Today I experienced a modern miracle. Florida Windows & Doors installed 5 double pane windows in my home. They exceeded all my expectations. The windows are just beautiful. They add a certain sparkle to my rooms. The air conditioning has been running less and the heat of the sun doesn’t seem to penetrate the rooms like it did before these super windows were installed. The installation team was fast, efficient and very respectful of my home. After they left, there was no indication that they were even here except for the terrific new windows. The windows are guaranteed for life and if ever I decide to sell my home, the guarantee goes right along to the new owners. If anything goes wrong with the windows Florida Windows sends out their own repair men. No outsourcing for repairs or replacements. This is a 5-star company as far as I am concerned, and I will be singing their praises for years to come. Thank you, Florida Windows and Doors.

Just finished the installation of new hurricane windows and sliding patio door with Ben and Steve. 12 windows and 1 sliding door. Took a day and half. They were great. Making sure install went well and cleaning up which was great because it is a dusty process. Passed inspection 1 time.

So far the experience has been great. We had a delay in delivery of our product but once it was in, our project manager was great at setting it up quickly. The team came and worked very diligently and did not give up despite a thunderstorm that rolled in during installation. The product is beautiful and was installed thoroughly. Everything was shown to us and explained to us. We were encouraged to play with the windows and sliding door while they were there in case we had any issues or questions. They were quick, thorough and cleaned up after installation. These guys stayed late to get the job done in one day. We were so impressed and are so thankful to have these durable windows.

I am incredibly impressed by every aspect of Florida Window & Door. Beginning with the sales person who came out to the house - he was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He brought samples of all the different types of hurricane impact windows for me to touch and experience the differences. He had a very detailed electronic presentation and also brought a UV light with him to demonstrate the effects of the different types of glass against the UV effect from the sun. He told me it would probably be 6 months before my windows and doors would be ready for installation. They were ready in 4 months. The person who came out to measure for the windows was equally amazing. Again, extremely professional, on-time, knowledgeable and accommodating. I cannot say enough about the installation crew. They went above and beyond my expectations. Every door and window was sealed to perfection. All of them open and close so easily. A contractor working on the house next door even commented on what an incredible job they did. They were the NICEST people and overly respectful of my house and its contents. All along, through every step of the project, I had a project manager calling me to check up with me. She walked me though any questions I had and answered any concerns. She gave me 100% rundown of what to expect in each phase of the project. There were no surprises at all. I truly cannot say enough how happy and pleased I am with the installation crew. They truly went above and beyond in every aspect. My entire experience with Florida Window & Door was absolutely incredible. It is not often in today's world that people under-promise and over-deliver. I VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND Florida Window & Door for everything window & door related.

The Sales person was thorough and professional in presenting the product and services. Process for order placement, permit application and final production order placement took much longer than discussed...particularly based on the amount of personal time I spent to assist. While this is mostly a reflection on the City of WPB, I think FWD could have been more proactive. Ultimately, once product was available, the process to install and get Building Dept approvals was very good. The install crew was professional, neat and worked quickly. Overall, we are happy with the finished product.

I’m newly divorced, and have a couple huge renovation projects on my home that I need to complete. FL Window and Door was the first contractor I hired to help me with the overall renovation. I replaced all of my windows with hurricane impact windows as well as my front door and my back slider. I had jalousie windows from the 1950s, so this was a huge upgrade to my home! I was away on Christmas vacation with my sons and my nephews when the windows and doors were installed. My parents came to the house to let the installers in, and I came home to a clean house with new windows and doors! I’m so so happy with the installation team. Everything was done in 2 days and they were super professional, and made the process easy. 5 stars! Highly recommend!

