Everyone was very pleasant and professional--from the Sales team (Adriane and Tyler) to the Contractors who installed my door. They provided me with excellent customer service and quickly accommodated minor changes I made throughout the ordering process. They were always up front about the process and costs. While they are definitely not the most affordable option and the wait time to get the install done is extremely long (about 5 months), their quality is top tier! I absolutely love my new door! I hope to use them for future door/window upgrades in the future! Thank you, Richmond Window Corporation/Renewal by Andersen!!

I would like to share what our experience was with Renewal by Andersen/Richmond Window, our experience started in early March of 21 with being introduced to their incredible product. We (Kathy and I),were very clear with each other that we were going to get a few quotes from various dealers in the Windows/doors replacement business, at the end of the first evening hearing about Andersen Windows are replacing all!! our windows we both came to the same conclusion that we didn't need to look any further to another Company, we realized Renewal by Andersen was the only Company we were going to have install our new windows and doors. There is no product out there on the market today, we believe, can compare to their quality and professionalism with doing the amount of work we needed done to improve our Home,it was simple as that. Sliding patio doors now are either 60 or 72 inches. The door being replaced was 66 inches, so we had to go custom. We did not like the quality of the all vinyl sliders because the lower track is vinyl so we contacted RBA. The sales person that came to our house was professional and knowledgeable. It was an easy sell for her because we had RBA do windows on another house (in another state) and are familiar with the high quality and high prices. The project manager was thorough. BTW, I am a retired engineer and builder, so I made the job easier for him by removing the interior door trim before he came to measure and inspect. The installation crew was punctual and professional. Since I was doing both custom interior and Hardy exterior trim, they finished in about 2 hours.

We had them install a quality front storm door for us. They first came out to the house to look at our space and door area, and show us all of the options they had available. It was time well spent, and from there we paid a deposit and scheduled the installation. The crew that did the work did a beautiful job, and the door itself is a thing of beauty and quality. Bottom line: we paid a fair price, got a door that we love, and they did what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it. That’s getting harder to find these days.

Love the new storm door and the installation crew did a great job. They showed up on time and the installation was excellent. Storm door was kind of pricey, but it's a beautiful door. The sales rep, unfortunately, didn't really know his product as well as he should have and should have been vaccinated. He did, however, wear a mask.

The products look good and have a good warranty but make sure you do your homework before purchasing. The sales presentation and pricing subtly pressure you to purchase at your 1st home appointment. We canceled our order because we found significantly better pricing elsewhere for a similar door and warranty.

I can't say enough good things about RWC. They replaced all the windows and entry doors in our 1966 2500 sf house using Renewal By Andersen products. The results have been amazing! Curb appeal, lower energy costs, noise reduction, more stable room temps, no more drafts or sweaty windows, and LIGHT! I hate to cover these windows. They're too pretty. Also after literally decades of living with most windows swollen shut, I find I have to remind myself to open a window when I get hot cooking. LOL! Best replacement windows on the market. What was even better was our customer experience. From the first contact to the occasional check-ins from the office even a year later, the professionalism and down right likability of everyone we worked with were top notch. We aren't wealthy people. I honestly never thought we'd be able to afford replacing the windows in our house. Or, that we would have to settle for lower quality products. But RWC worked with us to make this project totally doable. All I need to do now is hire a painter so our rooms look as good as our windows! 😉 So... give them a call. You won't be sorry!

We were impressed with the whole package from beginning to end. The salesman explained just how the windows outperformed anything on the market. The foreman personally measured everything making sure it would be correct. We were informed when they would arrive and how long it would take. The installers worked none stop from the time they arrived till they left. They came back the next day to complete the inside work. It looks like there is no glass. A couple days later we had a couple days of 90 degree weather. We came home in the evening and the house was actually cool without AC ever being used. Great product that is worth the cost.

However, with neither of us having purchased windows before, we were not sure which company to go with and would provide the best deal, price and overall experience. Renewal by Andersen was the first to come out to our house. The representative took the time to walk through the house and see the issue we were dealing with, then began explaining why we should go with Andersen. What impressed us both was he was less about selling us windows than educating us on the different types of windows and what Andersen does/has done to improve the product. In the end, we did decide to go with Andersen even though they were more expensive. It was the quality of the conversation and the sense we were getting more for our money than competing companies. While we did have to wait a number of months for the windows and replacement door to be made, we were able to keep posted on the status of our project with the myProject site Andersen set up with us up with. We also had a project manager come out and advise he would be watching over the project to make sure it was completed successfully. On the day of the installation, the crew showed up earlier than scheduled and got right to it. The old windows were gone quickly and the new ones put in with only a few issues. I give credit to the crew and the project manager for addressing each problem as it came up and staying on it until it was resolved. Specifically, one of the window locks broke during install and the project manager had to put it back together. There was also a problem with the door not sitting quite right in the frame, but the crew kept adjusting it until it was right. When all was said and done, my wife and I had a set of very cool looking windows that not only are keeping the cold air outside where it belongs, but are definitely going to add to the value of our home.

