This is the fourth time that we’ve had Comfort Windows at our home for a project. Our latest project was a complete bathroom remodel. We’ve been pleased with all of the work that Comfort Windows has done but were particularly happy with our largest and latest project. A huge shout out and thank you to Eric and Marcus for their professionalism. Christian was here for 2 days and also deserves a thumbs up. Eric kept us apprised of the project at regular intervals and made sure to ask questions and allow for our continued input. No detail was left undone and we felt extremely comfortable having these workers in our home. We were sad to see them leave. The windows were custom made and completed a month ahead of the expected delivery date. The installation crew was great and even trimmed out some of the windows better than they were before. Contracting with Comfort Windows was a breeze. Our salesman Kevin Zales was thorough, competent, and patient as he walked us through the design and ordering process. Within an hour, we had locked in a bay window and a replacement front door and storm door. Understandably, the time between ordering and installation was a bit longer than originally quoted (COVID-19), but once our bay window and doors were built, we were promptly put on the installation list. Installation would be a two day affair. The guys from Comfort Windows were prompt and polite. Cliff, Kevin C., and Kyle respected our house and always had their masks on as they worked. They were exacting as they worked, cleaned as they went, and did a very professional job. My spouse and I were blown away by the finished product. It was like we had a brand new living room. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to the whole Comfort Windows team as they brave not only weather, but also the pandemic to make people's lives just a little better. Thank you all.

We called Comfort Windows to install a new sliding glass door. I was a bit worried at first because there was no existing door so they had to start from scratch. The sales person Dave answered all of my questions and was very responsive to calls and emails. When the work began, Cliff and Kevin (Truck 179) were quick, clean, and professional. They took time to explain steps they were taking to get the job done correctly. I also had an electrical outlet in the way of where the door was going. Jose, the electrician was very helpful in explaining the pros and cons of moving vs removing the outlet. Overall, I am very satisfied with the end result. Cliff and Kevin C arrived on time and even called before arriving. They were both very professional, friendly, knew exactly what they were doing. They installed the door, and also had to rehang our storm door. The storm door was not as easy as they made it seem. It needed more work but in the end everything looked fantastic. We would recommend Cliff, Kevin C and Comfort Windows to everyone. Last year we had all our windows done by Comfort. The door looks awesome!! This was one of my most memorable stress free experiences I've had in hiring a company to do a job, that, I could of done ,but decided I'm getting to old for certain do it yourself home repairs. Very professional was the two gentlemen that did my job,(Jeremy and Dave). Jeremy asked if i had any questions before they got started, And I simply said "Please do this job like it was your own home" and Boy did they ever. They replaced rotted wood that they never could see until they took the old sliding glass door out. Made every bit of the job water proof and cold air proof. I will not think twice of replacing my big Picture windows with Comfort and will request the same two guys.

Comfort Windows was one of a few places we looked at for our project. They did a great job making me feel like they really had an interest in me and not just selling me a product. I felt like they really looked at what we wanted and customized our project for our situation. We ended up doing windows, Sliding Glass door and a Sun Room. The process from quote to the work itself made me feel comfortable as if they were all looking out for me. The sales staff and work crew were very professional and friendly. Besides all this, the windows and doors are made locally and have lifetime warranty. The sun room is not made by them, but based on everything else, I had confidence that the Sun Room is also built with high Standards. The end product was excellent and could not be happier. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get work done on your house. Price was very reasonable and well below other quotes we got. I just have confidence that if I had to follow up for any issues, they would not hesitate to make it right. This is the first major reno project I had done on my house and had a great experience. Hot Tub is being delivered tomorrow to go in the new Sun Room. Time to enjoy the Covid Pandemic since everything is so restricted

We had a WONDERFUL experience with all of the Comfort Windows staff. We had 6 windows installed and 2 doors (2 more on the way because we liked those so much), and siding. our house looks AMAZING, we have gotten so many complements from phone calls to social media, in person and even a letter addressed to "occupant", in the letter the person told us how pleased the prior owner would be to know that we have "brought the old place to life" . This was a project that we have been wanting to do but when my husband became ill knew we would no longer be able to do it ourselves.and none of this could have been done without the wonderful, courteous, professional staff at Comfort Windows. Comfort installed 4 new hopper windows in my basement. It took a while to manufacture the windows to the specifications for my old house, but worth the wait. The windows are clean looking and functional. Crew was very neat, even in the muck and snow of March. They were courteous and professional. Cleaned up all debris from removal of old windows. The warranty is also an important feature.