Great professional installer guys, polite and knowledgeable. Mostly cleaned up after installing. Someone was supposed to clean my windows after completion but had to do that myself. When Inspector came next day only took 20 minutes. Then several days later covers were installed and labels removal. Required to maintain 3 foot clearance from the windows so that was a little bothersome for a week. But over all happy with install. Thank you

The four doors replaced brought us up to the new code. We signed the contract October 29, 2021 and salesman said installation would be in March 2022, before the hurricane season. We were fortunate enough to put down a small deposit. After waiting 15 months the installation was on January 11, 2023. We were extremely pleased with the quality of the doors and the installation crew did a fantastic, detailed job. The team leader addressed all of our questions and concerns in a professional manner. Except for the time delay, we would recommend Florida Window and Door.

We had Thomas Lane come out for an estimate for windows. I cannot express how wonderful this experience was. He was so knowledgeable and professional. He really cares about the customer and explaining the process of shopping for new windows. He was so thorough and explained everything gave nothing but PERFECTION when it comes to presentation and explaining the process. The company was not the cheapest nor most expensive. We went with them because they were the most upfront. Glad we did. The impact windows were first rate. The installation crew was the best. It took them 7 hours to install 8 windows in our condo. Just the best crew.

The salesman was prompt & very knowledgeable about the company's products. He showed and did an excellent job of explaining the good value, and good quality of the company's hurricane impact windows including the hurricane doors by making sure we knew these products would hold up against a category 5 storm which was very helpful to us. The drawback was that the salesman stayed too long. He got there about 12:59 pm that afternoon but he left a little before 6 pm. Also, we were a bit disappointed that we couldn't get the windows we had first chosen & had to settle for the second choice due to the cost.

Florida Window & Door replaced all my windows 2 years ago with impact windows. They did a fantastic job. Windows were installed on schedule, with a crew of people who completed the entire job (the whole house!) in just 2 days. We hired Florida Window and Door to install Hurricane windows and sliders. They were timely and very professional. They arrived early Monday morning and I was shocked it only took four days. On the fifth day, the city inspector came down and we passed inspection on the first visit. I was travelling and they contacted me every day to give me an update and discuss the installation. Not just Manuel, who was the lead installer (who was excellent!), but also the installation manager. They patched any crack created from removing the windows and left the house very clean and neat. The covered all the furniture and did a great job of not disrupting any window coverings. First class operation all around. I definitely recommend them.

Well made, custom 96x96 hurricane proof double slide patio door. Installed 2/21 and everything went smooth, they did a great job. My problem, went thru with the $4500. Door because of lifetime warranty. Well, the handle came loose and rather than try to fix myself, and void the "warranty", i called service to seek help. Was informed there is a labor charge of $189.00 lil steep to say the least. Not the warranty I expected. Not happy with service side, cant in good conscience recommend them.

The finished product looks incredible but I had some hiccups along the way. The installers were a little careless and caused damages to floor and some furniture that they never repaired. One of the windows was damage but was fixed after the part came in. Aside from that I am very please with how everything turned out. At the end is more expensive than competitors but it is worthy for the product you receive.

contacted Florida window and door after meeting with several other companies and just like anyone would be I was very skeptical until I went to the Lake Worth headquarters to ask the management a few questions of mine even after meeting with a sales rep at my home on a purchase of a impact slider . The process took a few months (hoa ,permitting,production and install) to complete a lot due to Covid delays but 2 guys came day of install and really did one heck of a job and 3 days after the install was complete the slider passed inspection by city on 1st shot .My experience I had encountered was good at Florida window and door it was a pleasure doing business and I will be more than happy to recommend but for your own personal knowledge they will not tell you this any impact sliders in state of Florida by code will not keep water out your home water will come in the track even during a rain storm and is designed to drain out weepholes if it reaches a certain flood level or pressure your home will be wet so please keep that in mind when you buy the sliders if they told you this they would probably sell a quarter of sliders in this state. We had a really bad rain storm and I said omg the track has water in it well it’s designed too you would think they would make it completely secure but not the case will only keep the winds out and family safe so keep in mind even if not in flood zone and you get hurricanes if your purchase one these doors you best add flood insurance and that is only reason I went from 5star to 3 not one person ever mentioned this to me before install /but I’m still glad I installed slider so my whole home is now impact

