We had 3 different estimates in April 22, from nationally known companies, we decided to go with NewSouth Windows. Their factory is right in Florida! The main reason though is the sales rep Bob G. brought samples on 4/19/22. Other companies did not. Second reason was timing which was estimated at 10-12 weeks vs 8-12 months. We got a call from Brad on 6/21/22 that production was ahead of schedule and to let us know Sandra M. would be calling to setup installation dates. Sandra called on 6/29/22 and scheduled following week to begin installation. After a few rainouts Toby and his team did a wonderful job on the installation which was completed 7/11/22. Inside, how nice it looks, very nice! Cleanup was done even though it rained on installation crew 2-3 times and the heat was 100+. And they also hauled the old windows and shutters away! We opted not to put any shutters back on. We like the new look! Building inspector made it out on 7/25/22 so I removed all stickers and cleaned the windows. I called the office and spoke with Sarah and she said window techs were behind a few weeks and would call when appointment became available. We had just one small issue with the dining room window which was noted at installation. The window tech Josh was here on 8/22/22 took care of dining room window issue, finished all window caps, stops and checked all windows for operation, cleaned small stickers off and wiped interior smudges of all windows. From start to finish everyone was nice & pleasant to talk to. We also received emails from the President, Earl Rahn right before windows were done explaining possible delays due to transportation issues and our delivery may be delayed. It didn’t affect our delivery dates. Screens are on back order but don’t plan on opening windows till the fall! We love our new windows and have seen a difference in our electric usage already! And it is so nice to have more light in the house! We haven’t decided if we are even going to put the blinds back! The windows are cool to the touch as it is on the inside when it’s 100+ outside even with sun beating in. Guaranteed for life even the screens!

We have received an excellent service from New South Window Solutions, starting from the very first day that Julian Klutz gave us the demonstration of their product. He dedicated us a lot of time to show us the high quality of the windows and he also took the time to answer all our questions. We decided to contract with Bob and Julian because they gave us a competitive bid that was within our budget. The installation of the windows was done in a very professional manner, they were very efficient and clean. We were very satisfied with the installation. I love my windows! They have changed the look and feel of the house. Well worth the money spent. I have no complaints with the quality of the product and love that these windows are made in Florida for Florida weather. The sliding glass door was a huge expense but now, I feel like it was well worth it. There were a few issues but they have ordered replacement panels to fix the defects. Do not be in a hurry for the project to be complete though. It took quite a while after install to have the trim guy come out and finish up.

Very professional from sales presentation to measurement to installation. Sales rep Chris answered all my questions and was very helpful...not a "pushy" salesman! Measurements were accurate and windows arrived 4 weeks early. Mike & Jay installed the windows in 2 days (only took that long because of rain). They were careful of plants outside and furnishings inside. There was minimal marking of paint; the windows all fit perfectly and work like a charm. So pleased!

Our shady Solar contractor referred us to New South so we were originally skeptical until we actually met Jack. Jack Ryan is the best. He came to the house and did a presentation that included samples of the windows and explained what made them better than the existing windows and why New South would be the best to get our business. Jack went around and measured each window inside and out and provided us with a proper quote with financing options that very same visit. He stepped us through the process and explained the lead times for making the windows. New South stayed in contact at least once a week while our windows were being made for us. We are extremely pleased with our NewSouth Windows just installed a few weeks ago (18 windows total). The product is amazing; 60-70% reduction in noise and able to drop the thermostat 1 degree. AC unit runs a lot less. We went with non-impact windows, converted several regular windows to picture windows, opening up the view to the backyard. John Frayne was our Factory Representative and did an excellent job. He is a Tampa native and really knows his product. He listened to our wants, needs and concerns and helped us throughout the process. The installers worked hard for a two-man crew and took a little longer than planned. Mike did the caps and covers after install & inspection and the windows look great. John listens to customer feedback and works towards continuously improving post sale service, which is all you can ask for. I highly recommend John and NewSouth to anyone interested in upgrading their windows.

The two installers also knew their craft, were efficient and left not one spec of anything behind! I met with two other window companies in order to do my due diligence and neither could compare to New South's integrity and product.

After meeting with quite a few companies, we chose to go with New South to provide our home's windows despite the exceptionally higher cost (cost was about 30% more than some of their competitors). We felt confident going with a larger albeit much more expensive company due to some of the stories we've heard about issues with the window manufacturers hiring outside contractors to do installation. We also knew New South would offer a high quality product and appreciated their bi-weekly calls updating us on the status of our order. They quoted us a 20 week fulfillment period, but they delivered in about half the time. I went with four stars instead of five for the following reason: for the price and name, I would expect the work would be impeccable. The installers, while friendly and timely, cracked an interior window ledge and left the windows very dirty. For what I am spending, I would have expected that they would have cleaned the windows upon completion (or, at minimum, wipe off their dirty black fingerprints from the trim).

