We initially signed off in April to replace every window in our house (39 windows), and while it took some time (completed Sept), we are very happy with the finished product. The install team was very professional and thorough, again very happy with the finished product. While it did take some time to make contact with Champion Atlanta initially, a couple months in (there was some changing of personnel), they became communicative and finished the install well, as expected.

Two years ago we did a carport enclosure as a sun porch. We saw an advertisement for Champion windows and decided to call for an estimate to install windows and a door. At the start of this review let me say that Champion gave us a beautiful sunroom that matched what they promised us. However, there were some things that we feel would be helpful for other potential customers to know. 1) Do your research. We didn't do much research before reaching out to Champion. Our neighbor across the street had used them for his sunroom so that was good enough for us. This is of particular importance because Champion's sales people are very charismatic so if you haven't done research prior to your sales consultation you're doing yourself a disservice and might feel pressured to sign a contract the day of your consultation. 2) Once we entered into contract we noticed the myriad of issues with communication. The issues all stem from there being no direct number for the local Champion office. This created scenarios like several of the ones we faced where we would have to call the national number, they would leave a message for the local branch, and we would have to hope that someone would get back to us. I had to do this several times to get copies of receipts and to get updates on the status of our project. The only times I spoke with someone from the local Atlanta office was when they were calling me to make a payment on my account. Once I got those persons on the line they were extremely helpful. 3) The communication issues were also present in how the actual construction was carried out. We entered into contract in early October, they started work mid November, and then ended the week of Christmas. During the November stretch there was a Champion crew at our house for four straight days and each day there was a reason why the project couldn't be completed. Ex: One of the windows was the wrong size, someone forgot to send handles for the sliding doors, the wrong crew was sent out to install the siding for our room. Each time the crew would say that another crew would be out to finish the job, and that was certainly true, but we would have loved if it didn't feel like that we were getting the run around. I want to reiterate that our sunroom turned out exactly as we drew it up with our sales rep but there were points in this process where dealing with this company was frustrating.

Where do I start, first off the sales rep was amazing. John Bailey , great guy very knowledgeable and not pushy at all! Matter in fact, our first project was new windows (13 of them) and we got advised super well. That project went so smooth! A big crew came in, they were respectful and friendly and clean! They finished up and we were beyond excited. The second project , I did an online quote for new doors, frame, side lites ectra. And a new front porch , they are building that as we speak! Again , a fantastic team of people fun, easy going and highly professional. They made sure, that my new front porch is build correctly. They replaced it all... Project number three Next week, they will start with the siding of our house. By now I have the fullest confidence it will get done properly. Champion, are professionals they communicated promptly. And according to schedule.. My wife and I will have more projects to do in the near future (back deck rebuild) you get what you pay for. I read the bad reviews here, and mostly it’s because of scheduling issues. I have not had that experience, also when you do big projects?! You cannot expect them to be there next week and be done in a day. If you’re expecting that? You should settle for a cheap handyman that does a half a$$ed job. Been there done that, never again Edit: by now our entire house is done, mr brooks came out last week to do final measurements on our deck. Which will be extended from 14feet to 25 feet by 10. Our house looks nothing short of amazing, the siding crew had more work than they thought. 7 days these guys (Raul and sons I believe) in the summer heat they worked on our house. Such a pleasant experience , awesome crew and commended them more than once in the amazing job they did. Champion will have more to do in a couple of years. We have big plans for our house . Our entire renovation, gave us a totally new look on our house. But also future choices , champion will be the one doing all the work !! Super happy and proud we got this far with them without any hiccup!! Thank you so much for being a fantastic company with highly professional people at the helm. We are super happy with our house now . For years we lost that “we love having a home” feeling. You gave that back to us, which is priceless in many ways. I called Champion last summer and Dmitri, one of their expert consultants, came out within a couple of days, and we drew out the sketch for the room. I had a ton of questions and Dmitri answered them all. This room was totally customized to my desires--I wanted LOTS of glass, 3 sky lights, reinforced beams to hang hammock chairs for my kids, 2 remotely controlled fans/lights, extra high ceiling, and a few other special requests--and Dmitri made sure all of this happened at a price that was very fair! One of the big reasons I chose Champion was their size and stability. I knew that with this room being exposed to the elements, it needed to be built to perfection, and I knew Champion had done thousands of these rooms before mine and they had the process down to an art form. I also liked that I would have a 15-year warranty on the room and a lifetime warranty on the glass (which, by the way is 95% UV-protected using Argon gas between the panes (I'm a former engineer--these details stick with me!)). When it came to actually building the room, the job was done amazingly well. The concrete people came and removed my old tilted slab, poured a new one (mono-pour--one large slab for the entire room), then the room construction guys came and built the room piece-by-piece with parts that were pre-constructed and then adjusted/trimmed on-side to make sure everything fit. The angled glass was custom-made for my room. The sky lights have the same UV protection to let in all the sun and keep out all the bad stuff. The electrical contractor they use was very accommodating and put in some additional things that I wanted for my room. The heating/AC unit cools the room off on the hottest days in about 5-6 minutes, and heats it on the coldest days in the same short time. The room is very thermal efficient (one of Champion's hallmarks, which also sold me on using them), and the additional electric cost has been pretty much non-noticeable. I've posted some before and after photos showing how the ugly concrete patio used to look and how beautiful the room now looks, both from the outside and inside. It is the pride and joy of my home, and all who visit love it! It's the natural gathering place for parties and just hanging out. If I had to do it all over again, I would use Champion again and I would definitely want Dmitri as my consultant--the consultant helps design and create the room by helping the client envision what can be achieved to meet their goals, and Dmitri has been with Champion for over a decade and gave me lots of great ideas!

