We recently had a very large patio door installed by Hy-Bar. The entire process from the initial consultation and coordinating with the office, to the installation was wonderful. The entire staff are true professionals. They charge fair prices and their work and customer service are beyond excellent. Thank you to the whole team; Zander, Sandra, Joey, Skylar, and Dan (Utah), for making this amazing addition to our home. Don't believe the competition, Hy-Bar is the best in the valley!

I admire the speed and craftsmanship of the Hy-Bar Door specialist who fixed all entrances to my home recently! They have been to my home twice and both times were quick and really addressed a very stick sliding door which the Builder told us was sticky forever! It’s been 19 years of sticking and yanking on the handle. Well the door slides open and closed freely now because of Hy-Bar’s work. Thanks for the relief.

I needed a small fix to the passive dual front door to get it to open as it was jammed. I wasn't able to open it anymore making it difficult to move large things in and out. After a web search I decided to try Hy-Bar because they listed ability to handle residential needs whereas most companies only handled commercial spaces and industrial garage doors. They scheduled a technician to come out, but his truck broke down. They were quick to contact me and assure another tech team would make it out that day as long as I had the time. They were able to quickly diagnose problem, fix quickly (within 15 minutes) without any need to order parts and prolong situation. Truly helps to have door operative again.

I had a great experience with Hy-Bar Windows & Doors! Our new home had French doors with a broken astragal, which we were able to diagnose at home, but unsure of how to order parts for/fix. We were a little reluctant to have a professional take a look since we’re DIYers, but sooo glad we did! John went above and beyond to help us out—the first time he came out, he wasn’t told by his schedulers that it was an astragal issue, so unfortunately he wasn’t able to bring the part. At our second appointment, he installed the new astragal, weather proofed our doors (at my request), realigned everything, and even tinkered with our sliding patio door that had some issues and ended up fixing it! We were quoted $3,000+ for new doors by another company, and ended up spending a fraction of that (~$500) for like-new doors. Highly recommended! Sometimes you just need a professional.

Very happy with our Hy-Bar experience! Their tech Jordan was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He came to our home and evaluated our sliding door issue and gave a recommendation on how to fix the issue which involved replacing our slider rollers with smaller ones to help with the sliding issue. We consulted two other glass companies who suggested completely replacing our door which would have cost $2000-$3000. We trusted Jordan and went with the smaller rollers and the issue has been resolved! Our over-sized slider moves with no more grinding. We also had a pleasant experience with Hy-Bar customer service during the process. Everyone was helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this company!

We needed some help with door locks and handles on a few of our doors that had been bugging us for years and our handy man and my husband had continuously had to fix but never could get them quite right. I finally called Hy-Bar and they sent out Marlon Lopez, he fixed 3 doors within 30 minutes and they are still functioning perfectly. He also adjusted and cleaned our large 4 panel sliding door and it feels like new again. Marlon is fast and he really knows what he's doing. Well worth the money. I found Hy-Bar online but before I contacted them, I asked a maintenance friend of mine to recommend someone who could replace a double-pane window for my home. He gave me three recommendations and phone numbers but suggested that Hy-Bar was better priced and that they did really good work. I chose to go with Hy-Bar. I called to schedule an appointment & based on my somewhat general measurements, they gave me a quote and sent Marlon Lopez out to measure the window the next day. He confirmed the quoted price and ordered the window. Because they had to work around my schedule, they couldn't install the window in their time frame, which was very good on their side. I had appointments that I had to keep. Once I scheduled the replacement, they were on time, thorough and fast. Marlon made short work of replacing the window and cleaning up. He was very pleasant, polite and knowledgeable. I am extremely pleased with my first interaction in using this business. And, yes, I would recommend this company for window replacements. That being said, I would write Hy-Bar Windows & Doors 1000 reviews of their performance. Team arrived at my house with proper Covid-19 gear on, completely professional. They took care of my issues quickly and efficiently. They cleaned up any dust or hardware left behind and they fixed my doors perfectly. They did not try to up-sell me or push anything that was not needed. A++++++ will definitely be calling back for additional services as required.

Marlon was right on time and did exceptional work. Our sliding glass door was difficult to open. Within an hour he had that door sliding with a push of a pinkie. The area was kept spotless, he cleaned up after he completed his work, and he wore shoe covers. He also wore a mask for COVID protection. It's a wonderful thing to find a professional who is so knowledgeable and cares about his work. A++ SECOND REVIEW: This was to replace the glass in a sliding glass door. Excellent service, leaves work area clean, true professionals. Arrives on time (or sooner) with COVID mask. Their customer service is friendly and helpful. Jeff gave me a quote on the work requested and that's exactly what I paid. The glass arrived a few days earlier than expected. Marlon and Jordan replaced the glass in our sliding glass door. We have had Marlon out twice to service our business front door. Our building is super old and our front door has never opened/locked right and this was aggravated further after our front shop was boarded up last summer. Marlon fixed the door so customers can easily come in and out with no more embarrassing wrestling with it! He also installed some sweeps and replaced the fur trims for us so we can keep the downtown outside trash OUTSIDE!!!! Marlon himself was wonderful to work with, explained everything well and generally has a really comforting demeanor. We are so thankful!!!!