I'm very pleased with New South Windows. I received 3 estimates and they were most expensive, but they promised me a quick turnaround. Much, much quicker than the others. At first I thought it was a sales ploy to get my business. But I was wrong. They did indeed deliver and install a quality product in the timeframe promised. Their salesperson, Chad, was very professional. He handled all my questions and concerns like a champ! In the end, I couldn't be more pleased with New South Windows. They're worth a few extra bucks :)

I had hurricane impact windows installed a few weeks ago. Just in time for Ian. The process was smooth and easy from the salesman, Julian Klutz and on. He came and explained in detail how the windows worked, pricing, installation, etc. A few weeks later a team came out and installed the windows in 3 days. They were quick and professional. During the hurricane I heard little or nothing that was going on outside through these windows. What I like most about this company is that they are very responsive to needs. Whenever I have called or emaled with a question, I have always received a quick response. Always getting what I needed. I highly recommend this company. Call Julian ASAP!

I am very impressed and happy with the windows (10), the new door and the installation process. The crew was very neat, friendly, efficient and methodical. They arrived on time each day and worked till the job was completed. They made sure that all of my concerns were addressed. They even made sure they did not leave any nails in the driveway! Emerson Fernandes, who seemed to be in charge of the crew during the work, personally made sure that everything was done to my satisfaction. I felt that the crew took a personal interest in the job. They went above and beyond by removing the old hurricane panel tracks and putting them neatly aside as I requested. A special shout also to David Nicksic, the factory Rep. He demonstrated to me the superiority of this product and assured me that the installation would be top notch. It was! I love my new windows and door. They are a joy to see. Our condo in Redington Shores had the original single-pane aluminum frame windows and sliding doors from the 80's when it was built. We were referred to NewSouth from another owner that had great results. From the initial contact, sales meeting with John Frayne, tour of their manufacturing and distribution facility, including meeting the CEO of the company, to the installation, was just a phenomenal experience, not to mention the quality, fit and finish of the product. The NewSouth team drove all of the pre-installation busy work with the township for permits, and once our new windows and sliders were custom manufactured and ready for installation, the installation contractors did a fantastic job removing, installing, and cleaning things up in a timely, efficient and professional manner. We cannot convey how happy we are with the overall process from start to finish- no sales pressure, no nonsense, and the windows and doors are amazing. We noticed the day after the installation that the air conditioner was running about half as much as it normally did, and the condo is unbelievably quiet. Thanks to John and the installation team, great work, great product, and an even better experience. Wish there were more than 5 stars.

The purchasing experience was very good, John Frayne was the salesman we had the good fortune of meeting and agreeing to purchase. The installation took place on 7 Nov. 2018 and all 11 windows were installed the same day. We received a follow-up visit for installation of risers on the front horizontal opening windows on 18 Nov 2108. A couple of the windows to include the front windows had the completion trim pieces installed on the same date. An additional follow-up visit to install the balance of the trim pieces was completed the week of 17 December. We are very happy with the New South Windows.

This was our second experience with New South. Originally they replaced our windows and 3 sliding glass doors. We were very pleased and called them back to replace 3 sets of French Doors. Our salesman John Frayne was great and followed up to make sure everything went well with our installation. I placed my order for custom impact windows and doors with New South Windows on June 18, 2021. At the time that I placed the order the sales rep told me that I would have my windows installed by the end of November or sooner. Here I am now March 15, 2022 and after numerous delays and broken promises they arrive to install my windows. The installation crew showed up with 10 out of 25 windows and 2 doors and the largest window had a 7" long piece of the frame broken off. the installers told me that they needed to collect the $20,691.00 commencement part of the contract. I call New South Windows and was told by the manager that if I didn't pay the full amount that they would take the windows back and come tomorrow with the full order. I told him that I would give him $10,000.00 and the balance when the rest were delivered the next day so that they could start with what they had brought, he refused and told me as well that the broken window would take 6 to 9 weeks to get replaced. I will update my review as we move forward over the next few days, but I am not optimistic considering the way things have gone so far. I called to follow up with an executive of the company to see what could be done to correct the problem only to be told that no one is available to speak with me. I would not recommend this company and am considering g legal action against them if this is not resolved quickly. UPDATE***** 3/17/22. All windows were delivered and the Install crew was very professional. The windows are definitely a quality product. Unfortunately one large window was broken in transport and three other windows were miss measured. I was told it would take 6 to 8 week to make the replacements. I will update my review once the job is completed.

I had shopped around with several small and large companies, some with big reputations. New South’s price, quality (I’m a mechanical engineer of 15 years), and especially the warranty were unbeatable! I also really liked how New South makes, installs and services all of their own products. I won’t get the run around if I need something. My sales contact, Julian Klutz (highly recommend) was awesome. Low/No pressure sales situation, very knowledgable, and none of these “if you sign this contract now to buy windows, I can tell you a secret lower price afterward” (what the hell kind of sales tactic is that? Sorry Windows/Renewal by Andersen. I don’t play stupid games with my hard-earned money). The install teams did a great job and took a lot of care installing the windows and doors. They didn’t just slap them in and leave. Recently, I needed a door adjustment after they had settled a bit. All I had to do was text Julian, and I got a call 2 hours later to schedule the service visit. No questions, no bs, no cost. I’ve already recommended New South to everyone I know shopping for windows and will continue to do so (especially if you/they can work with Julian!)

