While traveling, 2.5 hours from home, the glass of our sunroof tore completely off, revealing a rusted frame. The staff of this Portland glass had their smooth sticky plastic covering the gaping hole in less than 15 minutes. Just in time for this dreary gray day to turn into a rainy one! And they didn’t even charge us. 🥹 Alex was particularly helpful in giving us directions regarding how to go about the permanent repair at a location closer to our home. We are so thankful!

Was visiting from out of town when my rear side window was smashed out by a thief in a parking garage, I called Portland glass of Portland as soon as they opened, they sourced a glass within a couple of hours and has us back on the road by noon. It was a rainy day and they put a stick-on film over the window opening while we went and got breakfast. Easy to deal with as they dealt directly with GEICO and they had it done in under an hour once the part showed up. They Made what initially seemed like a major inconvenience a minor bump in the road along our travels. Thank you Portland Glass of Portland.

I am more than pleased with my experience having the windshield on my Tacoma replaced by Portland Glass. After being greeted in a warm manner by the lady doing the order, I was treated with respect and professionalism. The installation was scheduled for 8:00 AM the following morning and my truck was taken in with no wait. As promised, the job was completed in a little over than an hour. I was pleased to find the interior clean with no mess from the installation. Excellent job! Kudos to Portland Glass!

Outstanding service from start to finish. Professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I opted for OEM glass and they helped navigate insurance issues. Perfect installation with no issues. My insurance company is affiliated with nationwide chain (starts with "S", ends with "afelite"), but it was impossible to speak with an individual there to make sure I was getting the right replacement option. PG made it easy. Highly recommend.

What appeared to be a simple glass replacement became quite a challenge as my windows are all wood and made in Canada. So required attention to detail and patience. The young professional they came to my home and worked on it did an outstanding job he took his time he did not hurt the frame or compromise it in anyway he’ll place the glass and then replace the trim and its original places. He did a stupendous job he cleaned up after himself he was incredibly professional. Just so impressed I would use Portland glass again in a minute

Brand new vehicle with cracked windshield from a rock. Rain sensitive and noise canceling glass. We used Portland Glass windows when we built our home in 1995. 25 years later they are still in great shape. Unfortunately, as life happens, we broke one! They were able to fix the glass with very little impact to life or home. It looks great, you'd never know it was broken and I still love the windows. The window quality is excellent. Their repair team was great. Fast, efficient repair at a good price. Very happy customer. Even the dog liked the tech and he normally barks at everyone. Kudos for impressing the canine too!

My experience at Portland Glass with my windshield replacement was excellent. There was an issue with my insurance claim, I think regarding coverage for recalibrating the sensor on the windshield. Virginia called my insurance company with me on the line and got the claim sorted out. When I was unable to pick up my car from PG on Friday afternoon, Virginia generously met me at the PG location with my keys on Saturday morning. The work looks great. I chose PG because it's local and for the one-year damage guarantee, which covers any road damage to the window without additional replacement costs. Very happy, and felt valued throughout the experience.

Thanks to winter I had a power line fall on my back window and the good old state of maine doesn't cover glass for insurance, I was looking at a bill of over 400$ from Safelite I remembered the great service I got from the Ellsworth location so I decided I'd call to see if they'd beat satellites price which they did. A defective peice of glass was installed and when I realized it was an issue Bob the store manager did everything he could to work with my schedule and fix the problem to keep a customer Even though I was very upset. Long story short if you ever have an issue they will work with you and help you out. Thanks PG sorry I'm a difficult person. thanks Bob

Pretty simple and easy process of getting my windshield replaced. Called them up, they had me have my insurance send them the info needed and the scheduled me for the job. 2 Weeks later a tech shows up at my work I hand him the keys and he has the job done within an hour. Short, sweet, and simple.

I called to setup an appointment to replace our car's windshield and was given an appointment within 1 day of the windshield being cracked. We only paid our deductible and they handled our insurance claim for us. We were in and out within 2.5 hours and the front desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
