KVN Construction replaced our 20+ year old roof, and upgraded our original (1979) house siding to James Hardie siding. We also elected for a gutter installation over our front entry, which was non-existent beforehand. The roof replacement is a far superior product and the craftsmanship, such as the proper ventilation system is top notch. KVN Construction explained their process in depth, and gives you options based on your preference and budget. However they will demonstrate the differences in material's performance from good, better, and best options offered. The KVN Construction crews are diligent to adapt to your projects requests. The paint specialist (Mary) helped us find and select our dream exterior paint colors and accents for trim. Our family has the peace of mind and ability to breathe a whole lot easier knowing the leaks and mold are gone. We're pleased to have chosen KVN Construction to remodel our house!

I had KVN do a complete exterior replacement of my house down to the plywood sheathing. They replaced the doors, windows, building wrap, siding & gutters and completed with a new paint scheme. They also were kind enough to demolish the old deck while on site (extra cost, but well worth the money) and haul away all the debris. Kirill stayed engaged from early contract questions through final closeout documents (and the financing). Alex helped with the estimate and scope, Zack coordinated the schedule and logistics, Javier kept an eye on the schedule and the various crews and Luis lead the boots on the ground day to day. I would definitely use this company again, but probably won't need to for another 30-years.

We are very happy we went with KVN for our siding, gutter, and painting needs. We bought an older hole that needed alot of work and Kirill and the team were great through the whole process from start to finish. I wish we would have had them do the roof too :) But they were great at communicating with the other roofing company during our replacement to make sure everything would work with the siding install :) Also the attention to detail was amazing! We went with bright colors for the house and we were impressed the the paint job and the details they did under the porch and their ability to work around our wisteria.

I contracted in spring of 2022 with KVN for new James Hardie siding and painting of my duplex townhome. From the first interview by the owner of KVN Construction, I was impressed with the company. I had interviewed three other companies, none of which provided the knowledge, written materials, comprehensive photos and drawings of work to be done. Because of the poor original downspout downspout/soffit design, there was a lot of water damage in hidden places in the building. The KVN team designed a soffit and downspout structure to provide excellent and appropriate drainage. In addition to their excellent work, the skilled team members were great to have around. The team manager always answered my questions. My phone calls and texts were responded to promptly, and I was always consulted when unexpected issues arose. The painting company that KVN assigned to paint the siding was equally excellent, responsive, and accommodating. Amazingly, the cost of the project was less than bids of inferior companies. Recently, I had the exterior lights and other fixtures reinstalled. The installers commented on the excellent workmanship of the project. I recommend KVN Construction highly and without reservation. We were very pleased with our experience with KVN. Their personnel - from the sales people to trades to project managers - were all very professional and personable. When the gutter installation took place we were traveling unexpectedly and due to our limited communication while on the road, we didn't fully understand the change order quote when we decided to upgrade the gutter size. Because of this we ended up with smaller downspouts than we expected. When we were unhappy with the end result, they made it right at no cost to us. The owner is very hands-on and accommodating and helped us to feel comfortable with the additional work being done. KVN resided my house with Hardie plank and they contracted the painters that followed up the residing. I would definitely hire them again and I'd recommend them to others. They did exactly what they said they'd do, communicated well, and were very conscientious. My Father In-law is a water infiltration consultant in the Bay Area and he thinks the guys did a nice job on my house. To me, that's about all that needs to be said. One more thing: the reason I chose KVN over three other contractors was the time that Oleg took to answer questions and offer suggestions and professional advice. Other contractors came to my house and spent an hour in my living room trying to convince why I should hire them. Oleg spent an hour and a half with me surveying the OUTSIDE of my house, telling me what KVN could do for me.

Enter KVN construction the savior of 27 years of a NW weather beating on this old house. They bought their A-game of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and professionalism to my project and design wishes. Daniel, gave me the details and choices for my project, Oleg was a good critique of my design, Zack, Luis, the siders, the roofers, Leo, Carlos, and Sergio, are all top notch in their trades. The site was tidy at the days end. The project moved along in about 6 weeks. I highly recommend their company, and 30 years of experience.