New South Windows have a superior product and were very easy to work with during the entire process. Romeo worked with us as several changes were needed do to HOA concerns and some custom stained-glass issues. The installation was flawless, we did not even have to do any interior or exterior paint or touchup work. The crew was very protective of marble sills and all furnishings as well as covered all openings and protected anything from any potential dust during the window removal process. All in all, the entire team did a great and very professional job.

Wait time of four (4) months from time of order to install was way to long to wait. Need to make efficiencies to shorten this time. Sales process reminded me of buying a car, but I felt like we received a "good" price. We only needed to order two large windows, and companies did not seem interested in such a small order. New South came through, and the quality of the windows and installation are outstanding. My recommendation for future customers is to understand they may have to spend a little more time in the sales process before making a decision. Bottom line - Yes, we are very happy with fit & finish of the windows and installation.

I have been planning on having my old house windows replaced for several years. After seeing many commercials, reviewing the New South Window website and receiving a post card in the mail, I decided to make the call. A sales representative was promptly scheduled and he gave a great presentation on the product and answered all of my questions. I was impressed with the product and entered into contract the same day. Although I was notified upon contract that New South had a 14-18 week backlog, my windows were ready sooner. Installation scheduling was easy and the new windows were installed on the date and time promised. The installing crew was very efficient and even cleaned the windows after installation was complete. Features of the windows were again reviewed with me as well as the process for the final County inspection which occurred and passed today. We already notice a difference in the south facing windows as these rooms are no longer hot in the afternoons. Thank you for the great service and product!

I had Impact windows installed on 1/31/ 22 by New South Windows. It was an Excellent Experience. The salesman Julian is very Knowledgeable. He could answer All Questions, of which I had many. He was dependable. He arrived during installation at my home as Promised. Julian is Fantastic! The INSTALLATION Team was Equally as good. Able and his crew were very meticulous. He knew what he was doing. He was happy to explain every step of the way. He was very accurate. I would definitely request them again for the few remaining window I have to replace. After multiple quotes from different companies I chose to order my windows and front entry door through New South Window Solutions. Back in July 2020 we met with the salesman who was an absolute professional with tons of knowledge. Due to Covid we were a bit delayed with the delivery/ install of the windows but New South took the time to give me updates every 2 weeks. It is now Jan 2021 and New South has installed our windows and front entry door. I do own an older custom built home and all windows had to be removed and installed through the interior. With that said, the install crew was nothing short of amazing. the crew lead took the time to go over everything before his guys took the first tool off the truck. He also explained what I should expect during the install. I was amazed how fast these guys were with removal and installation of the windows. They finished with the frond door removal/ install. There was a bit of a speed bump with the threshold of the old door and it didn't slow these guys down at all. they adjusted, made an unplanned repair and moved forward. All of this was accomplished in 1 day. The crew took extra care to clean up and when I did a final walk through with the crew leader he noticed some dirty prints and had them taken care of even after I said it was no big deal. As far as future business goes I can say with assured confidence that I will be a New South customer for life.

We had new windows put in. Very excellent windows. Only complaint I have is supposedly the installers said they could not put our shutters back up due to not being able to put on the windows. Neither of us remembered them saying anything to us. It was in our contract they would be put back up by the sales rep. Otherwise we most likely would not have had the windows installed. Took many calls and weeks later checking when they will come to put up our awnings, finally they informed me it could not be done. As it would void the warranty. After Hurricane Irma in 2017 We made two big decisions, we would not go without power again and not go through the physical labor of boarding up our home. #1 we had a home generator system installed, #2 We decided to have Insulated Hurricane Windows installed. I had 4 estimates from different companies. Pricing was pretty close so was not a major factor in our choice. We chose New South Windows because they make their own windows and they install their own windows with their own employees and not contractors. Their window construction was of the highest ratings, quality was top notch, and reviews online were all positive by customers. This is a busy company, we signed our Contract in Early May, yesterday our windows were installed ( in fairness, none of the companies we got estimates from had less than a 4 month back log). All windows are custom Made to order. We received periodic updates by phone as to our order. Last week we were called that our windows were ready And scheduled their installation for yesterday. The crew showed up on time and went right to work. First, All furniture and flooring was covered, then It took them 10 hours to remove the old and installed the new. The crew worked hard all day with one 20 min lunch break; no slacking, no wasting time goofing off Or playing with their phones; just steady disciplined team work. The crew was friendly, competent, and professional. When finished, they cleaned up their mess inside and out and departed. The windows look great, function flawlessly, and provide a measure of protection and efficiency we didn’t have before. We will be getting a Energy rebate from the power company, a reduction in our Home Owners Policy, and possibly a tax break. We highly recommend New South Windows!