We had 2 crews come in. One for 5 windows and another for a corner shower. Our shower guys Eric and I believe Marcus were very professional and let us know what they were doing at all times. Had to come back next day to finish up but did an awesome job.The window guys came in and had it all done that day. With the pandemic they weren't sure when they could get to us but they got us in before they thought. With that being said we will be doing more improvements with Comfort Windows in the future. I am very happy with my experience with Comfort Windows. The quote I got had a lot of options for extended warranties but I don’t care about that so I just went with the base price. I didn’t get any other quotes because I liked the fact that they manufacture their own windows at a factory in NYS. It was probably 6 months between the time I called them and they came out and measured the windows, gave me a quote to the final install. Everything is taking longer these days but that is okay. I had a small window in my office and I had a larger picture window installed, and the difference is pretty amazing. There is so much more natural light and my window looks out into the woods in my back yard, and the view and light are just fantastic. They installed a new picture window and other smaller windows in my lower level, ones that had weird coatings on which got all foggy and cloudy so they looked pretty bad. The new ones are lovely and they are not drafty at all, they are well sealed and the rooms feels warm and the curtains no longer gently sway with the draft! The installers worked efficiently and 3 of them came to do the job over 2 days. I was very impressed with their skill and cleanliness, they put drop cloths down and wore plastic covers over their boots. The installers have been working at the company for over 10 years, and were very experienced and competent. I highly recommend Comfort Windows. I don’t know how their price compares with other places, I imagine they are not the cheapest in town. I got exactly what I was hoping for and am very pleased with my decision.

I contacted Comfort to get estimates on windows. The whole process was very professional but not stuffy or unfriendly. They worked right along no sitting around they got the job done in a timely manner. They demonstrated how to work the windows after completion and express the fact that if there was any problems to just call. They arrived early the day of the install and were ready to get started right away. Cliff & Kevin (Truck 179) arrived promptly and worked hard to get the new window in after encountering some piping in my wall that could have prevented the window from fitting. Had windows replaced. The old ones were 30 plus years. The crew of Ernie, James, and Kyle started on Monday morning and finished on Wednesday afternoon. They were professional and friendly. They worked as a team and cleaned up as they finished each room. They made sure we knew how to operate the windows and after the install checked them to make sure they opened and closed easily. The windows look great and the house is warmer since the install. We had Comfort replace a window about ten years ago, and window is still like brand new. Everyone we dealt with at Comfort was great, the sales rep, the final measurer, office staff and installers. We were kept in the loop via email as to the status of the project, and were told to call at any time with any questions or concerns. I will use them for projects in the future.

Had Comfort install 4 double hung, 1 slider and 2 custom picture windows. Price was very competitive. Salesman was easy to work with and not pushy. Placed order in July with install in Oct due to busy schedule. Notified in Sept, that because of Covid, raw materials to manufacture windows were slow to arrive so install would be a bit later than expected. Windows finished production in early Nov and rescheduled install for early Dec. Two days scheduled for install but Comfort sent two crews to try and finish in one day. Crews (Cliff, Gavin, Kevin and D?? Truck #179) were professional, knowledgeable and cleaned up after themselves. They were able to get all but one piece of trim installed in one day and came back the next morning to finish. Along with installing last piece of trim, they washed all windows and double checked to make sure they left place as clean as when they started. After living with the windows for close to a month now, I can say we are very satisfied. From start to finish the Comfort team went out of their way to ensure we were happy. Highly recommend

This is the second major window install by Comfort for us. Being this one was a brand new install, we were a bit nervous about cutting a huge hole into the house. Comfort didn't let us down. The installation team was almost spookily efficient. I met them at our facility to let them in and show them the rooms to receive new windows, but I had to go on to work for a time. When I returned, all the old windows had been replaced and removed from the site. The only way I knew the team had even BEEN there was that the exterior trim was still incomplete (they had estimated 2 days for the installation - that was the second day activity). The second day, I left the facility door unlocked so they could get in and planned to return to thank them for their great work - but they were 100% complete and long gone before I could return. They were GREAT! The windows look and work great!

