Overall, I give them only three stars because their customer service and support is lacking, almost entirely. It took 13 weeks to get mine installed. Three weeks of delay once they had my windows ready. Each time it was new excuse, not enough installers, weather. I asked to speak with management, never got through. The cost savings with them was eaten up by my interest payments that I had to make for two extra months. I, personally, will go with a window company that can windows in faster and has better customer service. On the other hand, Paul Malone, my installer who contracted with Window World, was top notch. He put all 12 of my windows in by himself, didn’t break one of the old aluminum windows into the house, cleaned up every scrap of debris, and did a fabulous job installing the new windows. A very hard worker. He’s the only reason I gave three stars. It would’ve been zero stars.

Nash 2 was awesome! Major issues with initial install of the sliding glass doors. (installation was upside down). Window world sales was wanting me to spend another $800-1000 to fix the issue, even mentioned a lien on my house if I didn’t pay. However cooler heads prevailed and they sent Nash 2 crew in the next day. They noticed what the problem was in 2 minutes. Then quickly & efficiently uninstalled & reinstalled the doors. They were very professional and Patrick explained all their efforts to us as they worked. The original crew did all 17 windows superbly as well, including a gorgeous picture window (attached below). So overall it was a great investment on this 60 yr old house, it really looks beautiful.

I've used Window World on two different rental houses, one in Athens, and one in Huntsville. I highly recommend them. If you use them request the Nash Crew to install your windows. Milton did a flawless job measuring our windows and Patrick and Connor explained exactly what they were doing. The windows looked great and installed nine windows in a very short time. Everything was caulked up nice, windows were wrapped with aluminum, and all debris picked up. The lifetime warranty is great on the windows and screens.

I am replacing twenty 54 year old wood windows and storm windows in my house a few at a time. Pricing is reasonable, communication is outstanding. Workmanship is excellent - the installation crew showed up on time, did an excellent job removing the old windows and installing the new ones, cleaning up after themselves and hauling away all the debris. The project manager called to check the progress of the job as it was going on and again later in the day to assess my happiness with the work. My home looks and feels 100% better. I can’t ask for anything more.

A team of men came out yesterday, there names are Jason and Frank. They were very professional, polite, hard working and very efficient. The work was done in a very timely manner and it was all done extremely well everything looks great. They went above and beyond they took my blinds as I'm a senior and just can't any longer, and they also took extra time and put them back up. They cleaned up after themselves and couldn't even tell that they had been here except the house is much cooler and looks great on the outside.. If you need new windows as we did I highly recommend Window World and Jason and Frank you won't be sorry!!!

First, to be told our warranty would cover the replacement of the top half of our window that was broken in a failed furniture rearrangement effort was an absolute blessing...bed frame rail with two huge metal hooks falls into the window, glass = 0, bed frame rail = 1. Call to Window World in a panic, we can help you is all I heard. Panic starts to ease as instructions are given to locate the barcode for the portion of the window needing to be replaced. Provided the barcode and my work was done. Window replacement order.was placed. Upon arrival of the window replacement, plans for a technician to come install the window were made. The technician was great. He had an outstanding personality even while working in the "it feels like 120 degrees in this southern heat!" conditions. It took less than 10 minutes and our window was fixed, glass was cleaned up, and garbage was thrown out.. looking like no one was ever here and the window was never broken. Thanks Jerry!! You rock!!