My wife and I finally got in the market of getting enclosed Sunroom windows and structures to replace our old, dingy, screened-in covered porch on the house we bought a few years ago, and Champion Windows fulfilled the need! Our sales rep, Jose V, was a great asset to the company and helped solidify our choice to move forward with the project and finalize our design. Installation by Chris and his team was absolutely outstanding! Chris was super knowledgeable and held a master's class in quality and craftsmanship, turning my porch into an amazing living space. We've had the space completed for about a week now and honestly couldn't be happier. The only negative we experienced was an extra delay from our initial installation estimate during the manufacturing, due to an engineering mis-configuration. They contacted me about the slight change in plans and then the updated materials were created, installed, and we're happy campers. The finished product is already wow-ing our friends and family!

We bought an older house last year and have been remodeling the house in small steps. We first purchased 5 windows from Champion. We had to wait a bit for the windows to be measured and to have them installed (6 weeks), but they were installed very quickly once the windows were available. We then decided that the front on the house needed to be completed since it looked a bit strange with 5 new windows and 3 old windows. So, I just purchased the remaining three windows for the front of the house. I am very satisfied with them and they look really nice! My windows all needed to be replaced and I had two very professional men come out to my property for installation. They were punctual, professional, and tidy. They quickly installed my windows and finished them off by caulking the surrounding areas and even repairing one of my outdoor window frames that was completely rotten. My house has a whole beautiful makeover after their great work! They even cleaned up all of their mess on the outside AND inside of my house after completing installation! We had an appointment with Calvin Church on 3/12/22 for a 10 windows installation quote. Mr. Church was on time, very knowledgeable about the product, professional in his representation of the company and seemed to really enjoy his job. He offered several payment options for us and contacted his supervisor to see if he could offer us additional savings. We decided not to purchase the new windows, but did learn a lot about the different types and quality of windows from the presentation. Overall, the salesman was very professional and knowledgeable. But the email that sent prior to the appointment, stated it would be “60 -90 minutes “……. It actually ended up being over 150 minutes.

I swung by Champion Windows to find information on purchasing some windows. I spoke with Ezekiel who was in town from the corporate office. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining how Champion Windows are constructed and the Champion process from purchase to install. I'm still searching other options, and will post back once I make a decision. Approximately one month ago, I made an appointment with Champion to come out and show me what they had available for replacement windows. I just recently purchased a new home that need new windows. The salesman (Josh H) came out and was very professional and courteous. We got along great! He was very knowledgeable of the window industry. Initially, I was going to compare Champion to another company. However, after Josh H's presentation. We closed the deal to have all 38 windows in my home replaced. One other thing that made a big difference is the fact that the company Champion use for their financing only charges around 6% interest, where as one of the competitors financing charges 30%. To me the financing cost alone is huge! I like the simple warranty Champion has, "If it breaks we'll fix it". I also plan to have my exterior doors replaced in the near future too by Champion.

