt like someone truly acknowledged the problems I had throughout my purchase experience. He was understanding and offered changes to our purchase contract that showed he actually cared about the inconvenience of my experience. I can now say that i am fully satisfied with the windows and doors and my correspondence with the upper management. The 1-star reduction is due to the problems with customer service I experienced early in the process. But overall I can recommend this company.

The consultation was a breeze and very thorough, the final measurements were easy and quick, and the installation was completed in a timely manner. Unfortunately, there was a mix up with my installation date and it was changed without my authorization. I called, just to confirm, and was told I had a different installation date with no explanation as to why it was changed. I still have not received an answer. The initial consultation was great. The sales person answered all my questions and gave a great presentation. The installation day was easy and the installers managed to get my windows in within a few hours. However, I was told I'd get a walk-through (and I believe it's included in the video they show) after all the windows were installed but... I did not get a walk through. I had to walk through, on my own, before the installers left to notice I had two issues with two windows. It was noted and is being fixed, but I still question if it would have been noted if I hadn't walked around on my own to inspect each window. Overall, I would recommend Window Nation and am happy with the job they did.

The sales rep explained everything about the windows to me when he came out, showed me the type of window I'd be getting. When the installers arrived, they immediately put down drop cloths to catch any of the mess that they made. My windows were installed in no time flat, and an excellent job was completed. Met with design consultant Kevin Villafana and signed a contract on Jan 03 to replace 7 double hung windows in our house. He was awesome. The presentation exceeded our expectations and the process was simple and easy, and the product presented was amazing. We had to make a change to our order a few days later and Kevin took care of submitting a change order that went through and we were refunded the appropriate amount on our credit card for the deposit. The final measurement specialist who came later was professional and experienced. Installation day was set for Jan 30 at 10 am, and the crew showed up at 10 am and 15 seconds (AMAZING)! The 2-man crew were rugged, and experts at their craft. It did not hurt that they were both Polish, as I am Polish American. I work from home and heard, banging, clanging, electric tools buzzing, and I was becoming nervous. Well, a few hours later, the noise stopped and they were loading up. The crew showed me my beautiful new windows and I was immensely pleased. One other thing, just the day before I had new hard wood floors installed in my house so the crew took the time to line everywhere they walked, as long as the work areas themselves, with protective tarps. They left my house as clean or cleaner then when they arrived. Sorry for this long review, but I want everyone know that Window Nation exceeded my expectations. A++ 5* rating from this home owner. The window salesman was professional and was able to get us the custom windows we required. After the purchase, communication was weak at best. I had to call several times for updates. When spending 20k plus its good to hear from the contractor on a regular basis. I understood the delays from Covid but communication could have been better. Overall the installation went well but some of the caulk work is subpar and we have one window that does not function properly. Window Nation has scheduled for the repairs to be done. Id give them a B-.

My first experience with the estimator, Robert, who came by to my apartment, was very knowledgeable, gave great advice on the choosing the right double hung windows, and friendly. I was very excited and appreciative of him. I wouldn't have choose Window Nations if I didn't meet him. Great, personable estimator. I also do not feel rushed like most estimates for contract work in a home. The reason for the 3 stars is because of the coordination for installations. When they said the windows are ready, they called and we choose a date.The first date was a Saturday morning, a nice sunny day, perfect for the work. Then a call came to ask if they could come in the afternoon instead but I only got the call after the morning was gone and after making inquiries. Then no one shows up in the afternoon with no calls to let me know. I made a lot of arrangements for the day and I thought, it is only professional to call your client if your installers could not make it. It was also really hard to get someone on the phone. The coordinator Cory apologized and said Brooke will call me to reschedule on Monday. Then Monday came and another day was scheduled of a Wednesday morning. Then they called to reschedule for 1-2pm because it was raining even though it was a very light rain in DC. I was patient but no one shows up at 2pm. I called and called. The coordinator, Brooke did not know where the installers are and said they are on the way. My apartment has working hours from 9am to 5pm so it was tight. The installers finally arrived at about 4.15pm. I believe I talked to Oscar. He came in and look at my windows and told me that the windows in his truck are not for my apartment. He was very sorry and flustered and very late. He said the warehouse gave him the wrong windows. So they left. No one from the headquarters or office called me to explain or apologized. I made some calls but was put on hold for a while. No answer. The next day, I text Cory to see if she could helped me out. She said she will ask Brooke about it and Brooke will call me back. Brooke finally called in the afternoon. She said she just found out about the incident that morning. She didn't apologized, said that sometimes installers are just late because of their last job. Someone told me that the last job has rotten wood frames, so they were very delayed. I understand but at the same time, it is a reason that got nothing to do with me. You do not make appointments and do not meet them. On top of it, they should at least call me and let me know if they are running really late. Besides, they didn't have my windows to install after arriving late. So, we scheduled another day. Brooke suggested Friday afternoon but I want a morning appointment, just in case of any similar problems. We booked a Thursday's appointment between 8.30 to 10.30am. The installers came at 9.30am. This time, I met 3 installers, the foreman is Alex. He changes everything. He is professional, warm and on track. He worked closely with my building maintenance to work out how to install from the outside too. I appreciate this. They were very good and finished by 1.15pm. The windows are really nice. I AM SUPER HAPPY WITH THE PRODUCT and the final installation, thanks to Alex and his team. But the process is very painful. I am really disappointed with the office coordinators. No one seems to take me seriously and understand why I was not happy. No one offered any compensation. I asked Robert, my initial contact. He said he will ask for me. I am disappointment that is not a decision right away that is made for your customer, like myself. There was a lot of hesitation and it feels like everyone is just trying to avoid the situation. Perhaps it is a one-off incident but Window Nation needs to have better customer service, communication, coordination in between the person who schedule the appointment and the installers. I want to be fair in this review, which is why there are still 3 stars and a concise review. I want to give credit when it is due. Great product and great installers when the scheduling is done right.

