We bought windows from Amercian WeatherTech summer of 2016. After five years they still look beautiful and have held up wonderfully. One of the primary reasons we chose American WeatherTechs was the amazing warranty they offer. I can now verify how easy the warranty process was in resolving an issue. A faulty seal led to a cloudy build up and needed to be replaced. I spoke to Megan about the issue and she handled the process. She gave me what turned out to be a very accurate timeframe for total process resolution; which given COVID-19 lockdown was extremely well done on her part. Today, Lou came out and replaced two windows and rescreened a window. He explained the process before starting which was very professional. In addition he was quick, efficient, tidy, and super friendly. I definitely recommend American WeatherTechs for windows and commend both Megan and Lou for the great job they did. 100% satisfied.

The workmen from American WeatherTECHs, LLC, completed our replacement windows in a timely manner. They were fairly tidy in their work. We only had to vacuum up some small pieces of vinyl around the windows inside. Most of the work was done outside the house. One worker was inside & one was outside. The windows seem to be quite energy efficient on this snowy day. The one room with a window that leaked the most is now comfy warm on this cold day. I would only add that we opted for paneless windows and now I might have preferred panes between the glass. We had removed some of the indoor fake panes from our old windows and 5 years ago went without panes on the windows in an addition to our house so needed to match those. If you have an option, consider panes. This installation was done during the COVID November 2020 timeframe. The indoor worker had a mask but usually forgot to pull it up when he came to ask me a question or give me paperwork to sign. That would be my only recommendation for improvement. We have decided to completely redo the outside of our house- siding, gutters, everything. We had 3 companies come out to give estimates and we ended up going with American Weather Techs. They put our windows in 13 years ago and we’ve been totally satisfied. Our representative Louis Italiano was very professional, timely, and didn’t mind that we asked a thousand questions- which we did. He took the time to explain each step and was great at following up with questions. He said “I’m here for you” and it was so true. Can’t wait to get started!

We are so thrilled with our new windows. We had them installed in February, and as soon as they were in we felt the difference they made. We actually had to lower the thermostat! No more drafts. The windows and patio door are gorgeous and add so much to our home's appearance. The crew was friendly, efficient and understanding of the fact that we have exotic birds and that we'd need warning to move them from their room to keep them warm while work was in progress. We highly recommend this company for new windows!

American Weathertechs recently installed our roof. The Operations Manager who worked with us, Lou, was highly professional and knowledgeable. We felt comfortable with him from the beginning. During the process, the company identified storm damage to our roof and worked us through the process of negotiating with our homeowners insurance company. Lou was up on the roof with the insurance inspector. He kept us informed as to how the negotiations with insurance were progressing and explained everything clearly. I can't say enough about Lou's caring attitude and desire to be sure we understood the process and what we were purchasing. The crew who completed the installation was friendly and competent. They did an excellent job. The first day on our roof, they stayed late and worked very hard. I was so impressed that I bought them dinner. The next day they took me up on the roof to ensure I saw some wood on the side of the house that needed to be replaced. They also made sure I understood a problem they saw with our chimney. At the end of the process, Lou was with us again to make sure all was thoroughly completed. Overall, our experience with American Weathertechs was excellent. We would highly recommend them and will definitely consider this company for other jobs in the future.

The whole process was great. Our salesman Lou was great. He was very responsive to all of my calls and text and made multiple visits to walk us through the process numerous times. We had all windows and sliding doors replaced. The installation team was great. They talked us through the process and catered to our needs during the installation. We couldn’t be happier with our “new” house. Lou did a great job from the start helping us get the siding we wanted. He even came out a second time with color samples for us to make sure it was the color we wanted. Being first time homeowners we really had no clue about the whole process. Lou was honest and upfront with us about everything and we trusted him from the start. The crew did a great job on the installation. If there was ever an issue they would run us through everything. Update: over a year later we are still very happy with our windows. Recently one of the upper sashes was falling whenever we opened the window. I called the company and one of their technicians, Lou, was out to fix it for me within the hour. He was very pleasant and helpful and gave me some tips on how to open the windows for cleaning without popping them out of position (I had been doing it wrong). Love this company! Original review: I was dreading the process of having our old windows replaced. I thought it would be disruptive, messy and noisy. What a pleasant and easy experience it turned out to be! From the sales department to the owner to the actual crew who did the install, we were very impressed. The owner made sure to check on installation and customer satisfaction personally. The crew was so polite and thoughtful. They carefully cleaned up all materials at the end of each day and made sure to ask if they could leave a ladder or whatnot overnight. We can, without reservation, highly recommend this company and would happily use them again ourselves.