From the time we met Daniel during our initial review of needs until we received the final invoice from Kirill, we were impressed with the professionalism of both the management team (Daniel, Zac and Kirill) and the teams doing the actual work. Throughout the whole process EVERYONE was focused on making/keeping us happy! The James Hardie Siding System was installed: 7" Lap (cedar mill) + Trim (smooth); Weathersmart (yellow house-wrap) fastened with green stinger caps; Double flashing system above windows; Stainless steel fasteners; 30 Year James Hardie LIFETIME warranty; Exterior paint (Sherwin Williams Superpaint - 3 color scheme (body + accent + trim). The two man team (Alex and Jack Torau) who did the siding work were good communicators who made sure there were no surprises for us. They were hard working, polite and considerate and did meticulous cleanup every night. The quality of their work was excellent. KVN scheduled the job so that it would fit in with a trip we had planned. The timeline of the project (siding: Demolition started on 2/24; Completion paperwork signed 3/19; painting: Power wash on 4/11; Painting completed 4/16) was very reasonable. The result is beautiful and has attracted many compliments from the neighbors.

We hired KVN to replace windows and siding on a wall that had been leaking persistently. During our initial discussions, Kirill made several suggestions which ultimately made the finished job better. The crew that actually did the work were friendly, neat, and very competent. They kept us informed and answered all of our questions. We had expected some internal wall damage - and weren't disappointed. While the crew was fixing that, they found the earthquake straps were connected to the sheathing only - not to framing members. They fixed that as they went along. They did their best to minimize the impact on the interior walls, which was appreciated. The only frustration we had was the time it took the painters to get here to finish the job. That was ultimately a small annoyance and their work completed an update/repair we are very happy with. We would readily recommend KVN.

This was our second time working with KVN! We've struggled with an eight year old leaky roof for the past year and a half that we've owned our home, so when we discovered that our roof had been installed by the previous homeowner and a friend, we knew we needed a replacement. KVN replaced our siding last summer and did such a wonderful job, we called them for a quote on our roof. We really appreciated Kirill's knowledge of the roofing materials and his explanation of how the products performed and were installed. Kirill was the only estimator to even get on our roof! After going through well over a half dozen estimates that were generated by home advisor, Angie's list, and next door I spoke with a representative, Kirill from KVN construction. He produced a reasonable quote that accomplished what I needed done. Once the contract was signed I was contacted by Zach the project manager and within a week they started on my house. The work was completed by two very personable and friendly gentlemen, Irving and Abel. They arrived promptly at the agreed time and worked quietly and courteously. They answered questions and addressed any concerns we had. Eventually I will be upgrading from my T1-11 to a composite. I will probably be going with KVN because of my pleasant experience with them.

I just had my roof completely replaced by KVN, including all plywood, and I'm very pleased with the result and price. Mold had been discovered in the attic of my 12 year old house, so this was an big unexpected surprise and expense. As a first time home owner, this was my first major home repair. A friend at work said KVN had done their siding and recommended them as a skilled and trustworthy company. I met with three companies for estimates, and I'm so glad I went with KVN. From the beginning I was impressed with Kirill's professionalism and attention to detail. He was patient and thorough in answering all of my questions about the process, products, and what to expect. Once the project began it only took the team 3 days from start to finish. The team was courteous and hardworking. Though I never met the project manager, Kirill was great in answering my texts during the job. He even came out to meet with me personally to review the job after it was complete. They installed all new plywood, ridge and edge vents, and fixed the airflow around the insulation in my vaulted ceiling, and each day they cleaned up any debris before they left. I'm grateful for their help in getting this issue fixed, and I would definitely recommend KVN for anyone's roofing needs.

Unlike several other local companies, Kirill from KVN responded very quickly and was almost immediately available to come give an estimate. I was already deep into the demo, reframing, and window replacement work myself, and I felt no pressure at all from Kirill to have his company finish those jobs. KVN just completely re-did my roof (old, and designed by a blind woodsman, so far as I can tell). I chose KVN because they were a smaller company that I felt would provide better service, and I was correct. Kirill came out to do a free quote and provide a run-down on their service and cost-estimate. He was professional, friendly, and most importantly to me he didn't do any kind of hard-sell. Once they started his team was professional and kept to their schedule. The project was in Oregon and I live in Maine. Even being far away, I felt great about my decision to use KVN. My only two disappointments were 1) despite a verbal commitment and a signed contract, they would not add my home to their project list until 1/3 of the project estimate was in their hand and 2) I was asked to approve a change order and I specifically asked for a photo of the completed work. That photo never came. I asked for it later and was sent a photo but not one that showed what I was asking for.

