Our experience with Stoneside Blinds & Shades was excellent, from design phase to installation. James, our designer made a home visit to get a feel for our space and make recommendations. We were initially interested in going for the more expensive roman shades but James suggested a transition shade which provided a much cleaner and elegant look for our space (not to mention cheaper than roman shades). Did I mention he arrived right on-time for our in-home consultation? Justin, our installer also arrived right on-time to take official measurements. He also discussed what to expect the day of install and asked questions we hadn't even thought of to make sure the installation would go smoothly. He arrived as scheduled on day of installation. After discussing a few things with us, he promptly got to work. Installation was an all-day project (10am to 5pm) and since we have limited space we were gone for most of the day and just checked in a couple of times. I was really impressed with the professionalism and cleanliness Justin demonstrated. Sometimes when you're having work done on your home installers tend to make a big mess Justin kept everything very organized and clean throughout the entire day. The work was completed a bit earlier than expected which is also a plus. He took his time to explain the app and remote (since our blinds were motorized) and answered a few remaining question we had. Overall, our experience was exceptional and I would recommend Stoneside Blinds & Shades without hesitation. James and Justin were wonderful to work with and we could not be happier with the finished product.

Very pleased with our stoneside experience! We’ve dealt with Craig (initially) who was super personable and patient with our final decisions. Tristan came out and measured and installed and is the real MVP. He was very personable and mindful that I had a daughter sleeping (who stayed asleep through the whole installation process)! He made me aware of a scratch in a blind that he later got me another appointment to have it replaced with no hassle on my end. And today we had it replaced by Mike who has traveled here from Seattle. He was also very personable and kind. He installed the new blind within 5 minutes and it was well done. Very thankful for such kind and thoughtful guys who make the drive to measure and install and give an overall good experience. And the blinds are awesome!!! No complaints and will definitely highly recommend. Thank you stoneside!

We had an excellent experience with Stoneside from start to finish. Our designer, James, was super helpful talking us through options, even including my partner over FaceTime in the decision making process to make sure we didn't leave her out. Our installer, Mike, was very friendly, considerate, and professional. It just so happened that two supervisors, Travis and Chris were also making their rounds around the country, and they also helped with our installation. It was really encouraging to see the higher-ups on the ground with their local employees. The whole team was courteous and efficient, and they did a great job with the installation. As for the product itself, we went with mostly transitional shades, and a single blackout shade in the bedroom. We didn't get everything motorized, but we couldn't be happier with the big 90+ inch motorized transitional shade over our patio door. The guys had to cover our older patio door frame, and the way they solved that by lining the shade it up with the outside of the frame is so sharp. It looks classy and modern, and makes our living room cozy with the way the natural light filters in. The chains for the transitional shades on our bay windows work well and feel solidly built. We're very happy with all our shades, and we'd highly recommend Stoneside if you're in the market.

We recently had our living room shades installed by Mike Alvarez and were very pleased with his great customer service. He was skilled, fast, professional, kind, and very responsive to our concerns when we found out that two of our patio door shades had been manufactured incorrectly. He connected us immediately to the customer service team to resolve the issue and was an enormous help on a stressful issue. Hopefully that issue will be resolved soon (hence the 4 stars) but in the meantime, we highly recommend Mike and thank him for the great job on the installation. 5 stars for Mike.

I want to give the highest praise to Brewer and Justin Lewis. What a dream team! James came out to my house twice and spent no less than four hours looking at my space, taking measurements, showing me samples, and making sure I had the product and look that was right for me. I have some tricky corner windows and none of the other companies I got bids from noticed these issues. James did immediately and really took his time to explain why I needed certain things. And his design advice was flawless. Justin also came out twice, the first time taking his time to make sure the measurements were correct. He followed up with a tricky installation that he did efficiently and effectively. Plus he was just such a cool, smart guy. I instantly felt comfortable with him. Great workmanship and very professional. I had some technical questions after Justin left and I texted him and he got back to me immediately. I can’t say enough great things about James and Justin. Stoneside needs to remake one of my valances and already, 48 hours after the original install, James got back a hold of me to assure me that he was on it. I could not be happier with the customer service provided by stoneside and in particular James and Justin. So glad I got my blinds from this company!