(16) Impact Windows installed on 2-story home with vinyl siding. Installation took 2.5 days. Extremely happy with our decision to go with NewSouth Window Solutions. Quality of windows is great and we can already feel a difference with energy consumption. A/C units don't run as often and climate in the house couldn't be better. As most know, new windows are only as good as the installation and the installation crew didn't disappoint. They were very professional and the work they did was amazing. The windows look great.

After finding the door was measured incorrectly I was told it would be a couple of weeks for them to come out with the right door. Ten weeks later, yes October 30, my new door was installed. The length of time to have 4 windows installed in our home was 26 weeks from time for ordering till install (We were told 14 weeks). As for the staff at the factory they do not communicate well at all with their customers and keeping them up to date. Windows seem good quality but we’ll truly test during the next storm. The installers were pros and knew what they were doing. I also got new patio doors and they look great. I gave 5 stars initially after they were installed last Monday, however today, a week later I am still waiting on drywall, window sills and some tile to be repaired so downgraded to 4. New South can be more proactive keeping us informed after I made the final payment. We made 4 calls to them about the needed repairs but nothing so far. There’s even a cracked window during install that needs to be replaced. Seems the proactive communication has lacked since making the final payment last Monday. Our blinds are sitting on the ground waiting for these repairs. Made another call yesterday and was again promised a schedule. But I heard this Friday so let’s see.

Our windows and door were installed. All of the crew sent to my home no one could speak English. Had to communicate via cell phone to a supervisor. I don't think this is good business practice. While I have no problem with any one working in my home I would think there would be at least one person who could speak English and be able to communicate and answer questions without having to contact a supervisor to communicate. The window in my door was crooked and all the caulking was visible. This should have never left the factory that way. Phone calls and pictures sent regarding door. Spoke to Gerard our sales person and expressed our unhappiness with this. Call back stating he was sending some one out to look at it. No representative came. Only someone to FIX the door. We did not pay for a new door for it to be fixed. We paid for a door to be right the first time around. We are supposedly getting the new door. I am not very happy with all of this. While the windows are beautiful, more care needs to be taken with communication. Both my husband and I told Gerard that the door was unacceptable and we wanted a new door. Yet some one was sent to FIX it. All I can say is when you choose this company they are good but make sure you are able to communicate with the people who install and that what you want you get. We will see how the next door looks. We also were told they were not to caulk the windows on the inside until windows were inspected. They caulked them anyway. I hope the inspection can happen the right way and I hope this doesn't turn into a big mess.

We purchased a piece of property that had a house that was built in 1986, and it essentially looked the same as the day it was built. As a result, we started a complete home renovation, which included replacing almost every window in the house. I had never been through a renovation of this size, so it was a bit of a learning process. I called out several companies for a to replace all of the old windows. After seeing their ad on TV and that they were local, I called New South Windows for a quote. The challenging part was that the price quotes varied widely, and everyone said their windows were the best or as good as everyone else. We took the time to go visit the New South Windows facility and actually see how the windows were made, and understand how they are constructed. Additionally, New South was the only solution that was able to accommodate some unique windows with arches and getting the look we wanted. New South Windows was not the cheapest quote we received, but do you really want the cheapest solution when you are talking about an investment like your house. The overall process was handled well, even with having to do minor adjustment to some large windows that we have in the front of our house. The installation went smoothly, the installers did a great job over two days completing 20 windows. Even the building inspector commented on how good the windows are and looked. We are very happy with the finished product and will use New South Windows again for windows in our guest house.

Our Salesman, John, was very friendly and knowledgeable. We didn't feel pressured to purchase. He gave a sound presentation that was very convincing. We decided to replace half the windows in our home. I was very impressed with the business staff that followed up after the sale with an email that contained the New South Windows State DBPR License, Insurance Certificate, copy of contract, window measurements and site plan indicating windows being replaced. We received periodic phone calls and emails to provide status updates. We were told our window would be ready and installed sometime in November and they were. Our only dissatisfaction in the entire process was with the installation scheduling. We were under the impression that the installers would be employees of New South Windows, but instead they were subcontractors. We were scheduled for one day and received a call the evening before stating the installers were running late on a job and they needed to reschedule for the next week. We understood and rescheduled for the next week with the understanding the installers would arrive by 8:00 am and complete installation the same day. The night before the scheduled day, I received a call that they would arrive between 10:00 am - 12:00 pm due to needing to complete the previous job first. I agreed, but specifically asked if the installers would be able to complete installation that day. I was assured they would. I called our Salesperson when no one had shown or called by a little past Noon. I then received another call from the Operations Manager stating they would be at our home in 45 minutes. That didn't happen either. The installers eventually showed but could not finish due to it getting dark outside; they had to return the next day to complete the job. The installers were very polite and courteous, even when my husband vented his frustration at them. They were very careful to cover all furniture in the area of installation and cleaned up after themselves. There was one small repair needed, which was taken care of after multiple times of scheduling it and no shows. The trim was installed today on our windows and all went smooth.. We love the finished product. In our opinion, New South Windows would be an A+ company, if the installers were scheduled to actually allow enough time to complete each job and were not scheduled to do more than one installation per day.

