We have worked with Window-Fix for many years, but I especially want to highlight the great work they did for us at the three story townhouse known as the “Castle” in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. We performed a full gut restoration of this very special landmarked building. A major part of the project was the replacement of all the windows, including custom curved windows. The team at Window-Fix worked with us to supply and install all of the windows. We were extremely pleased with their competence, customer service and attention to detail. We wholeheartedly recommend Ernie and his team for your window needs!

From the beginning, WindoxFix was very responsive to our questions about installing screens on our casement windows. We were worried the screens would diminish the look of our landmarked windows, but we're really happy with the results. Color and style match the window style and paint. WindowFix were patient in explaining the process and answering our zillion questions. They did a careful site visit to measure the windows, and gave us options on how we wanted to mount the screens. (We chose inside the window frame.) Jaffar and Juan installed the screens with great care, the way one would if you were working in your own home. The work area was clean and orderly, and the mounting was precise -- even with our old casements not being square. In addition to the great on-site customer service, the other employees we interacted with over email and phone for billing and logistics -- Ronald, Louis, Angela, Fabrice -- were equally helpful and professional. They even helped us take advantage of a promotion and save money. WindowFix far exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend.

I need to get my Phantom screen door repaired. I contacted Windowfix for an estimate. They sent someone over as soon as it was safe to do so (this was during the Pandemic). A days after the representative came to assess my needs I got a quote and a scheduled appointment for the repair. Every email I sent was answered promptly and they arrived to complete the repair on time. The repair person was polite, wore a mask and shoe coverings (he had to go through my apt). Made the repairs quickly and efficiently. I would recommend this company.

I have had an excellent experience with window fix. They replaced all my windows with Landmark approved windows, including 6 fully custom curved glass windows. It came out astonishing. Prices were better than anyone else that bid on the project. Ernie is a great person to work with, very honest, friendly and professional. I would certainly use them in the future!

My mom's home is a cape built in 1933. When her dog broke the glass in one of her bay window lights, I scoured the internet for an energy efficient solution to her single pane nightmare. I called on Thursday and discussed my issue with Richie. I explained what I wanted to do and he was very helpful and informative. We agreed on a very fair price for one trial window (glass only) and if it worked out I would measure and replace the other eight. I called on Saturday to make sure the window was ready before driving from Long Island to Brooklyn to pick up the window. It was available an hour before promised (I am not used to that!) I arrived for pickup and met Pedro at the shop who gave me a few tips and tricks regarding the installation, and was as friendly as anyone could ask for. The window was installed on Sunday and was perfect. I have them coming to my home for a bay window with a rotting casement panel on Friday, and I am going to have them fabricate the other 8 windows that I need for my mother's house. Overall I am extremely happy with the prices and level of service. Worth the 1 1/2 hour round trip on the Belt Parkway!

It took a very long and frustrating time finding a company that could fix the door to my balcony. Some Didn’t even bother returning my calls. But once I got a referral (from building management) to windowfix, the work was on the way to getting done. Very professional support and technical staff; patient with getting sign off on the work order via DocuSign and quick to schedule the repair. Technician who did the work was excellent; quick, nice and cleaned up after. He took time to explain what he was doing to to make sure I knew I could call to get it fixed if anything wasn’t right. Highly recommend!

I needed to get one window repaired in my apartment. I scheduled an appointment to have someone from Window Fix Inc. stop by and give me an estimate. Benny stopped by yesterday, took down some measurements and he gave me a price to repair it and a price to replace it. I decided to have it repaired. Payment was made via email, 50% deposit, 50% after completion. Angela from customer service sent me the forms to fill out immediately after Benny left and she scheduled the repair the following day. I received a call from Keith this morning to confirm this morning's appt. (9am - 1pm). Window techs: Peter & Luca arrived promptly at 9am. They immediately worked on my window and I had it repaired within 30 minutes. I'm very pleased the way the job was coordinated by WindowFixInc. I recommend them.

Early morning calls to confirm appointments followed by the 1/2 hour notice we request. Quotes always submitted on a timely manner. I would 100% recommend Window Fix for repairs or new installations. Excellent office support staff!!

We were restoring a historic building in the West Village on Morton Street in Manhattan and needed to replace the windows with replica windows. Having used Window Fix on another project that had an outstanding outcome with them we called them in for this project. Ernie Cappello was able to use a manufacturer who built the windows to Ernie's and NYC Landmarks scrutiny and specifications. Window Fix handled the project from permits to completion. They did an outstanding job!

We were overdue for new windows and a new back door in the rear of our 19th century townhouse in Prospect Heights, and hoping to work with a local, family-owned contractor with specific expertise, rather than resort to a general contractor as we had some years ago when replacing the windows in the front as part of a larger restoration project. We identified Window-Fix on both Brownstoner and Home Advisor, noted the positive reviews, and recalled seeing their vans in the neighborhood. Following an informative meeting at the house with Ernesto, we visited their Brooklyn showroom to look at the several options he recommended, and were pleased to find among them a product of quality comparable to the windows and door that were installed in the front – an improvement really – at a kinder price, as well with our reception there by Kevin, Ernesto’s colleague. Throughout the project, from contract through execution – the installation by Elias and his partner, unfazed by every challenge a 19th century house can present, was terrific -- the Window-fix team were prompt, professional, and responsive to all of our questions and concerns.

I used window fix 2 summers ago on 2 double hung windows in my living room as they had steam in between the glass. (Thermal pane windows were and are the worst invention ever), anyway, the man came measured the windows and a few days later I had one complete window upper and lower sash, and the other window only needed the top sash. Crystal clear. I am a happy camper. Now unfortunetely the one window they did not do, because it was good at that time, now the seal must be broken as the glass is all fogged. As I scrape my pennies together I will call window fix again to do the window. So my experience was fine, I had no problems. The best thing is they measure the glass and bring the new window to the apartmentt and take the sash out and slip the new glass in, where as another company I had used 20 years ago removed both sashes and left me with no windows for a whole day, that I did not like.