Cliff and Kevin (Truck 179) were on time and finished the job when they were supposed to. These two guys did a great job on installing our windows and sliding glass door. They were very respectful of our home and yard. They took every precaution to make sure that the mess was cleaned up after they were done. The frame work looks great! The sliding screen door was damaged upon arrival and these guys gave us their word they will be out to replace it soon.

We had 7 windows, shutters, Front door and sidelights installed. Solid experience starting with our Sales rep Kevin Zales. He was "comforting" after getting three quotes from other local businesses and a failed attempt 4 years ago with Comfort to complete this job. Next came the installation team, we had to have the job postponed due to COVID and Winter. I'm very very happy it worked out we got the team we did for the installation. Cliff, Kevin and Jessie (Truck 179) were all professional, kind and respectful. They took their time and methodically completed this two day job ahead of schedule. My wife and I are very happy with them and more importantly love our new windows and door. We needed a few screens replaced from our previously installed Comfort windows and they took care of us with these on day one and brought the replacements on day two. We do have some additional decorative frame work around the door that still needs to be completed but I know Comfort will complete this to our satisfaction. TWO THUMBS WAY UP!

We really enjoyed meeting the 2 guys who installed our windows: Michale F. and Steve S. They were very courteous, knowledgeable, skilled and just fun people! They did excellent work AND they were great guys to have in and around our house for 1 1/2 days. :) Both my husband and I are in sales and we really appreciate our sales guy, Tom; the quality of the product and the professionalism of the installation team. The only thing that truly needs improvement is the general communication between the customer and the company.

Overall pretty good, however, there is much room for improvement. There have been several new window installations whereby the crew failed to properly caulk in areas around and below the window which has resulted in ourselves doing our own caulking in the areas that were missed or only light application of caulk was applied. There have also been instances where a crew person had had to come back to make repairs on newly installed window that has defect marking inside the glass. This has happened twice. Thankfully they replaced the window sash in both instances. But overall they are a very good company and their windows are amazing. No complaints about the wonderful windows.

I contracted with Comfort Windows & Doors on 8/04/20 for a new in-swing storm door. It was just installed on 11/24/20 with no communication on status except a couple of emails saying they were working on it. I finally called and told them the delay was unacceptable and Todd scheduled me for installation. I waited for installers and they were not on time. I called and spoke with a VERY RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL RECEPTIONIST who transferred me to Todd who insisted that the time he gave me for the install was later than the time I had on my calendar and apologized if he made a mistake, which he in fact did. The installers: Cliff, Kevin and Kyle from Truck #179 arrived just as I was about to leave. They were absolutely wonderful, very professional and apologized for the installation mixup. The guys did a really exceptional job installing the in-swing storm door and also made some adjustments with additional material so that the door fit correctly and the area around the door was esthetically pleasing. **Buyer beware of the very Rude, Unprofessional Receptionist With An Attitude and double check the installation date and time so there is no confusion on either end. Thanks again to Cliff, Kevin and Kyle on Truck 179 for a first rate installation job!! It was very much appreciated!!! After the very long wait, in the end, the in-swing storm door looks really great.

We have a older home and we needed to update a bathroom. The salesman came out and gave us free estimate. He was very thorough and knowledgeable in the construction field. The crew leader came out and did a final measure to order materials. The gut and redo took about 4 days. They ran into a few unforseen issues stripping down to the studs. Construction crew was amazing and did a great job. I was amazed on the knowledge from carpentry, plumbing, flooring and electrical. The crew was very professional while in my home. They cleaned up each day after work. We had to remove a window in the shower and the siding crew came out and repaired my vinyl siding. Overall we were very impressed from beginning to end. We would recommend Comfort and the crew on any remodeling job.

The team was polite courteous and professional. They removed a bay window and put in a "quarter, quarter half" window in its place. Built up the wall, insulated and fixed/replaced siding and drywall on the inside as well as trim around the window. They also replaced a sliding door with the same type window and performed the same finishes to that. We are very pleased with our windows and the service we received. I even grilled them lunch on the second day.

The company was able to custom make the entry door and storm door, which were difficult to find from other contractors. My experience with Comfort Windows was great from start to finish! Andy, the sales rep offered excellent information about the windows and their advantages, while doing “rough” measurements, which were followed by final measurements a few days later. The installers, Steve and Justin were prompt, courteous and definitely worked extremely well as a team. The first day of install entailed “deconstruction”...removal of all windows, while installing all of the new ones. It was amazing that so much was accomplished on day one. The second and third days were spent installing inside and exterior trim and caulking. All of this was done in very warm conditions! I’m very happy with this home improvement!

