Got new 17in wheels and 34in tires along with a suspension kit put on my Tacoma. Everything came out great, prices were super fair. The only nitpicky thing is they were slammed over the weekend so took 2 full days to dial everything in. Try to schedule during a slower time in the week.

This place really is great, I’ve worked in automotive dealers for 22 years now and the service I have received here is phenomenal, this Is my second dealing with them and both times have been really great. First time I bought some tires and wheels and this time was a simple snow tire install. They were really busy, let me know an eta ahead of time and beat the eta. We waited in the customer lounge and watched some of the interactions with other customers and everyone was treated with respect no matter how small or large the question was. They take the time in making sure you understand what you’re getting and what you’re paying for. I will definitely be back! Thanks Ahns crew!

So far, I've only done fender rolling/pulling but these guys have been phenomenal. They have body work down to a science, and that's rad af. Everyone is incredibly nice. From the first phone call to the most recent, their customer service is personalized and well thought out. Once I was checked in, I was immediately informed that my car's fenders weren't able to be rolled due to poor design of the bumper connecting to the quarter panel, and so we went with the fender pull. Since I have zero brain cells and couldn't figure out why I was still scrubbing afterwards, we realized that my bumper was starting to make contact with my tires, and fixed that perfectly, at no additional charge, as well as diagnosed why my car queefs on curbs lmfao. The only downsides I could ever possibly imagine is that Ahns Custom & Vinyl have now allowed me to plow the roads with my incredibly slow car. :)

Great customer service and excellent work completed quickly. It’s always nice to find a new small business that you can rely on to get a job done. They completed a ~50% ppf and full tint in one business day. Stayed open a little past close to get me my model Y back to me in time. Road trip coming up soon and there was never any concern about getting it done in time. Maybe a little more expensive than I would have liked, but this is reputable shop who does good work. Take a chance on someone else if you’re penny pinching service like this on a nice vehicle. Friends of mine have had similar work done here and ended up pleased with the results. Will consider getting more work done here going forward.

I brought my truck in to have a lift kit installed and the team at Ahns did a great job even though they ran into a few challenges with getting the kit to fit correctly. During the install they also recommended to replace the front struts and rear shocks as they were in need of replacement and the team did a great job with everything and the truck looks fantastic!! Will definitely be a return customer for future truck needs.

Extremely friendly folk that went beyond just the task and made me aware of a few other issues. One of the biggest positives is the shop is a quick walk to the asian supermarket for a quick lunch! Went and got my fenders rolled today and didn’t even get out of the parking lot before hearing ear piercing rubbing from my driver rear tire. They bent the inside of my fender to where it’s cutting into my tire. NEVER USE THEM FOR FENDER ROLLING *edit: owner reached out to fix their mistake and haven’t had any issues since and very appreciative and satisfied*

If I could give 10 stars, I would. A few months back I put a really good lookin package of bronze Alpha Wheels and Toyo Tires on ol' Betty White the Tundra. Ahns found me a screamin deal on the package and I was out the door for just under 2k. Stephanie is amazing with customer service, as well as the rest of the crew. They have a great shop and I will definitely be a returning customer as well as recommend Ahns to all my friends.

So happy I found Ahns on KSL Classifieds because I would have never found this great company hidden in the backroads of South Salt Lake. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. I have a Model Y Tesla and was trying to go with more rubber and less wheel and they knew exactly what would work and what would’t. They also stocked the OEM tire pressure monitoring sensors. Lots of great wheel brands represented there, and in stock like Method, Sparco, and others. No long lines. The friendly tech took care to cover seats in plastic and bag tires to keep the car clean during transport, and the pressure and balancing were perfect on the studded Nokian tires they mounted for me. Will be back to tint my car and any other wheel needs.

Took my new 2018 Honda Civic Sport in to get the windows tinted and a green and black vinyl wrap done. It took some time, mostly because the Green Vinyl was delayed due to the Hurricane in Florida. However, Zach takes his time and makes sure the jobs gets done correctly, nothing rushed here, so patience is key. Took about 10 days total. However, it is well worth the wait and well worth the price! Zach and everyone at Ahn's Custom is very easy to work with and you can tell they have a passion for what they do. Zach also stands behind his work. I took the car back in after having it a week to ask him some questions on how to take care of it and to point out a few blips, he noticed the problems before I even had time to point them out and he fixed it at no charge. He also changed a piece of Vinyl from black to green as well free of charge! He does take care of his customers. I'll definitely be coming back here for tires and any other custom car work. They put the tires on the wheels I had then put them on the car and put the summer tires in the trunk and bagged them so they wouldn’t make a mess. Excellent value as well. This place is amazing. I was having trouble with the fitment of my new wheels - they were scraping on the fenders when I put them on and I was scrambling to find someone to roll them for me on short notice. I don't remember the guy's name who helped me out but I believe he said he was a manager. When I called they said they would be able to get it done for me by the end of the day, and it was already almost 2:00. They did a great job performing the work I requested and finished within the time frame they quoted me, even though they said they were a little backed up. Awesome service and great value for the work they performed. Thanks guys!

