Hands down the best customer service I have had in awhile. Debbie was kind and efficient. She walked me through the process as well as made sure all aspects of my car were covered. James was quick with the repair. He called ahead of time which made it easier to schedule. Ronnie completed my calibration. Again he was quick and efficient. All three members of the company were friendly. Couldn’t recommend them more.

I love the Glass Doctor. I was able to get a home repair appointment on a Monday when I just called at 4:00 P.M. the Friday before. They are very friendly and courteous. They don't force you to buy new wiper blades. ( one place did) They even let me change the service address since it was within a few miles of the original address. I originally made the appointment for my apartment building but then I unexpectedly needed to go to my Mother's house. Well, I called the Glass Doctor and the nice lady on the phone said if it was within a few miles of the original address, it shouldn't be a problem and it wasn't. The tech called to let me know his location and his ETA. He arrived promptly and had the work finished in under the time he said. It was a beautiful job with perfect new glass and they took away the damaged piece. My insurance paid for everything. Great people, fantastic friendly service and spotless materials. Also, workmanshiphip was top notch. Highly recommend. This is my second time using Glass Doctor and they have not disappointed me. Thank you, Vicky

Reggie was great! Super polite, did a great job and gave me updates the day of my appointment on when he would arrive. My vehicle is older and I figured it would be more of a hassle but he came out here and did a great job. Also Josh was the one who helped me schedule the appointment and he was great. The service was fast even though they had to come out twice. The first installer didn't have the correct glass on his truck, first world problems obviously. The 2nd installer was kind and quick but left the window with streaks and looks awful compared to the other window that has been there since 2004. No access from inside so have to pay someone else to come back and clean the window. I think in the future we'd definetely use them but make sure that they could wipe down the window properly. Window on left is new

Amazing experience! They were scheduled to come from 8-4 pm a couple days after I booked and was told they would call me beforehand to let me know. Received a call at 7:30 that they were en route. They even arrived early and finished the job by 8:15. Very professional, reliable and prompt. Also $75 cheaper than another more popular company that I was going to use. Highly recommend.

Glass Doctor provided 6 large glass panels, one with a doggie door. What a huge difference having clear glass makes. It was well worth the money to eliminate the foggy glass. Great experience getting my windshield replaced. Technician came out to my house and replaced the glass but had issues recalibrating the forward collision system (common with my manufacturer). They offered to pay the cost of recalibration at any dealership in the area. From there, they coordinated the payment of the calibration with the dealer and were very professional throughout the entire process.

Windshield cracked 3 days before my daughter is driving back to college. Joseph was able to call my insurance company and get my free windshield replacement for my cracked windshield. I was able to get an appointment for someone to come to my home the next day to replace the galss. Joe gave me a call 30 minute before my appointment time and then was ontime the next day and did a great job accessing my Civic and replacing my windshield. He was full of knowledge and took the time to answer all my queries. These guys were great! Can't believe it was less than 24 hours from calling them and getting my windshield replaced! Awesome team.

I called the GD and they came out the very next day and took care of everything! After a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT from calling Safelite, I reached out to Glass Doctor. Thank GOD I did. I immediately got a great man on the phone, (Jake) and he handled EVERYTHING I needed to get my windshield fixed. He called my insurance, helped me set up my claim and had one of his very professional techs scheduled to come to MY HOUSE the very next day! I tried to call Safelite and it gave me a robot luckly I found the glass doctor because my truck windshield was leaking during a tropical storm they come out next day and replaced it for 300 which was a great deal out of pocket. They also Informed me it has a lifetime warranty for leaks and stress cracks. Well run business. They appreciate they're customers for sure.

As soon as I made my initial call with Debbie at Glass Doctor about replacing my broken windshield, I knew that I was dealing with a customer-centric business, and cancelled my appointment with "the other company." Debbie was quite knowledgeable, explained the entire process, and answered all my questions courteously and caringly. She also stated that they would deal with my insurance carrier directly, so that I had no out-of-pocket charges. Today, James their tech replaced the windshield. He was prompt, friendly and skillful. He didn't mind when I asked if I could watch him work, and in fact, explained each step. (There's a lot to it.) He took great care in protecting my SUV from any damage or dirt created by the process. And, in spite of my questions, completed the removal and reinstallation in about a half-hour. Amazing! Based upon my excellent experience, I would happily recommend the Glass Doctor, Debbie and James to assist you in replacing a damaged windshield.

