I hire Jean and his son to do the siding and windows of my house. They had done a great project right up the road in my neighborhood. We were going into the winter so we scheduled to start the project at the end of March first of April. The were right on top of the schedule. They had the windows in November and they suggested installing those right away and my wife and I agreed to that and they did a great job and were so respectful of the inside of the house and cleaned up every day. One issue that they talked to me about was the vinyl siding pricing was going up and again they suggested we buy the siding and store in the garage to avoid an 8% price increase. I again agreed to that and they were going to give me some time to pay but we paid right away with the 8% savings. So they started the job right when they said they would and communicated with us all through the winter about starting dates. The job went great! We had some wood rot and they fixed all that and kept the outside cleaned and old materials in the dumpster at the end of the day. Our house is 27 years old, and was in need of siding and windows. We were impressed by the work that JMR was doing on a home near us, and we asked Jean-Marc to give us an estimate. He was very flexible in helping us select the siding, windows, insulation and gutters. We had some significant carpentry added to the job, changing the size and style of a couple windows and replacing a French door with two windows. Jean-Marc and Claude were absolutely professional, immaculate and accurate. Their work ethic is impressive, and they would always keep us appraised of their plan going forward. The house is way less drafty and I think there is no more water getting into the house. He was very polite, professional and thorough. It was amazing to watch their craftsmanship. We had total siding and front door replacement. JMR and company were: quiet, professional, calm, proficient, clean, organized and prompt. We never witnessed shortcuts or waste of product. They never complained about others' shoddy work. They just figured out how to make it right. We were tired just watching them work. Very reassuring to have the owner/operator actually doing the work on site each day- a must for us. Stop looking for a contractor just hire them. It will be $$ well spent. Thank you very much. Hint: Nail down the contract several months prior with color, style, and work start date. We visited his work at several other houses nearby both large and small jobs and were impressed.

Our home is 30 years old, with original windows and siding. It was time to replace the windows, and as the siding needed work, we decided to go ahead had have the siding replaced as well. JMR was one of three companies that came in to give us an estimate, and for the work we needed to do, came in at a very competitive rate. What truly set them apart was the willingness to install new construction windows and do the inside trim work around the windows. We hoped to have the work completed before the weather got cold and the snows came. Jean-Marc assured us that he would be able to complete it before Thanksgiving, subject of course to the weather. Although the work started a week later than anticipated, the weather held and the work was completed on schedule. As with any job of this magnitude, there were issues hidden underneath the existing siding and in the existing window openings. They addressed those issues quickly and efficiently. He was also more than happy to make suggestions based on things he found (or didn't find) during the course of the work done on the house. As a result of this, we discovered that a bathroom exhaust vent had become disconnected from the roof vent, allowing warm, moist air to collect in the attic, which we then able to fix right away. Based on our experience, we would not hesitate to recommend JMR to anyone who is in need of siding or windows. I've attached before and after pictures of the house. The difference between the two is stunning.

Jean-Marc and his son installed replacement windows on our 1950's house. Sixteen windows were replaced with energy efficient Harvey windows. The installation went so smoothly. After dealing with a couple of horrible contractors, my wife and I were hesitant to continue hiring people to work on our house. Jean completely restored our faith that there are indeed still people out there that truly take pride in their work and doing things right! We had Jean replace our windows, siding, and put new gutters on our house. He was always punctual, took a lot of time explaining his products, and even brought a trailer full of samples for us to look at. Even when Jean uncovered issues beneath our siding, or when we asked him to do additional tasks, his price adds were very reasonable. Where other contractors would have considered their work complete, Jean truly went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. When one of our windows was a little tight to close (he noticed, not us) he brought the manufacturer out to remedy the issue. I can’t say enough positive things regarding Jean Marc’s company. He is a true craftsmen ! This is the second time we’ve used him and we have been extremely impressed with all aspects of the work he performed. About 5 years ago we had Jean replace all of our old Rivco windows with Harvey triple glaze replacement windows and we were ecstatic with how well everything went. We couldn’t believe how meticulous he was and how he stuck to the time line and price that he committed to. He walks his talk. His pricing is very competitive and his workmanship is top notch. We recently called upon Jean again to replace all of the old wooden fascia board off of our two story colonial with Azsek and again his pricing was very reasonable and the workmanship superior. We are now going to have him install gutters and we’re fully confident we will be pleased with the end result. I don’t usually write reviews, but the job that was done by JMR Siding is worth one. From the beginning with the quote, through the final inspection, Jean showed his knowledge of the job. His professionalism in doing the work also made things easy on us, the homeowners. During the quoting process Jean discussed multiple options. Even prior to providing the written quote he was able to give us an idea of what each option was going to cost. This gave us the ability to choose what we wanted up front. We had the work done in the spring and Jean gave us a good idea when he would be able to start even though weather could have been a factor to the schedule. Jean kept us informed, and when the date got close, called to give us the specific date he would start. He also told us how long the total job was going to take, and in the end, was right on schedule. He also told us what the job was going to cost, and once again, was right on the money. When the date came, JMR Siding showed up first thing in the morning on the day promised. They showed up every day, worked hard from the time they arrived until late afternoon every day, only taking a half hour each day to eat lunch in their trucks. At the end of each day they cleaned up any and all debris. Our house is over 100 years old, has settled, and there were many obstacles that had to be overcome. The previous siding contractor had the same problems, but the work done by JMR Siding exceeded our expectations and was better than that done by those before them. His attention to detail corrected many of the problems one would encounter with an older home. JMR Siding also installed a couple of windows and a new front door. Everything they did came out fantastic. We’ve had neighbors and friends compliment the work and a few of them also asked for his business cards. We would highly recommend JMR Siding to anyone. We had Jean come out to take a look at our windows on our first floor. We had gotten 1 quote already and wanted a few others. Jean was friendly and knowledgeable. One of the first things he said was that in his honest opinion the windows did not need to be replaced and looked like they were in really good condition. He said he would replace them if we really wanted him to but he saw no need. He did confirm however, that two of our windows did have rot damage in the frame. He said what he could do/recommend for us that he would replace the rotting frame/trim and them make customized aluminum pieces to fit all the window frames to prevent water from getting in in the future. Therefore it would prevent any more rot and help the windows last a little longer. We thought it sounded good and were happy with the price so we agreed to have him do it. He finished it in one day a few weeks later. He was very professional and his work came out wonderful. Almost looked like it was part of the window. You can't even tell unless you look up close. He came over that night to go over what he did with us, make sure we were happy and go over what we owed. He was great to work with and we will be sure to use him if need be in the future!

We had 9 panels around the house that had developed cracks and damage. Called Jean to see when he could replace them and was told "I can be there 7am tomorrow". Talk about timing and responsiveness! Sure enough Jean was here the next morning and within an hour he had replaced the damaged panels, replaced a fascia that had been blown off by a heavy wind storm and nailed down a few loose places. We'll be discussing replacement windows next!!!!
