I have a townhouse so there were only 7 windows to install, but the old were out and the new ones were I’m in 2 hours. Everything was done beautifully abs everything was cleaned up. All the works were professional and even talked Pokémon with my son.

The group of guys were awesome, friendly and knew exactly what to do. I think it took no more than 3 1/2 hours to remove 16 and install 12. Replaced with sliding windows in 4 rooms. Makes it look so much bigger and cleaner. LOVE THEM Lawrence Craft and his crew.

The installation crew was fantastic! John and Sean led a group that were like a well-oiled machine...they worked together as a team to remove, install, caulk, trim, etc., my new windows and sliding glass doors. Very professional. They also performed some minor touches, when they realized that my replacement doors looked slightly different after installation, to make our rooms look finished. I appreciate their thoroughness. I thought it would be a full day job, but they were able to complete everything in just a few hours! I love my new windows and glass doors, and would highly recommend them.

Very satisfied customers. In April 2021 we ordered with salesman Brian Eskridge. This month windows were installed by Mike and Justin, and the rest of the entire crew. All were prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous. Many of my initial concerns over were quickly at ease as the crew started their work which was without delay. Quite often the crew members worked as if they knew the next step and their role in the job, very happy to see that along with good work ethic had by all. As an aside a seemly more infrequent posture of today’s work force. From initial measurements to installation, the customer service was amazing. Mike and his entire installation crew were extremely thorough and professional when putting my windows in. I have been waiting 8 months to have my windows installed. Every time I call to inquire about scheduling my installation, Nancy tells me they should be calling me in a few weeks to add me to the schedule. I have been told this multiple times over several months. When I inquired about canceling, they tell me I’m not able to do that either. I would not recommend this company. They don’t hold up their end of the contract and then don’t allow you to cancel. They may have lower prices than other major installers and now I know why. Update: 4/17/2021 They installed the windows. They look amazing. I’m bumping up the review to 3 stars. The manufacturer sent the wrong size window for one of my half circle windows. Other than that, the install was fast and relatively easy.

I had windows in the back of my house and patio door installed first, the Team that came did a great job! I later had the windows in the front of my house installed, the 2nd Team that came out; I was not impressed. I also had shutters installed, they were too short and they are not installed flush to the windows, so you see a space between the window and shutter.

The guys worked in very hot weather and did not stop until the job was done. I had 13 windows installed at a great price. 4 different estimates and Window World of Tidewater prices beat them all by $1000 to $2000 less.

We recently had OLD and rotten windows replaced in our outdoor shed. The windows were back ordered for longer than we were originally told due to COVID, but the company corresponded with us and kept us updated. The windows did arrive about a month sooner than we were expecting and we received a call one day and the windows were installed the next day. The workmen were professional and courteous! Window World was highly recommended by two neighbors, and they were right! The staff made the process easy from the initial visit to give an estimate and measure- right through the installation. The install crew called ahead and were here when they promised. The team of three finished our eight window job quickly, cleaned up, gave us info and a quick lesson about use and care, explained the warranty, and carted the old windows off with them. Our love our new windows and the customer service was great! No hassle waiting for someone to answer the phone. They showed up when they said that they would. Brandon, our sales guy was very knowledgeable, courteous, and gave a good presentation of the windows and his company and he answered all of our questions. I thought that the cost was reasonable for the quality. The window guys that came to install also came right on time when they said that they would. They, too, were very respectful and worked efficiently. They made sure to put a work sheet under the windows to not leave a mess and cleaned up nicely when they were done. Our salesman was very knowledgeable, kind and not at all pushy. He gave helpful suggestions to keep us on budget. We ordered the windows in October, they arrived in January, and we scheduled a Saturday install for February. We had 11 windows and it took the crew of three 2 1/2 hours to install. They also showed us how to use the windows-gotta know how to clean them. They left the house spotless. My husband joked that our house is now a Yeti...it is now that well insulated.

4 estimates to replace windows in our house, Window World was the best. But what really set them apart was the knowledge of the sales person about what we needed and why. Replaced a door to the deck with a sliding glass door that really opened up the great room. This was an investment resale home and we had one open house and it sold the first day in large part due to the appearance of the house with new windows. Salesperson noted every repair and improvement needed and his plan was followed flawlessly by install team .21 windows and 8 ft sliding door installed in about 4 hours. I had Window World install 59 windows over the past 10 years and I’ve always had Mike’s crew handle the install. If I was just reviewing the crew, the review would be 10 stars, as Mike and his crew are top notch. The wait times for the windows are well below average and not just because of Covid. As I said before my windows have been installed over a ten year period so I’ve been with them a long time. Many times the lead times were months out. The office staff is definitely not one of my favorites. They rarely call you back, they disconnect calls and often can’t answer questions. Overall, the value is pretty solid, the windows are well crafted and they stand by their products.