James, the designer, came to my house with samples and lots of ideas; his perfectionism and attention to detail was wonderful. Update: Customer Service manager promptly followed up after my initial review and took care of the repairs right away. Explained that there was apparently a gap in communications internally. Updated my ratings. Initial review: Poor follow-up service! Stoneside installed blinds at my new house and I was very happy with the initial product. But, when the beaded chain broke and came off, which is covered under warranty, their service response has been very poor. They opened a service request, and it’s been many months and they have still not completed the service. I have contacted them multiple times, including direct line to our initial designer-James, but I can’t even get hold off anyone or get a response over email.

The appt for measuring the windows was painless, and Tristan must have taken great measurements as all the shades fit when Mike installed them. Mike was so fast at his job! James and Justin were amazing as a team. I wanted new blinds in my condo, but I wasn't sure what would look best and what options were available. James walked me through options and helped me pick out a great new set of blinds that fit the rooms and gave a lot of light, but still allowed for privacy. He answered all my questions and made me feel really comfortable about the purchase. Justin was my installer and he was quick, clean, and professional. He made some suggestions to help make everything look neater, walked me through the installation process, installed the blinds with no hassle, and cleaned up after himself. For measurement and installation he was punctual, and gave me a courtesy call to let me know he was on his way so I wasn't caught off guard. I was unsure of what to expect going into it, but I couldn't be happier. If I ever need anything in the future I will be giving them a call.

Justin, our installer, deserves 5+ stars. He is truly the best from start to finish. A true professional. Our blinds look amazing and fit the windows perfectly. Justin also made sure to install temporary blinds when he first made the measurements to ensure we were provided privacy while we waited for the blinds to be completed. He went above and beyond every step of the way. Unfortunately, the rest of our experience at Stoneside was not as good. Hence the 3 star rating. Customer service was non existent with the rest of the staff. If you go with Stoneside make sure you ask for Justin and at least your blinds and installation experience will be delightful.

My husband and I were very impressed with Justin from Stoneside who came to install the blinds in our home. He not only worked quickly, but also diligently and efficiently. I’ve had nothing but good experiences with Stoneside. I got my blinds installed a year and a half ago and everyone was friendly and professional. Just recently, my blinds stopped working and I emailed for support. Within a day I was able to schedule an appointment for repairs for that week. Justin came by and quickly realized the issue. The blinds were working fine, I just had the wrong charge cable. Justin got me the cable that day, noticed my closest outlet was a little far and provided an extension cable, helped tuck away the wiring I messed up while trying to charge it earlier and had me up and running in no time. Justin did a fantastic job fixing the issue and educating me on more details about the blinds.

We just had our blinds installed by Justin, after ordering them through Heather. They were both amazing. Heather made the process of ordering so simplistic. She came to our house with a ton of samples, explained the pros and cons of each type and style, and helped us choose the best look for our house. When they were installed, they were exactly the color and style we wanted (and all the front ones are remote controlled!) Justin was clean, kind, and a perfectionist. Things we didn’t even notice, he pointed out and solved (new builds are wild, some walls aren’t as straight, things sit differently, etc). He came in exactly on time, and worked quickly and efficiently through the windows in our fishbowl style house. He even offered to recycle the paper we had been using as temp blinds to keep people from literally pointing at us while we are sitting in our house. We were just so thrilled with the look and feel and placements of the blinds, and will literally recommend Stoneside to anyone looking for blinds.

We had Stoneside do a new set of blinds for the master bedroom in our house about a year or so ago. When a lot of the other blinds in our house started to have issues (broken strings etc.) we decided it was time to do the rest of them. James came out and looked things over. When we had done the original room, it was in the thick of the pandemic, so I met with James over zoom. It was nice to see him in person this time. I mostly took his guidance on what would look best (don't trust my own interior design skills), and I'm glad I did! Everything is beautiful, goes so very well with the house, and his suggestion of motorized shades for the larger living areas was spot on. I currently spend more time than I should just playing with the remote shade controls -- maybe I'm just easily entertained... So yes, everything from the consultation to the measurements to the installation went smoothly, and the communication was solid all the way along. Would highly recommend Stoneside for all your window covering needs!

