Joe Kelemer took the time to ask smart questions about our wants and needs before making recommendations; accurately predicted the time it would take for the windows to arrive and for the project to be completed; and, once the project was completed, he demonstrated details of the installation on the interior and exterior of our home and the new features of the windows.

First, Joe came over for a walkthrough to explain our options. He was polite, professional, and there was no pressure. I think what struck me was how promptly he responded. I had called, no answer, yet a minute later he called back while on the road. He came promptly to the house to estimate the job, gave 3 options. I had already checked with someone in the neighborhood about their work. When the window assemblies were ready, a very professional duo came and installed 9am -12 pm approx. done. Cleaned up and cleanly done job. I would recommend them and I will hopefully be using them again soon for doors.

They came in and quoted me. The quote was more affordable than other companies. They told me up front, we have to order the sliding glass doors, they are backlog. This was in March I believe. After about 3 months they installed the doors. I have to say they are really good at their craft. The one essential component during the whole process that I really appreciated was the communication aspect. Not only they told me that the doors are back ordered from the beginning, they kept me informed the whole way through. They are a small family owned business and they care about their customers. Joe and Gab are really true honest business men who are all about customer service. I would recommend these guys any day of the week.

I had a terrific experience with the Kelemer Brothers. My friend had her windows replaced a few years ago and spoke very highly of them. Joe came out right away and gave me a very detailed overview of the installation process after providing information on the windows that his company provided. I ended up getting a quote from Home Depot soon there after which was $1,000 more. I went with Joe because of the pricing but also the great customer service. No down payment was required. The windows came in a month and change later and Joe worked with me to install them at a time that was convenient for me. His workers (Vince + helper) were great, working efficiently, moving furniture and cleaning up after themselves. The windows were beautiful and Joe came by after to show me exactly how they worked and details of the great job his workers did. He also gave me a nice surprise as a thank you for business. I would highly recommend the Kelemer Brothers and confidently refer anyone to them.

We received several quotes to get all of our windows replaced (22). Everyone says they won't pressure you, but Kelemer Brothers means it. They are courteous, professional, and provide you a quote - NO PRESSURE. They answered each of my 100's of questions like I had only asked one question and it was a good one. They made my decision easy. In addition, I am really happy about the quality of the install and the windows. First, the windows came in super fast and they were able to schedule the install quickly (not weeks out). Gabriel came to the house on both days of the install and inspected everything. I thought I was super picky, but he found two things I would have missed on initial inspection (though may have noticed long after the crew was gone). He worked and made sure everything was perfect. The windows were installed quite well, they made sure to wrap the wood in a color that matched perfectly. I just cannot say enough good things about this company and the owner Gabriel. Joe and his team went above my expectations in replacing the windows in my 100-year-old house. I priced out 5 window dealers. I selected Joe because his prices were in line with three or the five dealers, he did not try to up sell or give me any pressure, and he warranties the window and the workmanship. Joe communicates well on planning for the arrival and install days. At the install, Joe was present at the beginning, in and out during the day, and at end of each day. At the end of each day he reviewed the work with me and let me know where everything stands. His team was clean and orderly--including wiping down surfaces, doors, and the bathroom. Joe's team coordinated with my contractor's carpenter (as we were changing the size of two windows). All of that was seamless. The team even edged out some of the windows where we'd changed window styles. I highly recommend the Kelemer Brothers!