We hired American Weathertechs to replace our roof. We had gotten a few other quotes from other companies, and they were the most expensive. However, we decided to go with them because they have a 25 year warranty. All of the other companies had a shorter warranty. They had some extra perks that we could have if we signed the day of the quote. I didn’t like the pressure of that. I understood where they were coming from when they said it would save them money from having to commute back and forth, but I would rather have been told the deal before they came out. Having to decide on the spot or lose the perks didn’t make me happy. Besides that, the staff was very professional and could easily be reached. They have great costumer service and the install was done in a timely manner as expected. There was some confusion as to the payment. They weren’t clear about when we would pay them. They also didn’t communicate the fact that the gutters would be done on a different day. It took them a lot longer to schedule the gutters, whereas scheduling the roof was very quick. Overall we are happy with the company and product. They could improve by explaining the perks over the phone or ahead of time so customers don’t feel resentment from being pressured, and by having better communication with the process and timing of everything.

Our sales rep Lou is awesome. He took the time to walk us through all the details and scenarios so we knew what to expect. He came during installation and was available through out our process. Cam, the foreman was exceptional too. The team was early each day, we got daily updates and we could tell he cared about our project and knew all the ins and out. We had an incident with our outside water. It was handled quickly, professionally and thoroughly. They just kept rolling and we appreciate it. We noticed an area of our roof that didn't look the best so we got a hold of Lou. With the roof being almost 30 years old it was time for a new one. Lou did a great job going over all of our options and explained all of the warranties so we could pick the best option for us. He said he wanted to get it done as quick as possible so we didn't get a leak and cause more problems. 5 days later we got a call saying they could do it the next day! This is the second project they have done for us within the last month and I know they will be doing future projects for us. We couldn't be more happy with the work they have done on our house!

So far great experience. Initial consultation was timely and very low pressure. They did a great job of explaining their products, taking detailed measurements and walking us through all of our options. Pricing was great, especially when comparing specs and other details to other competitors. Compared to another well known heavily advertised company with a 2 for 1 deal; American WeatherTECH's prices were far better; for exactly the same window. The installation experience was great as well. The crew was quick but detailed, did not hesitate to answer questions or walk me through what they were doing and how they were doing it. They cleaned up well after their work. They were very efficient of their time as well as considerate of our property. Right after the install and even before the final capping was completed the second day, I noticed the temperature difference on our second floor was nearly the same as our first floor. So far, we could not be happier with our experience.

This has been a great company to work with. We had our windows looked at back in July. The company was very flexible with scheduling the install on a day that I would be home and available. The windows were installed in 1 day (21 total windows) and everyone that showed up was courteous and professional. We had a few items that we needed reviewed and re-worked (ripped screen). Our sales rep, Lou, came out to do a post-installation walk through and was adamant they would get it fixed and make things right. We have been very pleased with the company and certainly feel they stand by their word!

Great service! I was having my siding replaced through my insurance company. The sales manager that came out initially answered all my questions and was very helpful through the process. The crew installing the siding was ready to start my house sooner than planned. They were friendly and made sure to clean up each evening. Let's look at the big picture: American Weathertechs did an excellent job installing beautiful new vinyl siding on my house in the middle of the most snowy February in recent memory in the middle of a pandemic and for a VERY reasonable price. Everything that follows in this review are just the details. Starting with Lou, our salesperson, we knew we were going to be well taken care of. In a short amount of time he took measurements, showed us color samples and siding styles, discuss pricing and promotions, go over the lifetime warranty, take our deposit and send us our detailed contract. We had never been happier to spend thousands of dollars. We came to our first hurdle about two months later, which was the initial agreed-upon time to begin work on our house. We found out that the production facility had run out of our color and, because of COVID, wouldn't begin production until January. I really can't hold American Weathertechs responsible for this, after all, in a year when it was hard to find yeast, bacon, and toilet paper, I can understand having trouble keeping up on siding orders. The good news is that in early February I got the call that our house was scheduled for the next week. I was nervous because a snow storm, the same one that crippled Texas, was in the forecast. Sure enough, we got several inches of snow and freezing rain and I was CONVINCED there was NO WAY they could do the siding under these conditions. Working on the only days that week when it wasn't actively snowing, a crew of about four guys did all of my siding in TWO DAYS! The only thing that matched the quality of their work was their cheerful attitude, especially considering the below-freezing conditions they were working in. They were flexible and responsive with me, which was essential as one side of my house required them going into my neighbors yard to access so I had them wait until I had my neighbors permission. This brings me to my only slight complaint. They left more of a mess than I would have liked and what was initially described to me. That having been said, when I pointed this out to Lou, he had them back out in a couple of days to do a more thorough clean-up. Oh, AND, I received a hotel package as on of my promotional offers. I'm taking the family to Disney later this year! Overall a 5-star experience in spite of some really difficult conditions.

We have had American WeatherTechs fully replace windows at two houses now. The windows are fantastic both for insulation and noise reduction. The installers are efficient and usually complete the job in fewer days than planned. We will continue to use them as our go to window replacement company for any future homes.