They were very careful around each house, cleaning up after themselves as the work progressed. Rory was exceptional and is certainly an asset to your company. From day one the estimator that came out to look at my home by the name of Bill Blackburn I was impressed with his knowledge his patience and the assertive answers to everything that was a concern to me. However I did have a minor flaw with the scheduling department for the final measurements however they did redeem themselves very well with the final measurement Tech and the actual window installers were very patient poised I don't think they said ten words to each other the entire time they worked and they cleaned up after themselves like they should've as professional contractors. In addition I was quoted a cheaper price by their competitors however I'm glad I decided to go with them because they did deliver the quality of work that I was expecting. Hence the expression you get what you pay for.

They made sure covers were placed wherever they were replacing windows. They cleaned up all the scraps around my house and ensured all my windows were clean. One thing that stood out to me that many may not think is a big deal but to me speaks volume of their character is that while it was pretty warm overall... it was quite windy the entire day and they would always close the door behind them when they when in and out of the house. Every door they went through - they closed it. They also cleaned up after themselves after lunch - brought a trashbag in and threw all their paper plates, napkins, cups and pizza boxes in it. I appreciate manners and respect of one's home and they certainly did. I definitely recommend Window Nation, Jorge and his crew as well.

Seventy year old windows that were unopenable have been replaced with solid, efficient, attractive windows that easily glide up and down. The product is first rate as are the sales staff and installers. On her initial visit Montina Vital spent four hours with me, reviewing all options and prices, and answering all my concerns. Yesterday, installation day, she came by to check on the installers and make sure that all was going well. The installation team was superb. They were punctual, fast and their workmanship was immaculate not a single piece of wood, cardboard or plastic material left behind. I recommend Window Nation without reservation. They followed up every step of the process and are thoroughly committed to satisfied customers, of which I am just the latest.

Full disclosure - I am a contractor and I also own a company that trains contractors on how to run their businesses. I see bad contractors everyday and try to make them good. Most contractors don't know how to run a business. Some are good craftsman, but they just don't know how to make a customer happy. From the very beginning, Window Nation did an incredible job on my home in Bethesda. The windows themselves seem to be very good quality. However, the real standout was their communication and production guys. The job was started early, so we weren't ready for them. Their guys moved everything out of the way, and made sure that nothing was damaged. The installation went without a problem. The measure guy forgot to include one of our windows which I thought was going to create a long delay. They left after the first day and came back with a new window for the garage the next day! Now that's good service. Their scheduling people called well in advance and were very professional. The installation guys did a fantastic job. All in all, I couldn't be happier with my job and overall experience with this company. While they weren't the cheapest around, they certainty seem to be the best. In contracting, you get what you pay for. This is a first class operation and they deserve the 5 star rating. Thank you for a job well done.

I brought in six companies to bid and Window Nation won the business to replace eleven windows at our home for three reasons. 1) Their initial price was on the high range of the other bidders but the sales rep (Joe) went back to his office and within hours found some promotional offers that could be applied and cut the cost down to a range that was more competitive. 2) The rep gave a very thorough presentation on the EPA process they use to contain dust and debris during installation and 3) he described in detail the steps they take during installation to insulate the windows in a way that improves efficiency. The other companies basically measured and left quotes but did not go in depth on the window itself and installation process that Window Nation did. On installation day the crew did a great job replacing eleven windows. They were professional and friendly. We are very happy.
