He started to go through champion window options that were economical for each window and showed us what they looked like. The demonstration to see how energy efficient the windows are was great and really made us understand how a window can effect our power bill. He also showed us the anatomy of the window. They may not be the cheapest but they have the best quality.

Met with Scott today and he was very thorough. He gave suggestions on what windows would be good for functionality, esthetics and safety which not many folks would pay much attention to. We ran into a design limitation and he worked with us on giving us options and workarounds. The quality of the window is pretty nice. I used to install windows roughly 20 years ago and the windows we installed were good quality but the construction and details are pretty nice.. foam insulation inside of the frame is something I haven’t seen and most companies rely on multiple chambers for some insulating factor. So far our experience has been great. Will update later after installation.

Courtney Golder came to our house at our request to review options for replacing a leaking window in our sun room. She arrived on time, was pleasant, polite, and knowledgeable. She was neatly dressed in a professional manner. She educated us on the workmanship and quality that goes in to manufacturing Champion Windows. Using a heat lamp, she demonstrated sections of Champion windows verses competitors in terms of how Champion locks out heat, UV, and infrared light along with visibility (or brightness of the light that penetrates the windows). To our surprise the actual numbers attained by Champion Windows were far superior to the competitors in all categories. We were then convinced that Champion windows were our choice. She reviewed in detail various cost savings (since we had the special coupon). She is a very detailed oriented person and my wife, a chemist and I (a physician) liked how she presented the options and costs to us. We chose to replace all the windows in our sun room since all current windows are wooden and we already had to replace several because of leaks. She showed us color options that would get as close a possible to what we already had (we have a homeowners association that has to approve new windows to keep every condo looking the same on the outside). After about 2.5 hours (she was not rushed and gave us time to think and answered all our questions) we believe she is the best sales person we have ever seen. We believe she deserves a reward just for this one presentation! We really enjoyed being with her.

Sales presentation was interesting and informative. Did a lot of research after, and determined that Champion windows are at least as good as any, and their warranty cannot be beat. No worries for as long as you own your home and beyond. Most do not cover "normal wear and tear", glass breakage, accidents, and fading. What good is a warranty that only covers manufacturers defects, and includes a lot of exclusions on top of that. With Champion you never have to worry, everything is covered.

I really love my new windows, the service, from sales to installation, is great. However, the only thing I disliked is the price. Do your research, window purchase seems to be either value based or price based decision. Either you value good service at a pretty steep price, or you sacrifice service and maybe warranty for cheaper pricing. In my research, I couldn't find a middle ground in South Carolina. I was either price or value conscious but couldn't find one company which offered both. Needless to say, overall, Champion is a great company with high prices.