For me, achieving a good balance between quality and price is an important part of any large project; such as window replacement. Since a friend had recently had her windows replaced, I had a reasonable idea what to expect. The company that installed my friend's windows completed the work in one day with a crew of 4. By contrast, the "Renewal" crew numbered 6 or more and the project took 3 days. Although my project cost a bit more (some of my windows were quite large, and 3 doors were installed), the quality of Renewal is clearly superior. All the Renewal personnel involved in sales, measuring and installing were friendly and informative. The technicians were particularly skilled and meticulous. An additional plus turned out to be the excellent short term financing they offer. I had planned to pay for the project by refinancing, but when the mortgage application was delayed, "Greensky" financing was available. Renewal by Andersen windows are not inexpensive, but quality-wise, I think I "got what I paid for."

I have to start by saying that our design rep, Lauren was on time, knowledgeable, personable and professional. She explained all the products to us and thier differences. In the weeks later Lauren was very responsive to my text messages and phone calls about the process. When it was time for the windows to be installed the Manager Daniel called us to let us know that our installation crew was on its way to the house. Once I crew arrived, the lead installer Junior introduced himself and went through the process of installation step by step and asked if we had any questions or concerns. We had none and he asked to see the windows he was replacing. As he was looking at the windows, the other two guys on his crew unloaded all the tools, windows and supplies. They all started prepping the window areas for removal. They put thick blankets under all the windows. They covered all flat services with plastic. They also covered all bushes and ground under the windows. Once they had everything set up you never heard them say anything to each other. All you heard was three men working like a well oiled machine. When they got to the last window, one man worked on the window while the other two cleaned up all debris from the installation. They finished the whole installation of 8 second story windows in around 5 hours. Once they were done, Junior went over all the paperwork and walked us through the house showing all the installations. Once done inside we went outside to see how the windows looked installed on the house. THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL!!! These installers did a awesome job!!! Now before Junior and his crew had gotten out of sight, Daniel the Manger called to see if we were completely happy with the windows, installation, crew and clean up. I told her everything was more than perfect and we were so happy with everything, we had decided to call Lauren and have her come over the next morning to order replacement windows for the first floor windows!!! So Lauren showed up at 10am as scheduled and she measured and ordered are new windows!!! We requested that we only wanted Junior to come back and installed our new windows. Now we are excited that we will have all new windows in the house. We could feel the difference in the house last night after they were finished. We love the decision to go with Anderson Windows!!!

These windows are excellent! We have already turned our thermostat down 2 degrees F. The sound attenuation is also very good as compared to our old windows. Very professional and responsive installation crew. No cleanup for us afterwards. Minor issue that there are some minor scratches on a couple of the window frames by the installers and two minor dents in the wall where some of the windows were installed. No big deal but not quite a perfect job. However, their product is top notch!!

Our custom is not to give 5-star ratings simply because we never want to see anyone rest on their laurels. But if I could figure out how to make the last one a half star for a 4.5, I would do that! We had a bank of 6 windows in our LR replaced, due to wood rot on the original frames. The top 3 large original fixed windows were replaced with awning windows; the bottom 3 smaller original awning windows were replaced also with awnings. Our salesman was very knowledgeable about the product and options, and very clear in his explanations; and our measure tech was careful and precise with his job and also very willing to answer questions. Our installers were AWESOME. They handled some unexpected challenges in removing the old windows and compensating for some parts of the installation needing to be done a little differently than expected with professionalism, skill, and some good old common sense. We are happy with the quality of the windows, and with the features we now have that we did not have before (top windows that now open, handles that tuck away, and decent screens). We look forward to these windows outliving us, and we definitely look forward to working with these folks again when it's time to address future projects!

I must have nearly 3 dozen Andersen casement windows & doors in my house (we built this house in 2000). I wanted to replace two triple casements that opened onto a porch because the casements, when opened, took up too much space. Mike showed me a triple sliding window that impressed me a LOT—because both ends of the sliding window overlapped in the center fixed window! I was in love with it, and in awe, so I ordered two of them. When Brian & co came to install them (and they did a fabulous job), just as they were finishing, and opened the windows to check their work, I realized—oh no, these were NOT the windows I ordered...not at all. So I told Brian please stop, don’t go any further, these were the wrong windows. A lot of phone calls ensued—me to Mike, Brian to Andrew (the guy in charge of measuring and ordering), Mike to Paul (the ops manager), Paul to me....come to find out, no such window exists. There would need to be 3 rails for the windows to overlap in the center, and Andersen doesn’t make that. How did this happen? Apparently the virtual reality/design folks goofed (quite a bit, in my opinion) and sent out a design app that mistakenly showed what I thought I saw and expected to get. I was so utterly disappointed, I would never have chosen the window I got if I’d known this was what I was getting. At least I got Brian to remove the “stop” in the center fixed window so I could at least open one window fully instead of half-way. After 24 hours, I calmed down. Paul called me from Richmond and asked what would it take to make me happy—they were prepared to do whatever it took....different windows were no problem. They would have redone the entire job! We settled on another discount instead. Ultimately, I came to the conclusion that I still had the best windows, and their look matched the rest of my windows, I never could have had the windows I wanted—they just don’t exist. But Andersen’s design app people really need to know about this, because that’s the ONLY reason I held back one star—not for the Richmond folks, who were great.

I hired them to install a sliding glass patio door which they did. Recently the reach-out lock was broken when some furniture was put thru the door and needs to be replaced.