KVN Construction did an amazing job on our home. It turned out wonderful. Better than we had pictured in our heads. We had our home resided with Hardie plank siding, had a rock vaneer installed on the front of the home along with new gutters and down spouts. Ivan and his crew were great and very friendly. The left the work area clean and safe every evening. We live on a small farm with lots of animals and dogs. They were very careful as to not let any of the animals escape. I remember one day my son was riding his bike out back on the gravel and his chain broke one of the crew stopped what he was doing and helped him fix his bike. My son still talks about this. The communication between the job foreman was great. Any time there was a problem we were notified before they proceeded. There patience was great, with the rock vaneer we kept changing our minds on what we wanted and it was no problem for them. All they wanted was the job done right and us to be happy with it. As a designer I was very nervous to start an exterior remodel on my own home. All of the siding contractors I worked with wanted to push the one brand of windows and siding that they happen to rep on me. KVN was willing to let me do my own product research and even mix and match products for a custom job. They spent the most time in premeasuring the house for the bid so I knew he was not just tossing a number at it. I could not be any more impressed with KVN's professionalism and craftsmanship. I called KVN and a couple other places for an estimate to replace our entire roof, which was very poorly installed and very leaky. Kirill came out weeks before I could get appointments with anyone else, and I was so impressed with his thoroughness and reasonable quote that I cancelled the other two appointments. I'm happy I did. The process could not have gone any more smoothly. They started exactly when Kirill said they would. Every team member I met was friendly and courteous. Kirill stayed in touch throughout and texted me photos when they discovered that our existing sheathing was wet and covered in mold and would have to be completely replaced. In spite of that setback, they actually finished a day before Kirill initially estimated they would. They cleaned up after every day's work and the final cleaning was so thorough that there was no evidence of their presence other than a new roof. Seriously – they didn't leave a single nail or splinter behind. I crawled into our attic today to re-attach the ducts leading from our bathrooms to the roof vents and discovered that not only had they already done it themselves, they used their own materials to do it instead of the cheap connectors that had been there before. I was blown away by that small touch. For a major expense like this, I'm usually wracked with doubt, wondering if I picked the right place and whether I could have gotten a better deal or better service elsewhere, but this time there is no doubt in my mind that KVN was the right pick. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them unconditionally.

Although it was wintertime, they were able to complete each project efficiently and beautifully during periods of better weather. Given the challenges of trying to get such tasks done during the winter months (e.g., rain, snow, wind), I greatly appreciated the fact that I did not have to chase them down to schedule the work, but rather Kirill contacted me when the weather windows of opportunity presented themselves. Shortly after hiring KVN, an unexpected situation arose on my end and I had to postpone the work for a month. I explained the situation to Kirill and he did not hesitate to accommodate my needs. Then, once the reroof project was about to begin, another issue arose on my end and Kirill once again stepped up and expeditiously finished the roof in an effort to make things easier for me. Their prices and efficiency were so impressive we added two change orders, one for them to do more extensive work on the roof and one to replace our front porch support and top boards. First of all let me say the roof looks great and I've received a few compliments. The reason I gave 4 stars only is due to a couple of hiccups. First one is that KVN had to void a proposal one day after it was sent, due to omission of labor ( around $2,000) for installing plywood? Second one was after I picked a color and received confirmation from Kirill via texting that the color is indeed avaiable for this geographic area; only to be told at the last minute that it's actually not available. That meant having to go through HOA again to get an amended approval for color change. Not a deal breaker but a pain. Other than that Kirill has communicated via texting in a timely matter. The material KVN used is top notch ( according to passerbys who offered unsolicited comments) and I am happy with the crew. KVN's price was not the cheapest but at the end of the day their crew was well tolerated by my neighbors and they approved the quality of my new roof.

Siding job was good. Not great. Installers were nice. Problems we had. Lots of little things that could have been done better. Caulking was sloppy. Some reveals don't match others. Trimmed almost all doors and windows with hardie trim. Left 1 door trimmed with original wood trim because it was new. Could have asked our opinions on somethings before installing. Project manager was standoffish about area we didn't like. Asked to have it redone and I came out worse in our opinion and he argued with me about how it looked. I think with a bit more communication and focus on the details, the job could have been better.
