We couldn't be happier with our new front door from Pella. It was great working with Joe Youngs from the Gunton Corp to select the right door. It is hard to envision how things will look once installed but he helped us to get exactly what we wanted. The installer Nick Shadwell did a great job of removing the old door and installing the new one, which only took about 3 hours. The installation happened on the day it was scheduled and everything was nicely cleaned up. I would definitely recommend working with Pella, it was a great experience overall.

Joe Youngs was out today along with service techs Adam and John to check on our new windows and do a little touch-up. Our new windows are fabulous! They look terrific, our older home is noticeably warmer and now much quieter. Joe’s taken great care of us since the very beginning and has been out several times throughout the process to make sure everything was perfect. Adam and John are meticulous craftsmen who do beautiful work and obviously take great pride in the work they do. My only regret is that we didn’t do this years ago. Unfortunately their price for replacing a single window is very high (around 2k for a single 27x52), they are likely more competitive if you're replacing your whole house as much of the cost was flat fees.

We had our Pella windows installed today by Tim Smith and his team of Kevin and Dustin. They did a GREAT job. They were punctual (also called ahead that they would be here is so many minutes). They were very professional and personable. They used drop cloths and did a thorough job of cleaning up. They made sure everything looked proper and did a walk through with us. We have had other Pella windows installed before (2007) and highly recommend them. The previous installers are no longer available We recommend Tim Smith for the installation.

Everyone knows about the quality of Pella products. What they don't usually know is they have the Sales and Service to match. We recently purchased a new Pella patio door and window. Our sales rep, John Bryant, did a great job answering all our questions and sorting through the available options in selecting our door and window. After signing the contract, the installation team (Brian and Pete) arrived as scheduled, handling every detail from removal and disposal of the old door, to installation of the new door and window, along with all the required trim work. Start to finish time for both door and window took only four hours, and both areas were as clean when they left as when they arrived. Can't say enough about how pleased we are with our new Pella products and the team involved!

He gave us an estimate as requested and explained the process but very quickly gave an honest recommendation to have the glass fixed rather than spending the extra amount to replace the entire window. Because our original windows are not Pella windows, their company isn't able to fix it but he kindly provided a recommendation for a company that could fix the glass. We have been slowly replacing our original windows with Pella windows over several years. We just met virtually with Brian Kelley last night to estimate the final 4 windows. We choose Pella windows because of their quality and choices. Brian walked us through the many options to choose from in a virtual - no-contact meeting. Once we decide to go for it - he will need to come to the house for final measurements but he will wear a mask and keep his distance. We were impressed with his knowledge of the products and helpful advice. We mostly like the in between the glass blinds which never gather dust or need cleaning, as well as rolling hidden screens. (We were disappointed to learn that you can no longer get the in between the glass blinds in double hung windows - so we had to swap out all our double hung windows for casement or awning style.) They will even custom match our interior stain - which is a HUGE benefit. Pella products are good looking, energy efficient, low maintenance, and have high quality materials and workmanship. I know about the quality because the first few windows I purchased, I took apart to stain and finish myself - so I was able to see the quality first hand and many details you wouldn't otherwise even know about. These qualities don't come cheap, which is why we have had to do the replacements over several years.

After showing and explaining the samples he brought he recommended the windows best for our home. We agreed because I had done my homework prior to the appointment. After Joe wrote up the quote he gave us time to discuss and decide if we wanted to purchase the window package or postpone it for the time being. There was no pressure. We agreed it was time and that the price was in line with the excellent Pella products. Joe also explained that the installers that would be coming to the home are well trained, courteous, and skilled at their craft. We then proceeded to sign the contract and scheduled the installation. This experience was most satisfying and rewarding because we are investing in our home. We recommend that you ask for Joe Youngs when you call for your new Pella Windows and Doors. Was hooked into a special in April for a certain amount off etc, committed and they had no dates available until July. Even though the advertising made it seem that we would have a new door pretty quickly. July comes and the door was installed. The install guys were great. Probably the best part of the experience. Well our door liner that seals the door had a small rip in the base of liner. The install guys said they could get it replaced, so no worries we thought. Finally our sales specialist comes by to see how the door is and if we like it. We mention the small liner tear in the surrounding door seal. She takes a picture and says they will get it fixed ASAP and they would send someone or call within the week. Well it’s November and they still haven’t called or reached out about fixing the door seal on our new patio door. The doors we got were quality doors, the sales experience was generally unpleasant as our sales specialist was pushy to make a sale and said we could get a door quickly, however as soon as we committed it was well we have no availability until months later to install the door, etc. 5 stars on the doors, install team 1 Star on the follow up of our ripped liner. Still a small rip currently on the door. And 1 Star for quickness or availability for installation