Top notch company! The people in the office were excellent to work with and very professional – Anita, Shawn & Lisa in the Install dept, and Courtney in status. Having dealt with other companies in the past, it’s a very nice feeling to deal with a company that is large enough to have different departments to deal with those specific areas. The window and door installation process is a very specialized process involving people that specialize in each area along the way. Installation – Gaudys! He is the window and door man! When the install team arrived, I was expecting 3 or 4 guys or so, but 2 arrived. My fears were quickly erased because these 2 people had a system, and they were good. Gaudys was the installer and the 2nd guy (Goyo – I know I have his name wrong) was the one setting up, getting tools, and cleaning up. I liked that one person concentrated on the install and the other one was concentrated on the job site and supplying the installer. Having experience with installing doors, I had a lot of appreciation into the level of expertise Gaudys had. He as was very fast, efficient and on top of it all it was done correctly. From installing the bucking and all the concrete screws, the leveling and squaring of the windows and doors, all the screws that attach the windows and doors to the house, the mullions (double and triple windows), caulking, etc. I know that my windows and doors are not going anywhere, and they are not going to leak. I would use this 2-person team on any job. Money - We went with the no interest finance option so that we didn’t have to outlay a lot of cash before the windows even arrived. We loved it. We had the cash, but we didn’t want that uneasiness of giving a company a lot of cash and waiting 3 months. The finance company they partner with is more than a finance company. They are also of consumer advocate. They are excellent. At the end, they call and ask a lot of questions about the installation and whether you are happy or not. They release the funds based on the job being completed to the satisfaction of the customer. Florida Window and Door is confident enough to have such a partnership. I will update this review in the future to let you know how their follow up is. They have all kinds of perks, one of them is they will replace a broken window for free. It includes being broken by a hurricane, or by accident. That is for life and its transferrable. They have other warranties as we well that cover all other issues. They are a large company, so they will be around. 😊 I posted the 2 hardest openings for my install - The French door and the Triple Window. Take notice to how the 3 windows are aligned and square and how nice and tight together they are. Also the French door opens and closes perfectly. The doors make contact with the gasket exactly the same all the way around, which is also a sign of square and level.

There were some delays in delivery of the product but this was expected due to covid. I had a great experience with Florida Window & Door replacing all the windows and patio sliding door on my house with Impact windows and door. The salesperson "Gil" who came to my house was very professional and knew a lot about the products. He was able to answer all of our questions. Their prices were reasonable. Once the order was placed, the project management team who took over the permitting, coordination with our HOA, taking measurements and coordinating the final inspection with the City of Weston, did an amazing job keeping me up-to-date throughout the process. Anita who was in charge of coordinating with the HOA did a great job helping me to resolve any issues that came up. The installation crew were very professional. They protected our furniture from dust and debris, cleaned up immediately the work areas as they went and completed the installation on schedule. we passed final inspection without any issues. This review is about the installation itself rather than the delay in getting the windows and doors (everyone incurred the same issues with delayed delivery times associated with shortages caused by COVID-19). The installer did a GREAT job with the install (there were two in total) , during the pre-install measure they noticed the the front four windows were the incorrect size. They pulled out all remaining windows and began replacing them. They were very efficient in their work, both with removal and installation. I had both my windows and doors changed out for hurricane impact rated ones. I watched the whole installation of my front door and the best way to sum up the quality of work is to me the installer installed the door like he was doing the work for himself at his own home. My second installation was no different from the first, it was the same crew that did the first installation everything that was promised during the initial contract was delivered on (again the unforeseen delays associated with materials were force majeure). The installers wanted to ensure I was satisfied with their work and I was indeed satisfied, as were the inspectors (both City and Wind Mitigation). I am very happy with my windows and doors.

