We contracted Pace to replace a small flat window with a bay window, a few double hungs, a storm door and a bunch of extra aluminum wraps on other windows wood trim. Everything from sale to installation was exceptional! They have reasonable wait time compared to everyone else around here and their quality, price and warranty were superior to all the major competitors in Rochester. Installers were friendly and clean. I highly recommend Pace for your window and door project.

Start to finish, It was a great experience using Pace to replace the windows on our house. He was not pushy at all, and let the product, warranty, and pricing options speak for themselves. Patrick and his fellow installer rebuilt our framing and installed our windows very methodically and efficiently, with expert skill. Top of the line product, leading real lifetime warranty, and knowledgeable employees make us very happy with our purchase. While they're not your cheapest option, they certainly are not the most expensive. But for everything you get, they are undoubtedly the best value in the long run. I would recommend them to anyone.

Over 20yrs ago I replaced the downstairs windows with Pace cause the previous owner replaced the upstairs. Have been 100% happy with them and they still look brand new! So when the upstairs windows needed to be replaced (that didn't even make it 10yrs before the gas leaked out between the glass panes) I knew to turn to pace since I was so happy with the other windows they did. I bought a house knowing that the windows needed to be replaced. 1200 SF 10 windows. The first quote a got required me to sit through a 90 minute in home presentation and came to $23,000ish. Pace's salesperson told me when he showed up that it could be a 10 minute presentation or 90, whatever fit my schedule. Their price came in under half of the first. The installation people told me they would be there between 8 am and 9 am to get started, they were here at 8 am on the dot. I asked him how long it would take, he said noon, they left at 11:50. They even cut and added a trim piece to a window that had a gap from the previous owner removing tile. Add to the great experience that they are local. They operator out of a building 10 miles from my house. I was glad to shop local, and have piece of mind knowing where to go if I do have problems.

Pace replaced our failing wood sliding patio door with a new vinyl one. It looks and works great! The installers were awesome and took the time to make a minor repair addressing an existing issue with our rough opening before installing the new door. They were also able to reuse our original interior trim, removing and reinstalling it without any damage. While we hope to never have to use the warranty we appreciate knowing we only have one call to make if we ever have any issues.

I'm celebrating my 1 year anniversary having 4 pace windows in my house. It all started with my neighbor who did all the research. They got all their windows and a door replaced by pace. Pace can be more expensive but you get what you pay for. The most important value I needed was assurance that if something happened to the window I was taken care of by pace anytime of the day and any day of the week. That gave me peace of mind. I asked many types of questions of my salesperson Andy Gray who was wonderful.. I look for consistency, reliability, and answers to complaints. The reason pace wants all homeowners home at the time the salesperson comes is that pace wants to lesson issues. Therefore, 2 homeowners might separately have different expectations of the details of a window or door. It's best to strive for less issues at the time of install. Pace cares and this is 1 way they show it by wanting both homeowners to be involved. Pace windows were installed successfully and I instantly could tell the quality all around compared to my cheap low grade windows. I did have to get full screens because I have box elder bugs. The screens are nice and tight to seal out the very flat bugs from getting in. I look forward in switching out all my windows and doors through pace. They are my contractor any time of the day or day of the week. They provide an American made product and the company is local. Something we need more of these days. I am loyal to pace and thank you for your loyalty.

It's been about a month since my windows were installed and I still smile every time I pull in my driveway. Working with Pace was a great experience. We would like to highly recommend PACE Windows and Doors based on our recent experience: We decided to replaced our Front door & Storm door by selecting a style more in keeping with current design standards: new locks, handles, window features, better construction and energy efficiency. The March 2022 Rochester Home Show seemed like the perfect place to begin our research. We talked with each of the vendors present - Brad & Zack of PACE were very personable and set up a Sales appointment for the following week. Andy Gray, Manufacturers Rep. arrived as scheduled. He provided a complete and thorough presentation including competitor comparisons so we could make an educated choice. With PACE we were able to mix & match our style preferences. PACE called to set-up an appointment for Dan, to come and confirm the final measurements. He was both pleasant and efficient. He reconfirmed the entire order and advised us of the anticipated installation date. Pat was our Installation Tech and he was wonderful! He uses a specific set-up and tear-down routine for removal and installation. He works with a “clean-as-you-go” method. He has years of experience and was very pleasant. His actions and attitude were professional and re-confirmed that we made the best decision in choosing PACE Windows and Doors. Before Pat left, he reviewed the entire job with us. He explained how everything worked: 1) Storm door - changing from screen to glass. 2) Adjustable settings for the closing mechanism and how the glass or screen makes a difference in the vacuum seal. 3) Operation of the Micro-blinds - open, close, up & down. 4) Operation of the new locks and deadbolt. Another member of our family ordered new windows from Pace. They were so impressed by their experience that they told us about it. We needed the French door from our walk-out basement replaced because it was not installed correctly and was letting pests get into our home. The pace representative was helpful, professional, and friendly. He helped make the process simple and the bid Pace offered was significantly lower than the other vendors while offering doors that appeared to be made better, using higher grade materials. We had Pace come out back in 2014 to put in 12 windows and our front door. They were so friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. We have had Pace Service come out for a screen that ripped and also a small draft. They came out very quickly and with no charge!! When asked why we wanted new windows I told him these vinyl we have are drafty and very hard to open. I told Larry I'm not a fan of vinyl windows. He said he would change my mind. I was impressed with Pace window construction he demonstrated. The Pace warranty was the icing on the cake. We contracted with Pace the same day Larry came out.

