We started off on the right foot as our Window World salesperson (Linton) was incredibly patient with all of our questions, and was very responsive to our follow-ups regarding HOA color, etc. He knew his product literally inside and out, as he discuss the differences in air pockets in the various windows. The scheduling staff kept everything perfectly on schedule. Our installers were incredibly professional and expedient. Everything was clean and we found very little residual mess after the installation. The windows are brand new, so only time will tell how they hold up, but so far they're a massive improvement.

Contacted Window World and several other companies for replacement window quotes in our new home. Having used WW 8 years ago in at our previous home, we were pleased nothing had changed since then. They still have the best window, the best warranty, at the best price! We especially love the upfront itemized pricing and gimmick free sales approach. I needed 6 windows replaced so I got quotes from four different companies. Window World was the only one that didn't use a high pressure/hard close sales tactic. They also had the most affordable quote. I really appreciated how straightforward the salesman was. I did have to wait a few months to get the windows but I was okay with that. On installation day, a team of 3 people showed up and got the job done pretty quickly and cleaned up the mess. I've had the windows for a few months now, they look great and I haven't had any issues with them. Highly recommend.

We had around 30 windows to replace and did phase 1 earlier this year and ordered for phase 2 last month. Window World representative Dustin was very knowledgeable and professional, didn't try to sell us on anything not waste our time like some others out there. Once we confirmed the order, someone came within a week to measure the windows and we received the windows/ installation within 4 months of what was promised to us. The installing team was amazing. Finished the job and one day and left the place clean and even replaced a broken window for us by our dog the earlier day with one of the windows replaced with a new one. Highly recommend.

I had worked with 5 companies to get a quote Window World is the company that came on top considering quality, cost, schedule, and responsive. I signed a contract with Window World the installation was ahead of schedule by 3 weeks and the installation crew performed the work in a single day without compromising quality. WW was at our house last week to finish a window installation job. When done, we went into the bedroom and at a glance (as we were busy moving into the house) everything looked fine so we said thanks and got a quote for additional work. A week later, I'm in our room and happen to look the window from the ground up and realize that there is visible damage to the wall from the install in a place that wasn't visible if looking straight at the window. Updated: They sent someone out to fix the concern. Only took them a few minutes to fix it, and this time we both made sure to check the work and align our expectations. Having someone come out and get it to a place where we just need to add paint made us feel valued as customers and made the job feel complete.

No sale tactics, no lengthy 90 minutes sale tricks, no push to sign the contract, and finally no special rate if signed in 15 minutes, and spruce would be present sales tactics. Replaced 9 windows in sunroom with double hung windows vinyl windows. The windows are of good quality, and they did a good job of installing them. The price was acceptable in the $500 per window range with the additional UV protection.

Although out of their control, it took forever for windows to be manufactured and delivered. The management is great but the actual workers seemed to have an attitude I didn’t appreciate. Overall it was worth the aggravation and I have recommended them to friends and clients.

Great product, awesome workers, we were suppised to get a sliding door, but it had a broken piece, so that has been delayed and i havent heard anything more about it, and the white hole fillers (where screws are) they didnt have enough so there ate holes in our new door. Hopefully they will bring them when they do the sliding door, bit other then those 2 things, no complaints!

The one and only question I asked myself when I decided to replace the builder grade windows on my 13.5 year old house: Should I go through Lowe's, Home Depot, Contractor or Window World? The answer was simple. There is only one of these businesses that specializes in windows. From the beginning to the end, I couldn't be more pleased. Four guys replaced 24 windows in one day. I watched as many windows being installed as I could. What impressed me the most is that each of the four could perform every single task. I think I was most amazed while watching the windows being trimmed out. A-1 all the way. I highly recommend this company. Here's what I chose. Series 4000 with Low E glass and grids. The noise reduction for the outside traffic has been cut in half and I can only imagine the energy savings I will receive. To top things off, the energy rating on these windows will allow you to take a tax credit if this is still available. Lastly, another thing to think about and that is the warranty after the sale. Window World stands behind their windows, 100% with a transferable warranty. Who else offers this? Thank you Window World and thank you Josue and crew for the superb installation.

