We had 18 windows replaced due to old age/failed seals and at every step of the way, ACRE impressed. Jamie felt like an old friend by the time he was done doing our estimate, the office staff was always friendly, helpful, and efficient, Pat took incredible pride in his work to measure and in doing some follow up work after installation, the additional measurement techs were efficient and personable, and Dan and his entire installation team were all incredibly friendly, helpful, efficient, and respectful. The job looks great and the product is top notch. The job was done on time (can you believe a construction project was done on time?!) and was cleaned up well. Would definitely recommend. They know what they're doing and they take pride in doing so.

So many times in my experience, service calls simply turn into sales calls. We have used the Acre team to consult with us on our doors and windows several times. Pat, their service consultant showed up and thoroughly examined each and every window we have and determined whether a repair or replacement was needed. In the end, only six of twenty windows warranted repair With the remainder needing only minor maintenance. This constituted a major cost saving to us on a very large scale. Polite. And knowledgeable, we highly recommend Acre and always ask for Pat.

We have 44 windows in our home so we could only afford to get half of them at this time. The sales person worked with us and spent the appropriate amount of time make sure we knew all of our options. He was a sales men, but not overly pushy. This company really shines on installation. The crew of 5 showed up on time and were super professional. The delivery truck could not make it under the electrical line so the whole crew had to off load on the busy street and bring all the window down the extended driveway, they did not complain once. There was an error in the measurement of 1 window and the company was very responsive and was able to satisfy us and we already have the new window lined up for the remainder of the install. I would highly recommend this company again and look forward to the remainder of the windows being installed in the future. Great work!!!!!

My installer Alex was awesome and even was earlier than the expected time. The door installation went as expected and everything was cleaned up and in order. Overall very good experience. We had a problem with the initial install where a few windows fell off the truck and were damaged but they replaced them at no cost and came back for the second installation a few weeks later. John was our installer and he was pleasant, professional, and efficient. Also, there was an issue originally where the salesman did tell us that our windows would have a particular feature but we found out later that was not available on the windows we selected. This did not turn out to be a major issue but still important to be noted.

He seemed to have a firm grasp about the subject at hand and thoroughly went through all our options. Despite personally not knowing much about windows, he explained everything from top to bottom in terms both my wife and I could understand. We felt like he was looking out for our best interests instead of his own. Even my kids liked him. My husband and I purchased an old home that had an unusually large front door that desperately needed to be replaced. We had contacted multiple businesses to find to do the work without any avail. We were thankful to find Acre Windows and Doors to complete the project. Because of the COVID-19 supply chain disruption, the timeline was much longer than in "normal" circumstances, but ultimately fell within the projected timeline by Acre. They were very assistive and communicative through the purchasing and installation process, and completed the work in a very timely manner. I appreciated that they cleaned the workspace frequently throughout the job and were very personable overall. The project was expensive, but comparable to quotes provided by other businesses. I recommend Acre for your door and window installation needs.

EDIT: I did hear back from ACRE Windows and Doors after this review so I've updated my rating based on my experience with the salesman, however I still do not know the cost of the door vs the cost for install which is strange to me. 2nd Edit: Get other estimates. I received a quote for the same exact door from Lowes that was 1/3 of the price including installation. THE. SAME. DOOR. Had they been 20-30% more expensive that would have been more reasonable for an independent. I ended up upgrading to a Pella door since I was already saving so much money. You will call to schedule an appointment and they will be very nice. The salesman will come to your house, he will be very thorough with the information regarding installation and will provide you with a quote on site. They will ask that you accept the quote immediately without doing any additional research. You will ask them to email you the quote so you can think about it with your wife and make sure this is something that is needed and we are making the correct decision.. The salesman will agree to send the email right away and leave. You will then wait 2 days without receiving an email. You will call their office and speak with a very nice person who will tell you she will have the sales manager give you a call. The sales manager will then both call and text you, apologize, offer you an additional discount and then tell you they will email you the quote for you to review. You will wait 2 days. There will be no email. You will then text message the sales manager politely following up. You will not hear back. You will then end up contacting a different company.

The original quotation for our patio door was great! Our representative was helpful and informative but they do offer same day incentives which do not allow you much time to think on such a large purchase. Definitely get other quotations first. However, we ordered our door, the installers did a fantastic job and cleaned everything up when they were done! We love our new door!

