I had a window pane knocked out of my front door by a duck flying into it! So obviously, I needed to get it repaired right away. Called a local shop which been here for 70 years but he couldn’t even come out to assess for two weeks! My home insurance, Allstate, recommended Glass Doctor and I am grateful. The woman who answered assured me they could get here in 24 hours or so. Very professional and understanding. By the next morning, their repairman was here, replaced the glass and cleaned everything up. Total cost $212 installed. I was very pleased and grateful. The worker was kind, thorough and efficient. Kudos all around!

Highly recommend Glass Doctor of Southwest Idaho! Tara is super helpful, responsive and professional. Dan came out to measure our slider for an in-the-glass pet door from another company. He went above and beyond, researching the company website to provide accurate order information. He returned to install the door and everything came out perfectly! Dan was prompt and thorough, did an excellent job and cleaned up everything when finished. We couldn’t be more pleased!

They did a great job, installer explained the whole process. Satellite told me a month to get windshield and that I would have to go to their shop fore installation. Sure it would have been cheaper through Safelite but Glass Doctor told 9 days and they would come to my house for installation. They gave warranty with unlimited chip repairs for free for 1 year plus 1 free windshield replacement for 1 year. Overall I am pleased with my experience with Glass Doctor.

I am happy to give Glass Dr-Meridian an excellent rating after my experience. 1st, I chose Glass Dr after checking online reviews on my area. When I called, the employee that answered my call checked not only the make/model, but also the windshield tint color and perimeter details, then proceeded to call & coordinate with the insurance company, so personal cost would only be the low deductible. I also appreciated learning the windshield replacement could be scheduled within 2 business days as they local source the windows, (what a difference from other auto parts these days). The installer confirmed arrival in advance & replaced the exact windshield type along with my windshield stickers in a professional, friendly manner.

I placed the order and the glass was installed on 10/31/2022. It was just five days from the time I first called to the completed job! The installer called us to let us know he'd arrive within 20 minutes on the scheduled day, he was professional, hardworking and installed the new car window perfectly. We use a car wash regularly and he advised us to wait 48 hours before running the car through, which we did and the seal is perfect (no leaks!) Pricing was better than competition and the service was top notch. Twice they gave me 4 or 5 hour time windows and came in the first two hours both times. So nice not to spend half your day waiting for someone to show up. We got a shower door, they told us 4-6 weeks before it would be ready, it was ready in 10 days. The gal I spoke with to make an appointment was outstanding, she got me in very quickly. The guy that came out to do the work, came off as a know it all, acted as if just cuz I’m a women I don’t know what I’m talking about. Argued with me over my car wash sticker. Until I told him look I’ve had my windshield replace 3 times, this is my 4 th one and the other people were able to stick the sticker back on. He infact did stick it back on and I think a little surprised that I “a women” actually knew what I was talking about. So over all professionalism’s on the installers part was about a 3 but the work was done great!

The work was good. My windshield is fine and looks great. Their customer service is way lacking though. They close STRAIGHT UP 5:00. The installer (I think) called me at 4:58 and said, and I quote "We are closing in 1 minute, you need to get here". I told him I was on my way and it would be just short of 10 minutes. No, it's okay, someone will wait, nothing. Just 'get here'. Unbelievable. That is not treating your customer very good. My insurance paid for this service but so did I in my co-pay. They could have been a little nicer and just a tad bit accommodating...

I have used Glass Doctor in Meridian since 2001. The technicians are always friendly and very helpful. The rock chip repairs I have received over the years have been excellent. Recently, I had to have a chip repair on a tinted window and it turned out so well I had to really look for it after the technician was finished.

I came home from work to find a shattered patio door. Glass Doctor picked up the phone and immediately made an appointment for me. I was going to be at work so paid in advance. They cleaned the shattered glass from my patio and secured my door, until I can figure out a replacement. I appreciate the professional service and quality. I was arriving in Boise Idaho on a Friday afternoon and got there about 5 o’clock and I had taken a rock chip to my front windshield. I called these guys and they fit me in at the end of the day and got me in and out with a rock chip repair in about 20 minutes and only charge me $75

I searched all over the Valley for a windshield for my brand new car. Glass Doctor was recommended by my dealer and their prices were the best. I was paying out of pocket and having the warranty is so helpful. They were also the quickest and offer free “come to you” repair which is great since I don’t have time to take it to a shop. The tech was super nice. He had my car done within an hour. Also the supplies they use allow for a super fast bond so I do not have to drive around with tape on my car. The tech also removed my car wash sticker well enough I was able to reapply it. Great service, great company.

