Everything was very smooth and simple. I call ahead, get an appointment, and come in on the agreed date and time. They were very friendly and helpful. The service was very quick and I got a full tint in less than 3 hours. No complaints, would definitely refer anyone to go there. I was also referred by multiple people over many years and I cannot say they were wrong to do so.

This was the first time I've had one of my cars tinted and after a Google search I discovered Sunshield. I went over to get some information and was very impressed by the whole operation, the number of customers that were having work done that day, and the time Hamid spent with me to go over my options. No hard sell at all -- just information and prices. I set up an appointment and the car was done in one hour(!) and looked fantastic. I was also happy to see that his price included tax. Apparently Sunshield has been here for over 35 years and the professionalism and quality of work shows why. Big recommend!

I had all five windows tinted on my Polestar 2 by Sunshield. They were easily the best price in LA for XPEL XR Plus film. But, beyond that, they were really nice on the phone. I ended up having to bring the car back as I wanted the 3rd brake light covered. They totally took care of me - excellent work! I highly recommend checking them out.

I had my car tinted here, my co-worker highly recommendated this place, So I called and spoke with Hamid, he quoted me a price and I made an appointment. I showed up and filled out the paperwork and waited in the lounge area, my car was done in about an hour. Service was fast and everyone was friendly and professional The window tinting looks great, I chose 15%( 1 level below the darkest tint) I was told to not roll my window down or wash the Inside of the windows for 24 hours to let the film dry off, they put aa sticker over my window controller to remind me not roll down my windows for 3-5 days

Two years ago I was tinted my car by ceramics shield in this place. And thanks God that I did because of today some jerks try to smash my driver window three times without success - the ceramic film was keeping my window strong! It safe a lot of money because inside the car was expensive stuff and if no ceramic film I was be losing everything. Hamid and Allison were great from scheduling to install. Heard how challenging the Model 3 was to do and wanted to be sure I had someone reputable and with good recommendation. Found Sunshield highly recommended on the Tesla forums and scheduled the appointment. Day of install was a success, Hamid walked the vehicle with me and noted any pre-existing damage or imperfections (unfortunate that this is a necessity but I definitely understand) and took the car in to be tinted. In about 2 hours - everything was complete and looked great. Hamid has a perfectionist approach and a keen attention to detail. The job is flawless as far as I can tell and the rear (where the challenge lies with the M3) looks great. Allison was awesome leading through the tint selection process and had answers to every question I had (even before I had them - you can tell they've had a huge number of Tesla owners through). Definitely recommend Sunshield for any M3 owners and anyone else looking for a quality job at a fair price. I will say that these guys are BUSY. Make sure to call in advance and be prepared for a few days wait to get slotted in - popularity just speaks to their craftsmanship. For reference XPEL Prime all around and rear, 35 sides and 15 back.

Outstanding business, quality product and stand behind their work. True lifetime warranty was honored over 10 years after initial install. Additionally, Sunshield took the time to refresh a minor issue I wasn't even concerned with. Good to see a small family business thrive. Only possible downside is appointments might be booked out for a few weeks, patience required but what isn't backed up under covid? Made an appointment about a week in advance. I planned to get my new car’s 5 windows tinted but when I got there he said since my back windows were already tinted, I really only needed my front two done. I saved about an hour and $100 and I don’t regret it. This place gets busy!! It’s right off the 101 so make sure you give yourself time to get there. I waited for my car in their conference room and it was very quick and affordable. I chose the heat eliminating tint and it’s been about a week since my appointment and I definitely notice my car has been staying cooler! My entire family has been coming to this place for well over 12 years. The older man who runs it is a very kind and patient man who takes time to speak to everyone on the phone and doesn’t rush you through the options and gives his honest recommendations. They are affordable and worth it, but make an appointment!!

I found this place on Yelp and trusted great reviews they had, so I called and a very nice lady answered the phone. she asked me what kind of service I'm looking for. I explained that I already have some tint on my car but since i have a little baby, the existing tint is not covering the sun enough. I was impressed that even without looking she could determine what kind of tint I already have (I guess it's standard) I could make an appointment as soon as next day so I did. The lady on the phone said it would take about 1.5 hours to finish my car. I arrived on time. I was greeted and walked to the client waiting room. There, I was visually offered types of tint they have. Originally I wanted to have completely blacked out tint which is called "limo" but they explained to me that if I do that I completely won't be able to see outside at night and suggested I do one shade lighter. The price was the same for either so I went with the lighter as they suggested. It took only 40 min to finish the job and it was done very nice in my opinion. While I was waiting for my car to get ready there were 2 other customers sitting with me. One said that he is bringing his 3rd car to tint to this place because it's so good and another lady, who brought this time her sons car to tint said its her second time here and she is super happy. Overall I'm very happy with the customer service on the phone, with professional suggestions they made and with the actual work done and with the price.I highly recommend this place!