Well, I will state that they do have the best price on windows I found (by like thousands) which is a driving factor for most I would assume, got prices from 3 companies and they were the best, and my guy didn't go with a hard sell, just came in told me the pricing and was open to leaving it at just that. The corner of 1 window the boards came out a bit and definitely not sealed to the house the way it's supposed to be (pictured) so will have to figure out a way to seal that so moisture doesn't get in there, I'm sure a bit of caulk will be fine but still, not something I should have to do after the fact. BUT the biggest reason I'm writing a review is to make people aware of the 18 months no interest deal. Admittedly, great deal, but it is not like a loan as you would think of compared to your mortgage or car loan, what they do is open up a credit card and max it out and you just pay off the credit card. Adding a maxed out credit card to your credit can affect it drastically (mine dropped 30-40 points depending what bureau you look at). So if you need apply for other loans or use your credit in any way within the next 6+ months it will take to repair that, don't go this route. You can definitely plan around this making it not a big deal I guess, but it should certainly not be a surprise getting an alert that your credit has changed to sign in and think someone stole your identity.

It took a few consecutive delays for the installation to actually happen, but when it actually did, I was blown away by the professionalism and effectiveness of the crew. The windows are very high quality, yes, but what really amazed me is the absolute meticulousness and love for perfection that the installers exhibited while performing the job. The finished product is flawless, they repaired prior damage to the house structure at their own time and expense, and at the end they cleaned up every spec of dust that they had caused, going as far as removing the dead leaves from my back yard's floor because small bits and pieces of the old windows and old insulation were intermixed with those leaves. The few items that were imperfect (e.g. window pane broken during transportation), they offered to replace them before I even asked. And I didn't have to pay the post-deposit balance until everything was finished to my full satisfaction. Because of the initial delays, I also got to know the company's president and owner; He is a perfect gentleman willing to go the extra mile to make things right.

There are only two negatives that I have with window world, Time of Delivery, and Communication with the Sales Rep. If you get a sales rep by the name of Cameron, I recommend asking for a new sales rep. Duane Morano of this office is really good at what he does. He has been helping me with my issues and was able to get me to a good point. Their installers are great, and helpful, as well as they are quick. All my windows where installed on one day, caulk and old windows were taken away. They also cleaned after themselves which is very rare to see nowadays. Great job on the installer part. I did order my windows on May 3rd and they Arrived August 3rd after an 8 week promise. Apart of that and some minor miscommunications, everything went well. I plan on using them in the future but only through Duane or I heard the Frederick office is amazing.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Window World on the install of 17 windows and a sliding glass door. We were extremely impressed with the entire process start to finish beginning with the sales rep Linton Sherrard. During our initial consultation he answered all of our questions in detail with absolutely zero pressure and a few days later he emailed us a very clear and organized quote. This was a welcomed difference from the other window companies we had contacted who subjected us to a 3-hour long presentation then were pressured into committing then and there. On the day of the install, Joshua’s crew showed up promptly and got right to work. The crew was very professional, courteous and CLEAN! They worked late into the evening wearing headlamps in 20-degree weather to finish the project in two days. The end result was a flawless install. We would highly recommend Window World and especially Linton and Joshua. We are thrilled with our new windows!

Great experience with Window World. The sales rep was on time for our estimate and very friendly. No high pressure sales pitch with better offers for signing that day like we had experienced with Window Nation and Thompson Creek. Price was lower than 3 other estimate we had by a large amount. They scheduled us for install and arrived 30 minutes early. We were scheduled for 2 days, but the crew worked until 7pm to get everything done in one day. They repaired several window sills and brick molding and made sure everything was in great shape before wrapping all the frames. The caulked and sealed everything and the windows look great. My only very small complaint is that some of the windows needed a cleaning after install due to some hand and finger prints, but overall very impressed with everything from initial sales consultation to the final installation. Great value and great company to work with. Would highly recommend them.