This is part of a letter we sent to the management team at New South Windows: We just wanted to let someone know how extremely pleased we are with our New South windows and your installation crews. We installed windows in 2019 in the front of the house and installed the rear of the house about 10 days ago. This current installation included 6 more windows and a slider, and we know your guys had a real challenge in getting the old slider out. Your team started around 8:30 in the morning and worked until 8:30 that evening, with very little break for lunch. One of the gentlemen was moving to a new home the very next morning and we told him they could come back to finish. He said,”No ma’am. You were told it would be finished in one day and we will stay until it is finished properly!” He was a young man (I believe his name was Breno) and both he and his partner were extremely professional, cleaned up after the installation, and had quite a work ethic! On another note, the inspector from Dunedin said he has been inspecting New South windows for quite sometime and has NEVER had an issue. His comment to me was (verbatim) “Honestly, Mrs. Campbell, the fact that the city even send me out to inspect New South is crazy. We had all our windows replaced by New South. We met with Ed Kelly, our sales rep who explained all the benefits of replacing our windows and worked out what it would cost. I was impressed that they manufacture the windows here in Florida, rated for up to 175 mph hurricanes impact and meet all Energy Star specifications that qualify for a rebate from our electric company) During the lead time from when the windows were ordered until they were completed and ready for installation, I had plenty of time to stress over what would be involved with removing our old windows (our home was built in 1992, the year that hurricane Andrew struck south Florida). I did take some time before our windows arrived to tour their factory to see exactly how our windows were made. When New South's crew of two arrived for the installation I found that I needn't have worried. They went over what would be involved in removing the old windows and putting in the new ones. They began working their way around the house doing one at a time so there was only one window removed at a time (and even then it wasn't for very long). The entire job took two and a half days (working from about 9 to 5 with only a short break for lunch). After the installation was completed I checked over everything and found only a few items that needed to be addressed (some damage to the exterior stucco in two places, a broken window sill, a couple of sashes that needed to be aligned and a scratch in one of the windows). The exterior stucco was repaired the next day, The window sill and alighment was addressed within five business days and the scratch was polished out (can't even tell it was ever there now). From start to finish everyone that we worked with at New South Windows has been excellent. From our sales rep, to the office people I worked with, the installers (simply amazing) and the people that touched up the few spots of minor damage, my experience with New South has been exceptional.

My new windows installed by New South Windows are really great, they are energy efficient, keep all noise outside of my home, and I would like to say that I was worried that I wouldn't like the sliding windows, but we love the 3 that we had installed in the rear of our home. The view of the gardens and nature is really improved with the large glass area that we didn't have with the old single hung windows. I feel safe just knowing the strength of the 3 layers of glass and the frames . The installation was done with hardly any effort on my part, just clear space around window, remove blinds and window treatments and put them back up when completed. I did have some painting touch up outside but very minor. This is really a 4.9 star review but I figured the 4 star review would get managements attention to read the review. 24 Large windows were replaced with the hurricane low E windows, and 4 doors, 1 of which was the 8’ tall double front door with trillenium lock set. First the complaint: New South Windows does not offer a service for removing/replacing blinds or alarm components. These are major components that require several more days to complete, requiring coordination with other contractors. Also, the wires running along the windows for security sensors are easily damaged and hidden during the process. These need to be managed DURING the Construction process, not after the wires are no longer visible. It would be helpful to offer the service for an additional fee ( possibly $50- $75 window) or provide a list of contractors that closely coordinate with the project. This work is ALL part of the Customers project. The Praise: These projects are not for the squeamish. Glass shattering, metal saws tearing through the house, Hammer drills pounding, bugs flying around because your windows and doors are removed, the house overheats and becomes a sweltering oven, construction debris abounds – 2 days later, the house is clean, your air conditioning is effective again and the service team is trying to correct every defect to their best of their ability- and yes, there will be defects…..but they seem genuinely interested in fixing them. This is a significant residential construction project to occur with people still living in the house – Not for the ultra sensitive Owners. I am genuinely satisfied with the service, the window and door teams. Very hard working crews that are considerate try to protect the contents of the house and clean up afterwards. It was a joy to work alongside of these workers checking alarm wires and moving window blinds - although I would have gladly paid New South to complete the ENTIRE project. Great "after install" service by the company service team. Very interested in providing a product that works correctly. thanks to ALL.

