Absolutely great experience - we had a very old door with lots of tricky problem solving. Cost was reasonable, and they could provide exactly what we were looking for even though we first saw similar and got ideas at a big hardware chain, and ultimately provide us with a better product and service. Ben was friendly and super great at what he does. There are so many more details to the trim and threshold that we didn’t have prior and it makes a HUGE difference with movement and draft. Thank you so much! We love our new door!

Such a fantastic company, highly recommend!! Their prices are really great and the service is top-notch. We replaced all of the windows in our house and our front door, and the work is just beautiful. They are very detail oriented through the entire process--from measuring, style selection, ordering, and through the installation. We were able to get high quality windows at an incredible price, and the installation work is beautiful. The trim work is perfect (and other companies we looked at won't even do trim work). The crew was incredibly respectful of our property and our neighbors, they worked very efficiently & kept everything really clean, and they're all great to work with. The initial consult was straightforward, clearly communicated and creative options were offered for our bedroom window project. Patrick came to install my door. He walked me through what the process would look like, made sure to bring any unforeseen snafus to my attention during the install, and tested the new door with me once the installation was complete. We received quotes from a few different window companies and ultimately decided on Sound View Window and Door. They were about 10% less than the other quotes, offered our preferred Milgard windows and were just as professional and kind as the other companies interviewed. Inital install date estimate was sometime in July and they had the windows in and ready to go by the end of April! They were very communicative about expectations and installation dates the entire time. It was very easy to get in touch with them with any questions. When install day came the workers were quick, clean, and respectful of our home. We would absolutely use them again and recommend them to friends and family.

Our installation went very well and we are very happy. The two installers showed up on time and worked diligently to conclusion. They were unobtrusive in the house, took care to cover surfaces and cleaned everything up. They explained what they did, why the old windows failed, and how to care for the new windows. We could not have been more pleased with the installation process and the finished windows, now installed.

Dan was great, helped us understand some of the *many* options in this space, and worked with us to dial-in the right products to meet our needs. The doors were delivered and installed two-weeks ahead of schedule - rare in these COVID times, and we're delighted with the products and service. I recently had some of my windows replaced by Sound View Windows and Doors and was incredibly happy with the entire process and finished product. I first started checking out replacement windows last year. I spoke with Jeff who was incredibly helpful even though he knew I was several months away from moving forward. He made great suggestions for replacement windows (Milgard trinity line) and was very helpful. . I did not feel any pressure yet he was very prompt to respond to my many questions and changes ( and there were Many!) Of the 3 bids I received this was the most thorough- everything was itemized so that it was easy to understand the work, the product and exactly what I was being charged for. The bid was also very competitively priced. The operations department was wonderful at communicating with me about scheduling. Because we scheduled the work before the pandemic, there were some timeline changes but they handled them great. Lastly the installers did a fabulous job. One of the windows they were replacing was an old oversized picture window that was wonky, installed poorly and hard to remove. The team worked on it for a long time and then took their time to repair the frame before putting in the new window. And, the windows look great! I am looking forward to having Sound View back to replace the rest of my windows. Everyone I dealt with seemed professional and honest. I highly recommend them! Lisa

The door was ordered and arrived on time, and installation was completed in 1.5 days! (This included cutting a new hole in our house). There was only one window in our house that was original, 60 years old, single-pane aluminum framed. It was a very odd size. Sound View Window was easy to work with, from the sales representative to the installer. The window was made custom by Milgard and the window was ready and installed sooner than had been estimated. The installer, Simon, did a great job of installing, including framing and sealing on the exterior. All we need to do is paint the trim.

We had a great experience working with Sound View Windows and Doors. The salesperson (Steve) was straightforward, knowledgeable and not pushy at all. The scheduler/measurers (Don and Bob) were responsive and easy to communicate with. It was a pleasure working with the installers (Patrick and Karl). They were very professional and meticulous. The lead was able to explain how the project was going in detail often during the install and checked in often. It was nice to feel that the windows were installed carefully, paying attention to the weatherization and insulation. The only thing that could have been done better was estimating the time to install from the deposit date (it took an extra 2 weeks).

Simon did an incredible job! The order took several weeks to go through, but that's understandable given the dimensions of the window and the nature of the damage. On the day it got replaced, Simon did a fantastic job and left without a trace of work being done! The window looks absolutely perfect and paying the remaining balance over the phone was very quick. This company is wonderful! Excellent, responsive customer service and excellent work. We recently had the glass replaced in a slider door and large window. The gentleman who did the work was exceptional - great worker and attention to detail. My husband said he even spent time trying to get our back slider door to lock (which it never has, and we never lock as it's on an upper level balcony) and when he couldn't get it to work, he cut a piece of wood for us to use to block the door from opening! Above and beyond. He cleaned the new windows and left everything in pristine condition. We are very happy. We will definitely call on Sound View again should we need further window replacement.

Jeff was great working with us to find the correct product taking the extra time to explain the different options from the different manufactures and pricing up several options. Jeff was never pushy and seem more concerned on getting it right rather than making a sale. During installation Patrick and his crew were exceptional to work with. They came prepared and protected the house and cleaned up before leaving each day. Patrick also took his time and didn't seem rushed wanting to complete the job correctly. The craftsmanship of the millwork is second to none and the new trim matches our existing trim perfectly. My wife and I have pretty high standards as we are both PM's for large general contractors and to have Sound View exceed our expectations was a pleasant surprise. We love the new windows and are so happy that we found Sound View to install. We highly recommend them if you are in the market for new windows!

Dan came out for critical measurements and explained how to prep the house for install. Patrick C. did the install. An amazing one day (actually five hour), one man solo performance, perfectly beautiful work, especially the calking. It looks like those windows were always there. Just in time for November.

We're really happy with the new windows, and mostly just wish we'd done it sooner. Jason and his various crew were completely professional, treated our house and us with more respect than we probably deserve, and their workmanship was excellent and much appreciated. Jason's door-hanging skills were excellent, and he was easy going and completely enjoyable to live with for 3 days. Not to put too fine a point on it, but that's huge, by the way, since it's impossible for the crew not to take over the house even though we're still living here. It's lovely to have a front door that works so well, and will, once the masking is removed, look so good, despite the fact that it had to go in such a lop-sided opening. Jason just made it work, and it looks great. The same can certainly be said for all our windows - the living room window, in particular, just transforms the vibe of the house.