As a vinyl place, I assume they're great. I've seen this place grow substantially from when they first opened. However, as a mechanic shop... It's not so great. They don't pay attention to staggered offset wheels and will mount them wrong. When I brought my Cadillac in, I paid for a diagnosis for a suspension clunk/roar and an alignment. They diagnosed my clunk as strut tops and the roar as tires. I replaced the tops and tires, but nothing changed, so I brought it back and it got shrugged off and I got told "We don't know what it is". So why did I pay for a diagnosis if it's not diagnosed? On the alignment, they didn't even touch my camber which is what really needed to be adjusted since one side is visibly more negative than the other and destroying tires. I assume that was because they don't have the special tool for adjusting the camber but still... It's frustrating to pay for something and not get any of it done and then have to go to the dealership and pay for it all again anyways, and a dealership alignment is $300. The roar ended up being the camber on the front drivers side wearing the tires, and the clunk ended up being tie rods (which Ahns said were completely fine despite being the OEM ones from 2009 with 150k on them) Vinyl Shop ✅ Mechanic Shop ❌

I was referred here by a friend that was referred by a friend. We got new tires which I know isn't their forte but I wouldn't be surprised if it became a major part of their business. The customer service was amazing. I was surprised by how nice & accommodating they were. Also, they took as much time as I needed to explain the differences between products to me. We've now referred many others here & have all our cars tires replaced here. I still shop around before purchasing & their prices are competitive with the big box stores. I’m always looking for a good mechanic shop This one totally surprised me I needed a spare tire mounted and set up They did a great job and during the waiting period I Observed how they interacted with customers and they took time to answer questions ,shop is very clean and professional not like some places that look you sit where the lug nuts are stored. Yesterday I purchased and had AHNS install my winter tires. The tires were a better price than I could find anywhere else in the valley and the service was incredible. They were able to take my truck right away and complete the switch in 30 mins. A coupe time techs came out to let me know about some items they were worried about, but there was never an upsell, so I was very appreciative. I would highly recommend using this company.

Super good guys here! Honest, super willing to help. I had them do a flat repair and an oil change. They found the valve stems was simply lose and didn't charge me for it. I also had them do an oil change and it turns out my filter I got from the BMW dealer was incorrect, they went and swapped it for me. I will undoubtedly be returning to this shop for my future alignment I need and new tires. They are a stand-up team and will be getting my business again

Got ceramic window tint for the Hellcat. They did a good job & it was quick. They also did the tint after someone chucked a rock & broke my front windshield. Okay I'm just going to start by saying these guys are freaking awesome! My wife's 2020 4runner had a bad will that came off her car I needed to be replaced. My wife had a super busy schedule the next day I could not afford to have her car out of commission. Not only did AHN help me out to get the job done until 7:20 p.m. they also were you able to match her rims with the black t r d rims with your super hard to come by and on national backorder. I'm telling you, mechanic shops like this just do not exist anymore! These guys were fast, fair price, workmanship exceeding any dealership I've ever been to, super knowledgeable, and got the job done late at night and in less than 45 minutes. They've made me a customer for life. Hands down one of the best shops in town oh, if you're not using these guys you're missing out. Shout out to Shane and the rest of the crew for getting me out of a bind.

It was also very convenient for me to come in whenever instead of having to make an appointment. When I first entered the shop, I was very impressed with the professionalism of the place and employees. I was in and out fairly quick, with new tires on my car. Through the process I was continually being updated on the status of the install, which was nice. I highly recommend this place.

We went with ahns after getting a reasonable quote for some tires and suspension work. They were very friendly and professional to my wife and made her feel comfortable while she was there. We ended up having an issue a day or two later, they got the car back in the shop quickly and worked fast to diagnose, resolve and communicate with us what the issue was. They went above and beyond in the quality of service, communication, and professionalism. We will be going back for other work in the future. As a side note they specialize in custom work and graphics on performance and off-road vehicles. Great shop. Good folks.

