After a break-in, I called and submitted online requests to quite few places. I got a hold of Steve and he was able to come over, give me an estimate and start the installs on my entryway. It took a few days before my front door could be installed, but he secured my front entry with a security door and workable locks til then. I still haven't received callbacks from any of the other places I called. I know this time is very busy and even consultations are weeks out, but I'm so happy I got a hold of and went with Steve. Steve and his crew are the best!! We have a 4' wide solid wood custom front door that never worked right since it was installed in the newly built house. At least 4 different businesses came and "fixed" it over 10 years but it never stayed fixed for longer than a month or two. I called Steve's Door Installation one day and he came right out and fixed the door for real. It has worked easily and flawlessly for two years now. I called them yesterday to come and replace the weatherstrip bar at the bottom of the door. He said he would call back and let me know if he had the part in stock and how much it would cost to replace. He called back a couple of hours later and came out this morning. The door still works like a charm and now I have a new weatherstrip. These guys are fast, easy to work with, affordable and do a great job! I highly recommend them.

We are very pleased with the installation of our new door. We have an old adobe but wanted a side door with double pane glass. Steve came by a few times while we were in the planning phase because we were very concerned that our stucco would not be harmed in the process of the door installation. Pat's Doors recommended Steve's Door Install. I required two door replacements in a rental property. Steve and his son Steve Jr. showed at the appointed time. Steve quoted a fair price and as we talked I queried Steve about addressing issues with other doors within the apartment due to their age. I also inquired about raised panel doors to enhance the interior appearance as I was accomplishing an entire remodel. Steve subsequently quoted a price to install all new raised panel doors within the unit including closet and bi-fold laundry doors. This is the work Steve accomplished. I am very pleased with the outcome of all the new doors! Highly recommend!

Steve tackled a door installation project that other installers wanted nothing to do with or sought to charge me twice what a similar installation done a few months earlier had cost me. It was putting in a pre-hung door at the other end of a short passageway in an old adobe/frame house. The measurements of the placement area varied by a couple inches, which he had to compensate for and then there was a slight gap at the top that he also had to account for with trim etc. Steve stuck with it and got it done beautifully for the quoted price. I highly recommend Steve's Doors and I will definitely have him back for add'l door installations and adjustments to existing doors that should be tweaked. It is so refreshing to find a skilled contractor who is honest, reliable, and so very capable.

There aren't enough positive adjectives to describe the superior work of Steve and Steve Jr. In just over two hours, they installed a good looking six-panel metal door in the kitchen leading into the garage and completely realigned the sunroom door which was ill fitting from time in memorial. From bottom to top, from sweeps to weather-stripping to wood trim, their work is the epitome of perfection. In addition to being efficient and effective, they are extremely pleasant. Recently Steve's Doors installed 4 interior doors for me. The installation went smoothly and quickly; no problems once they were in place. They were unfinished, and I wanted them to be polyurethane-treated after the installation. That treatment was completed, but as doorknobs were being added, there was an issue with one not fitting properly. I called Steve, he promptly returned, made an adjustment, and installed the knob. The doors look great, and I've had multiple compliments about them. I will also mention that Steve's Doors has installed doors on more than one occasion and in more than one location over several years for myself and members of my family. Needless to say, we have always been pleased not only with the work done, but also with the interactions with Steve and his crew. Steve knows doors!!

Steve and his worker were about to remove the door, repair the area and install the new door all in the same day. Actually It was less than 6 hours. Steve's work is nothing more then miraculous!!! My rear entrance door was super bad. You had to slam it with your shoulder to get it open or closed. Steve rebuilt the framing and the door itself, including adding in a window to the existing door. The new setup is perfect. If you have any issues with doors, Steve and his crew are the ones to call. They work fast and make sure it is all good before leaving the site.