There were many challenges in dealing with this company, although at the end of the day, the window installation was fine. However, the process was miserable....if you call with questions, you are put into voice mail and no one ever returns the call. None of our installers spoke English, so we couldn't even communicate with them. If the company would improve their communication, I would give a higher score. Problems included windows not passing inspection the first time (missing screws and poor balance) -- but the real problem was the caulking. The original caulk job was simply horrible....guys came back twice to correct. (Our painter wouldn't touch it until the caulking was done better!) Like I said, at the end of the day the job is fine. But it was truly a miserable process.

We were anxiously awaiting the completion of some impact windows that we ordered through Florida Window and Door, and had them installed in our home today. It was a great experience. The crew chief called ahead of time to provide me with an estimated time of his arrival which was within the window of time I was originally given. The crew chief, Manuel, was extremely polite and professional. He explained what would be done and set his crew to work. They were very respectful of me personally and of my home. They took care to protect flooring in the areas they were working and to minimize any damage to the surrounding area of the windows. I anticipated some degree of drywall work after the installation (due to the disclaimers on the contract) and found that there wasn't any. Aside from a few paint nicks, the house looks the same as it did before the crew arrived. The crew itself was also polite and very efficient and worked like a well oiled machine. Everyone had a specific task and completed the job in much less time than I anticipated. When the crew was done, the Crew Chief had me inspect each window with him to ensure I was satisfied with the work. He thanked me for the opportunity to work in my home, cleaned up the areas they worked, and left. He was very professional. The windows themselves seem excellent so far. They function easily and I notice that my home seems quieter than it did before as a result. I was very pleased overall and would recommend this company to others looking for impact windows.

All in all the experience with Florida Window & Doors was very good, we just had a few hiccups along the way that they could’ve smoothed out for us. The initial consolation and package they put together for us was great, no problems there. Our first problem arose with our HOA. It seems rather simple in hindsight but both sides got into a bit of a dispute in terms of whether the permits come before or after HOA approval so that delayed things at least by a couple of months. Next once our custom windows were completed it was easy enough to select an installation date which was great, but the day of we weren’t made aware of the need to remove all the existing blinds nor that there would be a fee if we needed help doing so. In fact the construction lead had a paper outling these things which we never received prior. Fortunately they were kind of enough to help at no further expense, but again clearly there’s a bit of a disconnect between the Florida Windows & Doors offices and installation team. Despite the minor issues, we very pleased with how our windows look and what they do for our home!

***UPDATE*** After 8 Months my windows and door were installed. Initially, I was upset because I was not given an accurate estimate of the amount of time that the it would take to install. The service that I received from the time after signing the contract to delivery of the product was -1 but from delivery to installation to inspection +5. The products were installed professionally and the gentleman who installed the products were amazing in keeping my home and their work area clean. It took 2 days to remove the old windows and install the new ones. I was impressed at their efficiency. I had no issues with the final inspection. My home is beautiful! Had I been given accurate information on delivery and that it would take 8 months, I would have rated FWD a 5 but the lack of communication makes my rating a 4; which shows how satisfied I am because I had originally rated them a 1. I would recommend FWD but advise anyone who uses them to beware of delays (which are really out of FWDs control), be patient, and the 8-12 weeks installation estimate could be more like 26-32; but if you are willing to wait, you will have an excellent professionally installed product; and that's really what matters. My insurance premiums decreased and my home is more energy efficient; so the windows are paying for themselves! My advice to FWD; be upfront with homeowners; Supply chain issues have affected the entire country, and has caused delays in manufacturing of raw materials; we all know this. But, reiterate this to your customers. Keep them updated at least every other week so that we don't feel like we've been forgotten about. Communication goes a long, long, long way!

We are really amazed by the installation team. They were so detailed and super clean. Our project manager was very responsive. We were changing the size of two windows (the work was going to be done by another contractor) and Florida Window & Door worked with us by starting the job one day and coming back to finish after the other contractor had finished. Compared to Home Depot, the price was great too! The sales guy oversold the windows on the amount we could save on our light bill but I’d still recommend to others. Passed inspection on the first visit, the inspector even said that Florida Window and Door knew what they were doing.