Hello, I had the pleasure of having 7 windows installed by Window World on March 10th 2020. The three young gentlemen was “ Excellent “ in all aspects. They were very professional, respectful and knowledgeable about the service in which I received. The timing was wonderful and they took the pleasure of cleaning everything up once they completed the job. The Windows are great, this is my second time having windows installed by Window World. My house has been getting compliments about how these window make my home look🤗. I have a couple more windows that I will be getting installing hopefully later this summer. Window World replaced our windows in 2010, and the windows have been wonderful. I recently had a problem closing a window that I had cleaned. James, Gayle, and all the staff were conscientious and pleasant. It took James about two minutes to get the window back on track. Within the last year, one top window had to be replaced, and again, the service was timely and the staff cooperative. Thank you!

I had successfully used Window World on 2 previous occasions. When I ordered this complete window replacement I wasn't told until after the contract was signed that there would be a long delay in installation. As it turned out it was 7 months. Shocking. And they took and held a substantial deposit. I had a lot of difficulty getting straight answers out of the office staff. All in all it was a harrowing experience blamed on CoV. I think honesty could have gone a long way in this situation. The actual installation was fast and efficient. If you select them plan to have lots of patience and be prepared to talk to a pretty abrupt staff with few answers to your questions. If you have a tough skin you can save a little money with them.

Love my new 4000 Series windows installed in January 2021. Due to Covid, installation was delayed but it was worth the wait. My installers were Whit and Marty. These 2 guys were very professional with their install and after clean up you never would have known they were there. There 2 guys had an excellent attitude and were very respectful. Good windows at a fair price. Salesman was knowledeable and professional. Installation crew was efficient, professional, and cleaned up well. The only problem was the length of time to get the windows. The contract said 8-12 weeks. When I ordered, they said it would be more like 14 weeks due to COVID. In the end it was 24 weeks. Some delay is to be understood with the pandemic but a delay of 100% is too much, especially with no discount being provided for the delay.

We are very pleased with the quality of the windows and sliding glass door that were installed on our sun porch. We were also impressed with the salesman who recommended the style of windows we purchased, as they were actually the least expensive of the styles to choose from. The installers were very professional and the finished product looked great. The exterior trim work they used was custom formed and very complementary to the new windows. We would have rated our experience with Window World a "5" but for one thing; when removing the old glass sliding door old termite damage was found with the frame, header, and plywood siding. The installer brought this to my attention and recommended the damaged areas be repaired/replaced before continuing with the new door installation. I agreed totally with the recommendation and inquired as to what it would cost to do make the recommended repair. When the installer called back to the office for a quote, it was almost double for what I would have expected for a straight forward job like this. The "standard fee" was $1500, which did include all materials. Which, in my opinion, broke down to less than $100 in materials and took 2 guys about 3 hours to accomplish. That makes for a charge of $233 per hour each. Yes, we could have gone out for other quotes, but the old door was gone and everything else was ready to go. SO, we bit the bullet and had them do the work. Once again, the workmanship was excellent. So, at least we got best value for our dollars. I would still recommend Window World as an excellent source for replacement windows.

All were professional and courteous. And they left our house and yard as clean as it was before they arrived. Highly recommended.

Some might think I should have given a lower rating, but I appreciated her calling me promptly and being upfront with me. Unfortunately with the condition of the housing market (lots of rehabs) and not enough "human resources", this is our new normal.

We waited a long time from order to install because the install teams and factory were shutdown for COVID-19 safety. It was well worth the wait. The windows are fantastic. The windows are top quality and the field of view through the Window World windows is at least as much as the original wood windows they replaced. Very much looking forward to an easier job when cleaning the windows and enjoying the energy savings from the improved insulation value. Window World of Tidewater was responsive, easy to work with and the quality of the installation was top notch - and quick. The whole project was very affordable so I had Window World install new siding, trim and gutters as well. I'm very pleased.

Other than the fact that it took quite a while to get the job started (because of COVID limiting workers in the factories to make windows) or they did an awesome job. The whole tram was quick, efficient, clean and professional. We are definitely happy we selected WW to replace our much needed windows!