Top part of my vinyl window had turned foggy and had mildew between the double pane. Jared Cary showed up right on time and was fast and very professional and friendly. Someone called a day ahead to confirm the appointment and then Jared called to let me know he was on his way. He also measured for window that needs the same kind of replacement for the second time. This may not be the cheapest company but having a hassle free replacement option is well worth the extra cost 😊

I had an estimate done by Mr Ivan Moncayo for replacement of all my condo’s windows. He was outstanding with the estimate explaining everything from type of windows, differences in effectiveness and cost, available payment plans and approximate time line for installation. He had samples on hand to show the actual window construction. He patiently answered all my questions. I knew I was going to use Window World by the time he was through so then he patiently explained the online contract signing so when I decided on which payment plan I wanted to use I could do everything on line. Then he said the magic words. “Just call me if you have questions about the contract.” And once again he was so helpful and patient when I did call. He did everything he said he would. I had 15 windows replaced in one day. The technicians worked very hard to accomplish this, and the result is amazing. The Technicians were also cordial, respectful and friendly, which made the experience more enjoyable. The only down side was the wait time, it was over 3 months to be scheduled, but that something they were upfront about it, so you know right the way you will need to wait.

I noticed that one of my windows had malfunctioned. It was rusted in the bottom. I called and ordered a replacement. I was told that it would take 3 to 4 weeks for the replacement to arrive. I set the date for the window to be changed. I receive a call from Drew and he came to change the window. He was more than professional and came when he said he would. Nash 1 crew did an excellent job installing 18 windows in our sunroom. Very professional. The crew leader analyzed outside the box to overcome some oddities in our project, always gaining our approval for his ideas. Which all worked out great and the results were better than anticipated. The 5 month wait for the windows, I'm guessing, might have been related to Covid effects. That was not anticipated, as we were told when we ordered them in Feb 2021 that it would take 8-10 weeks.

We talked about his hometown & me living in the country..Well Milton explained everything fully from the 2 channel windows I have now and the 8 channel that y'all carried & the difference and the improvement it would be plus the UV protection that came in y'alls windows..Well I believe he probably measured every window at least twice from the outside to the inside..I knew then I was going to use Window World to replace my windows..We filled out the paper work & he explained each page to me. What I also liked he said it use to be 6 to 8 weeks but right now it was taking longer..Which we all know why that is..But after all was said & done I was well pleased..Thanks,

I purchased my windows from here over 5 years ago and it came off track so the tech fixed it and stayed till I washed the windows to make sure they didn't fall off the second floor. Prior to the repair I was afraid I would drop these floor to ceiling windows out the second floor. They are operating fine now. The tech was courteous, friendly and very professional.

I just had my windows installed yesterday so I can only review how they look and how the installation went. First the installation team was awesome! Every one of them were professional and courteous. They arrived around 11 and finished by 6 (they replaced every window in my house). I never saw one of them take a break. They exceeded my expectations by far!! As far as how they look... amazing! I had wood windows for years and decided to go away from wood. I’m very pleased with the look of the windows. My favorite is the large slider window above my freestanding tub in the bathroom.

Over the years I’ve used Window World several times for my rental property and my own home. I’ve always been pleased with their work. This is the first time I’ve used them for gutters and gutter guards. Their salesman and their crew have always been great! On one window job, only one man showed up, with a helper that came along later on that day. I was impressed, the job was finished in one day with no issues, he did a great job. Their gutter crew was very polite and very eager to please, my gutters look outstanding on my deck cover and my gazebo. Waiting to see how well the gutter guards will work on my exiting house gutters. The wait took longer than I expected but well worth the wait. I highly recommend Window World.

The Windows are AWESOME! We had windows that were about 19 years old and you could just feel the cold in the winter time and the heat in the summer time coming through them. Immediately we noticed a difference with them in that regard as we did not have condensation or frost forming on the windows any more. We also noticed a HUGE difference the first night in the level of outdoor noise that we were so used to hearing. It was so quiet in the house. Where we live our back yard backs up to a very busy road which is very load during high traffic hours This was very very nice benefit that we were not expecting. The installation went superbly well. The guys showed up almost 2 hours earlier than scheduled which I am all about early rather than late. They jumped right to it and before I even realized they had all of the existing windows out. They did a very good job and they cleaned up after themselves very well. They were very respectful and they answered any questions that we had right away. I would HIGHLY recommend Window World to anyone that is considering getting new windows!

