I sent a message through their online form inquiring about window tint prices for my vehicle. Jen, the owner, responded with a text promptly providing pricing for different types and asked me to come in to see options or schedule an appointment. I stopped in last Saturday to see the options available and discuss the process and make an appointment. The gentleman working was very knowledgeable and patient with each question I asked regarding tint and the process. He had a few samples I was able to take out and place on the windows of my car to get an idea of the darkness of the tint. I ended up deciding to do a darker rear window and back 2 windows, which were tinted at 20% with the Supreme package (retail $399.99). I scheduled my appointment for this morning (Tuesday) at 8 am with a pick-up time of 2 pm. I was told that I could drop the vehicle off at any time before the appointment and use the key drop box located in the back of the building. Once I dropped off my car, I needed to sign a waiver electronically from the emailed estimate. A $50 deposit was required at appointment scheduling, which came off the total bill. This morning, I dropped my car off at about 4:25 am due to my work schedule. I parked in the back of the building by their garage doors and left my key in the drop box. As my fiancé and I left for work in his truck, I signed the waiver. At about 8:50, I received a call from Jen asking if I was going to make my appointment time and I said I had already dropped the vehicle off in the back this morning. She informed me that she hadn't looked and went to check and found it where had left it. After work, my fiancé took me back to the shop to pick up my vehicle. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite done yet. Jen apologized for missing the note on my appointment card stating the pickup time of 2 pm and felt bad for the inconvenience. She said it would take about another 2 hours to complete and that she would make it right. My fiancé and I had prior commitments, which is why we needed that pick-up time. We made the best of the situation and did what we could and came back at about 3:45 pm. They were just finishing up the back window and I waited for the vehicle for about another 15 - 20 minutes. During that time I chatted with Jen and loved on their shop pup, Jayla. The results of the tint look amazing; at least from what I could tell due to the very gloomy and rainy day we had been experiencing all day. I will take photos of the tint in the sun when I have a chance. If you're interested in window tint, give these guys a call. You'll love the work that's done. They provide many more aftermarket services for your vehicle too. Prior to paying we discussed general care, and things to avoid; I was told to give it 30 days to fully cure and to contact them if bubbles were visible after this time. Jen was true to her word and provided a discount due to the wait and missing the note about the pick-up time. I feel like the customer service here went above and beyond to make it right, which is why I wanted to share my experience. I'm just happy to see a company and its owners that value their customers' time and tries to make things right without a hassle. This quality is very rare now, and even though there was a scheduling mishap, which understandably happens, Jen did everything in her power to make it up to me and I was satisfied with her efforts. I can't wait to look into other options and packages they have. I will be back!

Stopped by to get a quote to remove tint from my windshield. I was greeted by a very nice lady, (one of the owners, I believe) and a young man. Got the quote quickly, and they were able to take my car in right away. I was in and out in less than an hour. The cost was reasonable, and I was very pleased with their work. The showroom was exceptionally clean, and the waiting area was very comfortable. Owner and employee were personable and professional. Should I need this type of service in the future, I will definitely go back.

I went to Best Buy originally in April to purchase a head unit for my vehicle. Install time was out by a month. Unfortunately, Best Buy was unreliable and their installer didn’t show up on installation day in late May, and I ended up returning their equipment to them. It would have saved me $600 to go through Best Buy with their free installation. However, what good does free installation do if the installers call out regularly?! Tint World costs a whole lot more, but I am extremely happy with the work performed and the reliability of their techs and installers. They installed a head unit that I absolutely love and works flawlessly. They even went above and beyond to fix my gas tank door release which was not properly connected to the latch. I was pulling on a string instead of a latch to open my gas tank door! On top of that, per my request, they ran the USB cable through my console and created an insert in my console to plug in a USB cable for any phone I wanted. This saved me the inconvenience of having to switch out USBs for different phones from the back of the head unit. Not only that, but the head unit with back up camera works flawlessly and I no longer have to use my AirPods to talk with people via Bluetooth. The microphone on the head unit is professionally installed and picks up my voice great. People don’t mind talking to me on vehicle Bluetooth! I am beyond satisfied and so grateful for the work Tint World performed for me. It was worth every penny! I highly recommend!

The team at Tint World was very knowledgeable regarding the options I had and provided a recommendation for service. They buffed out a minor scratch prior to application of the PPF. I called Tint World and asked about having paint protection film put on my Corvette, the folks said I could stop in an look at a couple of cars they had done, after stopping in, Shirley took me to the shop to see their work and was very helpful with my questions. They worked with me on an appointment date, so I wouldn’t have to bring the car out in the rain. I didnt know about going to a franchise, thinking they would want to over sell and be pushy, but they were everything but that, I would recommend them for sure and would go back to have other work done.

