After owning about 30 cars over the years, I've never heard of Midnight Tinting. And I've tinted just about every one of em. Until one day a customer brings his Tesla Model 3 to my shop for a safety inspection. The tint was just so well done that it looked as if the glass was manufactured that way. No tint borders on the side windows, not a spec of dirt or crease in the film, and this happened to be a 3yr old tint job too! So I took delivery of my new Model S Plaid a few days ago, and pondered where I would take it for the tint. After this day, I new exactly where! Midnight Tinting! Upon arrival, and after seeing their installation bay, I knew I made the right choice! I'll let the pictures do all the talking. Infact I was so impressed, that I'm planning on bringing my Lamborghini to get it re-tinted. Although the tint on the Lambo is only months old, I really feel it's worth it to bring it to Midnight for the redo, due to the specs of dirt, creases, and air bubbles it has. I do have the eye for perfection, and Midnight Tinting has that skill and attention to detail that I've never experienced with any other tint shop ever! These guys have been doing this since 1998! BTW when you get there, their roll up doors will always be closed. That's to keep the dirt out so your tint comes out perfect! Just go through the small side door.

Super professional, excellent work. Tint is precut to precise dimensions by a high tech machine. Felt so confident in their skills and the work spoke for itself. Also the most comfortable waiting room I have been in- full HBO max, Hulu, YouTube via apple TV in a clean climate controlled room. Have never been more comfortable and entertained while waiting.

1 week Update 8/22/2021: So far can't be any happier with my tint. I have 35% tint all around and Hawaii legal front film with a 5% strip up top. The type of tint I chose is a ceramic tint due to Hawaii's heat during the summer. Had a nice and pleasant experience. Nice wait room if you don't have a ride to just drop off your vehicle. Also very clean restroom facilities. Prices are very fair and the tint job is what I have expected and more. As long as they are open I will take all my vehicles there as well as recommend anyone asking me who to go to for tint.

First off, I recommend this shop. Great prices and professional setting. Lighting, Supplies and Products are all essential. I’ve worked with a lot of high end wrap and tint shops and can happily say I have another place to add to my recommendation list. Waiting room was awesome. Apple TV, lounge area, etc. Customer service was professional and very friendly. Highly recommend.

I wanted to write a 5 star review after having our New tesla model Y wrapped by Brett. What an awesome guy, he’s so talented at what he does. He really puts his all in his work and actually cares about his customers. The work was excellent .Seriously he wrapped out the car in matte paint protection film and you cannot tell it’s film. Everything covered perfectly, and he even threw in ceramic coating. He was so busy. The first time we were going to drop the car off, he asked if we could reschedule for following week. Which wasn't a problem. Seriously just see Brett for any film product here on the big island. Mahalo Nui Loa . Thanks again Brett.

Midnight tinting is the premier tinting service on Oahu, I've had several of our cars done by Ron and will continue to keep going back every time. The service is fast, clean and done with care you get your car back and you don't even know anything was done. He uses xpel ceramic tint which comes with a warranty. The shop is on sand island and easy to get to, the waiting room is clean and comfortable if you have to stay and wait. Do yourself a favor don't look any further make an appointment now.

I got all of my windows done on my sedan including the windshield, the staff here are very helpful and kind, the waiting area makes you feel right at home and if air-conditioned. Very fast installation and the quality is by far the best I have ever seen. I got the higher quality Expel tint to protect my 5 month old daughter in the back of the car. Moved from WA where the legal limit is 25%. Didn't pass Hawaii safety inspection, which requires 35%. Stopped by to get a quote to change out the front windows, and they were able to do it the same day. Very friendly and professional. It was a little more than my original tint job, but I suppose everything costs more on the island.

This is a great place to get high quality tint. Ron has always done an exceptional job with a quick turnaround. There is a really comfortable and cool waiting room with Netflix on Apple TV. I hung out today, watched couple of YouTube videos that’s all it took for my truck to be finished. The shop is clean, organized and cooled. Ron provides awesome costumer service with a warrantee. I will call them next time I have a truck or car to tint.

I've had two vehicles tinted here a 2014 BMW M5 and a 2017 Toyota Tundra. Ronald does amazing work not only tinting cars but his shop is truly impressive. Built and designed by Ronald the attention to detail is impressive. If you decide to wait while your windows are tinted, come prepared to relax, watch a movie in his living room type waiting area. You'll want to stay there and chill the rest of your day. The Xpel XR tint he is using my truck feels noticeably cooler after sitting out in the hot sun all day. Really happy that I decide to go with Midnight Tinting although it's a bit pricey you get what you pay for and it's worth it. Look no further and choose MT for your car.