Had an excellent experience with Glass Doctor from start to finish! Had a large crack form in the windshield of my Miata on Wednesday. I visited Glass Doctor of Tampa Bay to see what they recommend. Sarah at the front desk was very friendly and efficient, in no time everything was arranged: insurance claim and scheduled visit by a technician for Friday. The technician (Dave) who arrived on Friday was knowledgeable and fast. He knew about the challenges for my specific car in relation to windshield replacement and had a new windshield fitted within the hour! He also had many interesting stories about windshields and did not mind that I was watching all the time (and taking pictures). I know where to go next time I need a windshield replacement or repair!

In Florida, insurance pays 100% for windshield replacement - no deductible. But, thanks to all the rock haulers on my daily commute, I'd already done that about 15 months ago. I didn't want to file another claim and watch my premium go up - again. So this time I got quotes from the dealership and from Glass Doctor of Tampa Bay. Two days later my 2016 MINI Cooper Clubman had a flawless new Pilkington (OEM) windshield from Glass Doctor, same as quoted by the dealer, but at 1/3 the cost. The installer, David, was punctual, courteous, and clearly an expert. He took great care not to damage or mar anything, explaining each step of the process while he worked. He finished and was on his way less than an hour after he'd arrived. Outstanding experience! I highly recommend them.

** Be sure to ask your technician to handle your vehicle/parts with care and inspect everything before they leave** My main concern with Glass Doctor is the quality of workmanship. Their customer service and availability has been good so far. First technician managed to get glass in every crevice in the rear area of my 2019 SUV, left glass under and around my car and the seal around the window was not installed properly. GD came back out in a timely manner and cleaned up the mess and fixed the seal. Not sure if it was the 1st 2nd or 3rd tech to come out but one of them pried open the lift gate pull handle to gain access, with a screwdriver I am assuming, and there are visible pry marks. Other area seems to be dragged on the ground before reassembling. Lastly, there is some noise coming from the rear interior molding that did not exist before replacing the glass - this may not be unavoidable due to reassembly though I wouldn't know for sure and it's quite annoying.

We are extremely pleased with our new custom window from Glass Doctor! This was a quarter-round 30+ year old window with sunburst style grids that had turned milky white between the 2 glass panes. I had called a company I used previously and was told now wasn't a good time and it would be best to wait at least 3 to 4 months. So, I called Glass Doctor and presto ~ approximately 3 weeks later our new perfect window was installed. From the office staff to our estimator/installers Joel and Aaron, the experience was spectacular! Highly Recommend!

This experience was very easy. After making an insurance claim, I called Glass Doctor to schedule an appointment. They came to my office, arrived on time, and replaced my windshield. This was a an exceptionally good experience. Initially, I needed a piece of glass from Infiniti and they told me it would not be in for it indefinite period of time. At this point, I was scrambling for a piece of glass for my window. I decided to give the Glass Doctor a call based on their reviews. The manager who answered the phone was very confident that they have that piece of glass and additionally could do the install on Saturday between 10:00 and 2:00. Saturday morning arrived, and Mike from Glass Doctor arrived around 10:15. We had some issues in regards to the payment method and Mike was very patient and assured me we'd get it done and we did. The job was done very quickly and it was a very clean job. Through the entire experience, Mike was very courteous, respectful, and just an overall nice guy. I would definitely recommend Glass Doctor to anyone!

Technician was polite and professional, but he left a piece of frame mechanism off and did not replace it because he said it was broken. Said I had to call another window service to fix it. I think it was just easier for him to replace glass without it in. He took it out and he should have put it back in

I worked with glass doctor to replace a large double-paned house window. The price was good and the process was mostly hassle free. Our technicians were great and professional, and the end result looks indistinguishable from our original window. My only issue was with communication on scheduling our install. We were told we would be called when our part arrived to schedule an install. After about a month with no call, we called them and found out our part had arrived some time ago. They said someone would have to call us back that day to get the install scheduled. It ended up being another week before anyone called us back. This is not an issue with the technicians, but rather with the phone routing; it did not feel very reliable. Despite that, out of the many vendors I tried to get my glass replaced, this was the most straightforward, hassle-free, and professional company out there and I am happy with their work.