The windows themselves are good. It is important to know that they do NOT replace your existing windows as they are currently installed. They remove your old windows and then install the replacements in the current finished opening. If you have plans of remodeling I highly recommend waiting. The team that come out to install the windows were very professional and did a good job at cleaning up after themselves. My rating is simply based off Window World of Tidewaters failure to accurately explain this to me even though I asked several questions and mentioned I was going to be remodeling one of the rooms.

I bought replacement windows about 6 years ago and was very happy with the outcome. A few months ago, I realized that two of the windows had vapor leaks so I called WW about it. The Customer Service associate was very helpful and ordered the replacements. It took about 6 weeks, but when the gentleman came, he removed the old windows, put in the new ones in about 15 minutes. I was really happy with the whole experience and would recommend WW to everyone!

I own a beach cottage built in 1934. When I purchased the home it had old fashioned pocket windows. They rattled in the winter, and made the house hard to both cool and heat reliably. In 2005 I contacted Window World and had them replace my pocket windows with very nice serviceable replacement windows. My heating costs went down, and my house was more livable. Flash forward to 2018. A few of my windows were weathering poorly - the coatings had started to oxidize, and they weren't attractive any more. I contacted Window World and with litter more than an email they replaced all of the fogged up windows - no charge, on my schedule and at my convenience. If you are considering replacement windows LOOK NO FURTHER! These guys are the best!!

We had our windows replaced in early 2016, since then I've had 3 inserts replaced due to silica haze. I recently found two more that need replaced. We do have a lifetime warranty however it's a real pain in the butt to have to continuously check my windows now. If you're looking for fast installation, Window World is not the "go to" place. Expect 8-12 weeks after ordering (which was totally fine by us). Installers did a fantastic job installing but not very good with the cleanup, I found broken pieces of glass and nails left in our yard.

I am very pleased so far with my windows. They were the most reasonable company that I talked to and the windows are great. I was very impressed with the company for the installation. Every one had a task to do that morning and they went right to it. They are extremely organized and they work very efficiently and quick as well. I suppose this is one reason that they can offer their windows at a lower price as they can do quality as well as quantity.

We just had Window World replace all 23 windows in our home. The entire experience from initial estimate and contract signing until the final install was the most professional home contractor experience I have ever had. Charlie (the sales rep) did not pressure us in the least and he steered us away from more expensive window options he thought we didn't really need. The install foreman (Shawn) went above and beyond to make sure the job was completed without any issues and cleanup looked like no one had been there. He even took the time to shore up a couple of loose doors that were improperly installed a few years ago by another company before his team wrapped the door frames. I cannot say enough good things about this experience. The installers were clean, friendly, and seemed to enjoy their work and didn't mind shooting the breeze with me when I picked their brains about what they were doing. Finally, Window World's lifetime warranty is like nothing I've ever run across in the home contractor business. If we ever have any issues with our windows from a baseball breaking the glass to a caulk line coming loose, I will sleep easy knowing Window World will take care of it. If you want windows replaced in your home, don't hesitate for a second to give Window World a chance to earn your business!

My experience with Window World was professional and pleasant. The installation crew was timely and neat. It was definitely worth every penny. The new windows gave my older and out dated home a new face lift. My only complaint would be, I wish the windows didn’t have to take 6 weeks to make and have shipped from the factory. Outside of that I am definitely using them again and strongly insists that others try them as well.

The windows are gorgeous but the time it took for me to get my windows was horrible. Ordered my window in October 2019 and they didn't get installed until the end of March 2020 after several hiccups. Having to be rescheduled about 3 times due to weather and then when they came to install, the windows didn't fit so I had to wait again for them to be made at the factory. But everyone was polite and my windows look amazing.

I was SO impressed. I didn't expect to be. Window World was the lowest estimate....buy a fair amount. They advertise a lot. I really expected to get by with the job they did, but did not expect to be impressed. I am IMPRESSED. The job was replacing the upper windows in a two story room. They also had to take down and replace vertical blinds that had been in place for 30 years and would cost a true fortune to replace. We were very nervous. The crew arrived mid morning (they had to come to the Peninsula from Virginia Beach through the traffic). We never thought they could do such a complicated job in one day. They were completely finished before 4:00. They were marvelously professional. They absolutely made it look easy, which it certainly was not and they did all these nearly impossible things with such good humor that it was a real pleasure to have them in our home. I would and do recommend Window World without reservations.......no with enthusiasm. Our last window replacement project was done by Mr. Rogers Windows and they were excellent too......but at a much much higher price.