Unfortunately I don’t have a service to review with this place. I did call on a Sunday and talked to someone to be placed on a call back list, Tuesday comes around and I called them. The lady then told me that if I had a wooden door with 9 glass panels in it that they may not be able to fix it because back in the day they built the door around the glass. Understandable, but then I was told they would charge me 35$ just to come look at the door and see if they could fix it. Sure it goes towards the balance but if they can’t fix it, I am out 35$ for nothing but an opinion. I called Anything Glass over in Nampa, the owner came out the next day (0$, not 35$), said yep we can do that no problem it’ll be about 20$ for the glass and 75$ for labor ( OR, these are on the inside and this is how you do it, if you want to save the 75$). I chose to go through the competitor, and pay them to do it solely because they didn’t charge that initial fee to come give me a quote. I might’ve saved 20$ going through glass doctor if they didn’t have any additional install fees but I’m sure they did. This is the after pic from Anything Glass replacing it. Bottom left lane was the busted one.

They do mobile service. No military/veteran pricing but their normal prices are pretty good I guess. Jeep windshield replaced perfectly in about 45 minutes. No air noise heard, no leaks anticipated. Good alignment. Tech had 2 decades of experience. True Jeep windshields are $420 on Quadratec and Dr. Glass installed it for $475 at my house. Friendly, knowledgable and professional. And they work great with your insurance co.

My rear view mirror dropped off the windshield in the morning, dangling by the cord. It's a Mercedes mirror, that is to say it's a heavy mirror because of all the features. I drove straight to my dealer, but they couldn't help reattach it, just disconnect it so it wasn't hanging. I was referred to the Glass Doctor. Boy was I glad. I was walk-in and expected to make an appointment, but they were able to help me that same morning! They used an even stronger adhesive than the original. Fast service, window looks amazing! I appreciate the year warranty (especially living in Idaho with our constant chip sealing). Only complaints are- the guy I dealt with picking up my car was not friendly and seemed bothered to take my money, and the inside dash of my car was pretty filthy upon pick up. A simple two second wipe down after installation would have fixed that. (My car had just been detailed the day before so it was not dirty at drop off.) The woman I talked to on the phone while making the appointment was friendly, helpful and professional. Overall I would go back there again. The cons are easy to look past but could be easily fixed in the future.

They made custom laminate glass pane after our granddaughter fell into their entertainment center, cutting her chin. Perfect fit and smooth edges for safe installation. They also replaced the windshield in my Honda S2000. Great work and as good or better when the car was new. Rather than replacing a window with significant hard water stains they recommended removing the hard water stains with "Glass Doctor Rx Glass & Surface Scrub" which I used. I went on line and found some 5 inch scrubbing pads to use with a cordless drill (A corded drill has to high an rpm). The hard water stains were removed with reasonable effort. The windows look like new!

Service team arrived punctually, performed quickly, quietly and with competence, cleaning up after themselves, wearing protective foot gear etc. Also needed pricing on some other jobs. Technician was professional, knowledge and friendly -- happily explaining details and options available to me in regards to addition window related work that I might want to get done. I got a quote over the phone, a tech came a couple of days later, then when glass came from manufacturer there was a flaw and Glass Doctor requested manufacturer make another glass sheet. It was a couple of days delay, but in the end the whole process was great, got a quality service, and window looks like the other windows. You'd never know it was recently replaced.

Today, I stopped into the Window Doctor after a truck on the freeway flung a rock right in the middle of my windshield. The rock took a dime sized chunk out of the glass and it began to spider out. Thee receptionist was super nice and they got me right in. Safeco insurance covered the cost 100%. It took them about 30 minutes to repair the damages. Once they finished, I was completely and entirely amazed at their work! There is absolutely no evidence that anything even happened. I am a very picky person and I cannot believe what great service I had and what an astonishing job they did. They will forever have my business. I highly recommend them.

My insurance company recommended Glass Doctor. I made an appointment to have a cracked windshield replaced on my motorhome. I provided them with the year, make and model along with a photo of the VIN plate. They ordered the windshield glass and offered me the option of dropping off the vehicle the afternoon before or bringing it in first thing in the morning the day after the glass arrived. It was ready to pick up early afternoon of that day, a couple hours earlier than promised. They also inspected the driver side windshield (the front windshield is two pieces) for chips. All had been repaired previously. They found rust in the frame under the sealant. This is a problem they have seen before. Because it was the factory windshield they removed this time, they opined that the factory had not properly primed the metal before installing the windshields. They took photos and provided me with the original sealant with rust embedded in the event I choose to go back to the manufacturer to redress that issue. They were very professional and courteous. I will use them for all my future auto glass needs.