We needed to replace some of the windows in our older home. After having a few companies come give us quotes Andy from Pace came out and gave us the lowest price we had seen with high quality windows. To the employee who set up the appointment for us to zach who came out to our home to show us the pace window product. By the way he was very professional and showed up on time. Also while we were discussing the project to be done Michael the co-owner also talked to us. Everybody from pace window treated us in a professional manner. It's nice having a company that treats you like family. The windows are top notch. We cant wait to have them installed. I will also be posting after the installation. I LOVE my windows BUT I swear this company does NOT like women. The man of the house comes first. 🙄 Contractor wouldn’t look at me and when an installer rang my bell they asked if my husband was home. I said yes but he’s not coming to talk to you and asked if I could help him. Ladies make sure your name is on the contract FIRST! This female paid for the windows yet every single referral we gave the check was written to my husband. Not female friendly at all but I am happy with my windows so far.

Pace is a great company. When I first moved into my house about ten years ago we had them replace some windows. They are very nice windows. A few months ago we had them install a large bay window in the front of our house to replace an old flat window that used to be there. The quality of the windows has gotten even better! They're just really nice windows, right down to the lock on them. I never thought I could be so happy about a window. The office was great in responding to me, due to the pandemic the install took a bit, but it was well worth the wait. The people that came over to do the install were professionals. I was really impressed at the skill these guys had and how knowledgeable they were about the install and all the different things that had to be done. And, to top it off, all of their windows come with a lifetime warranty that is transferable to a new owner. We're already planning on replacing another window! Thanks Pace!

My wife and I met with Andy, from Pace after meeting with another large window installer. Not only was Pace's price significantly lower, but their product just a good, their warranty was far superior, they are a local company, and their salesman (Andy) is an honest, good-hearted (non-smarmy) dude. We decided to do 14 casement windows, a double door, and 2 sliding glass doors, all scheduled for later this fall. Call me crazy but I am actually excited to get these windows and doors installed. The previous owner of the house had Pace Windows installed 10 years ago, and they are excellent quality and in very good condition. All my questions were answered and product demonstrations were very helpful in making my decision. Larry worked with me on different payment options and was very detailed and specific. New interior and storm door replaced. Solid, well-made doors, which you can tell when opening and closing them. Already keeping room cooler even though it has more glass. Installer did excellent job, cleaned up afterwards, everything working well. Almost as side note, this was the first time I had contractor at my house and did not hear him swear once. These are not the least expensive doors, but I have Pace windows that were installed 10 years ago and they are still in excellent condition. It's cheaper to not have to replace these big-ticket items more than once.

We placed an order and on June 14, 2021 the installation of 52 windows and 1 sliding door began. Pat and Tom did a great job on the installation. I cannot say enough about these two guys! They are two of the hardest working guys I've ever seen. The door and windows are beautiful! They do meticulous work and it shows. They were here 6 days and when they left you would never know they were here. Everything was cleaned up daily, never a mess left behind. The nicest guys you'll every meet. Their work is exceptional. Larry provided a demonstration of the amount of heat that transfers through each type of glass from other companies, and then the patented glass from Pace. I was blown away by the difference. 87 degrees of difference of heat the can travel through the glass between one of the most commonly offered products compared to Pace. This will continue to save my family money for the long term. There was no question for me on who to choose.

