Called on Thursday for an estimate and to make an appointment, the lady that answered the phone was nice and super helpful. Deposit is very reasonable and they got me in today (Saturday). Dropped my car off to have a windshield replaced when they opened at 8 and it was done by the time they closed at 12. All staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful, I will definitely recommend these guys for any glass repair!!

Windshield rock chip Grrrrr Same day service Whoot! Receptionist was very helpful. I wasn’t even going to bother with an insurance claim but the receptionist jumped right on it. She got the insurance company on the phone and we filed the claim and no out of pocket cost from me!!!! I had windshield work done at this location on the past so she did the research to look for any potential warranties to make sure I got the best deal possible.

I went because I thought I had several small chips. Theresa at desk when I Called was very nice and helpful got me scheduled right away, the technicians took it in after a few minutes they came out and told me they were just service scratches nothing to fix the glass wasn’t fractured and there wouldn’t be a problem no charge. How honest. I had gone there in July with my pickup that did have a rock chip and you can hardly even see where that repair was made am very happy would highly recommend this glass repair business. A+ work! I was quoted nearly $16,000 from Anderson Windows to replace three windows. I called Glass Doctor and they were able to replace the window panes with a 10 year warranty for only 1,100. They did awesome work and my windows look amazing!!!

I found the price for windshield replacement to very competitive, I was able to easily make an appointment on-line, hammered out some details prior to appointment to ensure appropriate windshield was ordered to ensure quick and easy appointment. Replacement did not take long at all. When I picked my vehicle up, I noticed that road vibration was making my rear view mirror essentially useless. Drove back to service center, and additional service/adjustment was completed quickly and without debate. I hope that I don't have to go back, but if I do need a windshield repair or replacement in the future, I will return to Glass Doctor again.

This was our first experience using Glass Doctor of Council Bluffs and unfortunately, not everything went as planned. We had an appointment for 2:30pm for Thursday 2/12 to replace the rear glass in our Chevy Cobalt. The glass broke on Wednesday so we were happy that we were able to get in to have it fixed so quickly. Then issues started. The job was suppose to take about 2hrs once we dropped it off. About an hour after we had it at the shop, we got a call that the wrong glass had been delivered. Apparently our Cobalt changed the design of their rear glass midway through the year. Understandable I suppose as the shop said they were expecting another glass to arrive around 4pm. Then came the accident on the interstate, and then, the glass somehow didn't get on the truck. I agreed to go ahead and come down and pay for the job ahead of time since they were closing at 5pm but they assured me the job would get finished that night. I paid the bill in advance (over $480) and the installer said they were expecting the glass by 6pm. I asked the attendant to leave the keys locked in the glove compartment and I would be done around 8:30pm that night to pick the car up. I didn't get any further phone calls and when I arrived at 8:30pm, our car was still in the bay, no one was at the shop and no glass was installed. Needless to say, I was EXTREMELY disappointed that I didn't get a phone call. After making a couple of calls to their message service, we finally got a call back. Apparently, someone had to go back to the parts area and get our glass again. At this point, my wife was quite frustrated and I told them I would be down in the morning around 8:30am. When I arrived, the car was finished. It's was my wife's birthday on the 13th and we were planning to leave early that morning for an out of town trip. While it did set us back a few hours, we were glad to get our car back. The job itself looked very good and the staff were very apologetic over all the mishaps. Would have been nice to offer a little off that expensive bill but it is what it is. I told the staff that I understood that they couldn't replace the glass if they didn't have it; however, better communication is in order. I should have received a call before having my son take me down there to get our car when it wasn't even ready yet. A job that was suppose to take only a couple of hours ended up having our car at their shop for 18hrs. We understand 'stuff' happens, just communicate it out to your customers and not have your customers making calls to message services in the hopes of finding out what's going on!

I am unsure of the reason for some of the bad reviews because I had a windshield installed by Glass Doctor they got me in within an hour after I called at I was there no more then and hour and 30 minutes. From appointment to finish was like 2 and a half hours with no issues. That was a year ago a week ago I had them replace a window that my neighbor broke out from my house again same day service I called them at 9:30am and they had my window as good as new by 2 in the afternoon and thank god it was getting cold! Great Job, if it wasnt for this guys I woldnt had known my insurance pays it. And its considered acording to my insurance a no fault claim. My insurance said it wont raice my rates. These guys are all pro. I had a back window kicked out that NOONE in the state had in stock. I tracked a used one down and they put it in for me. In and out in less than a hour as a walk-in. Fair price, speedy, and professional install. The tech even scraped off the garbage aftermarket tint revealing a beauiful factory privacy glass that looked brand new. Go see them.