The sales rep had some car trouble on the way to our initial consultation but had Champion get in touch with me as soon as they could to let me know he would be about 15 minutes late. He showed up only 5 minutes after our initial time was set. He was very professional and very informative about the product and it's features. I found the sales technique he used to be mildly smarmy like a used car salesman but I believe this technique was taught to him by Champion. I would recommend Champion re-evaluate their training program for sales so that “Captain Obvious” questions are eliminated in order to not antagonize prospective buyers. Also, while we appreciate the discount we received I found the “let me call my boss for a better discount” to be trite and the pressure to make an immediate decision or lose the added discount to be off putting. Champion has a very good product, one of the best we saw in our search for replacement windows. Let your product speak louder than the sales theatrics.

The representative we met with today, Jack Piscetta, was punctual, respectful, knowledgeable and also humble. It is very refreshing to have someone in your home who can tell you why you should buy their product without being hugely arrogant. Jack listened to what we wanted, which was basically a repeat of what we bought the first time but for a different room, and then worked with us to make sure we had the price and the product we wanted. The representative from Champion was on time. Jimmy gave a good demo of the product. I was impressed that Champion did not sell lower grades of their windows. A suggestion to anyone buying vinyl windows is to look at a cutout of the windows a company is offering for sale. Champion was the only window I saw that has foam installation inside the window frame. Every other company uses empty air chambers as way of insulating the window frame. I had talked to five other companies. The Champion window just seemed to a better product for the money. The price was a little high, but to my surprise the company was willing work with me on the price. I look forward to getting my windows in about six weeks.

Just wanted to say that Champion Windows will be replacing our 1986 origional single pane windows in November this year. Our Sales associate came over and was very kind and straight forward. We had a budget in mind and he was able to be in budget. Plus, because they make their own windows the turn time was much better than other competitor's that we quoted. The following week they did final measurements for 22 windows and I am waiting for the call to schedule installation. So far I am very happy with the company. Will post more when windows are installed.

First, the quality and construction of the windows is great. Their guarantee is excellent. The contract installation team, three young men from Brazil did an excellent job and left the area in excellent condition. All this being said, I would have a hard time recommending Champion due to their customer relations. The sales appointment was set up over a month in advance (they delayed the appointment date). The appointment was scheduled for 9AM on a Saturday morning. I received multiple texts and emails reminding me of the appointment, making sure that I and any other decision makers would be available. There were so many that it bordered on harassment. Then on the scheduled day, at 8:57AM, THREE minutes before the appointment, I received a message that they were cancelling and had no reschedule available. I called back, only to get transferred to corporate where I could leave a message. I was livid and let them know. Later in the day, around 4PM, a sales manager showed up. He measured, described the process, then quoted an acceptable price with a 6-9 week delivery time although he expected an earlier installation. Six weeks came and went, nine weeks came and went, not a peep from anyone at Champion since they cashed my check. At ten weeks I started calling them. The customer service people had no idea about my order, the promises of people returning my calls were ignored, multiple calls resulted in some very rude customer service people and some that were very sympathetic but unable to give me any info. More promises that someone would call me back later in the day. Then at week 12, I received my first phone call stating my windows would be at the local warehouse on Tuesday and they would be installed on Friday. As I said in the beginning, the installation went very well with a non Champion contract crew. I am extremely pleased with the appearance of the windows. They appear to be very well made and if their warranty stands up as written, I should never have any more problems. But I hesitate to recommend them due to the Long wait times and the lack of communication given to keep the customer up to date on the progress.

Due to both the complexity of our project (converting an existing somewhat weirdly built screen room to a glassed sunroom) and some technical issues with the financing company he spent a good 3 hours getting us squared away! He was amiable, knowledgeable, patient, and thorough. We're really happy with the design plan and satisfied that he did all he could to get the cost (almost!) within our budget. Champion's current sales incentives really helped to get the cost down to a number we could manage. The company is offering some pandemic-time discounts that I encourage potential customers to look into. Champion had been on our list of highly recommended companies but we did not have a big budget to work with; without that extra taken off there's no way we could have engaged one of our "first tier" companies.

He was a very understanding a good listener, very thorough on what we will be buying, what the warranty will be covering. Update! It has been less then 4 weeks and our 4 tempered windows were installed today! The crew was not only on time but called and asked to come early then we were told it would take 3 hrs and it was just under that from start to finished. We moved the kitchen table and chairs WAY out of the way and took our kiddos downstairs to the playroom to keep out of the way. Their attention to the outside of the window was way above what we expected. The sales men told us how great these windows would be from the inside but he didn't tell us from the outside they look ALMOST tinted we LOVE these windows and can not wait to get to phase 2 of our window replacement! I would give them more then 5 stars just on the installation crew alone!