I really wasn’t planning on buying that day but he sold me on the spot. 5 stars for Jacob for sure. During the building process I was updated on the progress. When my windows were ready an appointment was made in a timely and convenient manner. Ron and his awesome crew arrived on time and professionally installed 7 windows and 2 sliders in 5 hours and they worked clean and neat and were very polite. 5 stars for them also. New South is a great product and a customer oriented company. I truly believe I bought the best windows on the market. Thank You to Jacob and Ron, ask for both of them when inquiring and buying.

I have to say this window project was so easy and no pressure, Thanks to New South Window Solutions sales staff and the employees there. When we decided to replace our 42 year old 7 windows and the first 2 companies that I called to give me estimates were like dealing with New Car Salesmen...I got so irritated with the 2nd company that I kindly asked them to leave our home. It was then that I remembered, (thanks to a TV ad) there was a company right near our home NewSouth Windows... They have a factory right here, they hire local folks, to manufacture the windows, not in another state and ship them to us. My wife and I drove over to their location to see their products. We were met by smiling ladies at the desk, they got the Top Salesmen to talk to us and show us around, We even met the Founder/Owner himself, He took time to make sure everything was going well and made us feel welcome.. They took my wife and I on a tour to show how the windows are made..from scratch and explained the entire process. Very impressive and we really felt like a Customer....not just another sale. We ordered our windows, took about 9 or 10 weeks to make them. Called and scheduled the install just 2 days ago. Everything went so smooth, the crew showed up and they did a wonderful, professional job. They protected our furniture and carpet with drops to make sure it didn't damage anything The completed the install in record time i thought, they cleaned up and pick up everything. They explained the window operations again to make sure we had no questions. The next day they called to say the county inspector would be here today and sure enough, that also went very smooth. He signed off on the county permit, which they had pulled as we had purchased IMPACT RATED windows, the inspector assured us that we got what we ordered and paid for.. In closing, Let me say this, If you want to order windows for your project and not worry about any problems, then don't waste your time with the others like we did, unless you want to confirm my story, They are not the cheapest, They are not the most expensive, BUT They are by far, CUSTOMER DRIVEN to ensure that their customers are treated like real people and to make your project go so smoothly without hassles. Our next project is new Carpet in the entire house..its due next week. I can only hope that project is completed as smoothly as our window project was. The installation took a day longer than estimated, but we were told it would be so when our crew arrived and took a look at our huge sliding glass doors. They took a day alone. I’d probably give 3.5 stars if my impression was based upon these two time factors alone, however, our lead installer, Ron, is who bumped our experience up to five-star service. From the moment he arrived and introduced his crew, he told us exactly what to expect and that is how it went. He has a vast amount of knowledge of not just window installation but of general construction as well. Without which, the installation on our 1955 home could have gone awry very quickly. Plus he and his crew were super courteous and hard-working.

Excellent windows so far. Installation went very good except company policy is to not wash the glass when the installers are finished. Even if the installers did a great job the windows look bad because they are all dirty with fingerprints, smudge marks, factory rub marks and caulk droppings. And the customer needs to wash them all himself after they leave.

My NewSouth Windows experience was spectacular! The process took about 6 weeks (you ask for custom...then you have to give them time to build it, right?). I had 7 x windows installed on 18 JUL 2019. From the time of my initial sales call --which was scheduled to my convenience and conducted on-time--to the 3--person install team the New South Windows team kept me informed. Now here's the best part--the Vantage 9000 Hurricane Windows are SUPERIOR! As I write this in 90+ degree heat the windows are all cool to down-right cold to the touch. This was NOT the case in my previous windows. Oh, and I might add that the window install took a whopping 5 hours for 7 windows from start to finish--included a sparkling wash during install. I just passed my inspection and now they will come out and put the finishing trim on...which will only bolster my strong positive opinion. I not only would, I am recommending that you end your search for your next windows and BUY NEWSOUTH! In a word 'A-Mazing!' Oh, did I mention I am sure my A/C bill is about to drop! A home improvement investment that is going to pay me BACK for a LONG time.

The installation team did a wonderful job and cleaned everything up like pros! The noise reduction has been tremendous and we now look forward to a nice rebate from TECO for energy efficient windows. Did I mention that they make the windows right here in Florida, USA? Yes, they do and they are top notch. You can get windows cheaper from the big box hardware stores, but there is no comparison to the quality workmanship and professional install. They do take a bit of time to make, but it is worth the wait.

I expected the removal and installation of windows would cause a huge mess, but I didn't even need to do any touch up painting anywhere! We were told at end of install that we were finished and they removed all the stickers. I thought that was so nice of them to clean the windows, however I didn't know we couldn't get our TECO rebate without them. Called CS about stickers and they said we still needed a followup for caps and covers. Multiple calls and attempts to get apt and even more attempts at getting stickers, the gentleman came out and said everything was already done (as install team stated). Stickers came about 2 months after install. Still love my windows though.