I could not be any happier with this company. From the knock on my door til the cleanup, it was a good experience. Bo took his time to walk me thru the entire process giving us all features and options for the windows. The installers were right on time and had 11 windows installed by 3:00pm. They cleaned up so well you would have never known they were there except for the new windows. I can’t wait to open them and let the fresh air in. The overall experience was very good, they worked with my insurance to get everything included to make the siding replacement completed without issues. They notified me when they had all the materials, set an install date and were on site the day materials were delivered and completed all the work by end of the next day. Review, Part 1 (posted October 2020): I originally called American WeatherTECHS to get a quote on siding, but I also figured I'd have them look at the roof. When Lou got here he knew right away that the roof was actually the priority. He helped get things moving with my insurance company (there was clear wind / storm damage), and he was incredibly helpful in guiding me through both the insurance process and the roofing selection process. Once that was done, it was just a matter of waiting until the materials came in, and when they did, we got the job on the schedule. The crew putting the roof on was great, sticking around until a bit after dark to get the job done. The new roof has now been on for about a month or so, and it's fantastic; it looks great and there are no workmanship issues that I can see. Overall, I'm very happy with American WeatherTECHS. They did a top-notch job from start to finish. Review, Part 2 (added 11/6/2020): It doesn't appear that I can do a second review of American Weather TECHs, so I'm just adding to the first review. Since having the roof done by them, we have also had them replace three windows as well as all of the siding on our house. As with before, they did a fantastic job. Lou once again guided us through the process and kept in contact with us to keep us up to date re timing. The two teams that installed the windows and siding were professional and efficient, and the siding team even worked all day on a Saturday to get the job done quickly. The new siding really makes our house look completely different, and we simply couldn't be more pleased.

The guys showed up on time. I have a large dog that I was worried about and the guys changed the windows as I requested so I could keep the dogs' stress level down. They cleaned up after themselves as they went and were polite the whole time they were in my house. The windows were clean and looked great when they left. I will admit that I was trouble at first that this is clearly a regional office for a franchise that uses independent contractors, but the installer they sent was great to work with. The communication on when they were coming was touch and go as the windows were built, but once I had a date the install team came out and were done with the windows before I even had payment ready for them. Windows seem to be great quality and the install guys were great as mentioned. Would definitely recommend them. Especially if you are in Columbus, Oh and working with Dustin and team

We had a great experience with American WeatherTECHs from the sales process through installation. Our sales team was knowledgeable, patient and true to their word. We had a few delays due to weather; however, Lou provided updates about when we could expect the installers and the sequence of the job. The installers where knowledgeable, kind and respectful. They worked hard and did a high quality job. We're loyal to small, locally-owned companies so we really liked the fact that American WeatherTECH is based in Ohio and that the windows and siding are also made in Ohio. If I were to summate my experience with and reason why I went with American WeatherTechs, it's "transparency." Of the more than half a dozen other companies we spoke with and got quotes from, Lou was professional and the only person who proactively offered/provided a copy of the warranty and, when asked, would provide references of their previous siding work. What's more, the two crews that did the installs (siding and gutters) were very professional and did a great job.

Initial sales consultation was well done by Bo and a far more comfortable experience than the high pressure tactics employed by some of the other BOGO window providers in town. Had some manufacturing defects that were likely related to COVID-19. The operations manager Lou came out and verified everything to ensure proper replacements were ordered. The windows appear to be better build quality than some of the other BOGO windows we looked at.

Lou showed up dressed professionally and extremely courteous. There were two windows that needed a little bit of work and the first one was completed within five minutes, it was out of its shoe. The second window had a vent lock that wouldn’t stay in the window. Lou didn’t have the color on hand that was needed, I have the cherry finish. He left with the understanding that the part would be ordered but I got a call from him about five minutes later saying that the office had two in my color and he could be back to insert the vent lock for me. He actually put a new lock on each side and left the old one with me in case I needed anywhere. This whole process from when he first rang my doorbell and he left the final time was less than 45 minutes. WOW!

Brock was very informative and helpful. Lou did not work out, wanted to make changes to agreement to make things easier, told us to expect damage to landscape, and askes us to remove fixtures so less damage may occur. Corner posts only come in 10' sections and we needed a 12' other small incidentals will be fixed to customer satisfaction in 1 to 2 weeks. 1st crew that came out had much bigger trailer, not what we were told to expect, would not fit properly in drive, and crew left the site without saying anything to owners. Positives: good quality materials, even color throughout, aesthetics are close to computer rendition, and second crew worked well with owners. Positives outweighed the negatives to make the overall rating as excellent.

The Darwin Crew installed our windows they were very professional, arrived at the time promised, did everything possible to keep our house warm while installing our windows. They were very knowledgeable on installing our windows, kept us informed on their progress, took extra care on making sure the frame around a window in the front of our house looked amazing.