Over priced, everyone installed immediately bowed outward. Installer said he had no clue why they would do that. And just forget about doing a referral. I did, my brother did several times, never saw a penny for it even though they advertise $50 for referrals. They say what it takes to get you to sign a contract and then just like politicians they do what they want. UPDATE July 4, 2019 After input of my review I was contacted by Window World of Atlanta, GA. Very nice conversation with the outcome of a guarantee that all would be corrected to my satisfaction. It took several visits from different Window World technicians to determine the root cause and resulting actions. Window World stands behind their products and offers a satisfaction guarantee. I'm here to tell you that is 100 percent the truth. My windows were all replaced, are perfect, and the installation team was fantastic. All my dealings with the Window World team were very pleasant with one goal in mind and that was to make me a happy customer. They acheived that goal. Though there was an 8 week wait time on the windows, today they were installed quickly and professionally. The crew actually called and arrived at the job site an hour early to start and were out of there in two hours, having installed 11 beautiful new windows in my 20 year old house. My experience with WW of Huntsville, AL. was excellent. Everything the salesman told me at the purchase was done exactly as he described. From the order time, installation time etc. The crew that was installing our windows, was very good about calling me and giving me a time he would arrive and do the installation. The crew was very efficient, worked like crazy, as rain was approaching. I had about 34 windows installed, and they got all but 6 or 7 installed and ready for the exterior trim and sealing. They did not leave any mess, anywhere. I was pleased with the work and communications. The best part is the difference it made inside the house. Temperature got into the 20's the first night, amazing difference! I am pleased with the whole experience.

Can’t say enough about our windows. They look so nice and operate so well. The installation guys didn’t waste anytime replacing 13 windows in less than 3 hours. Quick, precise, clean and on-point price wise! What more can I say. Although it took longer than expected to get to an installation date once the contract was signed, we were very please with the outcome as a whole. The contact who came to our home was professional and was precise in taking measurements. The team of technicians who completed the install were not only fast with the installation, but left the area as if it hadn't been impacted in any way when they were done. Firstly, I ordered my windows in November and couldn’t get them until The following February. When they came to install them, one window did not fit. It was measured correctly, and the measurements on the window reflected that, but the actual measurement by the manufacturer was larger than what was actually measured. So I had to wait another two weeks to get that window in. After that window was installed, I noticed that I was not able to lock the window that had been previously installed, so they had to come out and work on that window. I’m happy with the windows, but I feel I should’ve been offered some type of discount on my windows because they had sent the wrong sized window, or a discount on a future project, Such as possibly a storm door or something.

I hate that the installation crew forced me to write down every bit my debit card info (down to the security code) before they would leave the site. I made it very clear that I was not comfortable giving my info on paper and that I would much rather call and pay window world on the phone. I called and waited on hold for an hour while the crew finished the windows but no one at window world was available. So, I was forced to write down my card info and hand it to the crew before they would leave. I complained to window world about the discomfort of the situation and they apologized many times but kept saying my card info was perfectly safe because the paper would be shredded upon entry. This is not entirely comforting. I'm sure that the crew is 100% nice and honest but on the off chance that they aren't....you've allowed them to keep my card info on paper for an entire weekend. It's just a worrisome situation for your customers. The lady on the phone said they do this because some people do not pay. That is no excuse; you should never ruin your good, paying customers' experience over that! Every business has to deal with the occasional nonpaying customer and they maintain good customer service while doing so. I will not be using window world again due to these policies and due to the fact that I apparently paid $300 per window for the cheapest window they had to be simply set into the holes.....(no finishing work whatsoever.) The salesman is very charming and makes it sound like you're getting everything when you're actually getting very little; so be careful! I still have to pay someone else to do all the finishing on the outside before they will look even remotely decent. I will update my review in the future if I have a better customer experience with the warranty (should I need it) and the actual windows but for now, I'm not thrilled about my experience.

