The installation crew were excellent. They showed us all the features of the windows and patio door while they were here. Their craftsmanship was top shelf. They arrived on time and were courteous and were very careful of the surrounding areas where they were working. I had alot of work done this summer and this was the only crew I didn't have to clean up after. When you need windows replaced ask for Ron and his guys you won't be disappointed. I couldn't have asked for more. Great product with great service!

It does not matter how good the product is, if you do not have a good experience with the installation then nothing is good. We had all our windows replaced and a new one put in. Ron and his crew were the best we could hope for. Always professional and courteous they made the installation go without any issues. Even in the bitter cold we had during it. The work quality was the best. We could not be happier with the finished job. You can not tell that the new window they cut in was not there when the house was built. We are very happy with the total experience from the sale through the installation. I will highly recommend Window World, Ron and his crew.

Purchased two windows for a living room remodel and Rick came out and installed them both the same day, earlier than we expected and just before winter. They were absolutely fantastic. Our home is rather old, so much so that insulation isn't in most of the walls; the difference with the windows between the rooms was instantly noticeable. It didn't take long before we ordered windows for the rest of the house. We were told that it would be about midsummer before the factory completed them and at the time we were pleased with how quickly that was (about a 4-5 month wait) with all the nationwide shipping difficulties. Again, we were impressed. They called us and let us know that the windows were done, 2 months ahead of schedule and that it would take a few days to install. Rick came out again and with just one more guy installed 15 windows in 2 days. Not only that but he even helped isolate a leak in the roof originating near one of the windows. I am still impressed by the quality and professionalism I've seen from them and for the price they are asking its almost criminal what the other options are charging. Thanks again, Rick!

I shopped three window contractors and here’s my experience. Dave was the sales person, he was on time, efficient, thorough and pleasant. I purchased the 4000 series window from him due to the value and quality. The windows arrived in the time they said they would. Ron and his crew put drop clothes down to start and proceeded to replace 11 windows and trim them out. Their craftsmanship was outstanding as well as their personalities. They went above and beyond on my 70 year old brick home including adding insulation as needed, caulking inside and out, and flaring the trim to cover the old non removable caulking on the brick. After completion my home was clean and tidy. Amazed at how efficient and thorough Ron and crew were. Would use again!

Ron's team came out in the bitter cold to install 13 windows in two days. The first day they installed them all and the next day the team completed the indoor trim and made very needed repairs to the outside trim. After that they completed the window wrap that I ordered. The crew was on time, even thou they had to drive an hour to get here. They were some of the most polite people I have ever worked with. They cleaned up all messes caused by the replacement. They also went out of there way to make sure the installation was completed correctly. They went above and beyond to complete the window installation and repair. We upgraded from the entry level window and we are still happy with our purchase and the service from Window World of Des Moines. In the past 10 years we have had just a couple calls for minor replacements and repairs. Both times - the service was great, timely, professional, and backed by the warranty. Things break, glad to have bought from a company that understands this and has a warranty to take care of the inevitable. Needed to replace 3 basement windows. A little odd they can't schedule more than 2wks out to install. Was not easy to remove: previous home owner nailed and glued things he shouldn't have. Really liked my installer Steve Nowman. I have an older house that had rotted out window sills and he made sure to take the time to replace them so my new windows could be installed properly. It took longer but I can tell he did it right and my windows look great. The windows were pretty inexpensive too.

We hired Window World to replace 9 windows in our home. From start to finish, we were impressed. The salesman was not pushy but helped explain the products and warranty. He took calls from us after hours to help us make our decision. The team that installed our windows was small (3 men) but they finished within 8 hours. We were impressed with their timeliness, attention to detail, and respect of our house. I overheard one of them telling the other person they were redoing a part of the window because they wanted to make it perfect - that made us so happy to hear they weren't rushing through the job. They stayed 10 minutes after finishing so I could return home and they could show us how to use and clean the windows. They were COVID safe and always wore masks, with only one person entering our home. The windows are GORGEOUS and instantly elevate the look of our house and make our home more efficient. We did an almost full window replacement for our Home. I picked the window - But the installer is what actually makes a Great window !! Our installer was "Ricky" and we were truly fortunate . In multiple projects in our home he was one of the few that really went above and beyond to answer questions - we would say thanks for telling us, and he would always say "OF Course this is your Home!" and He did an absolutely amazing job at installation and reinstalling our aluminum trim around the outside of windows. I went around and carefully inspected every window and could not find One area of concern - and truthfully better than the original. - Thank You Window World for sending Ricky as our installer!

Today I had Ricky and Steve at my house doing a sliding glass door repair. Both where very professional and on time. They let me know of a couple problem areas and where able to get that handled. I had a minor issue with one after cleaning, called and received prompt professional service. The service man (Les Douglas) noticed my door wouldn’t latch. Original install was not satisfactory but still giving five stars because they came back and fixed it. Great value for the money if you compare the price to the competition such as Anderson Windows which are 3x the cost for the exact same window. My only caveat is be wary of window salesmen who tell you that replacing your windows will "save you money". It is true that your utility bills will go down, but window companies have to file a construction permit with the county which actually causes your homes assessed value to go up. So whatever money you save in utility costs you make up for in higher property taxes.