We had the privilege of using Window World for purchase and installation of all new windows. It was a no small project. From the start, Linton Sherrard was great! The initial consultation and contract setup with him was smooth, transparent and thorough, unlike some of the other companies. The price was much better than the competitors too, and the product was superior. The installation was amazing! The crew was skilled, quick and efficient. I couldn't believe how fast they were done! The windows looked great! Recently, though, I noticed some orange looking substance coming out of one of the windows. I contacted Window World and spoke with Alexandra Winthrop. She got details from me and asked for pictures and said she would follow through on a resolution. I was on a time crunch due to a function coming up with over fifty guests at my home. In the back of my mind, I thought it wouldn't happen anytime soon. But Alexandra kept her word. She kept me abreast of the situation and followed through until it was done. The crew came out, fixed the problem one morning, and everything was beautiful. I want to truly commend Alexandra Winthrop for being a standout employee. She deserves a raise! People like her make the company better and distinguish it from others. I was already happy with Window World, but after what she did, I'm completely sold on this company. I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Window World ! I received estimates from 4 different companies and Window World had the best prices and the best warranty. But more important, the people I dealt with were terrific! The sales person was very knowledgeable with no high sales pressure. The windows are such a high quality, they sell themselves. I had 25 windows installed and the installation team was amazing. They worked tirelessly to insure that the windows fit perfectly and looked great. The prices are reasonable compared to other companies (my rating is based on price NOT service). The service is mediocre at best. I purchased a glass slider and front entry door/storm door. The contractor was supposed to show up between 9 & 11 am, they didn't show until 4 pm. The doors were installed but since they arrived so late, the job took two days. Well, two weeks if you consider how long it took to install the correct doorknob. The job site was left for me to clean, in their defense they did clean up the "big pieces"; which left me with nails on my walkway, fingerprints and caulk on the slider and storm doors, plastic shards left from screws. All in all, I won't be using this company again. The company takes no responsibility when the job isn't done, you'll hear "did you call the contractor? " and things of the sort. If you need cheaper prices sure (just go in with a "you get what you pay for" mindset); but if price is not a deal breaker, I purchased my windows from Thompson Creek and the service was fantastic, from sales to install. Just a suggestion 🤷🏿‍♀️

I had an excellent experience with Windows World from initial pricing to installation. Gerardo and Saul were wonderful installers, working tirelessly and thoroughly to get my windows and doors installed even in the winter cold. They were professional, polite, and even assisted me in re-installing my window hangings at the end of the job. When the crew realized they didn't have my full order, the project manager Henry was extremely responsive, assisting me as quickly as possible and making sure everything was installed to my satisfaction. Overall our experience with Window World was great! The sales rep was friendly and knowledgeable about the product, customer service was polite, the rep who measured our windows was quick and the window installers were very nice and worked VERY hard! They arrived 20 minutes early and got started right away and didn't stop until the job was done. The windows themselves are WONDERFUL! The outside noise has been greatly reduced, the windows look great and are really easy to use. My only complaint would be that Window World should have a set a better expectation of time- we ordered the same day the sales rep was here and had to wait... and wait.. and wait. Wait for the call to set up the measurements, wait for the windows to arrive, wait for the call to set up the installation appointment. I'd say from first contact with WW to job completion was over a month's time. Just would have been good to know so we weren't wondering what was going to happen next and when. But we are SO GLAD we updated the windows with WW. What a difference they make!

They custom made each window for me at the factory which took a little more time but it was worth the wait. The product was priced right, and the installation of 27 windows was done in one day. Negatives: The lead precautions were pretty non-existent in the name of speed, and there was one window where the installer blamed the house for a bad fit, but his supervisor eventually showed him it was a small manufacturing excess that could easily be removed. Positives: Very attentive to us as customers getting the work done before the holidays, a great product that we are very happy with, and not trying to scam us like Thompson Creek (TC's starting quote 32K, down to 19K before leaving our home, Window World did the same job for 13K!).