While other companies we requested quotes from showed up late, only spent 15 minutes with us, came without PPE, or ghosted us entirely, Andy came as scheduled, prepared, and spent extra time with us answering every question and showing us every option. We decided to go with them because they could protect the wood finish in our home, only changing the windows and matching our homes classic design. We just had our final measurement and their representative was professional and efficient. Updated 11/16/2020 The job just finished and I wanted to update this review based on that experience. Our job was delayed because of material and shipping constraints due to the pandemic. Overall, our experience with Pace has been really good, but there are a couple points I hope they can improve on. First, the communication about why our project was delayed and when our new installation date could be expected was less than stellar. Our original contracted timeframe came and went without a call and I had to call multiple times to get an update. Every time I called, the people I spoke to were friendly and invested in my situation, but more than once I was told I would get a call back and never did. It turned out that 1 of the 6 windows we ordered was the cause of the hold up, and I will say that the company did everything they could to make up for the delay and the miscommunication. And today, the people who installed the windows were talented, efficient, and friendly. They explained everything and took very good care of our house. The windows look great! Unfortunately, the problem window strikes again, as it wasn't the design we ordered. The installers were very understanding and we both took down notes to inform the company of the mixup. I was told that they would absolutely honor our original contract and fix/replace the window with the proper design. I have every faith that this will happen. Overall, our experience with Pace has been great. Despite the window mixup and the delays, I would still recommend them to friends and family and will definitely be using them in the future for other windows in the house. I changed the review to 4 stars to reflect the problem window, but am looking forward to changing it back to 5 stars once the issue is resolved. Thanks!

Something I didn't think was possible in my budget. I am so excited to get my new windows in my home in 6-8 weeks, and you can be sure I will update this review at that time with how the install and outcome are! Update: Have had my windows for a year now. My house looks so much more expensive and put together. I will now share some of my concerns as a purchaser though, so others make sure they know what they are getting. First- it was made very clear that they do their own install and don’t outsource. Not true. The two guys who came to install my windows were NOT Pace employees. Sales lied. Also concerned that the window I believe I bought and was demod to me might not even be the window they put in, but that’s speculation from other experiences I’ve heard of. Just be careful here and do your research.

Pace removed old and rotted window frames around my porch on our lake property. These 10 windows were made with screen panels and seasonally installed plastic "windows." The interior and exterior sills, trim, and framing were each full of dry rot. The porch door and frame were also in bad condition. After a recommendation from a friend and a Pace customer, I had Pace install replacement casement windows and a sliding door unit. The installation was done in my absence from my home. The quality of the Pace product is completely outstanding; with operation, fit, and finish far beyond my expectations. All the old sills and framing were replaced at no extra cost, including the removal of old window flower boxes. The workmanship done in my absence is by far the best I have experienced in many years. The windows fit and look like they were built originally into the house. Thank you Pace!!

New homeowner with pace windows already installed. Needed a broken front window replaced. Was told it was covered under warranty and will replace for free. Great! First replacement order was wrong. That's fine, it happens. Over the next 3 months of back and forth, we were told the new window was in but needed to be inspected, or it was on the next truck but hadn't been delivered yet, or it's Labor day week so no deliveries from the distributor. Pace claims they no longer work with this distributor. Fine. But that doesn't explain the unprofessional communication (was it delivered or was it not?). Just now their technician replaced the window and destroyed a large swathe of my garden. When brought to his attention he literally said "yeah, well". No apology, no professionalism. The window is fixed but we're sure as hell not working with Pace again. ***Edit*** Management contacted me and we discussed the communication issues that troubled this transaction. The candor of their call was professional and courteous. They offered to rectify the situation involving our garden which I denied. Feedback is important and Pace was receptive throughout our conversation.

The amount of detail the representative Andy showed us, everything from redesigning the look to choosing a more affordable solution to our problem. We’ve had comfort windows and Rochester colonial out and didn’t like that they both had several different models to chose from (better quality and warranty for folks with a lot of money and lower quality and warranty for everyone else). Be aware regardless of who you use that window replacement takes months from estimate through decision to measurement to production to scheduling to installation if made specifically for your home. I recommend you get several estimates and schedule Pace as last for comparison. Everyone at each step has been customer service oriented. Biggest and warmest shout out to Chris who arrived on time and installed all even with snow falling - very organized, efficient, courteous, explained things well, and professional in his work. Windows look great and already can tell difference with thermal protection from cold. It will be nice to tip them inside to clean instead of climbing on a ladder!
