We've used Illinois Energy Windows and Siding for two door installations. Our front door was installed 4 years ago and still looks amazing and retains temperature. Now, we just had them install a sliding glass door and the whole experience was great, again. They reached out after our purchase to verify the information so it was correct before manufacturing, the installation crew showed up early to get it complete, it looks amazing, and the cost was reasonable. We will definitely use them again for our next project.

I am very pleased with the service that I received from Illinois Energy. While the cost was not the lowest the quality of materials as well as the lifetime warranty, which is transferable, were major factors that I took into consideration when deciding to go with them. I was quoted that it would take 10-20 weeks for the door to arrive and they were ready to install the door right at 10 weeks. They worked with the city to get all the permits needed and provided me all the information so that I could get the approval through my HOA. They were very professional and worked with my schedule to find the best time to get the door installed. The team that came to install my door were very respectful and performed quality work. The took the time to make sure that everything was correct and then cleaned up all the debris that was left from the removal of the old door and the installation of the new door. The door itself is very nice and slides with the greatest of ease.

Illinois Energy Windows and Siding just installed an 8-foot sliding door in our family room. They replaced an original door to our 40+ year old house. Illinois Energy says they have a high level of customer satisfaction, and they delivered on it, for our project! We had an initial home sales call with James, who arrived on time. He is very professional, experienced and projected his respect for the company and its products/services. Also, provided many specifics on how Illinois Energy compares with competitors. We then visited their impressive showroom in Lisle to see and test the actual sliding doors, and see the designs with James. General Manager Nate called, after we signed a contract for the install and thanked us for doing so (which is uncommon, these days).The company installed it two weeks ahead of time. Wesley, an installer and his helper arrived exactly on time to expertly install the slider and beautiful trim, within the 4 hour estimate. They cleaned up thoroughly. They did a beautiful job; the new slider window adds so much to the look of the family room and the view outside to our patio. Also notable is that Illinois Energy offers an important true 100% Lifetime parts and labor warranty, fully transferable for the life of the home.

I am delighted to share my experience I had with Illinois Energy Window & Sliding, Inc. We had all of our home's windows replaced in less than 5 hours. The windows look phenomenal. All promises given before the sale were realized: --Window quality is impressive--I watched the installers test each window extensively to ensure ease of use --When completed, there was no evidence any work was done--cleanup was complete and all debri removed. The cost was difficult to swallow but looking at the completed job, I feel it was worth it.

My doors look like something out of HGTV. Beautiful Black French Doors add an amazing curb appeal and aesthetic. Upgraded from a single aluminum door with two sidelights, and was also cold every winter. Now, these puppies are starting to pay themselves back with my energy cost savings (no pun intended). The sales person was a nice young man who was doing his best to sell the company product. Once the installation commenced, i was very pleased with 3 of the 4 windows that was installed. The 4th one, they had to make a hole to install a window. This was in the shower above my tile which was discussed. There was another gentlemen that came by to take more measurements to ensure that it was measured correctly. When they came to stall the window, it was bulkier then i expected and they have to break some of my tiles to make the window fit. Over all i say it was a good job but just know that if a window has to be made in an area that doesn't have one already, it will be bulky. They did leave of of their trash behind but i did let their quality person that called about my experience know.

We had a great experience using Illinois Energy for our sliding glass back door. The installers came on a very cold day and worked quickly to install the new door. As soon as the door was up, we could no longer feel the cold air coming through the door like our old one. By the time we were done admiring it, the crew had everything cleaned up and framed off. The crew did a wonderful job. Starting with James who came to my home to help me pick out exactly what I needed to fit my 100 year old home. Next step was to get measurements and the gentleman who measured was very precise. The installation crew were highly skilled and everything fit perfectly. After the installation was complete the crew showed me all the features of the windows and how they worked. The next day I received a call from customer service checking if I was happy with my windows. Great service from start to finish. The windows are top quality and very energy efficient. We were very pleased with Illinois Energy! I liked at we saved 10% by putting a 50% downpayment when we signed the contract. The salesperson was very good. We heard from the company a week before they came . 3 men came to do the work and they worked from 8am to 6pm. Very professional! They cleaned up everything. They were careful around my flowers. We mentioned to the team leader Max that there was a lot of rotten wood under the sliding glass door and around one of the windows. He took care of all the rotten wood by removing it and replacing with new wood. After the windows were in he showed us how to operate them for indoor cleaning. Great work Max and his crew! We began a project to replace our home's windows in a phased approach starting in 2016. Each of the four experiences was as pleasant as the first. IE offered a one-year same as cash to offset the significant expense all at once. From sales to installation to customer support, the Illinois Energy (IE) team that worked with us was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. IE stands by its products and installation; any issues, IE will address them straightaway with a follow-up appointment. Best yet, the windows come with a transferable lifetime warranty. No other window company offers that good of a warranty. Now for the product itself; I can not say enough about the quality of Illinois Energy's windows. They are custom constructed by the Amish. The windows are tinted, filtering out the damaging effect of the sun to minimize fading. The windows are sturdy, easy to clean, and aesthetically complement my home's interior and exterior.

Overall the experience was fair, but I believe it could have been outstanding if the installer would of warned us that he was cutting. There were children present and the air was filling with wood debris. The installer didn’t quite entirely close off his work space.