When our window broke, we called glass doctor to replace it and they came in a few days to measure the window and order the item. So they messed up our order and ordered the wrong color glass window. Instead of boarding up the window, they replaced our window (with the wrong-colored one) and ordered the correct color. It did take several months to get the product but they were very honest and forthcoming and followed up with us frequently. They were also very polite and courteous and although the situation was frustrating at first, they came through and we were ultimately happy with the outcome. I ordered a top table glass from glass doctor and after 9 days I received it but it was scratched (it was done at another vendor) and not polished so I asked them to re-order it. The staff were very nice and professional and offer me a free delivery which cost about $125 . It took about 3 weeks because they had to send it to another vender to polish the glass . Scott “the manager” explained to me that The glass that I order was a cut glass and not a polished glass thus they had to send it to a third vendor and if I did order a polished glass it would have cost me more. In the nutshell, glass doctor and all its staff didn’t charge me anything extra and it was delivered to my house same day they got it. Great job and I appreciate everything you have done. The top table glass is beautiful and the wife is happy.

I recently had to replace my driver side window and utilized Glass Doctor of Tampa Bay. The entire process was easy from start to finish and the next day my window was replaced. After a while, I started noticing a loud squeak when rolling up or down my window and to make things worse it happened intermittently. I called the Glass doctor and worked with Keith the manager. He was extremely professional and courteous. Keith assured me that what matters most to him is that his customers are happy. Therefore, he set up an appointment that worked with my schedule, my location and when I felt the noise would happen most (In the early morning). Keith also let me know that Will R. would be my service tech and that he is an expert in this field. Will R. came out as promised, worked very hard to show me step by step the process, was extremely professional, courteous and took his time to explain everything to me in layman's terms. He was able to determine that it was a manufacturer issue with that window so he left and returned the same day with another window from a different manufacturer and it resolved the problem. Overall a great experience. After my stupid insurance company insisted on an inspection, I was forced to wait 4 days until I could choose my own company. Once the inspection was complete, I called Glass Doctor. They were able to get someone out to me the following business day. The lady at the office was super friendly and knowledgeable. The guy who arrived to replace my windshield was friendly and professional, and he worked very quickly. He had the whole thing done in 30-60 minutes (I wasn't paying that much attention), but it seemed very quick. My new windshield is great! It was installed correctly and is super clean! Previously I only had a quote on windshield replacement from a company recommended by by insurance when I discovered I did not have comprehensive. The quote was close to $700, but when I called Glass Doctor I was given a quote of $317. I couldn’t understand the discrepancy, but Glass Doctor helped me to understand by looking up what my insurance company normally pays out for my windshield. Anyhow, I wound up spending less than half of the first quote I received elsewhere, they were able to schedule me for the next day, they stayed in communication with me, and I was only off the road for two hours (one during installation and another 45 minutes waiting on the glue). The quality job is holding up beautifully, all of my sensors are working, and the tech who came out was not only polite and professional, but he also took the time to explain why I didn’t need to wait 4 hours (it’s been a while since I’ve had a windshield replaced and I had no idea how the glue has advanced in those years). I would highly recommend for anyone looking for an honest, affordable price, and who doesn’t have the down time to be off the road for long.

But when it came time to do the repair there were many inconsistencies from what the office staff said and what was the reality on the day of the scheduled repair. We were told one thing, but on the day of the repair it was another (method of payment, being present for the repair, key or no key). We wanted to get the work done, but ultimately it did not work out due to the inconsistencies; the office staff was not familiar with what was being done in the field perhaps. It's great when things go as planned. But for me, the true measure of a company is how customers are TREATED when things do not go as planned. The manager was not the best person to have to work with. Unfortunately, I did not have a great experience. There are many other companies out there to work with, this company was just not the right fit for us.

Glass Doctor fixed our pane! AJ and his team worked hard to replace an odd-shaped, failed custom double pane sliding glass door window I thought couldn't be repaired. I hope they don't mind me sharing the honest truth that the window broke the first time they loaded the replacement glass on their truck. What impressed me is that they were honest about the broken glass, nobody got hurt, and the reorder delay was minimal, even during a pandemic. Ultimately, the new glass was installed with great effort (2 hours to separate the old glass from the frame) and great customer satisfaction. I don't think Glass Doctor made any money on this project but they have earned a loyal customer. I highly recommend Glass Doctor!