This is not the first house where we replaced the windows. We’ve had other experiences and a realistic expectation of the costs and installation. My husband and I had an excellent experience with Champion Windows of Atlanta. Everything they promised, was delivered, including a very professional installation. The staff was courteous and our home looks beautiful. We’ve noticed a remarkable difference in the temperature in the house, our heating unit seems to run half as much as it did previously. The comfort level has dramatically increased, what a difference quality windows make. We would recommend Champion to anyone thinking of replacing their windows.

Interesting to read these reviews because of the either love or hate of Champion. I wish everyone had an experience like we had. We have worked with Champion 2 times now for window installation. The sales people have showed up early or in time and were easy to work with. Feel like they were reasonable in the communication as to the time they would take to manufacture. My understanding is that all the windows are custom to the home, which take about 2 months to make. They told us that and have been ready within the window of time they gave us. During one installation they accidentally broke our hose real. When we let them know they sent out a Home Depot gift card to replace the reel. We have been happy with the windows post install. They really do a great job of keeping the UV rays out (less fading) and during the summer our electric bills have been significantly less (about $75 to $100 less per month). We would say the only downside is price. They are expensive! Definitely negotiate with them, even with negotiations they are still expensive. We are planning on staying here some time, so we feel like with the lifetime warranty and energy efficiency they will be helpful. Definitely and investment mindset.

He was able to answer all of our questions, advise us on the pros and cons of Champion's products, demonstrate why they are a superior product, and, most importantly, it never felt like a "sales pitch". Our home was built in 1985. The wood windows were in excellent shape cosmetically. Since moving in 4 years ago we have lamented the fact that the windows were uncomfortably cold to sit near in winter and plain hot in the summer. Our neighbors have had Champion Windows for years and kept recommending them to us. After looking at the other products and companies, each with a convincing story and compelling product. I don’t think any other company recommended foam filled sash’s and frames, nor had the glass that only Champion builds; it's very impressive. We chose Champion Windows for their comfort glass, quality, build, warranty and reputation. The installation process was as painless. The installation crew showed up on time at 8:30 and did not stop until 6:50 that evening. They were polite and professional; a nice crew. The results were immediate. That night it was down in the mid 30’s. I believe our home heating units kicked on half as much as before. We both keep commenting on how nice they look and how comfortable we are now. I was extremely impressed with the detail that the installation crew gave to the trim work. Our neighbors we right about Champion; we would recommend Champion to anyone interested in the best window at an excellent price.

I don't know why I kept giving them a chance. Champion Windows specializes in over promising, and under delivering. These "premiere" windows frequently lose the gas seal, are not readily replaced as they promise. You they costed $100 to replace in 2017, and now, I don't know what the current cost to fix is now because they don't seem to have a service dept. Not only is a window again fully clouded, but pretty much all the bumpers that hold the windows up if you open them, just crumble away, they are basically tiny gravel. I have to use tall, hard objects to hold up the open windows. I've tried off and on for year to contact service, but no success. UPDATE: I did get in touch with a nice customer service rep, and ordered new window and bumpers. Someone will call, she said, to schedule a time to install, will take at least 4 weeks, which I expected.

This past week (February 2, 2019), my wife and I met with a sales representative, Michael Bradley, from Champion Windows, Atlanta, Georgia. Michael introduced himself and told us of his background in the window industry. He then asked us as to what we believed our needs for window replacements for our home. After a brief discussion explaining our window needs and other considerations, for example, wanting total maintenance free on the exterior windows, frames and sills. Michael toured our home to Look at the windows that we were interested in replacing. After viewing the windows and taking measurements we again met to discuss how Champion windows can help us. Michael gave us an in-depth explanation of Champion’s window manufacturing center in Ohio and then demonstrated all the features of Champion windows. The windows would be totally maintenance free and provide us with excellent thermal qualities. He also took time to clearly explain the warranty that Champion offers compared to his competitors and as a result there is no doubt in our minds that Champion’s warranty is the best in the window business bar none! Michael never knocked any of his competitors or their products and VERY IMPORTANT TO US DID NOT PRESSURE US TO MAKE A PURCHASE. We gave Champion a 4 out 5 stars review and the reason we did not give 5 stars is that we did not choose Champion for this current project at our home and therefore can’t speak to the installation process. Champion would have been our choice for our replacement windows. However, in addition to our window needs, we also had a contractor engaged to repair siding and other issues at our home to include painting our home’s exterior. Our contractor, who is our neighbor, offered us a deal on windows while he is doing the other work on our home which we just could not say no to. Hopefully, we made a good choice at this time to use the contractor, but there is no doubt that future window needs for us and or family and friends, without hesitation I will recommend Mike Bradleynand Champion windows. I believe in writing a review for good and not so good experiences in dealing with vendors, etc. This experience, I’m happy to say was very positive!!! Bill M.