Timing is everything even in door purchases. We purchased our front door and storm door on December 17, 2019. We are finally done with the install and subsequent issue remediation as of July 27, 2020. We are very happy with the product itself. I was impressed that our sales consultant even showed up on installation day to check on how things were going. The install however had a few bumps. The installers didn't install the storm door correctly and unfortunately there was a scratch in the glass. It took awhile to get someone to come back to address the installation issue, COVID lockdown was obviously a huge wrinkle in everything this year. However, once I did get an appointment, they sent the supervisor of the installers who was FANTASTIC! He spent quite a bit of time resolving the issues with the install and it seems to be absolutely perfect. He said they educate the folks on how to install the product but not on the mechanics of how the door works which doesn't allow the installers to make the fine adjustments needed to fit each home. Our home is nearly 50 years old so understandably it has some uniqueness that would need to be accommodated for. Then there was a further delay with ordering the replacement glass and getting on the calendar for that install. We're good to go now and happy with the final outcome.

Our installers were Johnny Gorslene and Michael, and they did a great job with the install; from making sure that all pieces of the old door & window were removed and cleaned, to carefully installing every last piece of trim, they didn't miss a single detail. The project manager, Jill DeSimone, kept us informed of every step of the process, and called with a reminder for the install; she even tried to get us an earlier install time, but our schedule didn't allow it. Overall, I'm very happy with my Pella door and window set, and the entire installation process.

These guys know their stuff. I had Joe Y. come out to provide an estimate on an exterior door and storm doors. He was very comprehensive, professional, and gave some helpful suggestions on what doors would work best as opposed to just trying to upsell or hard sell. This makes me feel very comfortable about their product, their install experience, and knowledge in handling what would be a very odd project in my old house. I wouldn't hesitate to have them out to consult and provide an estimate on your project. It should be noted however I did not select Pella for my project. They were too expensive.

I was very hesitant about getting a quote from Pella. I felt as though I was going to get the same old bait and switch that comes from dealing with a lot of sale people. Much to my surprise that wasn’t the case at all this time. To be quite honest, I really had no intention of going with Pella (due to pricing and what we could afford) until their salesman Rob Abner arrived and we talked. He took me around my home to every window and we discussed options, structural issues and pricing. I don’t know if all Pella salespeople are this well versed but this guy really knew his stuff! Ha, after he left we keep calling him the Cliff Claven of windows and their installation! I felt a lot better when we talking and it was obvious that he has been in the business for a long time as an actual installer. These are the people I trust the most. He also was very apt at looking at the whole process from the consumers point of view. He was realistic about any money concerns we had and didn’t feel as though he was pushing or taking advantage of us at all. I rarely write reviews but when I say this guy was a game changer when it came to our decision I honestly mean it. Before he came here I felt I was 90% certain there was no way we could afford or go with Pella. Needless to say, this time I really felt this guy deserves a great review bc he gave outstanding customer service, which unfortunately rarely can be found these days. He was very polite, great with our kids and really went the extra step to help out a family in a tight budget. Companies like this live and die on their employees attitude and energy. I just hope the company recognizes that and treats their employees as well as he treated us. Thanks again Rob! He was very knowledgeable and configured a great sliding door package that included some build out but was less expensive than a custom sliding door setup. This is something that Lowe’s would have never have recommended as they always seem to choose smaller fitting standard size door. Joe was able to get all the paperwork completed and the door install scheduled all in the same visit. This was a great experience and we will be using Pella for our entry door project this fall.

We just had all of our windows replaced in our home, 13 windows, new front door and french doors replacing sliding doors. I am absolutely so happy with everything we had done and very happy that we choose Pella. Erin Flynn Wade worked with us very closely to make sure we got everything we needed, in fact she went above and beyond helping us out. I was very reluctant on the crank windows, because the ones I had were so hard to open. Well, I loved the Pella crank windows so much that I now have 3 on the main floor versus the one I had in the kitchen. They are so smooth and so easy to crank open I love them! My new front door is beautiful and my french doors have the blinds inside them and I no longer have to deal with those annoying vertical blinds. Our garage windows have frosted glass so no more blinds there either, it's so nice to have light come in thru the garage but yet no one can see in. The guys that installed our windows were very professional and did a great job! The one thing we noticed immediately after the windows were installed is how quiet it was in our house. We no longer hear the cars going up and down the road, if we do it's very faint. We live in a flight path for the airport and our old windows with the grids always rattled and drove me crazy and now nothing just quiet. The house is just sealed up so much better no cold drafts under the door anymore. I highly recommend Pella Windows & Doors & get in touch with Erin, she's wonderful and very attentive to what your needs are. Thank you Erin we are very happy with everything!!