I’ve been coming to Ahns for a several years now, I’ve purchased tires for my truck, and few different BMW’s (E46 zhp, E90 328i E90 335xi and F10 550i) easily the best prices around, I’ve had them do alignments on the my vehicles and this Saturday a wrap on my F10. I can really appreciate the quality vs quantity, Ahns always has business yet they manages to get me taken care of no matter if I make an appointment or just show up. The crew at Ahns earned my respect by being strait forward, great at what they do and informative, the cost are extremely reasonable and they never shy away from taking car/shop talk! If you haven’t been to Ahns yet you’re wasting time and money! I have been in the shop a few times. They have rolled and pulled my rear fender and done some custom vinyl wrapping (chrome delete) around my grill. As someone who knows enough about cars to get by but definitely not an expert, I feel they take good care of me and don’t take advantage of me. They answer my questions and are very friendly. Oh also I live in Boise now and made a trip down because I couldn’t find a place in Idaho I trusted and I knew Ahns would take care of me. When I first got my fenders rolled and pulled, I had just installed some wider wheels and they poke when I was expecting/hoping for flush fitment. I needed the rear rolled and pulled ASAP and couldn’t find shops that would get me in sooner than a week wait. My apt driveway was gnarly and the suspension compressed every time going in and out so each day was more potential tire damage. When I called Ahns, they worked me in like two days after I called. I had an appointment somewhere else for like 10 days out and then canceled that. Overall I have been very satisfied and will definitely recommend them for your automotive needs!

Took my 2022 Tesla MYP in for winter tires. They’re on national back order through Tesla so Zach recommended an alternate wheel and tire package that would work. Of course Tesla changed the TPM modality to Bluetooth so the TPMs he had on hand didn’t work. So the service took a lot longer than he expected. He and his brother were very accommodating to us, getting my wife a ride home and getting me picked up to come back later that night. I failed to follow the 6 P’s and Ahns was there to help resolve my issue. I had a trip coming up and my tires were pretty dry rotted, sidewall was cracked and split all over. This was discovered Saturday night around 6PM, they close at 7. I called and Crystal was very helpful. They had the tire size I needed, got all the info, and told me if I could make it in 15 minutes that they could get me in. I got there and they got the tires on and everything done in about 30 min. Dropped my car off at 11am and it was done by 3pm like they said. 11/10 for customer service. I had tint done on one of my cars and it was done very well. Still have no problems with it. I brought in another car to have my fenders rolled and pulled. They were not done very well as they were very wavy and paint was chipping all over. I talked to Zach after this had happened and he was very nice although I didn't agree with what had happened. I'm not sure if I would go back for my fenders to be rolled, but for tint I would definitely recommend. I cant say for other services but I'm sure they would be awesome.

I was there about an hour. They took care to cover my seat with plastic and the floor with a paper mat. As for the tires, the price was right for sure, time will tell how they last. Zach offered me a great price on a set of four tires for my Acura TL (235/45Z 17 97W). 2. They actually know what they're talking about. They were able to tell me what each letter and number represented on the tire. 3. The small business reeks of passion! I love it! Walking into the lobby and talking to the people there leaves you knowing that they're in the business because the business is part of them (if that makes sense for some of you). 4. There wasn't anything even slightly sketchy about how they dealt with me and my vehicle. Overall, I would highly recommend this company with your vehicle. (Keep in mind that if you want more intensive work like a timing belt replaced on your vehicle, then you need a Japanese make for them).

Where to start. I messaged the owner Zach about a lift kit and wheel/tire combo for my 1997 Toyota 4runner. He replied with all sorts of different ideas and different wheels til we found the right ones within my budget. Finally the day came when I was able to bring my car in to get the upgraded suspension and all sorts of other goodies included in my quote but not limited to -Lower ball joints -upper control arms - lift kit and install -wheels and tires Throughout my experience he was very good at communicating problems found. The first one being the lift manufacturer sent the wrong lift kit to his shop. This was a huge deal because I was on a time crunch. Being I dropped it off on Friday and needed it back Sunday. Though the time crunch was not met under no fault of his and his company. He called every surrounding shop and store offering any type of 4x4 services to get the lift in as soon as possible. We were finally able to locate a lift and get it in. During the installation process he sent me pictures of concerns and things that needed attention including - Sway bar end links he swapped for free - a bolt needing to be rethreaded on my power steering rack (a huge hazard) that he fixed for free - an oil change that he did for free - topped off any fluids for free This company jumped through serious hoops to get my vehicle back to me as soon as possible. I will not reccomend another mechanic in Salt Lake or even Utah Valley that has offered and given better service to me and my wife than this company right here. I highly reccomend them, if you plan on having any work done look no further.

