Extremely happy with my new shutters! I was planning my kitchen/living room renovation and I KNEW that I wanted to change my mini blinds to shutters. I talked with several companies and doing shutters for condos are not trivial and not usually done. Then I called Budget Blinds and they were willing to come out and look at my window. John was great! He explained the challenges but said he was up to it if I was! A small modification was needed to enable the frame to be mounted. He worked with my contractor and the results were stunning! (See before and after photos.) John and Elspeth are wonderful to work with. They are so supporting and understanding. Don, who came out to install the shutters was such a perfectionist! He did an incredible job. They not only provide great customer service at a great price but also pride themselves in doing the best job that they can. So refreshing in our current time of just doing a job as quickly as possible. I would definitely recommend Budget Blinds to everyone who wants quality window treatments. Mahalo John and Elspeth!

Mark was so friendly and so professional. He came over right away and met us, then gave us our estimate. He was running a special but still gave us a military discount on top of the special he was already running. My wife and I never felt pressured into buying anything. We wanted something modern and with great heat reduction. Mark set us up with the perfect ones. After we ordered the blinds he kept us updated on when they would arrive. The day of installation Mark came with John to help instal. They were in and out in a couple hours. We had 22 blinds replaced. They were very friendly, and left the house very clean. I would recommend Budget Blinds of Honolulu to everyone. 10 out of 10!

I love open/lighted/airy windows but during the summer there’s a need to filter out the warmer sunlight. I’ve researched over 6 months trying to decide what would be best for a double kitchen window that would not be too sheer able to withstand trades. Got in touch with Marc and was surprised his “small business” is in operation for only 6 years. Wearing a mask, he took measurements offered suggestions and addressed my questions and concerns adequately. I chose a sun-filtering woven blind with a targeted shipment of 4 weeks from a China manufacturer that actually took 6 weeks. After 4 weeks, I called. He explained that the delay was with the change in a minimum of 25 orders before shipment and would call when he received it. I didn’t hear back so I called. He said it was busy with many orders in at the same time. Because I couldn’t get installation date for a while, I decided to install on our own. He delivered blind and returned $25 installation charge in cash. Blind and brackets are of very good quality. Very happy. Will order again.

Very happy with our new blinds from John and Elspeth at Budget Blinds! Their thorough home consultation with us was very detailed. The knowledge of their products showed us they really cared about providing us with a quality product that we would be satisfied with. You could tell that they took pride in their business. They were very honest and easy to work with. Installation crew was friendly and trusting. Blinds went up easily and adjusted as we requested. I would highly recommend using them. We shopped around with other competitor companies in the beginning and are glad we went with John and Elspeth.

We wanted to replace the ancient curtains in our condo's living room and master bedroom with fabric vertical blinds, so my husband did some research and asked Budget Blinds to visit and give us an estimate. Marc was courteous and professional and answered all of our questions thoroughly. We took our time and looked through the huge selection of vertical blinds samples that he brought, and eventually chose an elegant pattern that would comply with our condo association's policy on window coverings. A few weeks later, master installer Jon arrived with our new blinds. He did his magic and now our place is transformed! We couldn't have asked for a better experience from beginning to end. Excellent customer service, a fantastic quality product and very good experience. Will highly recommend to anybody and already have. We bought Plantation shutters but I have also seen their sunshades which are fantastic for large lanai doors. We were advised very well and the entire process and installation could not have been better.

this is an excellent company! both john and elspeth, the owner's are both great individuals, as well as superb business people. they are courteous as well as punctual! they work with you and explain your options and know what they are doing! no job is too small. we had a solar shade installed on our east window to protect our furniture and art, and it is beautiful! it does what we wanted...let's light in while blocking 97% of the harmful uv rays, and in the afternoon, we raise it and it disappears. either way, up or down, it looks great! I will definitely use them in the future, as well as refer any of my friends or associates to them. it was painless and so easy! thank you very much, john and elspeth!

Professional, also friendly, helpful, installation was perfect, have had no problems, am very satisfied. Probably won't use again because of the expense, but I'm glad I used them before I realized I should spend so much!