I had a good experience having my car windows tinted at Sunshield a year ago, so when I got a new car I brought it there to get it tinted as well. They've always been pleasant both over the phone and in person. The tint job is excellent quality and was done very quickly. The price was more than fair, it was less than I was quoted at every other shop I called. There is a pretty decent lounge in the shop to wait in, and there are a bunch of restaurants and coffee shops nearby for an easy walk while you wait for the job to complete. I couldn't ask for more, and will happily bring my next car there to get tinted as well!

Over the phone customer service is awesome, and they are friendly, plus very detailed in the explanation of the tint. Prices for the work performed and quality is great, 5 stars for that. But, my car smelled of cigarettes? Just being honest and that habit might not matter to others. But, when you can't open your windows for a few days to dry the tint, the smell does suck some. I would still recommend this spot to anyone needing or wanting tint

I've owned many cars over the years. I've had lots of them tinted all over the country. This is one of the best shops I've ever been. - The owner is simple and concise about pricing, products and warranty information. - They have 5 staff on hand to tint my car in 20 minutes flat. - They have ceramic tint, in the perfect quality shade colors, with the perfect fitment and quality work. It really keeps the interior cool by blocking all the IR light. I literally couldn't be happier. It's worth the drive to get the job done right the first time. ****** With any tint job, I go over it all myself in the parking lot before and after the job and catch any dirt beforehand or tiny little bubbles afterwards. I highly recommend you do this. Use microfiber and window cleaner before you go. It takes ten minutes. After they're done, check each window. My rear window needed another 10 minutes of bubble removal in the back, which they did on the spot. Now, the whole job is flawless. Where else are you going to get a perfect Ceramic Tint in about 20 minutes in LA for $350? Come on. Great place. Just clean your windows, and check your car when it's done to make sure it's up to your standard if you're a perfectionist like me. *******

Im am sure there are tinting places all over this city but when it comes to value and quality this is it! My friend recommended me this specific business as she had her windows done here as well and was impressed by the service and price. We waited until we purchased a new car and it was time for the back tint to help with sun for the kid’s carseats. I called and was able to make an appointment the same day on the afternoon. Receptionist on the phone was extremely friendly and gave me the price including tax right there and then, so I can be prepared. Now, I have to tell you that their prices are so affordable, I have a very large SUV with a total of 5 windows in the back and the price I got was nothing as I expected, but pleased. I arrived at the address, you have to go to their back parking and then go back to the front store as it’s right by freeway entrance. Fill out simple paperwork and the technician call you to tell you what you have now and what are the options. I ended up getting the darkest tint which is absolutely perfect, especially for LA’s sunny days. An hour and 10 min later Boom! It was all done and I was out the door! The job is done perfectly, I did not find any imperfections at all. Overall very very pleased with their store, I’ve heard multiple positive outcomes from other friends too.

I was referred to Sunshield through my auto body shop and have to say that their reputation precedes them in a good way. I've done business with them on several occasions and they have always done a good job. While I have seen worse work from other shops, I have also seen some superb work as well. I haven't used them for residential yet, so I'd be curious to see how they do. They do a lot of business with dealerships and I see a lot of high end cars and clientele going through this nondescript location. And the appointment system speaks for itself in terms of, "Business is booming."

Dec 6,2019*** 4th car I’ve brought here and service is just as good! My brand new Audi looks just as good as my last Audi if not better. I love the quality! Every car I have the first stop is Sun Shield. I bought my car down the street at Keyes and as I was pulling out of the lot I called up Sunshield and asked if I could come in within the next 5 minutes and Omid took me in (without an appointment)! They tinted my car and couldn’t be happier with the service. His staff is quick and efficient. I love how the owner Omid really values his business and his work. He greets every customer and does a final check on every tint job before you drive off. Also he stands by his work. (Speaking from experience) I’ve sent many people here because of this...and don’t get me started on the quality...it’s great! This place was FANTASTIC. They didn't try to con me in getting the most expensive material. They were honest about the risks of having the darkest tints in the driver side, the owner escorted me out and finished off my car personally, and chatted me up about how experienced he and the company is. Very friendly staff and more importantly top notch work. I purchased a vehicle from a big dealership and one of the stipulations of my deal was tinted windows, which is what brought me to Sunshield. They explained and demonstrated the differences between regular Carbon tint and the upgraded Ceramic tint. After discussing the vehicle's future daily routine, we both agreed that the more expensive Ceramic would not be necessary and the Carbon tint would be more than adequate. I really appreciated the honest suggestions instead of trying to upsell for more money. The quality of their work is top-shelf and I'm extremely happy with my new tint. This is such a great tint shop. Hamid, the owner, is great, the workers are great, and the reception staff is great. These guys are like artists when it comes to window film; they really know what they're doing. When I came here there was a miscommunication between me and Hamid on how I wanted my tint. These guys are great! Got here right at 11 for my appointment and and 20 minutes later the tint was on and set outside to dry. They sell CRYSTALINE TINT which is a must for the LA heat!!! They also had the cheapest quote I could find. I just got two front windows down since all the others were already tinted and it was $120 for crystaline so I am happy!
