Finding and choosing an honest, reliable, competent contractor that charges fair prices is difficult. Rhoades & Company is that rare breed: Knowledgeable, trustworthy, experienced, and competitively priced. Rhoades & Company was recommended to me by a new home contractor I trusted, a contractor with extensive experience with Rhoades and its work on new houses. I wanted a siding contractor that could properly re-skin my 30+ year old house, tearing off old clapboards and trim, fixing any known or unforeseen issues, and installing good quality vinyl siding along with windows of a very specific type. The job had twists and turns -- more than anticipated. The Rhoades team was up to the task, working very well with me from the planning and preparation through while the work was being done; and that includes the team on-site offering useful suggestions. Rhoades accommodated my need to come up the learning curve and to make important improvements. My house looks great, the job came in on budget, and I believe my house is tightly sealed against weather and other challenges for many years to come. Rhoades & Company -- from owner Dave Palla to the excellent team members on the job site -- earned my trust. These folks are real professionals. They listen to their customers. I cannot recommend them enough. They replaced my siding some windows and doors and changed my gutters after my house was damaged by hurricane Isaias in 2020. Once they were done my neighbors commended their great work so much so one of my neighbors wanted to hire them. They are down to earth and always willing to offer solutions to problems. Unfortunately some siding ripped off my house in a windstorm. Little did I know it would be difficult to find someone to come do the job during these trying times. After 2 no shows from recommendations from other people, I decided to just go on yelp. To my surprise, best decision I made. I sent out a request and David responded within the hour and came out the very next day to give me a quote. He was very reasonable and fair with pricing. The job was done within two days and I am very pleased with how it came out. They actually went above and beyond and went higher with the siding than they were contracted to do, also fixed some roofing nails that had came unloose. While they were up there I asked if they could clean out my gutters in which he also did for a fair reasonable price. I am beyond pleased with the service, preparedness, and diligence in the work that I was provided. I have already contracted David to install gutter guards for me as well. I will definitely continue to use his company. If you want someone professional and precise David is the guy.

I called Dave on Wednesday about a small job, and he said he'd stop by on Sunday to get it fixed, a very short wait time which I appreciated. Well, to our surprise, he eventually squeezed our small project in his schedule on Saturday instead. He even helped us to put up some screen windows and reinforce some gutter nail on the second story, with no extra charge. The aluminum siding on my house had come loose in a couple places and I thought I would have to have new siding. Dave from Rhoades and Company came to look at it, and said he could repair it. He did a great job, it looks perfect. Even though they are in the business of selling siding, Dave said his and Rhoades's philosophy is: 'We never want to sell you something you don't need.' It was such a pleasure having Dave and his guys working on my house. They have absolutely transformed my house! I had some wind blow off old aluminum siding and Dave came out and Quoted a great price on new vinyl( much lower than a couple local companies) and had his guys out the following Monday. On Friday I called Dave and then sent him couple of pictures about a small job on roof soffit, and he said he'd stop by on weekends to get it fixed. I recently built a new home and Rhoades & Company did the siding. They were great,! 2 months later when a minor issue came up they came right out and fixed them. The day they showed up I was also dealing with an unrelated flood issue from our washing machine that leaked into our basement and soaked some insulation. David offered to take a look at the leak and helped me to pull down more insulation that I thought was ok, he also discovered the leak flooded into 2 heating vents and pulled those sections down for me as well. He did NOT have to offer to help me in this situation - but he did! I would recommend this company to ANYONE looking for a reputable siding company. Due to intense windy and cold weather conditions, the minor problem became a bigger one.