My wife and I wanted to replace three windows in our basement. We were in the process of finishing the basement and did not want to move in further in the process until we had the windows replaced. We spoke to a few different contractors and non of them wanted to wanted to replace windows in the foundation. So we decided to contact a company that specializes in windows thinking that they would be able to help. I called Windows World because I had heard of them. I had not been referred to them so I was not sure what to expect. Zachary came out and gave me the rundown of what they could do and what options I had. This was early on in the pandemic and he was respectful and maintained an appropriate social distance while he was in our home. He was friendly, answered all of our questions. Sometimes he answered them before we even had a chance to ask. He was thorough and professional and there was no-pressure from him in the process. Someone came out to measure the window opening (didn’t catch his name) and he was quick and out of the way. Once the order was placed we had to wait until the windows were built and delivered to them before we could schedule. Once they were ready we were on the schedule for the following week. On installation day, the crew showed up exactly when they said they would. Derek came to the door, was very polite and I walked him to the windows so he could see where they would be working. He told me that there would be a couple of additional people joining him shortly. By lunch time they had the windows installed. They had some additional trim work to do on the afternoon but came to let me know that they would be heading out to lunch and would finish when they returned. After lunch they wrapped up the worm quickly. I signed the invoice and paid the balance and they were gone. The were fantastic. Place was cleaned up perfectly and they were gone. The best part of the whole project was not how great they were to work with at every stage. The best part was the windows. The final product was way better than I thought it would be. We are thrilled to death with the way it looks and would absolutely recommend them to anyone that needs windows replaced. Update (3/22/2022): after a great experience with the windows we went with them to replace a door and the door casing on the back of our house. The old door was a builder door and the casing was starting to rot. During the derecho it allowed water to leak in. Anyway, had the door replaced in January and we could not be happier. It took a couple of hours and it looks perfect. Definitely recommend.

I was not so thrilled with Window World itself, for sending me a video on how to fix the balancer and telling me I didn't need a repairman to fix it. The window did need parts replaced! The installers were very knowledgeable. They were a little messy and did not clean up as well as we would have liked. It would have been nice to know they were going to use their sawsalls to cut out the windows as this process was very loud. We like our new windows and would use Window World again with these changes.

The crew who installed the windows was very professional and also a great deal of fun! They were responsive to our requests to have one person on interior and to wear a mask due to having a high risk infant in the home. We thoroughly enjoyed having them at our home. And the windows are high quality and look spectacular. Our home was built in 1904 and windows still had the weights and pulleys and wooden frames. The first week after installation of new windows, we noticed a HUGE difference in the inside temperature! It remained consistent from room to room, which we haven’t seen in 20 years! Completely satisfied and can’t wait to get the upstairs windows done!!

Ricky and Blake were tasked with installing an 8.5’ window in my house. As if that weren’t enough, it was about 9 degrees outside. They didn’t let that stop them and were there right when they said they would be and got to work. My old bay/bow window was not in good shape, and they expertly removed it without issue. They exposed the window was barely held in and had little to no insulation, explained why my living room was so cold all winter. I had some of my siding up in my attic, which they retrieved so I didn’t have to, and installed the new window with correct support, framing and insulation. Absolutely professional great guys, I never felt uncomfortable leaving them alone in my home or garage. Most importantly, the window looks incredible, was professionally installed and my living room is the warmest place in the house now. I also don’t hear the cars driving by or dogs barking. Can’t put into words how happy we are with Window World and especially Ricky and Blake. Highly suggest requesting them to do your install. My only complaint is they went to Culver’s for lunch and didn’t bring me a pub burger.

The six windows I ordered were installed a few weeks ago. I absolutely love them! The installer, Cody, was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job. I was advised, at the time of purchase, that my windows would not be installed for several weeks, so that was not an issue. As it turns out, they were installed prior to our cold spell and I could certainly tell the difference compared to my old windows.

Windows were installed at the beginning of June. The 2 man crew worked fast and were extremely nice! Our salesman forgot to measure one window while here so had called back and had my husband measure it and said it would be added to the order, it wasn't and then he had to return a month later and measure it himself and we were charged more for just the 1 window. Definitely not happy with that as it should have been included in the first place.

Our installation was 1 year ago last week, and we are still very pleased. We had a sliding glass door put in where there was not one before, so they had to cut into the wall to make the space. Just today, the key from the outside was not functioning, so I called and they had a very professional man out in less than 30 minutes to fix it. He did so in about 5 minutes, and I'm confident the four screws he applied will prevent any further issues. Highly recommend. Yes, they are pricier than some other carriers. But, in this day and age, you definitely get what you pay for, and I'm glad that means we get better windows with better service.

After having consulted several companies for the installation of 17 new windows, I decided to go with Window World (they were cheaper and with similar window quality + Zach (the sales person) was very friendly and professional). Indeed, because of these factors, you will have to wait a bit for the installation to start (we had to wait about 3 months) BUT the installation went very well. The windows are as advertised and were correctly installed. I thank the contractor (Luis I believe) for his professional expertise: We had to open a hole in the wall for a window, he recommended not to because the opening would be too small (the structure of the wall plus a chimney preventing a correct installation). Zach came and discussed with him, the order was modified afterwards and the rest of the installation went well ! I recommend Window World.

I could not be happier with the installation crew, the quality of the windows, and most importantly the price. I had new Series 4000 Double Hung windows installed to replace my original 1950's era windows. The crew replaced all 11 windows in one day then came back the next to finish all the exterior trim. I was very pleasantly surprised that none of my interior trim work was damaged or needs to be replaced. Yes, there were two small hiccups with screens, but that happens occasionally and I'm fine waiting for the proper replacements. No job goes perfectly, but the crews handled everything professionally.