Illinois Energy installed a new front door on our home. We found their service to be easy and professional. I especially appreciated Derek's patience while my wife and I were deciding the details of our new door. We went in without much of an idea thus changed our minds a couple times. The install date came ahead of schedule and was completed faster than anticipated. My only "complaint" would be that their catalog of options was not completely updated with the current selection and a bit hard to understand. Additionally, their show room didn't help much with our decision. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this company!

A Transformed House & Garage Exterior by Lloyd & Susan M Before we hired Illinois Energy to replace the siding and door & window trim on our house and garage we had always hired individuals or companies to complete work projects for us who were recommended by someone we knew. They transformed our house & garage from white 8” siding with shutters to an amazing-looking 6” blue siding with expertly crafted and installed white trim. My experience with Illinois Energy Windows & Siding was AMAZING from start to finish! The sales experience was smooth and simple with no pressure whatsoever to buy. While the wait for the product itself was lengthy (due to COVID), it was well worth it! The install was very quick and smooth...the guys even completely cleaned up after themselves. My installed garden window is absolutely beautiful!!! My only disappointment was that the installers did not wear masks during the install. I didn't push the issue, but just made sure to keep my distance and disinfect everything after.

My initial meeting to full installation took about 2 months - exactly as promised. On the day of install (a Saturday, so I didn't have to take a day off of work) Rob and Paul arrived on time, worked steadily and competently to remove my storm door and the existing front door/sidelight window. In both instances, we were very happy with the service every step of the way. The initial appointment was very informative and very straight-forward. The prices offered were very competitive with other quotes we received, but the quality of the Illinois Energy windows (and the lifetime warranty) helped finalize our decision. The construction crews for both jobs were very helpful and efficient. I work remotely from home and they had no issue working with my schedule to avoid interrupting important meetings. They were able to work very independently (which allowed me to continue my work) and made sure to ask questions when necessary for confirmation of window directionality, as well as asking for permission to move certain items to ensure they were not in the way. They were both very professional in their interactions with myself and my wife and were very pleasant throughout the process. The second construction crew did an amazingly efficient job, as they were able to complete nearly 30 windows in a days time (previously quoted at 3 days). We had 5 windows and a sliding glass door installed and we couldn't be happier! I keep saying "we have the Cadillac of windows" and they defiantly are with their quality. The windows frame my backyard perfectly! They were fairly large so we were nervous but they are stunning and you can feel zero heat transfer inside! They are trimmed out beautifully too! They'll be so easy to clean with the folding-in function and the child lock is very helpful with my 7 month old who is messing with everything. The sliding glass door I cannot get enough of; CROWNING GLORY! I can move the door with my pinky with ease. It has a kick lock which is too strong for my son to activate but easy for me. Before I had a wood kick plate outside which was rotting away but now we have a beautifully cased door with a vinyl or waterproof material that will last the lifetime of the doors. The installation process went so smoothly. Team of 3 men and they rocked out those windows like pros! They even took their shoes off EVERY SINGLE TIME they can in and out of the house. They laid down rugs to protect my floor and cleaned the windows and back area up when they were done. You couldn't even tell we have anyone working in our front lawn; everything was cleaned up so well. They even reinstalled my blind hardware before leaving which saved my husband a ton of time! They were polite and very good about wearing masks and keeping social distance. We couldn't have had a better team and I hope we have them again when we finish the other house windows! Payment options were great too; the price for windows was more expensive then competitors but I can DEFIANTLY tell the difference in quality of product and customer service. Their finance option was even cheaper than my Credit Union! The warranty is also better with IL Energy than the main brands we've seen on TV. The windows are covered 100% EVEN WHEN WE MOVE OUT the warranty is transferable to the new owner! #Lifetime of the house.. who else does that; NO ONE! Window parts & pieces, installation, labor, seal warranty, unlimited glass replacement all 100% covered! The installer also took the time to explain what they did and why they did it which was great because I don't really understand how the window and siding fits into the house. I also needed some extra help with product specifications for my homeowners association. After I hung up, I thought about what just happened. I called Jane back and cancelled my appointment. Perhaps you might think I didn't give them a chance. I have also read some of the other comments posted which also support my position. On the other hand, I have read some very positive comments from customers who were highly satisfied. I wonder if any of those comments are from single women? There are a lot of companies that install doors. I would suggest to use a reputable company that treats you well and one that you feel you can trust. In my opinion, the person i spoke to was completely unprofessional and I decided I didn't need to do business with Illinois Energy. To be fair I gave 3 stars even though I would have preferred to give only 1 star.

It looks like real wood. They are beautiful! The installers were very professional. I would highly recommend this company. If you are looking for the highest quality windows on the market, they exist only at Illinois Energy. Why? Those college kids that advertise for the business cut out excessive amounts of money wasted on radio, mass advertising etc. and allows the brilliant leadership here to reinvest that money back into the quality of the windows themselves. Just to give you an idea, there made mainly by the Amish, the hardest working and most reliable quality you can find. How is it so? Pick up a window from their showroom, you'll feel the reliable hardware and material inside or just touch the windows. You may also notice the windows here shine like diamonds. They don't cut corners here on quality, and you're guaranteed a warranty. You get what you pay for. If you think Pella is good enough, think again, that's from there 70's- 80's windows reputation, that quality has left the market, and the newer windows fracture pretty easily, leaving you paying twice the price for needing a replacement, since there warranty expires way too quickly. The highest quality now exists with the Worthington Windows at Illinois Energy.