We booked to get 6 windows replaced in Sept 2020 . Salesman lead us to believe it would be about 2 months, (could take up to 6mos) windows were installed in mid Feb. 2021. They did an excellent job with a very timely and clean installation. Once they left, we went out to get new mini blinds for the new windows, only to discover they had replaced our outside window trim with white, when originally we had an almond or off white on it. We reported it and were told it would be taken care of. It's been 2 weeks and we have heard nothing back yet.

I had 11 windows installed. The whole process was easy. The sales guy was very friendly and informative about the process. The install team was friendly and did a great job. The first day the install crew showed up, one of my windows had a crack in the frame. The lead installer called and demanded he gets a new one for install the next day so that the project was done on time. I'm very happy with the installers. The windows are performing much better than I had expected. I have 15 more windows to eventually replace and you can count on it that I use Comfort once again.

In November I had a deck installed. The two guys that did the work was Kevin and Kevin. They were great. It took 4 days to install the deck and each day it was pouring rain. They were so nice, very professional, answered all of my questions which I had many. I am so pleased with my deck. On December 28 I had a sliding door installed plus 9 faux wood blinds installed. The crew for the door was Gavin, Steven and Travis. Another day of pouring rain but they worked so well together. It was a fine oiled machine. They were professional yet friendly. Again answered my questions thoroughly and did a beautiful job installing the door. They had to tear out the old one and literally had to build a new frame. The work was seamless and perfect. I am so pleased and happy. The crew that cane in later to install the blinds were great too. They installed all the blinds in record time. Showed me one after it was installed. Again, answered my questions. I only remember the one man whose name was Dave but he did have another guy installing but I don’t know his name. I have already highly recommend Comfort Windows and Doors to friends who are looking to have new sliders. You are a wonderful company to work with and your crews are excellent. First of all I want to say I've purchased from CW before and have been very pleased with their work. Rich the salesman is great. In Aug. of 2020, here in Buffalo, I ordered a replacement bedroom window. Due to Covid, personal shuffling, causing incorrect measurements and a wrong size window being delivered, a final window was installed March 23, 2021. Mat, Ian and another gentleman did an awesome job!! Dealing with HOA restrictions the guys ( especially Ian working on the second story exterior) worked VERY hard to comply with those rules. The window looks great. No more heat loss. Cleanup great as always. Yes! It took a while, but they followed through and did a good job!

We have used the Syracuse office on two separate occasions to purchase replacement windows. The first few Windows we decided to replace were on just one side of the house, approximately 14 months later we replaced five additional windows across the top front of the house. George, our assigned sales rep, came to our home, was very professional and patient with us. Replacement windows are a large purchase and my husband and I wanted to make sure we were making the right decision. George provided us with three different qualities of window options with a price comparison for each. We decided on the Windows we wanted and George even found an additional discount for us if we put a comfort sign in our yard. After the second install there was a slight issue with the flashing around the existing windows. I called the office to voice my concern that the new window flashing was stark white and did not look balanced with the windows which were not replaced. George came to see for himself, although He did not agree with my complaint, he wanted to ensure I was a satisfied customer. Originally he had quoted me an additional cost to rectify the issue. I said that was not satisfactory to me. George than offered to take my issue to a sales manager. Comfort is making it right, I am very happy. With each install, the installers have all been kind, courteous and professional. I will use Comfort windows of Syracuse for the final few replacement windows in my house and I would highly recommend comfort Windows product, customer service, sales team and installers.

We had a bay window, storm/screen door on the side of the house and siding put on. The guys that worked on both projects were very professional and friendly. They were very knowledgeable and hard workers..working on some pretty cold days mind you. I am very happy with that aspect of the project however, when the siding was ordered we decided to go with white trim because it looks nice with the gray siding and our front and side storm/screen doors were white. I know that this is on me because I didn’t fully read all the contract and just assumed that the side door that was ordered was going to be white..like the trim and front storm door. Well it wasn’t..it’s a cream color. I had called to question this and was told that the cream one was ordered because he figured it would look nice with the siding and I was told that it was in the contract and that I agreed to it. I’m sorry, don’t get me wrong here, everyone was very professional and friendly but wouldn’t you have automatically made that a white door since the trim and front door was white? Now I have an odd ball door that doesn’t match the trim or the front door. It just doesn’t look right to me.