Second time we worked with this company, first was the porch windows and two exterior doors. This time two kitchen windows, one being a garden window. Once again a stellar performance by all involved. Staff was polite, friendly and professional. After several estimates, Acre was the only one we felt would properly handle the job of replacing all fourteen windows in our hundred year-old house. They were incredibly knowledgeable and sent two crews over to make sure the install job was done in one day. Despite the difficulty of the job, they had everything done in around seven hours, including a thorough cleanup, and the end-product looks fantastic. I would definitely recommend them and use them again for any similar projects.

They did a fabulous job with the installation and made good on a promise to come back regarding trim that Anderson Windows forgot to include in the order. He was very prompt, very professional, thorough and was able to answer all questions, concerns and was very informative about the product. We were able to make a concerted and fairly quick decision (within an hour) to decide on going with your company. Normally we would have gotten at least one other estimate however we really were sold on his product knowledge and pricing agreement. The Installers were very efficient. Alex was the head installer. Very nice but did not show how work the windows at completion of installation. The clean up was as best they could because our home is packed and tight when moving through. Therefore, we took that into consideration. The original windows in the home was being replaced. Very costly. It was a tedious process for us owners because they came a little earlier than was assigned (4 hours). We had to rise, rush and finish up the movements of items and furniture so they could get started. However, they started immediately. The overall job was superb. We e-mailed ACRE about the problem of not knowing how to operate the windows and it was addressed immediately. John came out and showed us thoroughly how to operate and clean the windows. Very pleased. We rate ACRE a 4.5 Star.

I had to break my window job up over the last four years and no matter who came out to do the installs all the guys were respectfull, on time and they explained any complications in detail before going any further.. This week I got my last four windows done and these guys never missed a beat they found a issue with one of my frames that were built out of square , no wander I was having a problem with the old window closing all the way and straight, but Mike and his partner out my new window in straight and square and when the got done turning it out you couldn't tell there was anything wrong. Thanks guys you rock. I have to admit I'm so happy with the windows I decided to call ACRE back to have John come back out for a price to replace my front door, they will be out to do measurments this week I'm very happy and you will be to. ACRE came out to provide a quote. I thought they did a good job describing the project and their offering. When it came to providing a quote there was a lot of pressure to make a decision that evening. They offered discounts that would only be available that evening if you signed a contract during that visit. If you are going to shop around, I would suggest you understand how much you are willing to pay and have another quote ready prior to their visit. That way you can go in educated and can properly evaluate any signing discounts.

Everything went well from the initial sales meeting, to the measurement confirmation and then to the final installation. The exterior door was delivered and installed per the specifications. In addition, they installed the storm door I purchased from Lowes. The customer service at the office was very friendly and responsive as well. I live in DE but my sale/service was through the Hatboro office. Overall great experience and I would utilize them for future work.

I provided viable days for window installation and repeatedly they scheduled my installation for a day that I was unavailable.(Was told to take the day off!) I was spoken to in a very disrespectful manner. Was told that I only had 1 bay window to install and was prioritized behind a client with a multi window installation. Discussions became heated from time to time. Was told by installation manager that I was out of line and that she will protect her employee at any cost. Told her that maybe I should cancel my order and I was told that I would be sued. Mind you, this was a $10K window. I repeatedly asked to speak with a manager but to no avail. Was referred back several times to installation Manager. At time of installation I failed to see that they damaged my ceiling fan. When I got up on a ladder to clean the fan. I saw white lines on my fan. 3 out of 4 blades. (black fan blades) Initially thought the marks were caulking. Upon closer inspection, found that they were gashes that occurred during window installation but never pointed out to me by the installers. When I called in regarding thid matter I was told by same nadty employee that she would advise of my fan issue. I called back about 2 weeks later, eas told that I was sent an E-Mail requesting me take pictures. I never did find an E-Mail and honestly I believe the company should have sent out a representative to inspect the damage. No management ever available for direct contact. Would not recommend using this company. Installation was fine. Damages incurred without proper notification. Merely looking to have my fan blades repaired, nothing more. Definitely WOULD NOT purchase anything else from this company. Was the most unpleasant. home improvement ever done. After the fact, I believe that I was OVERCHARGED gor this window! Seriously considering a contact with the BBB.