Did a virtual meeting with a designer for our windows and suggestions for window styles. Got samples for blind materials. All could match with our home. Picked out what we liked. Loved the textures we selected from the samples. The window technician, Justin, was a really cool guy. He did a great job installing the window treatments. He even could patch up old nail holes from old curtains we had. There was some issues with the blinds but with Justin’s ideas and the company’s help it was resolved. The communication for this assistance was prompt. I am very pleased. Even during Covid, where things are in generally slow for home design, it went smoothly and safely.

He listened to my ideas, provided drawings, sent fabric samples and ultimately helped me to identify the best product for my space and budget. Justin, installer, is fantastic. He is highly professional and does EXCELLLENT work. His measurements are very precise, taking into account even the slightest anomalies that may be due to the house settling, etc. The installation of my blinds and valances went very smoothly and I couldn't be happier with the end result. James was super thoughtful in getting us the right shade and motor for our needs - we have unique windows so it took some creative thinking to get it right. Justin and Dustin arrived to the installation appointment on time and knew exactly what to do to make sure the install went smoothly. Can't recommend this team enough - especially if you have a difficult project in the future.

My order was placed 10/8/21. Installation was promised on invoice to be 6-7 weeks from order. Actual installation ended up being 1/6/22 (13 weeks from order date). There were bumps along the way with FedEx losing our package and having at least 2 installation appointments cancelled by Stoneside. This is a huge inconvenience when considering I’m moving my schedule around to get this installed then they cancel just before the date. Also, they book appointments a few weeks in advance, so we had to wait again multiple weeks for another installation date. After requesting a refund compensation, they decided to offer the installation fee back to me (still pending). That’s what is keeping my review to be 3 stars instead of 2. *Shout out to Justin for doing the install quickly and professionally (the best part of Stoneside). To be fair, they had no problem with communication. Unfortunately, majority of it was about cancellations and delays.

He also was very courteous and pleasant gentleman. The designer James was also very knowledgeable and recommended what was best for us with good price too. We just replaced the blinds for all of the windows in our house and I can't tell whether I'm happier with the blinds or with the service. Zee, our designer, was very responsive and helpful as we went room by room to select the perfect color and style. We could tell she was prioritizing our needs and wasn't trying to push a certain style or brand on us. She provided us with a wide variety of options, but also had a great method for helping us narrow down and efficiently make a selection. Because we were also replacing our windows, there were a few scheduling issues (they couldn't take final measurements until after the windows were installed). The CS team and Heath (the installer) were incredibly flexible to accommodate our situation, and Heath even came late one night before his vacation to install temporary shades after the windows were installed so our house wouldn't be a fishbowl. We were especially impressed and grateful with Heath's service and friendly attitude. He was careful to remove his shoes in our house (we had new floors) and cleaned up after the install. He was very efficient and was done in ~3 hours (for 15 shades) and provided detailed explanations about the blinds and things we needed to watch out for. We're very happy with the shades themselves. The only caveat is that we have large picture windows that required two sets of transitional blinds (instead of one large one). Because of the width of the mount, there is a small 1" gap in the middle of two of our windows that I don't love. This isn't a fault of Stoneside, more of the design/limitation of the transitional blinds. Overall, I would highly recommend Stoneside to anyone looking to get blinds/shades installed. Very professional and customer focused.

I called Stoneside on somewhat short notice to get a recommendation on how to deal with large windows in my massage studio, Elements Massage in Issaquah. James came out and walked through the construction site with me, looked at my paint and carpet samples, and asked lots of questions about how each area would be used. We decided on three different applications. One is a luxurious-looking treatment for the hallway outside treatment rooms, to provide complete privacy, quiet, and a soft atmosphere. Another is in our lobby, looking very finished and upscale while filtering out the sun and still allowing us to see outside. Steve, the installer, was wonderfully flexible about working around the construction activities. He did a great job.
