I’d had a great experience at safelite. Aaron was very helpful and did a great job with the window replacement of the car. The waiting area can get slightly crowded but there is decent space inside and outside.

I got a chip fixed in my windshield today at Safelite. Unfortunately when I got to the location at my appointment time they told me it would be a little while because they were behind. 50 minutes after my appointment start time they were able to start on my car. I don't blame the person who was working on my car, he was very polite and gave me a heads up around 15 minutes into my appointment time that he was behind that he would get to my car next. I just wish that maybe they could have called me before my appointment to tell me that they were behind and to have me come later. Instead of me waiting in their lobby for an hour and 15 minutes which was absolutely freezing!

Very professional and reasonable auto glass repair showroom. We had booked an appointment a month ago to fix our front passenger window glass online and it was seamless. We showed up on the day of appointment and the job was done in about an hour. They replaced the glass, cleaned the shattered glass pieces in the car and the car was in pristine condition in record time. Their rates are extremely reasonable especially if you are paying out of pocket. Highly recommend.

Very expensive, and I was not impressed with the way things finished up for a simple windshield replacement. The email I received stated there was a safe drive away time, and that I should leave the tape on for two hours. It’s probably not a big deal, but no one told me that when I was checking out. They also didn’t notice that my old windshield had a good to go pass on it, and it would’ve been nice If they had transferred it to the new windshield. It just makes sense.

The install/window replacement went fine. But Safelite corporate MUST update their info that they send out ahead of time (I received numerous reminders/texts etc). All the info that is sent out refers to a keybox/drop off system which does NOT exist at this location. I mentioned this to the person who helped me when I dropped off my car (and I made sure to say 'I'm sure you hear this all the time, I know it's not your fault) and all she said was "Oh I know, they haven't fixed that'. If she had just said "I'm so sorry that's still going on" it would have been so much kinder.

Was lucky enough to get an appointment the day after my car was broken into. These guys opened their door before business hours to the impatient range Rover owner who arrived before me without complaint, and were gracious enough to help him and myself right away. Simon, the technician working on my car, called me once I got home and let me know he started the work on my car, and was very clear about time and expectations. As he said he would, he promptly called me 1.5 hours later to let me know he had finished. When I came back to the shop, the staff were, again, valiantly helping incompetent and impatient customers without any complaints, which unfortunately delayed my pick up. Nonetheless, as a reasonable human, I waited my turn, knowing that I'm not the only person needing help in the universe. Simon greeted me with a very pleasant demeanor and went over the warranty related to his work These people are professionals. They work hard and are great at their job! If you have trouble finding a shop near you, use Google maps before giving an unnecessary, lengthy phone call. If you are unsure about the services they provide, check their website first before coming in person and talk down to them when they can't do something within their scope of services.

First, the bad... My appointment was for a windshield and side window replacement, the side window that was busted out being the priority. I loaded my bike on my car rack, dropped off the car, and committed to work in my bike, doing the reverse after work. Upon arrival for drop off, I was informed the side window did not arrive and I would need to reschedule that install but they could still install the windshield. Obviously, with the hybrid bike counter thing, this was a pain point. The good... the customer service onsite getting me rescheduled was helpful, the windshield install was professional, the installer Victor contacted me not only to tell me the install was completed but also to verify I had been informed about the side window situation. He was courteous and professional. Also, the tarp I had fashioned over the side window opening had been replaced with a protective film securely attached to get me by until my rescheduled date.

Their online reservation system with insurance info API is really neat. They also called in the day before to confirm, which was great. Now, I show up on time only to wait 25 mins. The windshield chip repair itself has a pretty noticeable resin mark. I am really not sure whether it is a workmanship issue or just the nature of that chip. The repair itself took 25 mins. People were overall courteous.

I arrived early at the 6th Ave Seattle shop. They took my car in right away and started in on my rock chip repair. I was impressed with the pleasant people working the desk and the technicians. The young man who drove my vehicle easily identified the rock chip that had already been repaired and the new chip on the opposite side. Technician Kevin brought the vehicle back. The new rock chip repair was awesome. The chip in my windshield disappeared. New windshield wipers installed and washed the windshield inside too. Very pleased with the Safelite experience.

I’m rating 5/5 for a few reasons. 1) the technician that worked on my car was super polite and replaced the windshield in about an hour. 2) Safelite made it easy for me to drop my car off, and had a lot of time slots open(they will come to you if needed). Their website also contacted my insurance for me and got it all sorted. 3) Overall the experience was very smooth.

They called us in an hour to let us know our car was already done. They took care of our windshield. It's nice there is a lifetime warranty on the glass if it ever suddenly starts cracking. I had a great experience today with Safelite (the one on 6th Ave S in Seattle). After the first glass place my insurance company (State Farm) connected me to lost the referral and then turned out to not have a mobile repair unit, I asked State Farm to find me somewhere that could come fix my van's smashed window at my house. They connected me to Safelite at around 8:45 this morning (the day before Thanksgiving). Within about two hours, a repair person (Esteban) was at my house with the correct parts. Esteban was great! He was polite, professional, appropriately masked and gloved, and the repair and cleanup of all the broken glass only took about an hour and 15 minutes total. It was a great experience all around!