It's a LONG story, y'all. Let me start with the installation team. The three gentlemen who came over to install and finish were amazing. They were meticulous in every way. They respackled and ensured all the cracks were sealed. They checked the locking mechanisms over and over, as well as the ensiring the alignment of everything was perfect. They tarped up before they started and swept when they left. Additionally, the end products are beautiful and as expected. If the whole experience had been this wonderful, I would have no problems leaving a 5 star review. Unfortunately the reality was a bit of a nightmare. On August 27, 2021 we called and placed our official order for a front door w/sidelights and a sliding back door. Both hurricane rated. We were told to expect late October or early November for installation, paid our $5000+ deposit and waited. October came and went. November rolled around and I was contacted. The representative informed me the company would be contacting me to install within the next two weeks. After 13 days, I called to inquire if there was a delay. I was scolded by the representative for calling with such a question. They stated my doors were still in production and they would contact me a day prior for the install....that wouldn't be until December or early January. Again, I waited. I waited through to mid January. When I called for status I was informed half of the order had arrived. I asked which half and was informed they didn't know and couldn't answer those questions. "The other half should be there in February." February came and went. March showed up and received a flyer in the mail for 40%off. Feeling cheeky, I called to ask if I could have the discount on the back half of the work. I was put into contact with the Head Sales Representative. He was the most helpful person I shad spoken to. He informed me of what happened to our original sales rep, what was transpiring at the manufacturer, explained why partial order installations are no longer available, and personally tracked down what was happening to my order. "Should be March." March arrived, so I called to check on my doors. Since, at NO TIME did I EVER receive a singal status call or check in. "End of this month. For sure." I called at the end of March and received my date. I was contacted by a "Project manager" a few days later and set up the installation day. The team was to arrive between 8-10am. When 1020 came around, I called the PM. I was met with confusion and a "I'll call you back." He didn't. I called him a few hours later for an explanation. He said he couldn't get ahold of anyone and he would find a new team and call me back..... I called him the next day. Voice-mail twice. Wednesday, a NEW PM calls me to set up a new day. And again, it was canceled via text at 9am. I called the GM. I was done. I explained everything and was reassured they would get me someone who would complete the job. A THIRD PM called me. The day was set and the team ACTUALLY showed up. And as stated above they did a wonderful job and didn't abandon me mid project as I was expecting. So, if you don't mind having an ulcer, Absolutely zero customer service, little contact AND MONTHS of uncertainty, sure. Go with this company. The end product is wonderful.

Installed our 2 sliding doors on behalf of the condo association. Salesman Paul is the reason for the 5 star review. He kept his promise in that if any issues to contact him and he is there to help. Weeks after the sale it came to a point we had to do that as there was a barrier related to getting the permit pulled (no one would follow up to what delay was, Anita included and I had to do the follow up with the city.) Once I knew the permit was ready (because I contacted City) I contacted Anita who responded it would be another week or more and install dept would call me, there was no way we were going to wait another week or two as it was already a few weeks past what date we were originally told. One phone text to Paul and the install date was scheduled by the next day! He really did what he’d say he’d do. The install crew was fair, I do feel we had to keep an eye on them to make sure they were going to build up any gaps with wood, as until I mentioned that, it didn’t seem like they were not as it takes more effort and time. So just be sure you understand the importance of what needs to happen behind what’s being installed (unless inspector sees mid install which most do not, most don’t come to inspect until after). The post coordination of inspection and quality of doors etc all went very smooth, and again Paul the salesman who coordinated everything and stepped in when others were not moving along as should, was amazing! He also got the measurements done extra quickly. Thank you Paul for honoring your word, a true professional!