I took my 2020 Shelby GT500 to Shirley and her team at Tint World in Urbandale, Iowa and they did an amazing job. I had never done PPF or Ceramic before so I had a ton of questions and the owner and the installer took the time to answer all of them. The PPF install was fantastic. I had the front half of the car done plus some other areas and the cut lines were crisp and edges were wrapped very well. Can't even tell it is on there. Ceramic areas were clean and smooth and look great. I had two small areas that I questioned as they were on black surfaces and easily noticed and they had me come back in and they fixed them, no questions asked. If you take care of your car and want the job done right you can't have better customer service than that. Shirley and her team were great and earned my trust by making sure they got everything done right and that I was happy. Great place, I will be going back!

My headlights were very foggy and the guy I use for repairs said they were, “toast.” Needed to replace them. To replace would set me back a little over $600.00. Found Tint World online and and was near by so stopped in. After they worked on them I noticed a remarkable improvement and only cost $115.00!! I really liked how they did a walk around of my car looking for issues, taking pictures and sending me a detailed report. Furthermore, all the other services they offer I will be coming back for window tinting.

I had Tint World do a car wash, window cleaning, and clay bar treatment. The price was fair, especially if you've been doing this work yourself. The job was very well done, I must say. I was impressed with the windows. One thing I really liked was the level of communication. I was able to talk to several employees who worked on my car, and as a result the job was done exactly to my expectations. Not to mention, everyone was very courteous and polite. My only regret was that I wasn't able to get more work done from them.

I was looking through one of their catalogs they have out I was really surprised to see all the stuff that they can do it's really exciting to have a shop like this in Iowa.

I got a remote start system installed in my SUV here. I am very happy I chose this place because the service alone was top notch. I sent in an online service request with some questions and not even 12 hours later, I got a response. Which for me is a big deal as a night nurse because I am not always awake during standard business hours. The work was done professionally and they picked up after themselves. I was given thorough instructions on how to use the product before leaving the store after installation also. I will be returning for other needs and for my other vehicles.

Came here after another shop messed up my tint (multiple times). Called Tint World after seeing its reviews and Matt walked me through their packages and prep/tinting processes. When I arrived for my appointment, we did a walk-around of the car, they pointed out issues that I'd not previously seen (damage from the last shop), and helped me understand expectations. They began work on my car right at my appointment time, and the job was done within the window they'd given me. Had a remote starter installed after recommendations from a community FB page. Didn’t even know they offered this service at Tint World. They got me scheduled right away and the person I made the appointment with was very knowledgeable and listened to me. I got the remote starter best suited for my needs. Better quality product than what the car dealership offered for a lower price. They can incorporate the remote start with your current key fobs and the remote that comes with it is perfectly small (not another bulky remote on my key chain). I like the 2-way remote start that lets me know that indeed my car was started (no guessing). The day I had this service was a heavy snow and they offered to store my vehicle (indoors) if I wasn't able to pick up that day. They had it ready when they said they would (2-3 hours after drop off). My whole experience was great. Highly recommend.

I had a terrible tint job that was on my car removed and new tint put on. I also had an ozone treatment as the previous owner of my 06 mustang gt smoked. Tint world did an exceptional job and had everything done ahead of the time they estimated. This is also the first place I have taken my car where there were not scuff marks along the bottom of the doors from people getting in and out of the car, which shows their commitment to customer care and detail. I recently made an appointment with a different unnamed local Tint shop. The day of my appointment I arrived to find that the power was out with just a sign left on the window. No courtesy call or anything, and the shop was completely empty. Needless to say I was pretty upset after driving all the way to the shop without being informed that they were closed for the day! This is where Tint World comes in. I checked the area to see if there were any other Tint shops nearby. I drove to Tint World with the expectation that I would need to schedule an appointment and come back another day. I explained the situation and was told they could Tint my windows and start immediately! I don’t get many afternoons off, so Tint World really stepped up for me and saved me burning another afternoon off to get my windows tinted. The tint looks great! I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again. Staff was polite and professional. While waiting for my Tint to be installed I also learned that the shop does everything from remote starts to custom sound systems and lighting. I would recommend their services for all of your customization needs!

I recently had a remote start installed on my car. Price was better than competitors in the area. I had the 2-way basic model installed. Customer service was great. Jeremy answered all questions prior to the install and after. Shop is clean and new! Also, during the this time of Covid-19 everyone was masked up. On more thing I thought was nice, my steering wheel had a plastic protector on it while they worked. Never had seen this before, but was nice to see helps to limit spread of germs. I highly recommend this company!!

I did have a problem that cropped up but I stopped by and explained it. They got me in very quickly and resolved the issue completely. I'm very happy with the product and the service. Amazing work, 100% satisfied. I called early in the morning to see if they could fit me in for an interior cleaning of my car. My friend had gotten sick in it the previous weekend, it was BAD. There was vomit all over the passenger seat, door, and window. I was told to bring my car in right away and that they would find time to get it done that day. Along with the vomit, there was a significant amount of dog hair in the backseat from my German Shepard. THEY CLEANED EVERYTHING AND IT LOOKED BRAND NEW. They went above and beyond and even had to take the passenger door panel off to clean the mess that had gotten down there between the window and door. I will without a doubt return to this business and have already recommended them to others.