We replaced all the windows in our house (31) and I got many estimates. A contractor friend recommended talking to Window World. Best decision I made. When the salesman came to give us an estimate, his pitch was straight forward. Not a used car salesman one. Price was the price with all the options clearly indicated though there was little to decide. He even assured us we didn't need their top of the line window as it was really for northern states. Even the "fine print" was on a single sheet and in large type so you knew exactly what you were getting into. The installation team came out as scheduled and were professional efficient and friendly. Their work was top notch and when the weather forced them to stop work (painting remained) they refused the final payment until work was 100% complete. Were they the cheapest? No but they were far from the most expensive. You get exactly what you pay for and that is excellent windows guaranteed for life. Could not have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend them.

Window World was an awesome experience from start to finish. Let me start by saying that we received a quote for similar quality windows from Lowes, Homefix Custom remodeling, LEI Home Improvements, and Mr. Rogers before choosing Window World. Window World beat the price of all those other companies by far. Price was not the sole reason behind my decision, I was equally concerned about product warranties to include how warranty claims are handled. Window World's warranty is simply one of the best out there and if you scroll through all these reviews you will see many comments from customers who successfully made claims with zero hassle. That is not the case for many other window companies. We had Window World replace all our windows which totaled 24 windows as well as had them replace our front and back door. Everything was installed perfectly with great efficiency and you could never tell they were there because they cleaned up everything and didn't leave a trace of debris. The salesman (Brandon) was nothing short of professional and didn't pressure us into a sale whatsoever. The installation team was very courteous and true professionals. The only thing from my entire experience that was slightly annoying was the long wait. We placed our order August 21st and our windows and doors were not installed until November 13th. I will say as annoying as the wait was it was well worth the wait. I highly recommend Window World for any exterior project you are planning on your home.

I’d definitely recommend Window World to anyone looking for new windows! They did an amazing job in such a fast time, and the pricing was great. They pulled up, replaced 12 windows, & pulled off in only two hours! They did a great job & didn’t leave any trash behind. We had a small leak that we called them out for but it didn’t end up being their problem & they still suggested what the problem was & caulked our awning that was above our window. Very friendly and helpful!

A very good product but WW failed to contact me during my 8 month wait without updates of possible delivery date changes. There was a letter but a personal contact would have helped to ease stress. The installers said that they had received the same complaint from other customers about the lack of personel contact by WW. WW continued to advertise their products without mentioning the delays in filling orders. Also one if my front windows fogs due to temperature changes.

Every window in my home was replaced by WW and also my front and rear doors. Quality products, knowledgeable salesmen and installers. We had a sit down with a representative from Mr. Roger's Windows and the rear door would have cost over $5000 dollars. We turned to WW and they quoted us over $2000 less for the same door from the same manufacturer. The professionalism, knowledge and the do it right install was a great experience. I highly recommend WW for any home improvement you need.

The installers are incredible and really make it look easy. The only hard part is dealing with the office. You have to kick and scream to get an install date. Was told it would be 6 to 8 weeks before our windows would be ready. Recieved a call 2 weeks later asking to install the next day. When we're called back they said they found someone else first. I asked for a set date since my windows were in and the lady kept saying that's not how it works. After taking to numerous people and I believe the owner that lady called me back with a date 45 days out. She was the only part of my experience i didn't enjoy , that's why it's only 4 stars. Everyone else was nice and pleasant to deal with. I would recommend them to everyone and give them a heads up about our small problem with the office personnel.

The problems listed below were eventually made right by the company. And we love the doors. Waited months for our door. 2 install dates passed and both times rep shows up past install time with excuses. 2nd install date was today. Now he says door had to be reordered, and he can’t even give a new estimated install date until next week! We took down all door and window coverings to prepare and now my family room looks awful for guests coming in. Additionally we have held off finishing our deck railing for months now to make the install easier for them, which is a safety issue! What happened to this company? We have had dozens of windows installed over the years from them... and recommended them to others. This is so unprofessional! I am super angry with their lack of credibility and poor communication.

Installed a sliding glass door to replace a wooden frame door that had wood rot. Initial survey was accurate and professional. Installation was efficient and professional. Very satisfied with the quality of the door. Delivery of the door took several weeks longer than originally quoted. Initial install was postponed due to installer being delayed by an earlier job. I never heard back from the scheduler to reschedule so I called and was told that I would need to wait another month since I had canceled the initial install, which was not true. Scheduler was able to find a more acceptable date. Would definitely recommend Window World to friends and neighbors.