The installation itself and the installer were great, I had no issues with that process. The issue I have had is with the factory and/or the person who did the measuring. One window came small and when installed had a more than 1" gap on the top and about the same on the side. I waited 2.5 months for the windows and now have to wait longer for the last window to be remade. Not to mention the fact that the factory rep told me "the window would be okay and would still pass inspection so there was no real issue." Except that is not what I am paying all the money for.

The windows are of a MUCH higher quality than so many of the windows we were shown when getting quotes from other companies. The team at NEWSOUTH certainly worked hard to surpass our expectations. We had a very tight timetable for the production team to meet. Even with moving to a new plant and some issue after their move - the team stepped up to meet this challenge. The windows were installed by "Lee" a very experienced installer and he was fantastic to watch as well as discuss what he was going to accomplish. Out salesperson John was terrific to deal with and went out of his way to keep in touch making sure that we were pleased. The best people on the team were the front line phone calls and our connection to the production center. These folks went out of their way to make sure things were on track. So in the end the windows are quality, the do add value, and are worth the extra cost of investing in our future with hurricane seasons coming in a couple of months. Only this is that I never had the opportunity to meet the boss. I did go to the new factory - but Earl was out making sure things were being done right.

First arrival time was rescheduled by New South on morning of scheduled day so installation required 2 days to complete. Installers failed to bring all required hardware and screen door for slider. Follow-up service to provide missing items took 2 weeks which is unsatisfactory as it delayed final code enforcement inspection. Inspection failed due to one window missing some anchor screws, delaying final successful inspection. These delays also were disruptive as all household items had to be left 3 feet away from the windows to allow for the inspection. Good product but less than satisfactory installation and customer service after the install.

NewSouth Window Solutions installer completed install of 10 windows and one set of French Doors in one 12 hour day. Installer was courtesy, respectful of my property, informative about the process he would use to retro-fit new windows into existing window opening, mindful of my security system. Window measurements were within 1/4 to 1/8 of an inch on all openings. This process in my opinion, is all about the correct measurements and an installer who has years doing this type of work.

Ranell & Curtis installed 10 new windows, a giant slider door and a front door in two days. We expected major stucco damage upon removal but only had a few knicks and scrapes. They were respectful to me and my home, had amazing teamwork and were a great "face of the company". The AsstProdMgr (C.G.) also checked in and had great repour with the guys, which was good to see. Only downside was our 14-18wk leadtime ended up being 26wks. Other than that though, we recommend them 100%, from sales to office to updates to install to quality, we are thrilled. The installation team was wonderful, as they had to repair a window sill in order to get the windows installed (they did by accident step on some plants). The communication between the sales rep and the office was not great. Our original salesperson left the company and we had no contact person. It took 3 months to get our windows and they did not have our screens ready. They also gave us the wrong door. The sales rep told us we did not need an additional permit to install the windows and doors and the office staff said they could not do an inspection because the permit only said windows. So we now cannot open our windows until the screens are put in and the inspection takes place. Besides that, we still have do not have the right door. We ordered the door separately even though we asked the sales rep to include a door but he told us it was too expensive. So we had to order the door separately. We were told the door was in stock and it has yet to be delivered. We have contacted the company numerous times in the process and were told by the office staff that a call will be returned that day, and they do not call back until days later.

HORRIBLE AT FOLLOWING UP! In February. After getting several quotes, we decided to go with New South Window. Jason did a great presentation and answered all of our questions. He made us feel like we made the right choice. He also made us aware that they would not be able to start the project (on site at our home) for 3 months. He explained measuring and build was a lengthy process and we were okay with that. He told us they would contact us by the 1st week of June. When we didn’t from them, we decided to call and email the project manager, Jason, Jenna and not a single person had answered. This went on a for 2 weeks. Finally, was able to contact the main office and were able to schedule our install. We were told there was a mix up with our windows and no one called us to tell us. I am glad I called them! It was resolved and had our windows installed June 17th. Now, the wait starts again. We were told by the installer that he would submit pictures that were required by the inspector. When WE called 3 weeks later , they were surprised that the inspection had not been done. They also discovered that no pictures were in our file. They forgot about us again. So, now, they had to send someone out to take pictures which we just received in the mail. Again, I have to call them to find out when the inspection will be. We are in the middle of August! They have our money, but we don’t have a COMPLETE project. We completely understand that COVID will cause delays, but this not about COVID, but the lack of follow up and COMMUNICATION during multiple steps.

It's too soon to tell any savings in our electric bills, but give it about 3 months and we should have good data. The installers were very conscientious and did a great job. These windows are awesome! I used to get fried from the sun while at my office desk because I face an east window. It was so bright I had to keep the blinds closed or almost closed. I had to have the fan on high to keep cool and that would move my papers around. Then there was also the school traffic noise. Now...I can have my blinds open and I don't roast and the e-glass tint is great. It's also so much cooler in my office. Noise? No problem, well maybe. I can't hear when the mail truck comes any more! But that's okay. We can also have the curtains open on our big sliders to the laini without heating up the whole house and being blinded by the sun. This is really great having these new windows. I had 3 patio doors installed. Please be aware there is a 2 inch sill that you can trip over, and I have. If it is removed, your warranty is invalidated. It is part of the Florida “code” regulation for hurricane doors. I would have appreciated being made aware of this prior to purchase.