Comfort Windows & Doors renovated our bathroom about 1.5 years ago - they did a fantastic job when they fully gutted the previous bathroom - converting the tub into a great walk-in shower, re-doing the walls & ceilings, etc. - a very significant update for our home that we're very happy with. But in particular what I've appreciated about Comfort is that whenever we've had any sort of issue (minor things), Comfort has been hugely supportive, very responsive and quick & professional to resolve issues. We even ended up having a pipe break just under the new bathroom floor that Comfort helped us investigate and resolve - they truly moved mountains in an emergency situation to get us back up and running, and we hugely appreciated what they did for us.

Basic window that is not as good as described. I had 16 windows done and the most notable thing of the whole experience was how good the install team did, they did great. I bought the best model sold with promise of how amazingly quiet the window would be, the amazing quality of window build and all the rest of the sales pitch (good salesman too). The window is not a bad window, The window is not an great window. It is a basic 3 star middle of the road window. For the price I paid (a lot) without asking for one discount, they should be exactly what the sales pitch claims... an amazing window no other manufacturer can beat. They are not, they are just a good basic window. Now I should deduct from the 3 star window one more star to make it a 2 star window. This is because as I write the final check for these I realize that not once has a rep called me if there are any problems, they didn't once ask how I like the windows, and certainly never asked how the comfort experience was. The only call I got was asking for payment without even sending an invoice.

Jim was very helpful and answered all our questions and concerns. Naturally I wanted it right away but Jim was honest with us and gave us our time line. When the project started Eric and Kevin showed up to demo our large deck. These two guys worked very hard and in deep mud from all the rain we had. Very nice guys and took everything away and cleaned up. Then Chris and Gordon showed up to start the build. I can’t say enough about them. Very nice guys and kept me informed all the way thru and also point out issues that came up which they handled. Very knowledgeable and skilled guys. During the build Jose the electrician came by and asked me what I wanted and where I wanted it. He pointed out some things that helped me with my decisions. I can’t thank them enough. And whenever I contacted the service coordinator, Kayla, she always got back to me. My only regret was that I didn’t do this sooner. Please recognize to see exceptional employees. The installation crew arrived every day at the time they said they would and completed the job in the time specified. They did a good job. We had a problem with a few of the screens so they had to be sent back for repair but to our surprise, in less than 24hrs. they were repaired and returned to us. Impressive! The only other small thing we noticed was that in manufacturing there was a small amount of black glue left on the outside of the window glass that was a bit difficult to clean off. Other than that we would highly recommend Comfort Windows to anyone who is looking for a quality job.

The installation of the 3 new windows was great. The installers were very friendly, professional and neat. They did an excellent job. I do have to say that I am particularly NOT satisfied with the customer service department. We are experiencing an issue with one window (discoloring in between the panes) and when I called to notify the service department on August 8, they could not make an appointment just to look at the window until August 29. Three weeks is unacceptable for a company which claims high standards. I worry that the replacement will take a lot longer than it should.

Comfort Windows has done work for me in the past. Their quality of installations and product(s) are second to none. Recently they have installed insulation in my cape cod home. This was very difficult, as they had to retrofit this insulation. It was compounded by the weather (Feb' was brutal) and old aluminum siding on my house. When they were finished, it was as though no siding was even removed, and the house was immediately warmer. My winter bill for Feb' was 17% lower than Jan'. We all thought the savings would take a few years. They even came back to check their own work to make sure the job was done properly. Great company and very professional. The young men that did the job were very polite & friendly. cleanup was excellent. In fact I shopped around for basement window replacement, and thought who better to do the job. Comfort Windows of course! PS-very fair prices also.