Excellent customer service. When I called, Chris, was very courteous and told me that GEICO will cover windshield replacement. This was the first time my windshield cracked. CHRIS set up a three way call with GEICO and obtained approval. He then set up an appointment at Tampa outlet. The replacement was done on time and professionally. My car window was cracked and needed replaced, my insurance recommended Safelite. After reading all their negative reviews I wanted to do my own research and get someone who had positive reviews. I gave a call and spoke with Gina who was very friendly and knowledgeable! I expressed my fears about wanting it done correctly and do not want to go back and forth (many Safelite reviews state installations done incorrectly and needing to be fixed multiple times). She put me at ease explained about their company and techs etc. When I got off the phone with her I felt confident. She told me the tech would call me the next day to schedule a time to come repair the window. I expected it would probably happen late in the afternoon (if you have ever ordered furniture you know what I mean). Stan called me first thing in the morning and I missed his first call by about 20 mins or so. When I called him back he was already at my place! WHAT!?! WOW! he took about 20-30 minutes to replace the windshield. I asked if he had a magic wand or something because I was expecting at least an hour+. Everything looked perfect! Later in the afternoon I had some errands and a famous FL rainstorm kicked in. I was starting to panic because I just got this replaced a few hours earlier and wasn't sure what to expect maybe all the rain would flood in or something. NOPE did NOT happen. I can not hear wind, I do not see anything done incorrectly. He even saved my Sunpass and oil reminder stickers (I forgot to take off). I hope I do not need a window of any kind replaced again but if I do Glass Dr. is my go to! Thank you Gina and Stan for making something stressful so much better! :)

I am looking for a windshield repair where epoxy fills a small chip in the glass. My worry is that the repair attempt might enlarge the chip to where the entire windshield needs to be replaced. Glass Doctor vs. Safelite: 1) I scheduled appointment with safelite to replace my windshield, they came out with a windshield that was scratched, and had to schedule a second appointment. Safelite called on the day of the second appointment stating they did not have the windshield in stock, and requested to schedule a third appointment for two weeks later. The doors would not come out because headers were sagging in center of the sliders. He said he could fix it another way or fix the problem? I chose to try and fix the problem. He couldn't have been any nicer or more professional. I do appreciate it. Glass Doctor you have a great employee. Thats what makes a business successful. We called on the day before Eta, the tropical storm. It was raining, but nothing as to why NOONE ELSE cared to fix a windshield. Which BTW, an owl flew into it and destroyed it the night before. I just had my windshield replaced yesterday at my house by David from Glass Doctor mobile unit. .I own an FJ Cruiser and these windshields are tough to remove and even tougher to install. (Toyota engineering) Prior to the install I read one horror story after another on the forum I belong to regarding FJ windshield repairs. These problems mostly involve the crazy antiquated clips Toyota uses to attach the various moldings to the car. If not installed correctly people have lost moldings on the highway. Prior to the install the tech needs to have these clips on hand in the likely event he needs new ones to avoid trips to dealership for parts. I fully admit I am very persnickety as to who does repairs to my FJ. Anyone familiar with FJ's know these windshields are "chip magnets" due to their more vertical positioning unlike most other vehicles. Unfortunately there are techs out there who are not trained correctly or simply do not care about their work product. David did an outstanding job on this install. He was fully prepared and meticulous. His attention to detail in removing the old glass and preparation for the new one was impressive. Quick disclaimer: I used to install auto glass many years ago and knew about the various methods of glass removal and install. To an installer, I am the worst customer you could have. I watched the whole thing and possessed just enough knowledge to be a PIA !!! I was impressed with Davids process and his knowledge of this particular cars quirks regarding the install. David was very mindful of my cars interior and left my car cleaner than when he got there (very tough to do). All in all I give the install a solid 10 !! Also I need to mention the ease of which this whole insurance job was handled. Selena who is the excellent assistant who guided me thru the insurance stuff was fantastic. She was also my contact person in case I had any questions. And Scott, the auto glass manager, was the main reason I chose Glass Doctor in the first place. When I called initially he got on the phone and put my mind to rest regarding all the issues that concerned me. He is very knowledgeable and assured me a tech that would be doing my car would have prior experience in doing FJ windshields. He was right. All in all, I cant be happier with the job itself and the process from start to finish. You wont go wrong with this glass shop!!

I discovered a broken window at my home and called Glass Doctor on a Friday to schedule a repair. I was quoted an approximate price of $250 and was told the repairman would arrive Saturday morning. Recently moved to Tampa and needed replacement glass for table top inserts and nightstand toppers. All items were ready before the promised pick-up date. They did not try to oversell me on any of these items, and in fact steered me away from ordering details that would not enhance the utility of the pieces. When I got the pieces home I realized I had given them the wrong measurements for 4 of the pieces. I expected to have to pay for the additional time involved in correcting MY error but they not only completed the work while I waited, they did not charge me. WAIT!!!! I messed up again. When I returned, Rob McKnight cut new pieces and polished the edges and refused to charge me once again. I can't believe how well I was treated by these guys, especially when all the problems were my own fault. Highly recommed them.