I called them and made the appointment to have them come out and give me an estimate and after a few appointments first ordering the windows and setting the appointments for the replacement of all my windows (19) in total I finally have a nice draft free home again and they look wonderful. Between the inside coordination and the field construction work everything was handled very well. Last summer we had 3 sliders and 8 windows replaced by Hy-Bar (a locally owned window and door company) plus we had them install two barn doors with all the hardware. We wanted to update our 15 year old house with more modern, efficient, and attractive windows and doors. We are very happy with the end results. Everyone at Hy-Bar was very helpful from our estimator Shane, the scheduler Felix and Hyram & the installation crew members. Hy-Bar was very responsive to our requests and Felix was great keeping us updated on the status of the final install items. Hy-Bar is an alternate vendor for Anderson doors and the price was better then another vendor for the Anderson stuff. We went with the Anderson sliders since they have a wood interior finish, much heavier then the old doors and we got the sun protection package for the glass. I would note that the sliders took longer to manufacture then was first estimated so plan on it taking about 6 weeks for those items. Otherwise the project came off smoothly and when we need to replace our other 18 windows I will definitely call Hy-Bar for a quote.

I recently purchased a resale home and the previous owners were neglectful when it came to the tracks in all the windows especially the sliding glass doors which were hard to open and I just couldn’t take it anymore. I found Hy-Bar through one of the free home improvement magazines that you get in the mail and I figured I would take advantage of the sliding patio door special. I was able to have someone come out that same day due to a cancellation. They sent Marlon out and he called me 20 minutes before to confirm and when he arrived he was friendly and got right to work on the door. Fortunately he was able to find new rollers that would fit for my sliders because mine were 30 years old. He cleaned up the tracks and adjusted the door latch and lubed the tracks and my slider works perfectly now. I don’t have to buy a new slider now. I will definitely call Hy-Bar and ask for Marlon. I was asked to leave a review good or bad.

The Windows have been basically worry free and I know they have saved us thousands of dollars in terms of lower electric bills over the years. A couple of years ago several of the operating mechanisms on some of the casement windows failed. There were also some pieces of plastic/rubber trim on the outside of the windows that had blown off and I wanted to replace them. I contacted HyBar and scheduled a service call. Jordan, the tech, came out and evaluated the status of the operators. He was able to improve the operation of a couple of the windows and sliding glass doors. He said that he would need to order parts and would return when they came in. It took three trips over 9 months to get all the parts that had been backordered due to the age of the windows. To their credit, Sandra and Monet in the Service Department followed the order and updated me on when I could expect to receive it. The final piece of the backordered parts were installed yesterday. And to Andersen Window’s credit, they specially manufactured the trim pieces that had been out of production for several years. Thank you to Jordan, Sandra and Monet for seeing this through to completion. You don’t see efforts like this to provide this type of excellent service very often and I truly appreciate their efforts.

It has taken me over a year to post this review because of my very mixed feelings regarding my pocket door installation. While we are happy with the finished product, I found that what was an exciting project became a nightmare. I actually liked the fact that this is a family operated business but with it comes many flaws. When the glass of our old slider shattered, I looked into several replacement options; ultimately deciding to modernize the home and install pocket doors. We spoke with one other company before going with Hybar as it has been in our community for over 30 years and this truly is a nice family. I entered into a contract in early June and was informed that the doors would arrive for installation in 10 weeks. Tentative installation was supposed to start in late August - early September. After receiving no communication from Hybar, I began follow up calls, finally becoming frustrated. But that was only the beginning of my experience! Once the workers tore into the wall, they found plumbing and electrical that needed to be moved. The layout of the home obviously had not been considered when the space was evaluated for the project . The son was not an engineer and never considered what was upstairs. The main plumbing and electrical from the upstairs bathroom had to be rerouted. This resulted in another $4000 expense. I felt like I was in one of those DIY project nightmares that you see on TV. The painter's work was just awful. What was once a newly painted room has to be repainted as he did not bother to color match (and it was simply Swiss Coffee). There were other issues that transpired but the owner, a kind man, did negotiate the final out of pocket expense for me for all of the miscommunication. I am doing some finish work (framing and floor gap repair) to the door and will finally correct the paint. The doors are beautiful but a hard lesson was learned. Do your homework and get all of the information that you can before endeavoring upon such a big project!

I was collecting bids for replacement of about half our windows because I didnt think my budget was big enough to do all of them. My house painter referred me to HyBar windows so I called them for an additional bid. The cost came in and I was able to do the whole house (20 windows) for slightly more than the other bids i had for 10 windows. Everything went as smoothly as can be expected with a large project such as this. Naturally there were some bumps along the way but HyBar took care of all my concerns and in the end, did a great job. The windows look great, have a ten-year warranty and already we are seeing much lower power bills this summer.