We signed in April 2021 for installation of our hurricane windows (5). In the beginning all went as planned, paperwork and measurements! But then after that there was a lack of communication! They do not communicate with you on a regular basis to let you know what is going on! Everything was delayed several times! Delays happen BUT communicate so the customer is updated with details! We planned a re-Finace on our home working with the dates we had, and that didn’t happen! Messed everything up on my re-fi!!!! With that all said when we finally got our windows installed ,( sept, 2021) the install was great! The guys did a wonderful job! If you choose this company, you will need to call them on a regular basis so you are aware of the progress! The windows did come out beautiful! The Process just takes way too long!!

The initial meeting was excellent. Two people came to discuss the process and how their company installs hurricane sliding doors. They were very knowledgeable, thorough, and professional. We knew it would take about 8-10 weeks until installation could begin. So around mid-end of June. This was absolutely fine with us. We had a call one day towards the end of May saying they could come the next day to install. I did not think this was okay because that was such short notice. This happened twice over the next 10 days and I said it had to wait because of being so last minute and I didn’t have anyone to be there during installation. And they’d originally said it wouldn’t be until June. The lady I spoke to wasn’t too great. She didn’t call back or confirm the real installation date. There was a lot of miscommunication between her, my husband and myself. She told him one date and time and me another date and time for installation so we didn’t know what day to expect them. Then I received a text with another date! Luckily I was home during all these days so the work could begin. The workers were wonderful and did a fantastic job with our new sliding door. It was a very quick process. I am glad we used this company, but their customer service/office staff needs to be better and make sure all communication is accurate and correct to everyone they speak to.

Our experience with Florida Window & Door was a little of a roller coaster. In general, they were a professional company; as with all services of the kind, once the sales person has closed the deal, you are just another customer. There were some team members who really stood out and did their best to provide a memorable experience. Our sales person, Jason was nice; he went on to also sell my parents an upgrade on their windows. The permits team was great, they handled everything. The only time I had to get involved was with my HOA b/c they don't do business with outside parties. Lisa, in installations, was amazing! Once the product arrived at the warehouse, she got us on the schedule to install the very next day. Lastly, Dominique, the project manager - without her, I'd have lost my sanity. She works day and night and promptly returned every email and phone call she received from me. Why not 5-stars... 1. Timing and Lack of Communication We placed our window order in October 2020 with an estimate to have them installed between January and March 2021. The product did not arrive until May 2021. Unfortunately, once the permit work is done and product has been ordered I didn't hear back from the company at all. No follow up, or status on my order, nothing. 2. Product Installation and Inspection Two glass panes arrived cracked, installer said it would be no problem, placed the replacement order, but went ahead to schedule inspection. By Florida law the installer should have been at the property while the inspector reviewed the work, he wasn't. The inspector did not pass the project, and pointed out the screws that should have been drilled through on the window borders but weren't. The installer came back the next day and tightened everything, but we were still left with two cracked panels. 3. Lack of Communication - Again Once again, while we waited for the new panels, there was no communication, no order confirmation emails, nothing. This I think was the worst part of the experience. It doesn't take much to set up an automated service to keep the client informed on what's going on. During the entire process, which finally came to a close mid-July, the only way I could get any information was by contacting the project manager - and to find out who it was, took an army of people and getting passed from person to person, department to department. Once I found her I was able to get answers to all my questions, but till then, there were a lot of unanswered questions and waiting in limbo. A huge thanks to Dominique Desir and Lisa in Installations who were both great.

It did take a little over the promised estimated time frame of 8-12 for the windows and doors we ordered to arrive (I’m sure Covid-19 played a role in addition to supply and demand before Hurricane season) but once they were ready, the installation was scheduled and carried out quickly within the two days as promised. The installation techs were kind and seemed as though each had a great deal of experience in their craft. There’s only a couple of small things pending to be fixed (just finishing touches on our doors) but overall we’re very satisfied as the new windows and door are very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Sales person never contacted us once we signed contract. All process took about 4 months, September to January with couple weeks delay due to our holidays. Installation of 14 windows took three days (due to rain), plus an extra day for city inspection. No issues with City inspection! All process is a bliss! One sad thing - we received a Florida Windows issued gift card from a friend (who used their services) for $500 but can’t use it as the contract already signed and the finance company doesn’t accept any gift cards.