The sales rep for our sunroom consultation was friendly and patient, though he seemed to underestimate pricing. He asked what we were comfortable spending and said he should be able to keep us in that price point for the size of sunroom that we wanted, then seemed to experience a bit of sticker shock (as did I) when it came back about $10K higher. I had him run numbers for three different sizes of sunroom before settling on the same size as the deck we're replacing. I felt bad keeping him here for nearly two hours, but he seemed to take it in stride. I've sent him a couple emails with some questions since signing the contract and he has been very quick to respond. The biggest complaint that I do have, however, was some info that came to light when another rep came out to measure for the sunroom this week. He informed me that the pitch of the roof of the structure we are replacing is not high enough to accommodate a ceiling fan. We will either need to lose the ceiling fan or cut & cap our brand new gutters to gain enough height to have a ceiling fan. When the other rep asked, I stated that the sales rep had not informed me of same. He said he would need to talk to him as it was not the first time this sales rep has failed to mention height issues. Overall, it has been a good experience. I'm just hoping for smooth sailing for the rest of the project.

Fantastic product. You can by cheaper windows and doors at the DIY stores but you will have to replace them eventually again. Champion has a lifetime warranty and will fix the windows for any breakage. Somebody broke the glass of my Champion window trying to break in and I just called them to get the window glass fix. No charge and they replaced the entire window! You will not find any other company that will do that.

We had siding, gutters and a very large deck replaced. Almost $40,000.00. Everything turned out great looking with the exception of our deck. With what we paid, they used CHEAP pine wood for the deck. We didn’t know better, we trusted them. Firstly, they don’t specialize in decks. Two pieces of the wood keep sapping. Right in the middle of the deck. We called them to replace the two boards and they had the audacity to quote us $250.00, just to replace two pieces of wood. I can recommend them for siding only, but do your homework in regards to the wood type that they use. Get deck specialist not siding installers. We learned a hard lesson.

Update post-completion: Darn good siding job. They worked until the project was fully delivered and were quick to resolve when I had concerns. Recommend without hesitation. Update 4/25: Re-engaged by multiple champion staffers at this point. Notified on Tuesday of this week that materials would be delivered. The on-site crew was very communicative and responsive. I felt confident this job would be executed smoothly. Bumping up the rating to 4- stars. Update 3/1: Representative came to do final measurements. Says the (insulated siding) job will be done in 6-8 weeks. Seemed nice. Given that Champion is holding a deposit (in the thousands), I am paying close attention to this timeline. I've not heard any updates or even received a friendly call to say "Hi there, we've not forgotten about you, here's where things are right now...." so I'm lowering my 4 rating to a 3. Starting on 3/30, will be lowering by an additional point for each week of silence. We're two weeks of silence from a 1. I'm holding out hope that Champion's going to wow me, and I'll be inspired to inch this rating back up. But they're on the ropes this week, folks. Tune in next week for more updates. Update 2/23: Rep arrived 30mins later but did offer to exchange info. He explained that for some reason he is not provided with customer's direct number. Since the offices are closed, no one is available to let customer know status. Also, Cincinatti office does not have his direct number. Overall though, he redeemed much of this broken process with his positive attitude and willingness to work through the project details (insulated siding, fascia, soffits, trim, etc). I will be adjusting this rating regularly as the relationship evolves. Update 2/23: Rep was a no-call, no-show. There is no direct line to the staffer/estimator assigned to do your quote project so all the calls to the local number are routed to Cincinatti . Tristan in Cincinatti was helpful, and explained that although the Atlanta office is closed on weekends despite holding Saturday appointments, there is no email address the customer can reach out to and the reps don't put a contact number in the calendar appointment. If you reply to the calendar appointment, you get a bounceback. Waiting to see what happens when they follow up Monday.