The windows were exactly as ordered, and installation was great. The installers did a good job of forming and fitting the outside trim and caulking the inside and outside for a leak-proof seal. They also did a good job of cleaning up the de-construction debris. The sales rep gave me an installation estimate of 6-8 weeks. Within about a month I received a call with a new estimate of 8-10 weeks. I emailed the sales rep and asked for an explanation of the delays, but never received a response. The widows were installed after 3 months due partly (as best I understand) to the good efforts of an associate who responded to my plight and to the cancellation of another order. Maybe the timing is not particularly important in some cases, but it mattered to me because the delays impacted getting the house ready for sale. I believe the delays were caused by a huge backlog that was known at the time of the sale, and that I was given an unrealistic timeline to make the sale.

Be prepared to wait MONTHS. We ordered our windows in AUGUST. It is now the end of DECEMBER and still no windows. Twice Window World has bumped us due to weather. One would think since we have waited so long, they would reschedule us for the next day and bump another customer a day or 2. Nope, we have been pushed back over a week each time we have been bumped. We are now looking at JANUARY. I'll update this IF they get to us by January. Update: Window World did get to us in January and did a good job. The wait was still too long, but the workmanship is good.

We are very impressed with the WW product. We tried to schedule other quotes but nothing else measured up to their product. Even their base model window is a great window. And there are so many options to fit your budget and your needs. The sales process is a beast, it's a home reno project and just isn't gonna be completely painless. But Milton Marquette made it all make sense and was willing to price out every option I wanted to try before I finally landed on the window and options we wanted and that fit our budget. I can't wait till my new windows are installed! Follow up- we've had the windows a couple of wks now and have no regrets. We went with the 2000 series and they are fabulous, yeah the cool roll down screens when the 4000 series is a pretty awesome upgrade but these windows do NOT feel like we're settled for anything lesser. They are gorgeous, easy to clean and a wonderful upgrade in function as well. Had a cool moment during install - I was in my living room while Aubrey (absolutely cool dude, runs a smooth team with no flaws) was installing the 2 front windows. We ate a corner home with much traffic noise. As he pulled the first window I saw how little noise buffer the old window was. He had music going on his phone in his pocket. But when he put the window in the buffer change was huge, I was impressed. Then he moved across to the 2nd window and the noise level was back, and then he installed the new window- it blocked 70 percent of the volume easily, which is huge because he was 3 inches from the window. Was a very cool before and after that really demonstrated the quality of noise buffer. Also , we're not re-installing our upstairs window units. Usually upstairs is an oven compared to the rest of the house. The ceiling fans are more than adequate to handle the difference upstairs now. Long review- but truly the product deserves the rave. Im so very glad we pushed through the sales process and bought THIS product. One more thing, we've had the opportunity to compare with a slightly lower priced product bought at a lumber dealership that a friend had installed by a handyman. Theirs are nice, but looking at the product I see a definite quality bump in the WW product. Worth the little extra and our warranty is much more binding and easily usable.

In one day the crew put in all 11 windows and trim. 3 of the windows had a problem with foam getting on the vinyl siding. They replaced the vinyl siding. Again keeping us in the loop about when all of the vinyl was available. Window World has treated us great and they are reasonably priced.

We had new gutters installed, along with all new fascia, and soffit, and also all of our windows replaced with a line of highly energy efficient ones. The price in my mind, anyway, was very reasonable. Three different crews did the installation at three separate times, as is normal. The first crew did do some things wrong & created problems later for those who tried to get things fixed right (just the fascia, soffit, metal covering the wood around doors, etc.); there were some communication problems, but in the end they got everything taken care of expertly and made the proper amends -- we owe much to Albert (Huntsville), and to Todd Schrimsher (Production Manager, Huntsville) for providing a satisfactory resolution to the problems. We had zero problems with the window and gutter installations. Those were installed expertly and efficiently -- very professional people involved who knew exactly what they were doing and who each did their work in one day. (All of this was back in February initially, and no problems at all since then). Overall, this is a great company with great people who care about doing the job right. The product itself is of top-notch quality; were it not for the aforementioned issue, I would have given 5 stars. The most important thing, however, is that eventually they made everything RIGHT. Thank you, Window World.