I can't say enough nice things about Kelemer Brothers. We were replacing 16 windows in our Baltimore rowhouse (it has an eight-window sunroom). Joe's estimate was significantly below the other estimate we received. He carefully measured each window we planned to replace and did not attempt to upsell us on anything. I was extremely impressed and more than happy with choosing Kelemer Brothers for my Windows. How many companies today can do what they say and mean it - not many - but Kelemer (Joe) did beyond my neutral expectations. Neutral, because let’s face it in today’s quick talk sell and mediocre work and disposal society, there isn’t much to rely on. When people do show up, the work generally isn’t good quality and it’s a constant getting after them to do what they should be doing without telling them again and again. And then there’s a gold nugget.... Joe picked up on my call and responded to an Angies List message. From the moment we spoke he explained their method of business and assured me he was who I would deal with from the beginning of the process to the end. And he was right. There are no “sales” people. The “brothers” handle their own business giving it a true ownership to customer go-to for everything. Joe came by the property, measured and talked to me about the windows and lifetime warranty and how it all worked. He even had a display window to show me just what I would be buying. I was already in a time crunch after finding I needed to replace all 8 windows for this rental that I needed to get back on the market and rented. He told me to be safe with a timeframe It would be 6-8 weeks but would put a rush and possibly get them sooner. I ordered 3/25 and was not required to give a down payment. This helped me greatly since the windows were very unexpected and needed to rearrange my budget. Joe kept in touch and I only contacted him at the 3 week timeframe to check the progress. Next thing I know he was contacting me to let me know on 4/25 (a month to the day of order) his 3 installers would be at the property to install the windows. Now for the best part of the install. They showed up and got set up and covered my stairs with a drop cloth. They began removing the old windows and one of the three gentlemen would gather the remnants and put them outside. During the entire install my property was kept clean and even floor clean up throughout . This was a great team. It took approximately 4-5 hours (I lost track of time since I was doing other things). After they were done I was shown how they work by one “lead” who said Joe would be on his way to do close out. And I had already received a message from Joe just before they ended. They cleaned up and were on their way to the next job. Not one window sill, wall, door frame, floor, was damaged during this entire process. I expected at least to do some touch up painting and maybe patch some drywall - I am not kidding when I say I had to do nothing other than wipe dust from the sill. Hire this company, or more to the point , hire Joe. Because that’s what you get - a person and not just a company. When Joe arrived he had a dozen beautiful pink roses for me as a thank you to me for choosing their service. This was a great service indeed and with no pressure. I paid the amount owed and Joe also showed me how to operate the windows and we walked around to each and every window to check them out and answer questions I had about care and warranty. I told Joe I will be calling them when I able to have the kitchen sliding door replaced - I won’t be here since I don’t live near the rental property but after the care Joe took to assure the process was swift and clean, I have no qualms about calling him when the door will be replaced. I hope I have not set the bar further up too much for them but it is not too often I get to write a great review.

Windows were ordered and installed in the timeline Gabriel promised. The Crew did an outstanding job with installation and cleaned up after completion. Total install of 6 windows and French Door was done in 4 hours. I am happy with the quality and look of the new windows and door. Gabriel was very professional and the windows seem to be of good quality and good value. The installation was overall done well, but there were two issues: 1) they did not place the wiring for the external cameras where it was originally. It was originally on the top of the window and they placed it on the bottom. This is an issue as I will need to call my handyman to correct it. 2) the blinds were placed back in haste and it was messy. I have had to change some of them.

The whole process--starting from my orientational conversations with Joe and the final touches of replacing 3 sliding windows and a balcony door--was very pleasant. George and Vince worked "efficiently" with smiling faces. When Joe checked all the details of the new windows/door at the end, he said it would help to do a minor tightening on the door. It was such a minor tightening that we would not have noticed it at ail till later or maybe never had he not pointed it out. They are thorough and value our satisfaction. In terms of pricing, they are on the higher end, among the vendors we looked into, but we are very glad Kelemer Brothers worked on our windows/door. It is now a Better Home indeed. The sales experience was exceptional, straight forward with a very honest approach and without the normal "sales pitch". The windows came in exactly when they were promised and the installation team arrived exactly when Gabriel stated they would be. One of the installers, Ziggy, was very professional, polite and respectful of our home. I would suggest that Bill (the other installer with Ziggy) should not have any type of customer contact, his personality is such that it does not give the same experience as the rest of the Kelemer Brothers team does. The installation by Ziggy was neat and performed in a very timely manner reflecting a very professional job done. Phone calls are returned immediately by the "brothers" and are always polite and professional. I would have rated them 4 1/2 stars, however, it doesn't seem like you're able to rate in 1/2 stars. Joe able to look at our old windows to name what our problems had been, and work within the different shaped wooden window frames in our old home (house built in 1890), also adding insulation where possible, and sealing things tight (no more leaking window frames!) He was especially patient and helpful for us as new home-owners working through our home's CHAP (historic neighborhood) application for the first time- and the limitations the board placed on us.
