Brought my Tacoma and my brothers Outback here and the results were excellent, exactly how we wanted it. Luis did a great job and took his time, we all got coffee and chatted about his Tacoma. They also gave a slight discount for bringing in more than one vehicle and they threw in a nice water bottle on the house. The warranty is lifetime and the job was high quality, I’ll definitely bring any future vehicles here.

Great place to get your tints done!! Very easy to book an appointment online or by giving them a call and they have their rates available on their site. Did my windshield (70%), front 2 (50%) and pano moonroof (35%) ceramic tints and it came out great. Very pleased with their fast service and professionalism. Ask for Luis!

I will never go anywhere else for tints ever again. Luis and Rob are absolute professionals that took time to show me the different products offered and you can tell they’ve been doing this for a long time. Their workshop is clean and they only buy from reputable film companies with lifetime warranty. Their film is pre cut by a machine to match perfectly to your exact car. Human error is removed from process and film fits perfectly. Ask for Luis or Rob with confidence they will do a fantastic job and honor any issues that may arise.

Ive been looking for a place where I could get my tints done with quality. With the heat and everything I needed to get one. I came across tintmax and long story short I went here. Purchased the XR plus ceramic tint for my car. The moment I finished, alot of bubbles were visible. i understand the curing time but it was just absurd. So I gave it the benefit of the doubt after 2 days all were gone except from the rear windshield. After a week of heatwave and intense sun, STILL its there. The tinter who did this was a white male did not get the chance to get his name but, barely even greeted me when I came in. so after a week still it wasnt “cured” I came in again to have it redone. The guy who took care of me a latino gentleman was in disbelief bcoz of the poor installation. He was cursing so bad that he found MORE problem with the installation, gaps on the window, little bubbles that he pointed out to me. And THANKFULLY he took care of it had a total of TWO windows redone with new tints and took care of the other ones too with minor problems. He’s the one of the reasons why Im giving this a 5 star review. PRICE wise? its definitely cheaper than most installers and mind you this is a ceramic plus tint with windshield installation(front and rear). And the carefree booking online was one of the reason too.

When I arrived, Luis greeted and went over the different types of tints and decided to go with the ceramic plus. Tinted my Model Y without any issues. Luis was informative and helpful. Everything’s Right! I got off work early and gave Tintmax a call. Was very fortunate that they weren’t working on a car and were able to take me right away. Both men working didn’t mind me hanging out while they tinted my windows. They were both very friendly and definitely cared about the job they were doing. One of the car windows was giving them trouble and I watched them redo it 3 times until they got it right. Excellent job well done. I think it looks great and the darker tints really make the chrome trim around my windows pop. Would highly recommend!

Came in to tintmax Astoria the other day because I wasn’t satisfied with my current tints and wanted it to be darker. The guys talked it over and we went with going 30% on the windshield first and deciding if we need more. Came out just right without being too dark and the work was done super quick for a fair price. Good vibes from everyone would definitely recommend !

I went to Tintmax Automotive in Astoria unsure of what tint would be best for my 2022 Audi, but Luis knew exactly how to provide the service I needed. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the tinting service I requested. I would definitely recommend these guys to get tints and any other car detailing you may need. A small tidbit, they are located tucked in by the golf gas station. It is easy to miss them so once you see the gas station, they are the next building over.

I brought in My Pilot for the Ceramic tint. The guys are very skillful. I had few cars. and I have tried few different places. never went back to any of those place twice. never felt they were professional enough to meet my Expectation. these guys are good. I am planning to bring my other cars in to have these guys redo the tint for me. I was lucky to get a same day appointment when I called. Luis is a very nice guy, he explained the difference between the brand and their tints and their Pros & Cons. told me few stories about the tint he had installed, and how they notice the difference between the brands and quality. Was looking for Xpel dealer and there were a few on the web site. Went to Tintmax only because it seemed they had most experience . The last shop I went to had shut down and had a hard time getting other shops to warranty the cheap film they used. Had spoke to Manny on the phone who went through the different tints xpel offered. I ended up applying paint protection film on front bumper also. Great job.

Very friendly staff from day 1. Luis was very informative and explained in details in regards to the difference of cheap tint I had on my old vehicle and the new ceramic tint I was about to get in my new vehicle. Went to get my windows tinted at the Astoria location after I scheduled it online. When I got there Luis told me there were about 20 minutes behind but assured me I would still be out at my scheduled time. I didn’t mint the wait . There was a coffee shop next door and Starbucks across the street . At end tints were perfect..

I went to get my windshield tinted with a ceramic film I heard it works really well to keep the heat out they did a good job protecting the interior of the car with towels when they were done the window had a few water bubbles but after a few hours they went away. Highly recommend .

I just got my windows tinted at this location earlier today and I was NOT disappointed. Not only was the work exceptional but the people working there were very professional and welcoming. Luis gave me reassurance when he said if they are any issues to just come back and he will rectify whatever problem I may have with the tints. I normally dont leave reviews but I needed to after the experience I had here in both the work that was done and the type of people that work here. I highly recommend.

Got my Xpel XR Ceramic tints at this location and Luis the tint guy was very professional and reaasure me that If I have any issues with the tints to come back. Also compared to other competitors they have the best price for Xpel Ceramic tints. The tints were installed yesterday so still have a few bubbles but not worried at all since it takes a few days for the tint to adjust, pretty sure in the next few days it will all be gone. If not I can go back and they would re do it. My overall experience was great and happy with his suggestion in the tint percentage. Thank you Luis for the service you provided.