We inquired about an estimate (which was free) and Rick Rossetti showed up on time! Other companies I called never even called me back. Rick was very informative about the different options they provide, and he wasn't pushy at all which I appreciated. If he had been I probably would have stopped the appointment half way through. While expensive, the process was relatively seamless and I would recommend them. A few minor points worth mentioning: 1. I think my sales contact quit between time of dale and time of installation - he was radio silent when I had a question and reached out. It would have been nice to be paired with a new sales contact if he had quit. 2. My install was done by Indian River Glass (paperwork, T-shirt’s, yard sign, scheduling, etc). I know Florida window and door purchased that company but I didn’t expect to experience such a divide between the purchase and the installation. 3. Installation took 2x as long as quoted (quoted 2 days and took 4). 4. Install team was professional but the lead had a lot of ‘excuses’ when I would ask extremely applicable and logical questions. He definitely didn’t want to change anything he was doing, even if my requests were minor. That said he was still professional, just had a rough attitude. 5. Good news - while they broke a coffee table during install they 100% replaced it.

My wife and I signed a contract in July to have 17 windows and 2 doors removed and replaced with impact resistant ones. We met with sales reps from 4 companies and we chose "Florida Window and Door". We were told up front that the time factor, due to Covid issues, would take a number of months. We didn't get upset ... we simply were very patient, and we got the OK to start the installations in early January. The install took 4 days and the 2 men doing the job did a GREAT job. They were meticulous. I knew what was going to be done each day and the workers were on time daily, hardly took any time for a lunch, and the 2 of them put a lot of effort into making certain everything would pass inspection ... and the day the inspector came he was totally impressed with the entire job. The only thing the inspector found that wasn't "perfect" was one screw needed to be inserted 1/8th of an inch more ... which I took care of immediately. I highly recommend Florida Window and Door.

The hurricane impact windows weren't as great as expected. No heat is supposed to come in thru the glass and on hot days it does a little bit. I was expecting a not totally sound proof, but quieter house with these windows, but they didn't deliver with that either. I wasn't impressed with installation either. The guys broke the outside glass on the very first window they installed, which they told me about. They didn't tell me that they broke a second one on another window. I found it when I had my security alarm magnets reinstalled. So, that was another few weeks waiting and another visit scheduled for the glass replacement. They took approx. 2-3 hrs. to install 1 window, and were about to start working on a window as late as 7 P.M. I told them to come back and continue the next day since they had 2 more windows to go and it would be dark before they even finished the window they were about to get started with. I was also very weery with them being inside my house without masks on. One of the guys was having cold symptoms, was blowing his nose and coughing, and they sat at my kitchen table on the first day to eat lunch! My bed was covered in dirt and dust and my bathroom was filthy because they didn't put plastic covering down like they did the day before for my computer desk. I had to scrub my bathroom and throw all the linens to my bed in the washer. On the last day I had to make sure and ask them to protect my furniture. On a good note, the windows were ready within the 9 week timeframe.

Florida Window and Door did a very good job replacing our condo doors and window panels with hurricane impact door/windows. Initially, sales rep. Regi impressed us with his professionalism and congenial attitude. However, the process slowed down when the Covid pandemic inserted a 2-month lockdown delay at our condo building, just as the windows were completed at the factory. During that slowdown, the office personnel got slightly behind in the permitting process with the city, and we had to give them a “nudge”. Sometimes they were easy to contact by phone, and sometimes not. We credit Regi, acting as project manager, with pushing the process forward. The installation itself was done very well, tho the working hour restrictions of our condo building resulted in the job being finished in slightly more than 2 days. The final installation was completed beautifully just 3 days before the close pass by Hurricane Isaías. We felt very safe and secure watching the storm blow outside!