Where do I even begin. I'm a visiting medical student from Nevada, so with a short time frame, its never easy getting anything done outside of work and school. It was time for new tires, and my car was lowered, so I figured it would be a good time to get everything fixed up proper for a DD. I had gone to an outside shop (who I wont mention at this time, we'll see how they make up their mistake) to get my coilovers fixed along with my lower control arms. Next day I get new tires put on from dealer (who also put my directional tires on the wrong way, which I would not have known thanks to Zach and his close attention to detail for telling me!!!). I head to Ahns for help. Turned out, outside shop seized my control arms causing rear camber to be stuck at positive 3 degrees... yes positive 3 degrees. The whole staff took my messy situation and turned it right side up. Originally called at noon to see availability, got in same day for suspension and alignment! What was supposed to take 1 hour, turned into a nightmare for me and Zach, but Zach took his time and ended up staying later than the shop closed to help me get my car driving and all fixed up. I stayed 3 hours after shop closed and I was the last customer, but he wanted to make sure I was able to leave the shop and drive my car! That was going above and beyond. He takes things into his own hands and really cares about his customers. He then advised me to come back next day to get everything dialed in and make sure everything was perfect. Since then, we finally got the car all fixed up, I had to get new control arms, but not because of Ahns. I got my tires all fixed up, my suspension all dialed in, alignment all complete, and if I'm being very honest, I was charged way less than the time Zach and his staff actually helped me out. I will FOREVER be grateful for Ahns, their team is superior, their expertise and attention to detail are unmatched. If it wasnt for them, I would have thrown thousands of dollars down the drain. I've never written a review for any business, but seeing Zach work so hard and for so long even after shop hours had me almost in tears. Being a medical student, I understand long hours, but for owning a business and growing it to where I can see Ahns going, I can respect that so much and I can only pray that Ahns will be the best shop in SLC very very soon! You guys have earned my business for life.

Was explained the difference between the different types of tint to get, the benefits, and the cost difference. Very straight forward with price and knew what I would be paying. The time waiting for my tint was as expected as far as giving me a time estimate and handled quickly. My only *slight* complaint that I may have is that my car was returned to me a bit dirty but it should be expected for the process of applying the tint. No big deal. Overall great service and great job.

My new regular shop. I had coilovers installed here on my 2009 Si and, since lowering/stance can be a tricky beast, it takes some time, adjustment and multiple alignments, and time usually means money. But they simply charged me one time for the job, for fender rolling, coilover installation and alignment, instead of other shops that will riiiip you the hell off by charging by the hour and inevitably dragging their feet, costing you money. They worked on my car for half a day, I picked it up at the end of the night, still needing adjustment, and I was able to bring it back the following day for further adjustment and another alignment without a dollar out of pocket, and got it all dialed in. All said and done, cost me less than $500, which is less than you’d pay for all that at most other shops anyway, and that’s without considering the extra work they put in the second day. Zach and his whole operation are top notch. I’ll be back next time I need something done for sure!

My clutch took a dive on me about a week ago. I originally went to Carmax to have it diagnosed. When I bought my car I had purchased a warranty and my initial hope was that my problem would be included under their coverage. Well, that wasn’t the case and after 3 days I heard back and they explained it wouldn’t be covered and quoted me 1,870.59 to have the work done. The first shop I called after receiving that quote was Ahn’s. I spent no more than 2 minutes on the phone with Courtney and she had found a better clutch for less. She quoted me 1,198.07 out the door and even when they ran into complications, they were able to sand down a piece to get it to work rather than taking an additional 2 weeks to order the part. My time and customer satisfaction was at the top of their priority list throughout this repair. I trust Ahn’s and I will be coming back for years to come!!

Originally I had just gone in for a quote to get my tail lights tinted and some coil over suspension work on my Subaru, and ended up even doing a set Toyo RTs for my Cummins the same day since they gave me a better price than I could find ANYWHERE which saved me hundreds. Ahn’s removed my stock wheels, removed tires and tire pressure sensors and installed them onto my new wheels then mounted and balanced the wheel’s and put them on my car. These guys are awesome. About 2 months ago when my crosstrek needed a new clutch I took my car there. I was extremely happy with the work done, the cost, the time, and the customer service, they picked me up from work and brought me back to my car when it was all finished. Yesterday my cv axle blew out on me, and my lower ball joint sheared off, I was stranded, It was a rough morning. I called to make sure they could get my car in, and they said "no problem", I got a tow, and dropped it off. They called to let me know that the other cv axel was about to go out and gave me a price, For new OEM parts it was going to be a lot, but I learned my lesson by buying cv axles from oreilly's. Zach did some checking around, and found a great set of OEM axles for an even better price. Called to let me know, and I got them installed. He even took off the price of the alignment. Looking for a place to install a lift kit on my Forester, after sending emails and getting on the phone with the "big guys" NOBODY called me back to tell me how much would that be, I stumbled upon an AHNS ad in FB Marketplace and I sent them a message, they wrote back really quickly ,with a quote that was fair, I went there to get it done and Zack was really honest on How long it would take , they had a little problem while installing the lift kit on my car, but never hid that from me ,they told me they made a mistake and they would fix it, they were straightforward and honest, they solved the problem in a timely manner, I was so happy with all this that I decided to buy my AT tires there,I got a really nice set to make my subie look really tough, it is really difficult to find places with honest service , they treated me greatly and I am really happy with the results, I fully recommend this place