We started the process of replacing our windows and patio door a couple months ago with a visit from New South Windows. I'd seen their ad and was impressed with what I saw and invited them for a visit more as a look/see I might do this down the road type venture but I was so impressed with the demo that I decided to put down the deposit and get on their waiting list which looked to be a late May install. The covid virus issue made me think it might take longer but we got a call on Monday and they said they could install the next day. Debi was home and they arrived on time with a crew of three and they went to work and were completed by late afternoon. They replaced nine single windows, four of which were on the second floor, the front double wide window and the patio door. The effect on the house was immediate. It was more quiet and the room temperatures were much more even and there was alost no feeling of heat pass thru with a bright sun shining through the western facing windows. Our master bedroom has both a/c units right outside the window and you could barely here them run with the new windows in place. We've slept three nights and the temperature has stayed cooler in a room that tends to get stuffy because the door remains closed most of the time. I know it's early but I believe we will reap some big benefits of having made the change. I couldn't be happier at this point.

HOWEVER, the 3/5 stars is for a couple of reasons: 1) the sub contractor who installed the windows, left trash everywhere and my tenant had to clean it all up--i.e. excess building materials. 2) There was also an issue with miscommunication. Someone at the New South office told me that they would call the inspector's office personally to arrange the final inspection instead of using online scheduling (because supposedly, the inspector came out a time before and said no one was home, which was a lie). They never called apparently, and I took an entire day off to wait for the inspector myself, only to find out that no one ever set up the inspection appointment! So, I set up a 3rd appointment and the inspector never showed again! But, suddenly, they said that the inspection went through. What?! I didn't care that all that was a lie on someone's part, because it was finally over and I could enjoy my windows.

We had new windows installed in November. From order to install, everything went according to our agreed contract. The entire process was easy. On our install day (Tuesday), there were issues with our sliding doors. The installers advised me that the sliders were not working properly and that they would put that on their service write up and it would be addressed (told me there was something wrong with the wheels/windows and was beyond their scope for repair/install). So all 3 sliders installed did not open/close smoothly and 1 of them did not lock. The next day(Wednesday) I heard from the office to schedule inspection, informed her of our existing issues and stated that with those problems inspection would have to wait until repairs had taken place. We had not been contacted by Thursday, I then called the office and spoke with Cody the Service Mgr. He told me he had just got back into the office and he would find the service request and get back with me. By Friday afternoon, we still heard nothing. I then had to call the office and Cody was out. He called me back and we setup an appointment for the following Friday, he still hadn't found our service write up/request but told me "no matter what the problem, a service tech could handle the problem." The following Friday the tech that came out could not handle the problem and that it would require another visit and an additional tech to perform the work needed. We did not hear anything until I called Cody once again the following Monday. During our phone call, I reminded him that I have sliders that do not work properly but more importantly that one DOES NOT LOCK. We had a pretty lively conversation and what I took away from it was him saying "you aren't our only customer" and "I just cant get anyone out to you this week". We then setup another appointment for the repair the following week. So 2.5 weeks after install, we finally had working doors and locks. Inspection went well and then we called back to have our inserts placed and screens put on, setup an appointment. On the day of our appointment that was 11a-1pm, Cody called at 11:15a to tell me that they would not be able to make it, he then asked what would work for my schedule, I gave him 2 dates, to which he replied that they could not make those dates. So I asked him to tell me what works for them since my availability obviously doesn't matter. We scheduled for a week later. So overall the process was great... Sales guy was great, the product is fantastic, Office personnel very helpful, installers polite and courteous, Repair techs: great guys and always performed great service. Problems: Getting a hold of the service mrg - Cody, chasing him around trying to get a service appointment. Not sure if letting a residence go for nearly 3 weeks with a sliding door that would not lock is standard practice but that's exactly what happened to us. New South was the 2nd company that we had into our home for window pricing and the window 'sales pitch' (Weather Tite was the first). The entire reason we chose New South was because they are made locally and New South has its own service department to honor their own warranties. Trying to contact the service department/manager and setup an appointment is TERRIBLE!! But once an appointment is made the service guys are great! I really hope that in the future if we have a service need, we wont have to go through any of the non-sense that we had to endure after install. I would recommend New South but be aware that after install, setting up service may be challenging.

Exceptional product! Immediately noticed temperature and sound proofing of home. Installation crew lead by Breno was exceptional in respecting our home and continuously providing us with project timelines and updates. This may only be fluke in my case but my only drawback experience was inconsistent and erroneous communication with the scheduler and Front Office Staff. (Seriously need some training in customer service and communication). I hope this is not an omen of how the project completion and Warrantee will be managed. If it is I will follow-up this review.