Our experience with Window World's installation of new exterior shutters was superb, start to finish. The office personnel were friendly and efficient, and the representative who handled our job, Ken Farren, was excellent in every respect. We had a small job, but Window World handled it with as much attention to detail and careful oversight as if it had been a large job. We were also very pleased with the skill of the installer, who worked closely with the general contractor who was doing our exterior painting so that the shutters were placed in precisely the correct position. Windows World has been absolutely great to work with - from the time we first bought our windows in 2012 to now when we’re moving and transferring the warranty to the new owners. The price was by far the best compared to all the replacement windows companies I talked with when looking for new windows There was an immediate effective on my winter gas bills and summer electric bills which were both cut in half after the installation of the new windows. The windows have worked perfectly expect for one minor issue which has been covered by the lifetime warranty. The staff at Windows World Chantilly - specifically Alex Wentworth - was absolutely great helping with both replacing a window under warranty and helping with the transfer of the warranty to the new owners. I have no doubt the transferable warranty was great selling point for my house. I highly recommended Windows World of Chantilly - they’re great!

From start to finish, everything was great. Contacted Window World/Linton to obtain 13 windows for my mom's enclosed patio. She passed away and I am getting the house ready for market. I was on a time schedule and had wasted three weeks due to a different company telling me only 5 panels of glass needed to be replaced for $1,000 when in fact all 13 windows were bad. Could not believe how much the panels of glass were compared to the quote for all 13 windows! Linton rushed to get my windows measured and ordered and stated that it would be approximately 4 weeks for delivery/installation of windows. To my surprise, it was 2 weeks! The crew of 3 arrived on time - they were pleasant, humorous and hard working. Linton called the day prior to installation and at the end of the day following installation. I have done business with this company twice before and have never had a bad experience. The patio is beautiful and I could not be happier. Their product seemed state-of-the-art in design and best of all they offer a lifetime guarantee for their windows. I was impressed from the moment Linton Sherrard walked in the door to give me an estimate. He was very professional, knowledgeable about the product and the kind of sales person you instantly want to work with. Best of all the estimate was close to $1,000 less than the other one I had received! The installers came when expected and worked non-stop till all windows were installed. They too were professional in their job and seasoned craftsmen in their trade. There was a huge amount of old windows which they loaded on their truck and did a good job of cleaning up. At time of installation, one window was cracked, they said two weeks to get new one in, and the new bay window, whole new bay, was measured wrong and was short. On the bay window they ran out of insulation foam, foam in a can, and just wanted to put molding up without filling the gaps. I showed them areas you could see daylight through the structure. They refused to get more foam insulation, so I said at least use caulking that they had. So that's what they did. It took two months and a phone call to get the cracked window fixed, no one knew about it and was never ordered, until I called. Now to the bay window, the heavy rain storm we had, well it leaks we found out, not through the window sashes but through the frame. I've made one call to them so far, which the response was that should never happen, they're made very well and it must be from the installation, I'll call you back before the end of the day and let you know what the next step will be. That was Monday, today is Saturday. I'll try again next Monday see if something gets accomplished. We liked the salesman that came to our house and sold us the windows, maybe that was our problem - we liked the salesman. If not for him this would probably be a one star review.

My wife and I recently ordered 18 windows and a new front entrance way for an older home we purchased in Haymarket Va. We had 9 windows installed first, followed by another 9 windows a few weeks later. (Ihighly recommend spliting up large orders, as it ensures a quality installation) The entry way is all new (new sidelights and a new front door). We listened to several different company sales pitches from Anderson, Pella, and ThompsonCreek. We couldn't believe how affordable the windows at WW were when compared to these other companies. Now on to the savings. Windows were a significant investment for us, but the savings we have seen have been unbelievable. We currently heat our home with propane and have a 500 gallon tank buried in our back yard. In 2013 we had to fill up the tank 3 times ($1,000 per fill up) during the winter. Since the new windows and entrance way we only had to have 1 fill up for 2014. That was a savings of $2,000 for us. Our electricity bills also decreased during the summer by $20-$30 a month after the new windows and door were installed. The windows we purchased were the 4,000 series with Argone filled glass. The windows look nice, operate perfectly, installation was quick and easy, and the savings have been amazing. If you are looking for a great guy to work with ask for Dustin Swartz and relax. He takes care of everything, and even takes before and after pictures at the job site. We have been very pleased and are in the process of getting new shutters and siding from Windown World. One thing to note, when you are talking to other companies ask them about their lifetime warranty on their windows. You will be amazed at their response. Window World delivers the warranty at installation.

