Very upfront and friendly. Ran into a problem with there being too much rust under the windshield to reseal correctly. As hard as the news was, their tech Dave took the time to explain why, and didn't just put it back in and waste my money. Took my Son's Rare Bug Collection Here because the glass casing broke, They took extra care in replacing the glass without harm to any of the Insects, which is very hard to do, Reasonable rates and done in a quick fashion. I had two insulated window panels replaced (one broken, the other fogged over). Sure, I paid more than if I did it myself, but these guys were 100% professionals. The service was totally worth the price. When they showed up, it look them about an hour to replace both windows, and they cleaned up after themselves. My only real complaint, is that all my other windows look filthy in comparison. They could have at least had a dog run their nose across the new glass or something. Here's a photo of my dog that broke the window.

Be sure to get the rain guard coating if you get a shower door! Very professional office staff. Very conscientious when they called that one of the windows had a blemish , they reordered . The windows were 20+ years of age and would have cost a fortune to replace though they only needed new glass. The Glass Doctor quoted competitively, completed the installation per schedule and found and installed a difficult piece of trim to complete the detail work. The installer was most professional in his work and response to my questiions.

The real win for this shop was the gentlemen who did the replacement - he was genuinely friendly, made sure we were comfortable (fresh coffee for me and a Hershey bar for my 6yo daughter) and got the whole thing done in an hour. Glass Doctor of Grand Rapids gave extraordinary service and did an excellent job when replacing glass on my older, oak framed windows. First, JENNIFER in the office was so polite, professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and communicative. Then, my specific appointment was scheduled days before around my schedule with a "we will be there in 15 minutes" phone call on the actual scheduled day and time. NO WATING for hours or days (late or forgot) like what happens with many other 2019 home services. DAN arrived with a positive attitude and did an excellent, professional job on my older multi- paned oak window frames, including a small unique, triangle cracked pane, part of a larger oak window. His experience and knowledge was quickly evident! In addition, he prepped the area with a tarp cloth and cleaned up his work area diligently afterwards. The cost was communicated days before, so there were no "cost-gotch you" surprises. A detailed invoice was given to me with a hardy thank you from Dan. I highly recommend this company! It was a pleasure working with them!

I had some usual circumstances (the last guy glued in all the trim pieces because he broke the clips, and the car required a lot of dis-assembly. ) "Dave" was awesome...easy to work with, positive & upbeat, professional, and made me feel like he had it under control...which he did.