I had my entire house completed with new windows. They did an excellent job. Their team comes out and each one has a task up do as they work together. They are done in a matter of hours and I had 13 windows. Their warranty is untouchable. I had a problem with them over charging me by accident and I called, it was corrected immediately. The installation & sealing was good. My only issue is that when the old door was removed, they didn’t cut the caulk completely & paint chips were pulled off. Also, when the new door was installed, caulk was smeared on the painted wall. Since I don’t have touch-up paint, I had to try color-match at Lowe’s. Very close, Not exact, but the only option was to repaint the room. Personally, I think a better job measuring could be done. That’s why they didn’t get 5 stars.

I just bought a new house and needed new windows on the back of my house. I had used them to install the sliders, front door and garage door on my old house and always received excellent service so I knew they wouldnt let me down. We had a slight schedule change due to impending bad weather but they were great about trying to accommodate me. They got here promptly and had my windows installed in under 2 hours. The whole process was not what I expected. I began not knowing anything about replacing windows, and although I'm still not the expert, I learned enough to feel that choosing Window World was a very intelligent choice. Larry Craft, the Rep who walked me through my options, freely explained prices and quality of product and then without pressure, allowed me to decide what was best for my budget. Sean (don't recall last name), the installer, was pleasant and very professional. He took his time to insure that everything was sealed and installed to last.... but what impressed me even more, was the time it took him to complete the installation. Had I attempted to do it myself, I would still be working on them! Sean also offered his advice on other concerns that I have to address with the rental property.... which was very helpful. I had another estimate before choosing your company. You saved me almost $700 and I got a better quality product! You should be as proud of these 2 guys, as I am of the new windows. Are the windows a good price? Yes. At the end of the day will you have installed seemingly nice windows? Yes. Is that all that you're looking for? Go with Window World. Other than that..don't expect much. Our ordering process did not go without some frustration in lack of communication and sometimes difficulty in getting phone calls/emails returned. The installers were nice and polite and were done more quickly than expected..however...with two small children and a dog I would have traded time not to later find shards of glass all over my home. This was not an..oh one window must have had problems scenario..literally found glass in 4 different locations throughout my house. Don't get me wrong..I expected to have to vacuum...and did so immediately. However I did not plan on finding glass in beds, on our couch, and among my children's toys. I called for a follow up and by the time my call was returned 2 days later it was offered to me to have a crew come out to double check their clean up. No thanks...do you think i possibly lived in my home during that time without a super thorough cleaning already? Overall..if you're looking for a deal...you'll find one here. If you're looking for anything more..it may be worth doing a bit more shopping around.

Workman were pleasant, the windows held during the big storm, no leaking which made us extremely happy considering we have a window from another company that keeps leaking with every big storm. The price was amazing. The only reason I did not give Window World 5 stars is because they did not match my flashing around my new windows, so it makes the outside of my home look awful. Now, my husband and I have to figure out how to match our siding with this dirty strip around our window. The installer said, "this was common with there product and there was nothing they could do." I should have been told prior too and we could have been better prepared to have someone to paint or install a new strip for them.

After we chose to go with them, Brandon came back out and measured all 15 windows. About 8 weeks later, Mike's crew came out to install the windows. All of them fit perfectly (good job Brandon). Mike's crew was very organized, hard working and professional. They kept the house and yard very clean while taking out the old windows. They were very efficient (got done in 3.5 hours). Whitt installed the windows (mostly) and took the time to get each one installed square and level and laid down a pretty bead of caulk. He was polite and explained a lot to me. Great communication skills. Mike was the main bender and took the time to explain to me what he was doing and why. I was there to oversee the entire job, but even if I wasn't, I felt like these guys would have done just as good of a job. Very professional and trustworthy. Just had a window done in our kitchen as a 'test' window (to see if I wanted to hire them to do the rest). The window is ok, it's bulky vinyl with cheap plastic pieces that hold the screen in place, the biggest issue I have is the caulking job around the window, it's terrible and totally ruins the look of the window, caulk doesn't meet in corners, uneven and bumpy, just not a professional job at all. Totally disappointed and won't use them in the future as of right now. UPDATE: Installer came back and was nice about trying to fix the issues with the caulk. Overall still doesn't have a 'professional' look to it.