I have been working to schedule an appointment since August. Today we had the long-awaited appointment and adjusted work schedules so that the car would be available for them. They called at 9 am to inform us that the service was cancelled. Next available is 3 weeks away. Trying to stay patient but I'm less than happy.

Never fixed them in the past, but since this was my new "baby," I was curious to see if my insurance would cover the cost of the repair. Safelite had great reviews online and they did not disappoint. The website was very easy to use-- i entered in my insurance info and was able to schedule an appointment in no time. I appreciate that they will come out to your location, and that they'll let you know when they are on their way! My Safelite technician, Trinity, was awesome: professional, fast, friendly, and a had great personality to boot. She was able to reduce my windshield ding down to a tiny dot... only noticeable if you were looking for it! She provided a great overall experience, and though I'm not wishing any more dings or cracks for my car, I know the sting of it will be lessened because i know a great place that will take care of it!

He called when he was 30 minutes away and gave me an accurate estimate of when he'd arrive. When he arrived Allen called again and was very professional and polite. I've had a very good experience with Safelite. My car was broken into, and I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. The price of fixing it was $100 less than the price I was quoted online, which is awesome. I also love that they provide coffee and snacks and sodas in the lobby. These guys are trying, and I'm glad that a stressful situation was made better by them.

I called about my drivers side window and was told over the phone it was a window regulator.I ordered the part, made an appointment.waited while part was installed. Turns out it wasn't the regulator but the motor and no refund for the expensive part. Mike my technician told me of you get the motor I'll install it for free. Got the motor. Made appointment, They called said Mike had an emergency and had to leave out of state.If you bring it down now 2 hours. I get there they told me they needed it all day Made a new appointment and am currently waiting in the lounge.Nice assortment of coffee, soda, water dish on the tv.Everyone was very nice but was pricey and took a long time. 4 stars was because even after all that they did a great job under the circumstances.Kudos to Mike.The waiting room was busy all 3 visits.

I've used Safelite at least 4 times in the past 2-3 years. Most recently to repair nearly all the windows in my truck after they were smashed in a theft/vandalism incident. Safelite was able to do the work the very next day following the incident so I didn't have to drive around with broken/taped up windows. Their mobile service is excellent and every technician I've had has been great - fast and professional. Highly recommended!

Technician Jonathan Jones (Tech ID 1804-224) went above and beyond to find a solution to a problem and make my experience great! I had my passenger window smashed out and a big crack in my windshield. Jon called me on the morning of the repair and told me that he would need my car key to replace the electric passenger window. I had the car key on me at work and it was my only copy. Working sales full time in the thick of the holiday season, with a wife in finals week and a 2 year old son that I had to drive windowless from Seattle to Federal Way in 35 degree weather the previous morning, I was more than disappointed to find out that I wouldn't be able to have the window fixed on this repair appointment and that I might need to pay another deductible. Jon sensed my disappointed, listened to my concerns, and immediately looked for solutions. He asked where I worked and when he was able to determine that he could make it work, offered to pick the car key up from me and was very thorough about figuring out where to leave it after the repair. Luckily my wife was home and she said that Jon was very friendly and professional. I usually complain when my insurance company insists on using a company rather than letting me use my people for the price of the deductible but I couldn't have gotten better service than Jon gave me. Got my window bashed in on my wrx over the holiday. These guys got me in the same day I called and also had my car ready for me that day. I have had my car broken into a couple times and the worst part is getting back to normal. These guys were friendly and quick. They even found my debit card when they were cleaning out the glass and returned it. All in all great people, great service, and everything you could need/ expect when getting your windows replaced in a timely fashion.

This is the Warehouse location for the entire region, so they were able to get my vehicle finished in the same day as I brought it in (on a Saturday). Not a bad price with Insurance, and was impressed by the amount of the glass they cleaned up inside of my truck after it was broken into. I appreciated the location, which is South Sodo, and was within Ubering distance to all the good stuff downtown offers. These guys are pros.

They did good a job with the installation of the back window of our car. The only issue we had was that they are so busy they don't answer their phone when trying to call so leave a message. There are no signs on where to drop off your car so park and ask the desk clerk for a tech. Wait for them to call you before heading back to pick up. We thought they forgot to call but when we went they weren't quite done yet and we had to wait for them to finish.

I used them this week and I barely had to do anything. They came like an hour before their scheduled time (without calling me first) and I wasn't home. I was at work when they called to say they were there. I was able to pay over the phone and they worked on it and were finished before I even got home. I was a little annoyed they didn't call to let me know they would be early and the technician seemed annoyed I was not there (an hour before he was supposed to be there). But needless to say, the work was done and it was done very nicely. It was expensive, but I couldn't wait to compare pricing because I needed my car to commute and I couldn't drive with a huge crack across my windshield!

