Was honestly skeptical at first. Extremely attentive staff, decent selection overall though water pipes could definitely include more style variation, prices seemed a little high but to be expected considering the area. I purposely bought a cheap Tsunami grinder which for the price has done very well so far. My friend on the other hand purchased a cartridge and a battery pen which I could tell had been used the second it came out of the package; residue in the threads, heat marks towards the top, scuffs all around, the paint around the button had been worn off from previous use, and most untolerable; it wouldn't turn on. I work at another smoke shop so went through every way to test it, then resigned to one of us needed to go return it. When I explained this to the counter staff they didn't really have any idea on how to approach the issue, they brought it to show the manager who then also tested it (kinda concerning that they may have given us back the used pen again, but thankfully not what happened) she came out and immediately offered a replacement as well as let me open and test the pen there to be sure it was working. The situation didn't begin great but considering I brought it back without a receipt and the manager immediately rectified the issue, I'd say I'm pretty content with my experience there. Would recommend inspecting & testing any electronic devices purchased before you leave but still worth a trip in!

Good vape selection. BEST kratom selection and pricing in the area for sure. The employees are all super nice and helpful, and they all know a lot about their products, which is great because a lot of smoke shop workers don’t. I love the vibes in there. Good glass selection and great deals on glass (and on all their products, really). My go-to smoke shop!!!

Good shop however I was going to get ELFBARs Vapes but now I got Friendly Discount Westbrook Maine because they sell them there for $16.99 which is awesome they are real I have checked the QR codes to make sure before buying I mean if you buy 3 at wild side you get 10% discount but even with the discount it is still way cheaper than buying them there. And you can get all of what you can get for flavors so check out Friendly Discount Westbrook Maine. But if you are shopping for anything else go-to wild side I'm just trying to help people out on the price of Vapes...

Great deals and value can’t find the products I use for cheaper anywhere else in Portland. Even over the bridge in South Portland the prices are higher for the vapes that I use (around 8$ here vs 13$ in South Portland). They work great too. Also the staff is super warm and welcoming. Jessie is usually there when I go in, they are consistently charming and knowledgeable.

Omg is this a great glass shop! Of the 3 times I’ve been, recently, I’ve never been disappointed by either the store or it’s employees. They are exceptionally well informed about the products they sell and, if they don’t know the answer to your question, they go out of their way to find it. In this day, when customer service has become an endangered species, this shop rises to the challenge. Makes you look for more reasons to stop back in to see what new toys they have!

I can't help but like this place, even though they don't carry any non-salt liquid over 6mg, or they at least couldn't find me any. You're not going to find any deals that can compete with any shop online, but the staff is friendly and helpful. if you’re looking for guidance and expertise for anything in the world of vaping or smoking weed, this is by far the spot to visit. all staff members are incredibly knowledgeable, especially the manager. i went here for my first vape and have literally never gone to another spot, these folks are second to none! very good selection of both vape juices and glassware with a constant rotation of very tempting deals, i couldn’t stop coming here if i wanted to!

I'm from the Boston area and visited the store on vacation so I cannot speak as a Portland resident. It seems like they have a wide variety of glass and smoking supplies for a reasonable price. Unfortunately I cannot give this store higher than three stars because of the salesperson working. It was the young man with the large gauges. He was extremely pushy and kept trying to upsell me even after I gave him a firm price range. I told him I wasn't looking to spend a lot of money. I was surprised when the first piece showed me was a Faberge egg. He very obviously wasn't willing to be real with me. Over the course of the transaction he kept trying to upsell me over and over and over again after I made it clear I had a firm price range. I did end up making a purchase as I had broken my travel rig on my trip and they had offered a buy one get one 50% off sale on glass. I want to reiterate it seems like this store has quality glass and reasonable prices just that the salesman was overly aggressive. This is coming from someone dealing with massholes everyday.

UPDATE: I'm so grateful I found this place for kratom. In just a month, I've gotten to know Connor, Cameron, and Jessie... ALL of whom have been incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They treat me like a friend when I show up, which I can't say happens with other head shops or smoke shops in Portland. I can honestly say that this is the only place I'll go when getting kratom, because they have the best prices and best people.. bar none. I used to go to a couple other head shops in Portland to get kratom. Not any more, anytime I need kratom, I will now go to Wild Side Smoke shop on Portland Street in Portland. I used to spend thousands of dollars on kratom at Awear, and then at Lucky Ju Ju. Neither place gave me any kind of discount or reward for loyalty. I happened to stop by this new place, Wild Side, on Saturday the 17th of June. Cameron, the manager, not only gave me a discount, he also gave me a loyalty reward card for buying kratom. The best part? I used to spend $40 at Lucky Ju Ju on 30 caps of kratom. I used to spend $30 for it at Awear. But at Wild Side Smoke shop, I bought 50 caps of Kratom Therapy for just $24. By FAR, this is the lowest price for kratom in Portland, because you not only save $10 to $20 per bottle, you get twice as much capsules of kratom. I will now only get my kratom at Wild Side in Portland, because of how Cameron treated me when I went in Friday, after being turned away at Awear. I have used kratom for 5 years, and have spent a LOT of money on it, so I will now go to Wild Side for my kratom, instead of the higher priced head shops in the old port. Cameron seems like a younger guy, but this dude knows his stuff, and more important, he treated me like I was an important person to him. He won my business in just 10 minutes... so thank you Cameron! If you're looking to buy kratom in Portland ME, I totally recommend going to see Cameron at Wild Side. Not only will you get more kratom, it's the lowest price of anywhere in Portland... and I know because I've been buying it for 5 years, from every place in Portland. Wild Side's prices and how they treated me won my business.