Happy with the installers, but windows show finger prints on the outside afterwards so that means they couldn't clean the windows because it was on the second floor. The company (office people) is very pushy and all they want is their money and don't treat customers nicely. The salesman was good and helpful. Lots of people cannot afford to pay in full which they should create a financing company. Plus it took them 4 months to get them installed. Long time ?????? And we should get more of a discount or a couple of hundred dollars credit for the long waiting?

The Instalation crew did a phenomenal job! They arrived the first day at 9:00am finished by 5:00pm then the second day 10:00am - 2:00pm. They covered my furniture with taped down plastic before beginning to work then cleaned and vacuumed after each window or door was installed. They worked extremely fast and organized. I was extremely impressed by how fast they had everything done. They had to firstly remove the security bars that we had on all windows and doors then remove the old windows and doors, finally install (11 windows, 1 sliding door and 1 door). They worked under the rain the first day and managed to finish Instalation on that very day. They just came back the second day to finish sealing a few windows and installing the screens. They even patched up the holes that were left from the security bar removal and cleaned all the glasses (left them spotless). The lead installer said he would try to get the city inspector to be there the second day and as promised the inspector came by just as they were getting done and passed the inspection. I am extremely satisfied with this company and recommend them 100%.

The website says they service Orlando. I sent an email stating where in Orlando I live. Waited 5 days, never received a reply back. I called and was told 'you are out of our service area'. It would have been nice to have received an email reply. It would be better if it was indicated, on the website, the zip codes service was offered in, so as to not waste everyone's time. Too simple!

From start to finish FL Window & Door did a terrific job. We had two new impact rated sliding glass doors installed. Longest wait had to do with HOA approval but they tell you that going into it. Permit inspection passed first time. Very impressed and highly recommend them!!

Florida window and door is the best! Professional, clean, surprisingly fast and good at what they do. Our 18 openings (including 3 large sliders) were complete start to inspection within two days time. They came in on a Monday like an army moving furniture, covering everything, they even took down my curtains and were able to save some plantation shutters. Very please with these guys!

Florida Door and Window main office was very diligent in tracking the installers and ensured throughout the job that work was completed to our satisfaction,. They called each day and adjustments were made when necessary. The installers completed the job in a timely manner and passed the county inspection. I was onsite for the entire job and the installers were conscious of making sure that I was happy with the work along the way. I replaced a double front door, a bedroom door to the pool area, garage entry door, and a glass slider to the pool area.

His product knowledge, patience and thorough presentation sold us on signing a contract with Florida Window and Door. He was able to answer all our questions and concerns. We loved the demonstration of all the different product offered by FW&D. We were able to select a product that we were happy with and that fit our budget. Very professional installation team who replaced some large second story windows with hurricane resistant windows. I expected that I was going to have to patch interior wallboard and repaint both interior and exterior patchwork . This is a follow up from my previous review. The work has been completed and the office was always professional, diligent and keept communicating with us during the entire process (we needed HOA approval and permits). It took longer than expected due to an old permit they closed on our behalf from the previous owner and some parts they did not received from the manufacturer, so it was all good in the end and they worked diligently to make it happen. The installers are great workers, they had to take all doors up by the stairs as we don’t have service elevators (I’ll give them 10 stars!). Long story short our cleaning lady remove the stickers out of the doors so we failed inspection and had to reorder new stickers. A week later we passed inspection and work was completed, except they did not put back the rollers they removed from the windows as promissed and the lady in the office was ‘per the contract’ BS with us until the end. Just left a bad taste as they had done such a terrific work so far.

I'm not sure why we have read some nasty comments online. The staff was more than helpful and accommodating when a correction was needed. The people who installed the windows were very professional and did a great job. They even did a more amazing job cleaning up once they were done! Thanks to Florida Window and Door, our windows completed the upgrade to our home and we are extremely pleased.

They did what they said they were going to do - when they said they were going to do it! That really sums it up when you think about it, you're always worried that after you put down the deposit they become difficult to contact. I did see complaints of delays. Except these guys were there every single time we had a question or concern. The craftsmanship of the windows & quality of the installation is obvious every time you look at them.