This is my second experience getting windows replaced by Comfort. I was so impressed the first time I called to have another replaced. They did not disappoint. The two men showed up on time. I was expecting them to have to come in and out of the house and there was snow on the ground so expecting some mess to clean up afterwards. There was no mess, practically no noise at all. I don't think I ever even saw the person who was working outside. Booties go on immediately over boots for the person working inside...no mess. So courteous and explaining the process. We contracted Comfort to replace our older french doors leading to our deck with sliding doors. Upon removal of the old doors, unfortunately, they found the subfloor very rotted. The installers, Cliff Wool and Kiren Cummins, took their time to replace the rotted section in a very professional way and the craftmanship of the replacement was perfect. The overall look of the replacement, including the vinyl siding trim and molding replacement, was much better then we could have ever expected. We can't say enough about the quality of the product and the professionalism of the installers, The way the installers handled the entire project is why we will definitely be coming back again with more projects.

We are very happy with the results. Had the whole house sided plus 3 small windows installed. The crew was outstanding: came when they said they would, cleaned up, and very professional attitude. My only concern is that the estimated (and paid for) siding was way over what they used and we should have a refund. Our installer said he would let the main office know that we overpaid, and should have a refund, but haven't heard from them since. They are expensive but well worth it. Would highly recommend them.

We had siding and shutters put on our 30 year old house and the house looks tremendous many comments from others. The two guys that worked on the house were great. They communicated throughout the project. To me, they did little extras, which I found out were part of the process, fixing broken wood, adjusting lights, they even washed the deck. They did not want it left with footprints. They even helped when the garage springs broke, providing lumber to hold the door up. We have had Comfort Window do doors, windows, and insulation in the past and the workmanship has always been outstanding, extra care taken each time

We had a new picture window and sliding glass door installed in our home. They look beautiful. However, our only complaints are that the installation workers left the wood framing the window with a big chunk missing and they had left a good amount of pink insulation on our lawn, that our dog had found and tried to chew. We contacted our contact with comfort windows and he assured us that the window frame would be fixed, apologized about the insulation that was left, and stated he would have someone contact us to replace the window frame wood. The products themselves are amazing. The window is beautiful and it no longer feels drafty. The sliding glass door works well and is easy to open and close. Hope this helps!

The work area and our house was cleaned, when the project was completed. All debris including the old bathroom fixtures were removed before they left. We were told to to call, if we had any problems. Over the past few years, in addition to the half bath remodel; we have had our main bathroom remodeled, front and rear doors replaced and windows installed. Rich is the best salesman I’ve ever dealt with! The installers were on time and very professional and helpful with any and all questions. With these new triple pane windows any drafts from outside have been diminished completely, noise from the road traffic is almost completely gone. The plow truck noise is at least 80% less and no longer wakes up my 2 yr old. Just can’t say enough. Why spend 10s of thousands of dollars on Competitors windows when comfort are already top notch and cost 1/2 the price. BTW some of the windows that were replaced were old (high priced competitor FANCY windows) where seals were all dissolved and building ice and even mold in-between the panes. And found FANCY windows were installed without and insulation as well. STICK WITH COMFORT! ask for rich! GO JETS

The sticker-shock of window replacements surprised me, to say the least. But, the quality of Comfort's windows is well worth the cost if you have the opportunity and need to upgrade. I am so happy I purchased windows through Comfort (especially after the winter we just had!). The crew that installed the windows were courteous, professional, and quick. In about a day and half, I had 8 windows installed. I would highly recommend Comfort Windows.

Our new front storm door is beautiful. The beveled glass is heavy, and the dual pneumatic opener/closers bring the door quietly to its closed position. Installers were efficient and polite workers. When we discovered that the deadbolt only latched sporatically later the day of installation, one call got someone back the next day to fix it. Also, a wire to our doorbell was broken when the door was being installed, and it was replaced with a new one the same time the deadbolt was fixed. We'll definitely call Comfort Windows again.

If I could give six stars for the windows and doors crew I would. They have done nothing but go above and beyond when working on my home. Especially this last visit when they got into the project and realized there were far more issues than what they signed up for. Without another word they got to work on repairing the old issues, and ensuring they do not recur. Great Job by that team and I can't thank them enough. Highly recommend Comfort for Windows and Doors! Spray foam insulation team; you may want to shop around (2-3 stars). We had them do the two part spray foam in the rim joists in the basement. They foamed in outdoor water supply shut offs, left gaps in the insulation that I've had to fill with cans of 'great stuff', and left a god awful mess of insulation and debris on the floor that I spent a day cleaning up.