I waited while they replaced my windshield. Waiting is never fun, but they have free WiFi, bottled water and even some snacks. The even have USB chatting cables available. So the wait was productive - and they did a great job on the windshield replacement.

My car window got smashed on july 4th, luckily whoever did this they didn't steal anything. I called my insurance, since is minor they said should just do out of pocket rather than my monthly pay go up. I research online and I even called my dealership, they will take about a week because they have to order the parts. I need the car to go to work the next day, so I found alot autoglass shop near to my place. From what I research safelite autoglass have a higher quote that other shop, but they advertise that they will vacuum the broken glass. Next day I called Safelite autoglass and they nearest to my house can't do same appointment, but the representative could do same appointment about 10 miles from I live, I also ask about the vacuum the broken glass, and he said yes. I went to the shop and they said it will take about 60-90min. The technician finish less than an hour, that was awesome. I checked inside they car, they vacuum inside the car and there were still couple broken glass but somewhere inside the water holder. I checked outside the window there is still lots broken glasses around it. The receipt brochure said do not open the window for 24 hours. Next day I rolled the window and found more broken glasses, I vacuumed my self. Everything was great except the part that they didn't really clean the outside. Sorry about the long review but hope from this review they could a perfect job for the next customer. I would still recommend safelite for a fast appointment and fast service.

Went here to pick up a friends car being repaired while he was out of town. I had some difficulty finding the place, but when I called they were helpful with landmarks and finding the building. Was not so happy with the car still having broken glass on the floor mat. It did not look as if they took any extra time to make sure the car was free of glass from the broken window.

Monday, February 27th was an extra awful day in Seattle since we had both snow and a tanker truck overturned rendering I-5 useless. Needless to say this was the worst possible day to wake up and find my car window smashed. I called Safelite to see how quickly I could get in and unfortunately they were all booked up for the day, but I could come in and get my window temporarily wrapped to keep my car dry. I came in just a bit before noon to get the window wrapped, and they said if I dropped my car off they would be able to take care of it by the end of the day. This sounded great, so I agreed to drop the car off and hung out in the lobby for a bit. The wifi in the lobby wasn't amazing and I had work I needed to do so I said I was going to take a Lyft to my office. The friendly gal at the reception desk said to keep the receipts from the ride there and back and they would take it off my repair. Here comes the kicker... the overturned tanker was still snarling up traffic at 4:30pm when I left my office to try to get to Safelite before they closed. Many of the streets that were needed to get to Safelite were either closed or blocked with traffic. I ended up incurring the most expensive ride I've ever had in my life, and was all but positive I wasn't going to be successful in having it taken off my repair. Nope, Safelite refunded what had originally been charged for the repair and re-ran my card less the amount of the crazy Lyft. Safelite has a customer for life with me, thank you!!

It's easy to find, park and check in. Staff is friendly and they're pretty quick! They really try to be customer service oriented in a genuine real way. Unfortunately, they lose at least one or two stars off because, on three separate occasions, there was a considerable amount of broken glass just scattered -- each time they claimed vacuuming and remove all shards of glass. Imagine the implications, let's turn this around before someone gets hurt.

Great location and quick turn around work when my Mitsubishi Eclipse was broken into on the Oregon coast. No one else had passenger window glass that would fit, so we accelerated our road trip slightly to make it to Seattle and it was well worth it. They also gave me a Progressive customer discount even though the cost was well under my deductible.

I had my car serviced recently for a small rock chip. I chose to use safelite and make my request via the internet. I was very pleased with how user friender the site was. I was able to to schedule a date and get a quote very quickly. The woman who performed the work,Trinity, had an excellent personality. She was very easy to conduct business with. She sent me a text the morning of the service to let me know she would be on time and what her name was as well as her photo. I really liked this heads up. During the time she was with us, she provided my son and I with lots of useful information about safelite services and insurance tips. My son happened to mention that he needed new wipers. Trinity said she could provide the service at a more than reasonable cost and happened to have the blades on her. Also, before beginning the repairs, Trinity told us she was able to do the chip repair for less than quoted. Who doesn't like learning they get to save a little money? The actual work was done quickly and efficiently. As we were parting, Trinity gave us a hug. I'm very pleased with my experience and definately will use again in the future.

I've had a couple windshields replaced here. If you have a Subaru with Eye-site then you will need to have your system calibrated along with your windshield replacement. Safelite does both at the same time.

This place is in the SoDo District and a tad hard to find if you're using a GPS so once you get to the vicinity it's better to look for the Safelite sign. Can't say it is perfect eveytime, however, this time of replacing the Rear Passenger Door Glass are surprisingly okay. They still need to work on their online-live time line as it is not accurate at all, and taking off one star as the window were not completely Flushed with the frame which there are gap allowing sound to get it, not air tight yet. So is okay
