Recently, two 4’x10’ double glazed units in my house had to be replaced because the seals had failed. They are large and heavy pieces of glass. When I called Glass Doctor they answered immediately, and we quickly set an appointment for someone to come out and measure and prepare a quote. The person arrived on time, was friendly, worked efficiently and provided a quote immediately. They came back at my request with glass samples so we could best match the existing glass. The quote was very competitive, and I decided to go with Glass Doctor. Once the order was placed, they emailed or texted me to keep me informed of when the glass units would arrive. An appointment was made for installation and again they were punctual, efficient and friendly. They were careful when they came into the house and also careful with the plants outside since scaffolding had to be assembled to install the large glass units on the second floor. They responded to any questions and concerns I had. Everything went smoothly from beginning to end, and I sincerely recommend Glass Doctor. They were conscientious, courteous, and professional.

We had a completely stuck sliding patio door in an older townhome we recently bought. We didnt want to pay the money to completely replace the door, and Glass Doctor saved the day. The door frame wasn't even & has settled over the years so it wasnt an easy fix. They shaped the sliding doors to fit just right in 2 visits to where the door finally opens/closes smoothly & can actually lock/unlock. James & both Johnny's were professional, informative, & found solutions to a problem they hadn't seen before & saved us a lot of money. Will be using them again for any future needs!

Glass Doctor replaced a 3rd-story very oddly-dimensioned window we have on our home. The original class cracked on the inside, and Glass Doctor quickly came out and gave us an upfront estimate with no surprises. They were EXCELLENT at communicating and being patient with us while we had another contractor working on our home.... when we were ready for them to return, they had to reschedule twice due to poor weather (not their fault, of course), but we got it done on the third trip. Understand that Holiday timing and weather complicated my job such that we needed 4 appointments to wrap it up but would strongly recommend that all techs be given an oversized tarp or specifically strong vacuum to clean up glass when you have to strip from an upper window. John and Team are simply the best. They are super professionals and also they get what customers need, every time. We needed a balcony glass door to be replaced. John and team realized that it will be tough to match the exact tint on the glass. Hence they took a small sample of the current tint and the installer showed up with the glass which was pre-tinted with the right tint. That meant we did not need a second visit by a tint expert to come and finish the job. Work was completed on schedule, professionally, and with no surprises on cost. I broke the glass top on our square cocktail table and looked on the web for companies that could replace the glass. I found 3 with very good reviews but Glass Doctor of Houston was the most responsive. Their phone is answered by a person and their digital footprint is excellent. I was able to send pics of the table and gave them the measurements. Of the 3 companies, they were happy to send out a tech to measure which Gabe me a greater peace of mind. Justin showed up in time and his communication was professional and timely. He took his measurements, snapped a picture if the table and took my deposit. He told me the glass would take about 10 days. When it was ready the company texted me and we agreed on a delivery time. The glass needed a beveled edge and it came in perfectly cut. I highly recommend Glass Doctor of Houston.

I hired the glass doctor to make a glass covering for my dining room table. They came to my house for a measurement on very short notice. They took 2 weeks to order and cut the glass- which was quite fast. The on-site technician was very knowledgable on edge work and type of glass. he was able to guide me on my desired cutting. Unfortunately, he did not have samples to show me. I plan to use them again for future glasswork.

I called the Glass Doctor located on 12th street and spoke to Alicia that was very helpful and friendly and directed me to their location . Lee was then able to look at the parts I needed from the sample ones I had brought and not only was knowledgeable about what I needed but immediately was able to cut the 2 pieces to size that I needed and sell them to me at a very reasonable price . Shower will be clean and like new thanks to Alicia and Lee. Great experience and will call again for any glass needs. Above and beyond for a very trivial amount of business for them …. Had a simple 42”x44” bathroom mirror replaced and the installation was fine. Only issue I had was it took them 1 week to come out to measure the old mirror, which they insisted to do and then another 3 weeks for the mirror to come in (they quoted 7 to 10 days). With today’s supply chain issues it might not be their fault.

My husband and I donated commercial glass doors to our children’s preschool and hired Glass Doctor for the job. They were the best value by far. They came out and did the job in less than a day. However, removing the doors and installing new doors left an unfinished trim area, which looked bad, so we contacted John, the owner, and he immediately offered to make it right, even though this isn’t part of their typical job and was not included in our invoice. We paid for the doors before they corrected this, and at some places you worry about them following through especially after payment. But not John at Glass Doctor. They came out a few days later and left the job looking tremendous! They had cut out some trim to match the doors and the finished look was awesome and just what we had in mind. They are reliable, good, and cost effective. Highly recommend!

So I wasn't a huge fan of the website, but I called and got my answers. They were able to give me a rough estimate over the phone. The conversation wasn't pushyand he answered all my questions with obvious knowledge of the glass industry. I was glad I didn't have to explained much like to some trainee. I will be honest the price was a bit higher than I was expecting for some simple single pane glass. So I will be continuing to shop around. However if I was limited on time I trust this company could get the job done quickly and correctly. If you don't have the luxury of time this is a good choice.

I called on a Monday, scheduled a windshield replacement for that Wednesday, which ultimately got rescheduled to Thursday because there was a storm and I didn't have a covered area for them to work. Every step of the process was laid out for me, the quote I was given is what I was charged, the technician called when he was 15 mins away, showed up in the scheduled window, was extremely friendly, and finished within the hour.