I had all new windows (9 windows) put in my house 11 years ago. The price was fair and low compared to other brand name windows. The installers ripped all of the window trim off of my house. It was 6 inch wide full floor to roof window trim, not just around the windows. When I said something to them about it, they responded that their windows and trim are made for vinyl siding, which I don't have and am not going to install. The window trim they installed to replace what they ripped off was about a 1.5 inch piece of white colored metal flashing around the edge of the windows only. Needless to say, I was pretty much S.O.L. once they ripped it all off my house. There are even damaged places on my siding now from them removing the window trim. I had to repair some places on my siding and repaint the entire house to cover where the old window trim used to be. I also installed some shutters to try to improve the now different look my house has minus the window trim that isn't there anymore and I guess I got over the "shoddy" installation. Also, with my old windows, the windows were installed outward enough I had a small window sill inside the home. Not so with the new windows, they installed them flush inside so I now have no window sills inside anymore. Fast forward 11 years....The windows are definitely more energy efficient but as for the quality, not so great. The windows don't always line up when closing so the latches don't always catch properly. I have to force the windows to close properly to latch them sometimes. The little night lock levers don't always work and if you just push the window hard enough it will open right past the security locks. The little doors/flaps that cover the water drains on the outside of the windows have mostly all fallen off or broken off or whatever..they are gone. And as of today, EVERY ONE of the 9 windows has had to be replaced in 11 years' time because the seals between the glass panes goes bad and the windows fog up or some kind of fungus grows between the panes. Thank goodness for the lifetime warranty!!! I call them and most of the time they have been good with the warranty replacement, no questions asked, they just order me new windows and come replace the sashes. A time or two it seemed to be a struggle to get them to "remember" my replacement order and it took a considerable time to get my replacements. They also have changed the design of the latches over the years so some of my latches inside are different now after being replaced under warranty. I guess the bottom line is, you get what you pay for and there is a reason their prices are so low... I like my windows overall but the installation and the quality is sub par. I would not use Window World again in the future and I would not recommend them to anyone else, in fact whenever anyone I know has talked about getting new windows over the years, I have been sure to steer them clear of Window World.

i bought 10 windows in 2010 and had 3 leaking windows and 3 with crud in between panes. WW replaced cruddy sashes for free. at my request, they took out one of 3 leaky windows so i could inspect. (WW has insisted it was a leaky roof even though water starts 1/2 down the left side of all 3 windows. and only the LEFT SIDE. no other water has leaked in the house anywhere else.) EDIT: on august 17, window world came out and replaced EVERY WINDOW in my home with a brand new window. then they wrapped the windows on the outside. these new windows are a BETTER design than the old ones (i.e., no pocket sill). these guys were very professional, the windows look great and do not leak and i'm very happy now. i sent a certified demand letter to window world and that's when the manager, Chris V., found out i was getting the runaround and intervened. he came out and inspected the windows and decided the problems were window world's problems. he sent his best crew, Howie Tedder & gang, to do this job. Howie also repaired the damaged walls (i paid for the new panels and drywall) and he told me what the problem was with the original windows. the problem was that if you don't get your windows wrapped on the outside, the installers are not supposed to removed the blind stop (the outside stop) and install the window from the inside. this was not done and because of that there were leaks. about half of my windows had the blind stops removed (the stops are chipped) and none of windows were wrapped during the original install. also there were screws in the bottom of the windows going into the sills and this exacerbated the problem. so the problem came from a poor original installation job. if you have a problem with your windows, i suggest you ask to speak to Chris V (who is not the Chris at the front desk). i found him to be an honest guy who shoots straight. thank you window world for standing behind your windows. i would recommend you now.