I had these folks do a four season room this summer. The product quality is beautiful. The technicians were on time polite and professional. They always cleaned up after a days work. Unfortunately their supplier of some finish product made the two week job into close to five weeks. Not their fault but I wasn't getting feedback until I called for a progress report. Room looks perfect and I commend the workers for their expert work. Closer to 4.5 stars. I recommend Comfort for this type of work. They have a nice product.

I had Comfort install all new windows in my house. So far the windows are good. About half of the windows take a large effort to lock and the other half close and lock easily. I am giving it some time for the windows to settle before I call Comfort. I don't want to waste anyones time if its just a matter of the windows needing a few seasons to settle. The windows do a great job of blocking the UV rays, that I am very impressed with. I have south facing windows and leaving the blinds open all day used to mean that area of the house was unbearable. Now, I can leave the blinds open and the room feels like its been in the shade all day. Unfortunately, there were a lot of small things that occurred during the install that by themselves wouldn't have bothered me but the aggregation of all of them left me with a bad taste. 1 - I had my roof replaced last year, I have found more screws and hardware from the 11 windows I had replaced than my entire roof. Seemed like the installers just threw the screws on the ground. 2 - My landscaping got trashed. Again, the company that installed my roof didn't ruin my landscaping as bad as two guys installing windows. 3 - When they were replacing my basement windows one of the installers was smoking outside right next to the opening. This caused my entire finished basement to stink as well as part of my first floor. I am by no means an anti-smoking Nazi, but I think that if you are going to smoke, stand away from the windows/openings. I dont want to smell that. 4 - I have shutters installed outside of my windows. They were hung with hangers that are hidden behind the shutters. Instead of using the hardware I already had, the installers just slammed a bunch of screws into the shutters so now my shutters have a bunch of screws showing. It looks like a hack did it. When I hired Comfort to install windows, I expected anything that had to be removed for the windows would be reinstalled with the hardware that was in place. So all in all, I am happy with the actual windows, the installation on the other hand left a lot to be desired.

Very frustrating! I had them put two bay windows where six other windows sat in my pool room . It was pretty complicated they had to put steel inside the wall for support. They did the job perfectly the windows are such an improvement and it gave me an extra couple feet of room for the pool table because I kept hitting the window With the pool sticks.People also say that comfort windows is really expensive I had Anderson windows here double the price for the windows without installation just the windows and they couldn’t even do it because it had structural work to do and they don’t do that type of Install.

On about May 7th I used your web page to obtain a free price quote for an awning. There was no response after about a week so we stopped by at your showroom on 3624 John Glenn Blvd, Syracuse, NY. At that time, an appointment was made for May 17 for John to give us an estimate for the awning we chose. He was very knowledgeable and we decided to buy an awning. On May 23rd a representative came to determine if the awning could be installed and to obtain final measurements. He said that the awning would be ordered and that it would take from 3 to 4 weeks for it to arrive, and that installation would take place shortly after arrival because you do not like to have it sitting in the warehouse. Six weeks had passed and no sign of you or the awning. I called your office and was told that I would be called with an update of the status. No call was received. I called the number provided and left a message. Someone called back, I believe his name was Mike, and an appointment for install was made for the afternoon of July 3rd. On the 2nd of July we were informed that the install could not be done because the awning had not yet arrived. I do not understand how an install can be completed if you do not even have the product. On the 11th of July the awning was installed, which was 7 weeks from the date it was ordered. The individuals who completed the work did an excellent job. Full payment was made according to the amount due on the contract after install was complete. The next day we received a phone call informing that an additional payment was due, which we made. At that time we were told that an updated bill would be emailed. I still have not received it.

The gentlemen that came the first day were very good. They called to ask permission to change their plan, move things, etc. They were very careful and neat. The 2nd day I did not feel they were as careful and left lots of insulation remnants in my house and garage. A phone call would have been nice the 2nd day to warn me of the mess I was coming home to. There was a different person the 2nd day as first.

Overall, a very good experience with Comfort Windows - We had 12+ double hung windows replaced, along with a large bay, kitchen casement, 3 entry doors, and a large 9'-0" wide, 3 panel slider out to a patio. Pricing was more than fair and the quality of the products was good. Fabrication time was a little longer than expected, but acceptable. One week to install. The installation crew was courteous, neat, efficient, cleaned up every day, and answered all our questions. Only one minor issue with a single window grid being manufactured crooked, but they came back a few weeks later with a quick replacement, no questions asked. Would highly recommend.