Had 12 windows and 1 sliding door installed. After signing contract and giving them 50%, had a brain fart about remembering to Google review them. The reviews were HORRIBLE...... however, my experience was not. I bought the cheapest possible window, (all you need is double pane. all that E glass, blah blah, is just throwing money away) and 12 windows, with a sliding glass door came to $4009. The windows are average, the service was average, and the installation was average. Factoring in the price, I'm very happy with the company. I'm sketchy on their warranty, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there. I'd recommend, and I'd use them again.

The sales rep said that certain items could be taken care by the installers. He thought that our storm door could be kept. He said that our cable wires connection to the exterior box could be handled by them. I was given assurances that in 3-4 weeks.after hsving signed the contract and having paid 50% deposit that everything would be installed. That target date of Dec.15th came and went. I called and learned that my 31 windows could not be found. Later I was told my front door had come in and that after Jan 3rd it would be installed with my 31 windows. By Christmas. I was told that because of all the rain, installations were back up a bit. My order was being held at the Tenn. factory until more storage epaced freed up. A problem.was that "with the holidays the Tenn factory was closed for a week." The contract merely stares that installation should occur within 4-6 weeks. That time had passed but the contract gave the company up to 180 days to complete installation and held liable for delays due to weather. Precip has to be under 50% for you to be told the installers will come. So Jan. 17th & 18th became the new target date. I looked at youtube videos as to what I migjt expect and what was expected of me as a homeowner. Several dats before I started taking down curtains and shades, plus clearing furniture, etc. 3 ft in front of windows. My wife wanted me to hold off taking down shades and curtains in our bathrooms and in our walk-in closet dressing area. She was concerned that the Thursday evening snow might hit earlier in the day, and thus cause another delay. I agreed since I figured that I'd do those items while the installers worked on those window areas already prepped by me, and that rain on a weekly basis seemed to the pattern of things. The installers showed up on Thursday morning. All 6 of them. They said that all the inside aspects of the installation of all 31 windows would occur on this first day. So I scrambled getting the remaining window areas prepped. This included drilling out a bigger hole in the old basement widow so I could pull out our cable connection. Once the new basement window was inserted, I had to drill an acess hole near the window frame and thread the cable wire through it and re-attach iit to the exterior cable box. I had rhe tools to do all that but it took me more than a half hour to do that. Once re-connected cable and internet service was back on. By now it was dark and the crew had to quit. They would install the front door and do all the exterior window work (mainly flashing and sealing) tomorrow on Friday. It was on Friday that they told me that my existing storm door would not fit with their new door. These guys did a great job and worked like a swarm of bees. They were very good at limiting the amount of dust and dirt introduced into the house. They readily cleaned up after themselves. They worked until about 6 pm on Friday as they had to load up all the old windows and door. Thus, the 4 stars, despite the delays and miscommunications. There were minor adjustments to the front door that I needed ti do after they left. I had to realign the striking plate so the knob lock and bolt lock worked better together. When we got thst polar vortex the following days, I noticed how the bottom of the door had a space for cold sir to rush in. That was easily remedied by loosening the 4 screws on the threshhold board, which allowed it to rise up enough to seal things up. And, yeah, I noticed how having these new windows really made a difference with the polar vortex dropping outside temps down ti wind chill of -5. So am I a satisfied Wundows World customer? So far I am!
